Other highlights are the new rear wing and a center-mounted dual exhaust system. There is also big brake system and a set of center-locking wheels, which is very interesting.

Nothing is mentioned about the engine, but it is expected to be the new 3.8 liter naturally aspirated flat-six developing 470HP (346 kW). It will send the power on the road through the new PDK transmission. 0-100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and a top speed of more than 322 km/h (200 mph).

  • SR Auto Porsche Panamera GTS – Project Crimson Crusader

SR Auto Porsche Panamera GTS Crimson Crusader is another astonishing tuning from the fellows from SR Auto. This time the emblematic Porsche model is equipped with outstanding Davinci Red PUR Wheels.

Not only this high contrast between the crimson color and the white exterior is breathtaking, but it also aims to bring a bit of color back to the wheel industry. After the successful SR Auto Ferrari 458 Italia – Project Ice Blade, it was more than obvious that contrasts in color are much appreciated.

The platform for this second rendition is the unique Porsche Panamera GTS. The latter is powered by a 4.8 liter naturally-aspirated V8 which generates 430 hp (316 kW) at 6700RPM and 520 Nm (385 lb-ft) at 3500RPM.

The power is put on the road by 7-speed Porsche PDK gearbox through AWD system. Speaking about acceleration, this GTS runs from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.5 seconds pursuing its top speed of 288 km/h (179 mph).

In terms of sizing and suspension, the tuners have also done some improvements. The car has been lowered, and that lead to the selection of an appropriate wheel size that would accommodate large wheel wells while maintaining a comfortable ride.

In particular, they have given this Panamera twenty two inch profile Modern Black Face, Davinci Red Lip PUR 4OUR DEPTH wheels paired with the Basics lowering system.

  • Gemballa Porsche 991 Carrera S GT Cabriolet Brings More Driving Excitement

Gemballa-Porsche-991-Carrera-S-GT-Cabriolet-THUMBGemballa Porsche 991 Carrera S GT Cabriolet is the latest “air-cooled” 911 equipped with its familiar flat-six soundtrack. In addition, the featured Gemballa GT package compliments the excitement on the driving experience.

At the core of this tuning is of course Gemballa’s GT aerodynamic package. The transformation here begins with new, front bumper/spoiler section with three large cooling air intakes, and large lip spoilers. This results in more stabilizing downforce at speed.

The connection between the new front and the rear is emphasized through the organic lines of the front spoiler, which extend into the deep side skirts of the Porsche. The new rear bumper/valance includes a recessed panel. It has a strong top and bottom horizontal lines, which visually put emphasis to the width of the car.

Other exclusive features contributing to the new visual appearance of the car is the upright reflector lights, which are positioned at each end of the panel and give a functional meaning to its extremities. In fact the new composition gives the Porsche more three-dimensional stance.

A diffuser here sits between Gemballa’s stainless steel exhaust system made from stainless steel. The latter has a deep voice thanks to its valve-operated sound control feature and gives the car the soundtrack to match its looks.

All of the featured in the package aerodynamic components are made from top grade carbon-fibre. However, no additional upgrade was made on the motor. Still, even with the standard motor, the Cabriolet is faster from point to point thanks to the improved sports suspension and brakes.

The 30mm shorter springs are calibrated in order to operate with the factory PASM (Porsche electronic damping control system), while the brake system is highly resistant to fade and allows to set later braking points.

At last, this car runs on GForged-one alloy wheels with their choice of “diamond cut” or “gunmetal” finishes in the eye-catching 21-inch diameter size. Thanks to modern forged, lightweight construction, they weigh less than the factory 20-inch wheels, whci results in improved ride and handling.

  • 2013 Porsche Cayenne S Diesel – €77,684

Porsche has announced that they will offer Cayenne S Diesel coming with a mighty 4.2 liter twin-turbocharged V8. This is a bold move from the German manufacturer, because most of the people, who like fast vehicles choose the petrol variants and this is not everything. The true Porsche fans also like the petrol engines, instead of diesel variants. Still, this can be an interesting combination.

The twin-turbo V8 4.2-liter engine has 382HP (284 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 252 km/h (157 mph). Porsche claims that the big SAV will actually achieve a fuel consumption of 8.3 liters per 100 km, which is extremely hard for a big AWD SAV. That means that the 100-liter fuel tank it should be able to provide a range of more than 1200 km (750 miles).

The very special character of the Cayenne S Diesel is further underlined by the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) active all-wheel drive. This system delivers the dynamic qualities of a rear-wheel drive car, together with its inherent benefits in terms of handling and precision. Torque is directed to the front wheels precisely according to the driving situation to improve stability and traction. The optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) further hones this dynamic performance.

Other standard features include a dual-zone automatic climate control, leather interior, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, 7” touchscreen display and 18” alloy wheels fitted with low-profile performance tires.

The price for the big toy is €77,684 in Germany – including 19% VAT.

Dragtimesinfo has released a new video with two of the fastest cars in Russia – Porsche 911 Turbo 997 Mk.1 Proto 1000. As you may suggest, the car is boosted to one thousand HP. The second is also a Porsche, but this time a 911 Turbo tuned by Switzer having 950HP.

The first start is between 911 Proto 1000 and a lot underpowered Nissan GT-R Mk.2 Ecutek Stage 2 with “just” 670HP, which is 330HP less than the German beast. The GT-R didn’t stand a chance and finished the 1 mile race for 27.289 seconds with 300.00 km/h terminal speed, while the 911 stopped the clock at 25.377 seconds with 318.66 km/h.

The second start was between the same GT-R and 911 Turbo Switzer. Again, the Nissan is a lot underpowered, but the two cars are in same class, so everything is fair. The GT-R finished the 1 mile race in 26.656 seconds with 302.26 km/h, which is great result, but the 911 stopped the clock at 26.113 seconds with 298.44 km/h. Still, both cars are very close despite the 280HP difference.

In the second start, the RS6 is versus BMW X6 M, which is also extremely fast car, when tuned. However, the car is always with better Cd than a SUV and the result is 29.123 seconds on 1 mile for the RS6 versus 30.150 seconds for the X6 M.

  • Debut for 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 AWD

2013-Porsche-911-Carrera-4-THUMBThe new generation of Porsche 911 has been born. Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S are destined to offer dynamic advantages of the latest version of the active all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system.

Still keeping the rear-wheel drive, which is emblematic for the 911, the all-wheel drive chassis of the Carrera 4 and 4S delivers increased traction, road-holding and dynamic performance over a wide variety of road surfaces and in all weather conditions.

What is more, something very specific for the new Porsche models is that the rear wheel arches are extended further outwards by 22 mm. This allows a housing of rear tyres that are ten millimetres wider. The signature red light band that connects the two taillights has also taken on a new visual identity.

The new trims are offered as both Coupe and Cabriolet models, where each model shares identical characteristics to the rear-wheel drive versions, including lightweight body design, suspension, engine choices and gearbox options. However, modifications were made which relate to the all-wheel drive.

Furthermore, the new aluminium-steel composite body construction saves 65 kg of the overall weight of the car. Therefore the new 911 Carrera 4 models also offer up to 16 per cent lower fuel consumption.

The 911s are equipped with seven-speed manual gearbox as standard. However, the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) twin-clutch automatic transmission is available as an option here.

To go even further into details the 911 Carrera 4 includes a rear-mounted 3.4-litre flat-six engine generating 350 hp (257 kW), and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h only 4.5 seconds. For the Cabriolet version this is possible for 4.7 seconds. The top speed here is 177 mph. The fuel consumption with PDK here reach 32.8 mpg (203 g/km CO2) for the Coupé and 32.5 mpg (205 g/km CO2) for the Cabriolet.

On the other hand the 911 Carrera 4 S is powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine which produces 400 hp (294 kW) and offers acceleration time (from 0 to 100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds. Again the Cabriolet is a little bit slower – it needs for that sprint 4.3 seconds. The top speed here is 186 mph. Fuel consumption with PDK is 31.0mpg (215 g/km CO2) for the Coupé and 30.7 mpg (217 g/km CO2) for the Cabriolet.

In addition, a new sliding glass sunroof is now available as an optional for all 911 Coupé models.

The new all-wheel drive with Porsche Traction Management system however isn’t the only innovation included here. As a standard equipment, all models feature full leather interior, 4.6-inch colour touch-screen Porsche Communication Management with satellite navigation, automatic climate control, Bi-Xenon headlights, a universal audio interface offering MP3 connectivity, Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS).

The Carrera 4 Coupe is priced from £77 924, and the Carrera 4S Coupe priced from £87,959. The 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is priced from £86,583.00, and the Carrera 4S Cabriolet from £96,619.
