2018 Lexus RX L Lexus has revealed the RX L and there have been numerous kinds of reactions and we decided to contribute to the world of motorsport by sharing our own opinion. We should start by saying that this seven-seater focuses on small details and utility features. Of course, buyers will get a comprehensive and advanced drivetrain system, but this time Lexus team has managed to impress us by adding tons of features and handy goodies.

In terms of exterior design, this is a pure Lexus machine – all the well-known curves and lines are present, but this time are accented by fresh ideas and contemporary design solutions. For example, the vehicle is a bit longer and wider than its predecessors and features neat presence and stance.

However, what has managed to impress us the most is the interior styling concept. Yes, it is a conventional interior space, dedicated to serve to a premium vehicle, but when one looks closer, it reveals way many more stuff. Let’s start with the two extra seats, the generous knee and headroom space and the ample space for luggage.

Furthermore, the seats are finished in high-quality materials, as the rest of the cabin and offer pleasurable and safe ride – and the best of all is that it all takes a single car to go for a ride with friends. If it is as voluminous as the RX L. And something more – the thing that has managed to impress us the most is the overall cabin design. Audi reveals the latest A6 Avant machine

2018 Audi A6 Avant Avant represents Audi’s dedication to elegance and technological advancement. Definitely an impressive new addition to the lineup, this guy surely has a lot to demonstrate. It is both athletic and sexy and features tons of goodies that are worth mentioning. So, without more hesitation we will see what this bad boy is all about.

It is definitely an Audi vehicle. With its sharp lines and large surfaces the new A6 Avant catches the eye of both fans and sceptics. It comes with a wider and refreshed front grille, revised blisters and trapezoidal window shapes. Furthermore, the muscular roofline flows in a low-profile D-pillar and accents the sporty spirit of the machine. At the same time the rear showcases a decorative trim that links the lights. Sweet.

The cabin features a minimalistic approach – there isn’t anything, but the necessary. The thing that catches the eye the most is the black panel surface with MMI touch response display. Jaguar reveals the I-TYPE 3 ahead of its global debut

2018 Jaguar I-Type 3 Panasonic Jaguar Racing has unveiled the concept livery for the incredible Jaguar I-TYPE 3. This is the Gen 2 race car that would compete in season five at the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. Marking one more historic moment for the manufacturer, the British team continues its mission for innovation and refinement.

The vehicle itself, Gen 2 race car features bold and futuristic design and marks a big step forward in terms of technology and refinement. It delivers a total of 335hp (250kW) and improved battery technology that would allow more dynamics and performance-oriented track behavior. The I-TYPE 3 also features an LED Halo – it is much needed after the new FIA regulations that make the presence of such stuff mandatory.

The whole concept and all the changes that are present with this latest edition are much needed – we should remind you that Panasonic Jaguar Racing will be competing with some of the most menacing rivals in the series. So, we do not expect anything but impeccable performance by the whole team and of course, the machine itself.

Hyudai wins a prestigious prize at the Red Dot Award show

2018 Hyundai NEXO Hyundai Motor has earned two prestigious awards at this year’s Red Dot Design Awards show. As you might know, this is one of the most renowned design and innovation prizes that a car manufacturer can take home. And given that Hyundai team has done a lot in contribution to the world of motorsport, it is no wonder that the recognition is at hand.

In order to deserve such an award, competitors should present a product with exceptional functionality, durability, level of innovation and overall quality. And guess what? NEXO, Hyundai’s second-gen fuel cell electric vehicle has managed to catch examiners’ attention and eventually has won the prestigious achievement. Furthermore, this hydrogen-powered SUV combines all the things that we love about the SUVs with the tons of advantages of the fuel cell technology.

And as it seems, design seems to play a major role in the event. And it is one of the main reason for customers to switch to Hyundai. In fact, this is the five consecutive year in which the well-known manufacturer marks incredible evolution in terms of looks and design features. This Red Dot Design Award follows some of the most prestigious awards that were given to Hyundai back in 2017, 2015 and 2014.

Volkswagen team reveals new R-Line models!

2018 Volkswagen T-Roc R-Line There are two new VW members in the SUV segment that were just presented: T-Roc compact SUV and the agile Tiguan Allspace seven-seater. Both machines are already available for order and are worth of checking out!

T-Roc R-Line

The first one, the T-Roc features Volkswagen’s 19-inch Suzuka alloys, wrapped by low-rolling resistance tires, sporty suspension, body-colored roof spoilers and revised front and rear bumpers, black steering wheel arch extensions and body-colored side skirts. Sweet.

The inside features black roof lining, dark grey decorative inserts in dash and door panels, new front illumination, front LED reading lights, Carbon Flag upholstery and R-Line goodies as badges, floor mats and steering wheel.

In terms of drivetrain system, T-Roc R-Line comes with four combinations between engine and gearbox system: a trustworthy 1.5 TSI EVO 150 PS unit paired to either 6-speed manual, or 7-speed automatic DSG transmission and a bit more powerful 2.0 TSI 190 PS 4MOTION unit, mated to a 7-speed DSG system. The last option is a 2.0 TDI 150 PS engine, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Tiguan Allspace R-Line

Massive and confident, the new seven-seater features tons of exclusive features. For example, new 20-inch Suzuka alloy wheels, R-Line sporty suspension, body-colored roof spoiler, Piano Black front air intakers and R-Line styling pack. The cabin comes with R-Line aluminum decorative inserts, black roof lining, leather trimmed there-spoke multifunction steering wheel with aluminum inserts and R-Line badges.

Tiguan Allspace R-Line also features more drivetrain combinations, compared to the T-Roc sibling. What is notable about all the options is that the 2.0 TDI 150PS is always present – it is only mated to different type of gearbox system. There is this 6-speed manual, 7-speed DSG, 4MOTION 6-speed manual and 4MOTION 7-speed DSG.

Toyota has revealed the new RAV4 Hybrid: is it any good?

2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Toyota RAV4 has made its global debut at the New York International Auto Show and since this glorious day the brand has confidently secured its positions as one of the leader in new technologies and engineering solutions. And it is no wonder why such a machine has caught the eye of both enthusiasts and sceptics: RAV4 comes with incredibly sexy design and heavily revised and refined drivetrain system. So, let’s check out more, shall we?

The machine is definitely expressive and contemporary looking. It is a bit higher and wider than predecessors and feature straightforward lines and almost no curves – this styling concept contributes to an overall aggressive and sporty appearance. There are some slight reductions made on the front and rear overhangs and a bit of additions: the wheelbase is wider with 30mm, compared to the previous model. In fact, the machine is so widened that the interior allows placement of foldable rear seats doable load floor and deck side nets. Or, in other words, there is plenty of headroom in the cabin and everyone should feel just fine is such a premium SUV.

The new RAV4 comes with TNGA engines that are both efficient and agile. There is also a completely new unit – a 2.5-liter electric engine that delivers just the right amount of power and features great responsiveness rates. Of course, hybrid is the keyword, as it comes to the whole RAV lineup. There is also a new 2.0-liter petrol engine that can be further paired with manual or automatic gearbox.

Also, just for the hybrid version, Toyota team has developed second electric motor that would give power to the rear wheels and therefore enhance a large amount of torque output. Sweet. For the 2.0-liter petrol model there are mechanical AWD system incorporated and a twin coupling and rear disconnect features on the automatic gearbox system.

Lexus reveals an updated version of the versatile LX 400d SUV

2018 Lexus LX 400d In order to bring more refinement and power, Lexus team gears the luxury off-road LX with a V8 power unit. This means that the LX 400d now features the titanic 650Nm from mere 1600rpm and relatively low fuel consumption: 9.5liters per 100 kilometers. Not bad for a premium off-road beast, right? More precisely, this is a 4.5-liter twin-turbo direct-injection engine with 360 horsepower.

This five seater also comes with pedestrian detection, 10 airbags and six-speed sequential-shift gearbox as part of the standard equipment. Buyers will also enjoy new 20-inch alloys, revised LED headlamps and tons of cutting-edge technologies. Just to name a few – the five-mode drive mode select, variable gear-ratio steering, adaptive variable suspension and more.

The inside welcomes everyone to a rather cozy place: Lexus LX 400d features 12.3-inch high-definition screen, satellite navigation and four-zone climate control. There is also a premium audio system with nine speakers and seven channels with dedicated digital sound processing. And the thing that would impress everyone is the steering wheel: it is a three spoke wheel, covered in high-quality leather and shimamoku-woodgrain rim. It also features paddle shifters for quick and precise speed shifts. Heated front seats for both rows are also part of the standard equipment. These also come with full leather upholstery and wireless phone charger, cool box and rear-door shades. Sweet.

Here’s how 2018 Mazda CX-3 managed to impress us!

2018 Mazda CX-3 Mazda showcases its latest CX-3 model and we should say that we are impressed by what the brand aims for. Featuring a well-known KODO design and SKYACTIV engine system. Of course, engineering team hasn’t forgotten the ACTIVESENSE suite for safety features – with all these together the 2018 CX-3 definitely has caught the eye of both fans and sceptics.

If you are familiar with the model, you already know that this is the second update of the vehicle since 2015. However, this time Mazda focuses on utility technologies and driver and passenger comfort. On the flip side the exterior remains almost the same – CX-3 features a refreshed grille, new exclusive Soul Red Crystal finish and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The interior features new central armrest, an electronic parking brake and of course, this extensive i-ACTIVSENCE safety suite. Sweet.

In terms of drivetrain system, SKYACTIV-D diesel power unit is the chosen one for the new CX-3 machine. It was heavily revised and now covers the latest EURO 6d-Temp standard, including the real-drive emission test. Furthermore, it features lower combustion temperature that ensures lower NOXraw emissions. It is achieved by adding a special NOx storage catalyst that reduces the remaining nitrogen oxide components. Sweet.

2018 Kahn Design Range Rover 4.4 Autobiography Pace Car Kahn Design team showcases its latest project: Range Rover 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography Pace Car that embodies sexy outfit and agile drivetrain system. Featuring wider wheel arches, new front bumper and upper roof wing, the machine is definitely more muscular and massive. And given that it comes with revised rear bumpers, created from carbon-fiber and large wheels, the look of a menacing beast is complete. Oh, we forgot to mention the satin black crosshair exhaust outlets.

Hyundai Showcases latest Tucson SUV: it is just unveiled at the New York Show

2018 Hyundai Tucson Audience at the 2018 New York International Auto Show has witnessed the unveiling of the latest Hyundai Tucson – one of brand’s most popular and prominent models. Designed and built in Europe, this compact SUV enters the competition with confidence, tons of features and refined drivetrain system. So, let’s check out some more!

Drivetrain and convenience features

The Tucson can be specified with two diesel and two petrol engines. All of these units are revised and offer more power for the cost of less CO2-emissions. The most powerful one is the 2.0-liter diesel with 186hp. It can be paired to a six-speed manual or the optional eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Customers can also enjoy a convenient and smooth ride, thanks to the SmartSense active safety and driving assistance features. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Speed Limit Indicator Function and more. In terms of safety features there are Surround View Monitor, High Beam Assist and rain-sensing wipers.

VW team showcases Atlas Tanoak Concept at the New York Show

2019 Volkswagen Atlas Tanoak Concept Volkswagen Atlas Tanoak Concept was just revealed at the New York International Auto Show and showcases VW’s pickup, based on the MQB architecture. Geared with a massive power unit and offering tons of utility and technological features, the Tanoak surely has caught the eye of show’s audience.

Named after species of tree that grows in Pacific Coast in US, Atlas Concept is one large vehicle: 214.1 inches long and 79.9 inches wide and 72.6 inches tall, this is one of the largest Atlas pickups released – it is even longer than the seven-sea model.

The Tanoak concept is 214.1 inches long, some 15.8 inches longer than the Atlas, which makes it a large midsize pickup by U.S. standards. The concept vehicle is 79.9 inches wide and 72.6 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 128.3 inches, 11 inches longer than the Atlas seven-seater.

Apparently based on previous SUVs in the lineup, Tanoak resembles much of his predecessors in terms of styling and appearance. However, there are some feature that make it stand out from all previous Atlas machines. For example, the front face is a bit more rugged and showcases revised headlights and new kind of bumper. Additional changes include raised engine hood, rugged underbody protection and new carabiner.

The cabin is spacious. And definitely adopts that sporty spirit. However, it is not uncomfortable or way too “Spartan-ish”. Instruments, central console and the multifunctional steering wheel are revised and do not have much in common with older Tanoak models. Most of the functions are now controlled digitally and thanks to the large touchscreen multimedia device everything is executed easily and without any complex actions or demanding combination of buttons and switches.

Atlas Tanoak Concept features Volkswagen’s trustworthy 3.6-liter V6 power unit, capable of producing 276 horsepower and 266lb-ft of torque. In fact, this very same AWD system features selectable on- and off-road modes that can enhance stability and control over dry, wet, slick and unpaved surfaces.

Jaguar F-PACE SVR showcases refinement and agility. It is worth the check out!

2019 Jaguar F-PACE SVR The F-PACE lineup, awarded with numerous prestigious awards, expands the family members with a new model. In Jaguar’s own words, this is by far the most powerful and agile unit they have produced. And given that it is shaped by Special Vehicle Operations team, we tend to believe the team.

In terms of styling, we do see a rather convincing version of the F-PACE machine. It is muscular, confident and elegant. Surely, Jaguar team hasn’t disappointed. There are some aerodynamic changes here and there – the team has installed larger air intakers at the front and side fenders, new and exclusive SVR bonnet, fresh rear spoiler and a new rear bumper. Cool.

The F-PACE SVR also comes with Variable Valve Active Exhaust System. It not only provides brutal roar, but also enhances the overall performance rates of the vehicle: it contributes to better gas flow and makes the SUV way more agile. Also, this is the first F-PACE machine to include Jaguar’s Electronic Active Differential system and a new AWD mechanics, thanks to the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics control technology.

And as we have expected from a vehicle of this class, the F-PACE SVR features advanced utility technologies to ensure confident and supreme all-terrain performance. The new AWD technology incorporates Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, All Surface Progress Control and Adaptive Surface Response. Sweet.
