Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Beautified by SR Auto Group

SR Auto Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Side View The New Prince is the nick name of this Mercedes-Benz AMG GT tuned by the specialists at the Canadian studio SR Auto Group. The car looks amazing even without modifications, but in sake of individuality this car has received some minor updates. And we do not want to see more, since this AMG GT has it all.

Considered the “angrier and younger brother” of the Mercedes-Benz SLS, the AMG GT was one of the most awaited and definitely satisfying introductions this year. The car features many benefits, but it is the most impressive in its performance figures and engine capabilities.

Speaking of which, the production variant of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT comes equipped with the newly-developed AMG 4.0-litre V8 engine connected to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission. In this configuration, the car is capable of producing 462 hp (340 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The production AMG GT also reaches a top speed of 304 kmph and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. When going 0-200 kmph the car needs 11.5 seconds.

The main focus of the tuning team therefore was on suspension and wheels, since they decided that the Mercedes got everything that it needs in terms of power and felt the body itself was styled perfectly from the factory.

The first thing was to add new suspension parameters. This has happened with the help of directly from H&R, which made sure that the Mercedes receive a new set of lowering springs. From there on, the specialists fitted the car with a set of double staggered two piece PUR 4OUR.M2 alloys.

They come in a special finish called Matte Anthracite but also have a gloss black inner barrel and monaco gold hardware. If you wonder about their size, well it is 9×20-inch at the front and 12×21-inch at the rear. Simple things make everything more stylish and beautiful, don’t they?

The Stronger the Better: Meet VAETH Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

VAETH Mrcedes-Benz C63 AMG This is VAETH Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. It has more power, better performance, enhanced looks. In other words it is absolutely adorable. With a stock horses up to 511 hp (376 kW), this car was lucky enough to get blessed by the V63S tuning kit that has it all. By all I mean the engine electronics, top speed unlocking and VAETH oil cooling installation.

After the V63S the four liters capacity of the powerful engine can boast up to 609 hp (448 kW) and 810 Nm (598 lb-ft) of torque. The Vmax has been too raised: from 300 to 320 kmph (from 186 to 199 mph). If this isn’t enough, VAETH can optimize your turbochargers and down pipe, releasing from 660 to 680 horsepower.

That amount of additional power requires brake optimization via steel flex tubes, vehicle type approval and Castrol SRF racing brake fluid. There is a lowering performed with the help of lowering springs and coilovers that bring the car 15…40 mm closer to the ground.

To look even tougher onto the ground, the car has been equipped with 20-inch wheels in silver or black, which has been fitted with tires sized 255/30ZR20 at the front and 275/30ZR20 at the rear. Besides speedometer extension to 360 kmph, the car is also fitted with aluminum pedal set and black velour foot mats with silver VAETH logo.

Design

The visually stunning vehicle fascinates with numerous known and numerous unknown to this moment features. As the high-sheen chrome at the front, sides an rear, large central Mercedes star, the “twin blade” radiator grille and numerous more.

And the most interesting part, the foldable top also has a lot to demonstrate. First of all, in closed position the multi-layered soft top has that sweet design and perfectly matches the silhouette of the vehicle. Available in black, dark blue, beige and dark red, it can be electro-hydraulically opened and closed while on the more up to 50 km/h. It folds and unfolds for the good 17 seconds and is especially designed to save luggage space.

Drivetrain system

The beauty is geared with special power unit that produces a total of 630 hp (463 kW) and maximum torque of 1000 (one thousand!) Nm. via its 12 cylinders and electronically fine-tuned engine. It is paired to a special AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission that distributes power to the rear axle. It is a special 7-speed automatic engineering wonder that offers a choice of three individual modes: Controlled Efficiency, Sport and Manual. This combination allows the vehicle to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and with this impressive start it can chase the electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (138mph).

Furthermore, the special AMG 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine offers biturbocharging, aluminum crankcase, forged crankshaft in high-grade alloy steel, multi-spark ignition with 12 twin-spark ignition units, air-to-water intercooler with low temperature circuit and alternator management.

Powerful, stylish and capable of conquering every heart. This is what I call a good Mercedes-AMG vehicle.

Performmaster Redefines Pure “E-nergy” with Custom Mercedes E63 AMG

Performmaster Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Side View Mercedes E63 AMG is definitely a car, which shows a lot of power, potential and performance capabilities, even without anyone working on it. However, it is also one of the most favorite cars of tuning companies. The newest example is Performmaster’s variant of E63 AMG, which has received a special treatment for its engine. As the tuning company says: it redefines pure “E-nergy”. And this perfectly describes the “E” letter of car’s name, because in physics it stands for energy (in case you wonder).

By the way, the latest Mercedes E63 AMG has certainly a lot to offer. It produces 557 hp (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) in both the Limo and the T-model. Even more, the factory S version pumps out 585 hp (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

The PEC Tuning-Module

The Comparison

If we have to compare the new performance numbers with those of the production car, then I will make the math for you and immediately tell you that this is an increase of 145 hp (106 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). But this is not all. The tuners decided to ‘add’ to the top speed too. The PEC Tuning-Module’s USP is the fully integrated V-max neutralization, thus raising the Vmax from 250 to 320 km/h.

In other words, this car will take you where only super sports cars could go.

This Custom Mercedes CLA45 is a Real Turbo Sapphire

Loewenstein Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is also popular under another name, which is the SAPHIR LM45-410 Turbo. The car has been customized and now features extensive wide body kit and enhancement for its engine. CLA is actually one of the newest additions in Mercedes line up of vehicles, which has powerful characteristics and in fact is capable of stock 360 hp (265 kW) and a maximum torque of 450 Nm (333 lb-ft). These numbers make the engine driving the CLA the most powerful cylinder unit worldwide.

Power Uprating

Loewenstein were impatient to do more for the CLA and therefore they have created a Plug&Play system, which is fully reversible in less than 1 hour work. The module helps the powertrain produce 410 HP (305 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. But there is more, precisely: in-house made downpipe with sport catalytic converter and a full carbon fiber engine hood with integrated induction air-intake with sport air filters. As a result, the peak performance jumps to 425 hp (313 kW) and maximum torque of 540 Nm (399 lb-ft).

Optical Refinement

Besides the engine modification, Loewenstein gave the CLA an optical refinement with carbon fiber aerodynamic program, which includes the following details. First, the widebody is made of the lightweight carbon fiber. There is a 20 mm widening per side on the front axle, which is completed with a carbon fiber RS front spoiler. At the rear we see a huge tail with its 40 mm widening per side, which is further highlighted with a three piece carbon fiber trunk spoiler. Carbon RS rear diffuser and the milled design exhaust end tips are rounding out the optical modifications here.

CONCAVE wheels in sizes 8.5×20 and 10×20 inches at the front and rear were coupled with slip-proof Michelin Pilot Super Sport high-performance tires of the dimensions 245/35 ZR20 on the front axle and 285/30 ZR20 on the rear axle. And therefore they perfectly fill out the enlarged wheel arches.

Loewenstein did do something special for the interior. The passenger compartment now features a lot of carbon fiber on the steering wheel, the door decorative strips and the dashboard appliances, including the middle console. Floor mats and baggage compartment protectors were also added and they were made of soft velour, and they basically round out the extensive tuning program for the CLA.

Mercedes-AMG Celebrates F1 with A45 4MATIC Champions Edition

Mercedes-AMG A45 4MATIC Champions Edition is a very special vehicle, which celebrates the victory in the constructors’ world championship as well as the drivers’ championship included in the motorsport’s champion’s league this year. It actually marks the end of the season and this is why it blends the expressive Formula 1 look of the victorious Silver Arrows with extensive and abundant equipment.

This means that every owner will literally take a part of the Formula 1 success from the race track to the road.

In details, the foiling includes the iconic petrol green and black highlights of the design of the winning F1 W06 HYBRID super model. In addition, the Champions Edition also received a streamlining package. At the front it includes a larger splitter and special flics, while the rear was enhanced with an extra roof spoiler. There are three paintworks available for this edition and they include mountain grey metallic, designo mountain grey magno and polar silver metallic.

Other equipment features include Night package, the AMG Performance seats, the AMG Exclusive package and the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package.

Interior Inspired by Motorsport

Performmaster Mercedes-AMG C63 (S) Receives Significant Power Uprating

Performmaster Mercedes-AMG C63 is the second tuning that we have chosen for you today. It again features the famed German brand, but this time under the spotlight is the sportier AMG C63 model. The main changes here have been done with the aim to achieve more power for the athlete.

To be more precise, Performmaster has created a PEC tuning module for the C63 and C63 S AMG models. After the tuning, these cars show significant power update of up to 612 hp (450 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) of torque. Of course, this helps shorten the acceleration time from 0 to 100 kph from 4.1 seconds to 3.8 and from 0 to 200 kph from 12.7 to 11.4.

If you take a look of the standard numbers, where the AMG C 63 scores 476 hp (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft), and the AMG C63 S (510 hp (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), this means that the uprating is more than additional 28% hp and 29% Newton meters.

In addition, the serial top speed of both models with included Driver’s Package only reaches between 280 and 290 kph. Performmaster has ensured that the Vmax reaches 310 kph.

VÄTH Creates More Powerful Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG

VÄTH Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG Side View VÄTH has chosen the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG for their new project. The experts have basically uprated the engine of the Mercedes and given it some new tweaks regarding aerodynamics and exterior. And everything has been done for the sake of faster speed, more qualitative ride and better driving dynamics. Here are the details:

Engine Uprating

Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG’s 1,991 cm³engine produces 360 HP (265 kW) as a standard. After the tuning it can proudly show-off with 395 HP (290 kW) of power and 485 Nm (358 lb-ft) of torque. The top speed has been raised to 280 kmph (174 mph).

So far so good, but if you are not satisfied with these numbers, then you should also know that the tuning company is offering power uprating kit called V45RS. If you buy it, then your GLA will generate no less than 446 HP (328 kW) of power and 539 Nm (398 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

Exhaust and More

Additional power is delivered by the VA stainless steel down pipe device 270 EVO with 200 cells trimetal cat as well as the VA stainless steel made valve controlled axle back exhaust system. Furthermore, the GLA 45 AMG also received lowering by 30 mm thanks to the addition of sportive lowering springs.

The brakes were optimized with steel flex tubes, SRF racing brake fluid and the obligatory vehicle type. Of course, more the power better the wheels. Precisely, the standard ones were substituted with 20-inch VÄTH black, high gloss alloys.

Also interesting combination that affects the drivetrain system is the 4MATIC permanent AWD system and the 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission. This blend offers high shift speed and gentle and comfortable ride. Furthermore, the AIRMATIC pack includes an air suspension and adaptive damping system. Now imagine how smooth the ride would be. Sweet, huh?

Design

The sporty exterior lines match perfectly with the chromed twin tailpipe trims and the black high-sheen 20-inch light alloy wheels. Generally, the vehicle looks clean, without any redundant details and definitely stylish. This is a Mercedes-Benz vehicle after all.

WIMMER Rennsporttechnik and the Mighty Mercedes-AMG C63 S

WIMMER RST Mercedes-AMG C63 S Front View Mercedes-AMG C63 S is once again featured in our news today. The first time we have seen its horses boosted with 100 hp by PP-Performance. Now, the car in its touring variant has been customized by the experts at WIMMER Rennsporttechnik, who did not only uprated its horsepower but also added some tweaks here and there.

Software Optimization

If you have read the previous article, then you should also know that the Mercedes-AMG C63 S comes with stocks 510 HP (375 kW) and 700Nm (517 lb-ft) of maximum torque. WIMMER RST decided to do a software optimization and added some helpful equipment, thus achieving a total power of 640 HP (471 kW).

And this s far better (+130HP) than the additional 100HP that PP-Performance has added to their variant of the C63 S.

New sports exhaust system has been also added. Here, the sports cat and Y-pipe as well as the electronic valve command are optional. Besides full sportive sound, there is also a power uprating included. How cool is that!

New wheels are a prerequisite for the extra power. Hence, the tuners decided to equip this Mercedes with BBS type CH rims of the dimension of 19 inches. They were then matched with suitable sport tires. In addition, KW delivered brand new coilovers, ensuring speedily cornering and perfect road holding.
