  • Ferrari unveils the sexy Monza SP1 and SP2 supercars

2018 Ferrari Monza SP1 & SP2Ferrari reveals new Monza SP1 and SP2 beauties at brand’s factory plant in Maranello. These are limited-edition vehicles and represent a new segment, called “Icone” and draw inspiration from the most bizarre models from the 1950’s.

Aimed at collectors, Monza SP1 and SP2 resemble Ferrari’s sporty spirit from the past and adopt super sexy and futuristic design, blended with numerous advanced engineering solutions. For example, Monza SP1 is designed to offer superior sporty experience for those behind the wheel, while SP2 offers a space for two and features a second protective screen and second roll-bar.

    2018 Ferrari Monza SP1 & SP2

Both models feature unique design that is not only sexy, but also contributes to enhanced performance and incredible performance rates – thanks to the carbon-fiber construction and distinctive details, both machines can adopt a mighty 810cv V12 unit. It aids the machines to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in mere 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200km/h in 7.9 seconds. Incredible, right?

Furthermore, the architecture of the vehicles is based on monolithic form with aerodynamic wing profile with absence of roof and windscreen that gives the designers the freedom and possibility to create a body that blends the traditional Ferrari elegance and the new-age abstract forms. The result is astonishing: we see pure design with minimalist form and refined details. The concept is visually complex, but still elegant and pure.

  • Ferrari unveils new Special Series sportscar

2019 Ferrari 488 Pista SpiderFerrari’s new Special Series model is named Ferrari 488 Pista Spider and was unveiled at Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach, California. This is the 50th drop-top model from the Prancing Horse team and as it seems, the premiere in US has happened naturally – since the ‘50s, North American clients have been keen connoisseurs of high-performance convertibles.

The vehicle itself sets new benchmark for Ferrari: first of all, it features an unprecedented weight-power ratio of 1.92kg/cv and adopts the most powerful Ferrari V8 engine ever that has already won Best Engine in the world award for the third consecutive year at the 2018 International Engine of the Year Awards. This is a 3902cc twin-turbo V8 machine that generates a total of 720hp and combines this output with increasing torque at all engine speeds that results on continuous and smooth acceleration all the way to the red line.

488 Pista Spider represents the natural development of the defining design of the coupe model. Brand’s designers have aimed towards maintaining that perfect balance between aerodynamic efficiency and sporty aggression. The whole design concept is revised and showcases new exterior and interior solutions as incorporating new lightweight parts, generously using carbon-fiber. However, what has caught our eye is the set of new diamond-finish 20-inch alloy wheels with a 10-spoke star-effect interpretation of brand’s traditional mid-rear engine berlinetta-styled rims. Also, there are optional one-piece carbon-fiber wheels that offer a 20 per cent weight reduction, compared to the standard 20-inch alloys.

It was registered back in 2004 and the sole owner was one of the 116 people who own such a beauty in UK. Furthermore, this is the first race-inspired Ferrari since the F40 and F50 models. Something more, based, on the 360 Modena, the machine features super massive power output of 420hp via a naturally aspirated and flat plane V8 engine.

    2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stadale

Also, the Stradale received some notable upgrades – there is race-inspired suspension installed, along with one of a kind alloy wheels, carbon-fiber brakes, free-flow air filters and less restrictive exhaust. The engine is mated to an F1 automatic gearbox with titanium shift paddles.

It also weights with 110kg less than the standard model, thanks to the removal of numerous interior elements. At the same time there are some sweet lightweight additions installed such as carbon-fiber mirrors and lightweight bumpers. Further weight reduction is done by installing plexiglass window.

In terms of performance this beauty remains a pure Ferrari machine: sprinting from 0 to 100km/h in mere 4.1 seconds, it can reach a top speed of 281km/h. Sweet!

  • Wheelsandmore takes a closer look at a Ferrari machine. The result is astonishing!

2018 Wheelsandmore Ferrari 812 Superfast Wheelsandmore team has taken a closer look to a rather menacing sporty beast: the 12-cylinder, 800hp Ferrari 812 Superfast. As you might know, Ferrari team has deliberately designed the 812 with restrained exhaust system in order to deliver sporty character, but also a comfortable and casual everyday drive. Not many manucacturers can achieve such a ballance.

    2018 Wheelsandmore Ferrari 812 Superfast

However, Wheelsandmore team has managed to add a kick to the overall output and sporty character of the machine without harming the casual driving mode. First, there was a handmade valve flap exhaust system added, which was created in collaboration with Kline team. If you don’t know who they are, these boys are the kings of exclusive exhaust system manufacturing. The results are pretty apparent: more aggressive sound and a neat kick of 20horsepower and 15Nm of torque. Sweet.

Furthermore, Wheelsandmore have added two sets of tires for the 812 Superfast. This second set of tires also features central lock application and directional wheel centers for left and right installation. Both sets are with these dimensions: Front axle: 10,0×21 with 275/30/21 P Zero tires by Pirelli; Rear axle: 12,0×21 with 325/30/21 Pirelli tires or with 12,5×22 inch rims and 335/25/22 tires.

  • Ferrari Unveil Their Most Powerful Supercar to Date

2017 Ferrari 812 SuperfastFerrari has never failed to impress over the years, but the new 812 Superfast could have just set the bar even higher.  The new 12-cyclinder engine is able to produce an output of 800 CV (8,500 RPM) which exceeds what the original F12 Berlinetta was capable of.

To achieve this, engineers at Ferrari had to work on increasing the amount of air that could be drawn into the engine and this has helped build a much more efficient engine.  Aerodynamics was also a major focus when designing the 812 Superfast. Without question, these changes have clearly paid off in terms of the car’s performance statistics.  With a top speed of 340kph and the ability to reach 0-100kph in only 2.9 seconds, this is quite unbelievable considering that the 812 Superfast does not look like some ‘zooped up’ racing car. Just making a machine of this nature road legal is an achievement in itself.

One of the more interesting features, in fact, is the new electric powered steering system which has again, helped to improve the overall driving experience. More specifically, the new steering system allows for greater agility on the road and a quicker response time to steering wheel movements.

SEE ALSO: Here we go again: Lotus presents “The Best Elise So Far!” Check it out!

In terms of exterior design, the 812 Superfast looks simply magnificent.  Ferrari has been able create a more elegant shape but at the same time has been successful in retaining that imposing look which Ferrari has always had. With the V12 engine positioned at the front, this has given the car a beautifully elongated bonnet, much like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Ferrari California. The extra focus on aerodynamics has also created more muscular wheel arches, only adding to its dominating presence on the road.

    2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast

The 812 superfast made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland and is said to have stolen the show at this year’s event.  There have been, however, a few comments about the name of the model with some people saying the name sounds slightly childish, but this is unlikely to stop the 812 Superfast from being another success story in Ferrari’s books.  Already, the car is in high demand from those who can afford the hefty price tag of £241,000.

There is something particular that we like about this project. It is indeed that the design team has managed to keep the presence of the Ferrari as close to the original as possible and at the same time manages to boost that hidden aggressiveness and super-sportiness. And as any other premium brand, Capriso Automotive has showcased perfection in the small details: they are as expressive as the whole exterior body language. Definitely an eye-catcher. There is also something else: the blue color. Usually it is sort of a must for a Ferrari to bear a passionate red finish, but this one is different. And it is also beautiful. Definitely.

  • The new Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T: It still fascinates us!

2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso TLet’s talk about the new Ferrari model, shall we? It was recently unveiled and as it seems, this is far more confident step, than we supposed, due to the success of the predecessor GTC4Lusso. Yes, we are talking about the fresh and beautiful GTC4Lusso T: this is brand’s first four-seater machine with a V8 engine.  Sharing the language of the recently unveiled Ferrari Grand Touring Concept, the new model has a lot to show to buyers and Ferrari enthusiasts. So, let’s see why the GTCLusso T impressed so many people ever since the unveiling.

    Exterior styling

    2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso T

Needless to say, just like any other Ferrari vehicle, this one is simply beautiful. Elegant and beautiful. The front end strikes with its sleek and elegant lines and the massive proportions. It is clean and showcases a rather menacing face: long headlights and somehow mystical smile via the radiator grille that keeps you on the edge.

The sides share the same concept idea: we see smooth curves and elegant lines. Also, the air intaker contributes to some more aggressive and sporty appearance. And definitely the wheels are not just placed to support the tires: these are 20-inch model exclusive wheels with one of a kind appearance.

And the rear? Tight and compact. And makes full contrast with the large and expressive front-end. It contains numerous details and still manages to express this sporty, yet elegant appearance. We see somehow usually simple taillight design, straightforward lines and four exhaust pipes, placed each on every side of the back. Not bad. Not bad at all, but it is also not that interesting and appealing as we expected it to be. However, it is still part of a Ferrari vehicle.

    Interior design

    2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso T

GTC4Lusso T comes with Dual Cockpit architecture that is both beautiful and functional. Especially created to enhance the sporty feeling, the cabin also incorporates cutting-edge technologies and high-quality components. The feeling of dynamics and sportiness is further enhanced by the numerous carbon-fiber components: the sporty steering wheel, dashboard, central console, door panels and inserts. The seats are covered in high quality black leather and feature neat red stripes that contribute to the coziness and comfort. Definitely driver-oriented, the whole architecture of the cabin expresses Ferrari’s passion desire towards perfection and elegance. We definitely like it.

    Drivetrain system

    2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso T

The new GTC4Lusso T is geared with a mighty 3.9-liter V8 turbo unit that produces a total of 602hp (442kW) and peak torque of 760Nm between 3,000 and 5,250rpm. Massive, isn’t it? This output works in perfect harmony with the rear-wheel-drive system and not only offers some super agile performance, but it also saves some weight.

SEE ALSO: 2015 Concours of Elegance Continues to Bring Pleasure for the Eyes of Every Auto Maniac!

In fact, there are numerous changes and additions, compared to the previous Lusso model. This one is far more agile and handles itself better in cornering and also offers some enhanced speed runs. And last, but certainly not least, Ferrari promises that this one is also far more fuel-efficient that all previous models in the lineup. We are not sure about the engine consumption, but we know that this Ferrari is definitely a worth one reviewing!

  • Racing One’s Ferrari is stronger on the race-track with these special LOMA GT COMPETITION rims

LOMA Ferrari 458 Italia GT COMPETITION front view

Ferrari 458 Italia gets on-track support with one-off LOMA wheels

One of the most triumphant Ferrari-teams in the world is Racing One. Besides leaving nothing to chance, in order to always achieve success they also are updating constantly and developing their innate strengths. By the way, Racing One is a serial winner of the VLN Endurance Championship and it is also an organizer of number of track days.

One of their secrets is that the team is counting on the use of forged wheels made by LOMA. Well, it might sound a little bit strange, but here is why this is so important. The latest developed forged wheel by LOMA is called GT COMPETITION. Its benefits are the innovative spokes ergonomic design, which allows mechanics to change the wheels even faster during critical pit stops. In addition, another advantage is that the spokes fit perfectly into the hand, thus delivering safer and quicker wheel change.

SEE ALSO: LOMA and its Ferrari F12 Berlinetta: Beauty Comes in Simple Modifications

Not to mention that they are also light in weight. This is absolutely necessary for the competitive capabilities of the car. An interesting fact is that this particular rim type was designed and tested specifically for the Ferrari for about two years. The goal was to achieve incomparable result.

LOMA Ferrari 458 Italia GT COMPETITION side view

Since they are only used as racing rims, LOMA GT COMPETITION are totally custom and they are not mass produced, so you can’t buy them in the local shop. What is more, the offsets can be produced as needed, so that they can enhance the track of a vehicle, while the tire pressure can be aligned with high precision, thus allowing more constant performance.

LOMA is currently offering the GT COMPETITION racing rim in 18- or 19-inch size for all Ferrari 458 of the GT-class and for the Ferrari Challenge models.
