Toyota presents sportier and more agile Corolla Hybrid

2018 Toyota Corolla Hybrid Toyota presents next-gen Corolla hatch with additional drivetrain upgrades and sportier overall performance. Thanks to the 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol unit, the vehicle is capable of producing a total of 125kW and peak torque of 200Nm. Sweet.

Furthermore, this power unit is mated to an intelligent manual gearbox that offers shorter gear shifts and improved fuel efficiency. Sweet. And the coolest thing of all – it comes with paddle shifters and a dedicated sport mode.

Additional drivetrain goodies include the well-known Toyota New Global Architecture platform that ensures low centre of gravity, improved front-to-rear weight balance and more rigid body. What would also please fans is that the new range will be offered with additional hybrid system variants across all trim levels. Toyota has already revealed the 1.8-liter Atkinson Cycle power unit for Prius and as expected, it would be a rival to other electric drive systems.

Mclaren reveals new 570S Spider Design Edition models

2018 McLaren 570S Spider Design Edition McLaren team offers new Design Edition machines that honor the mighty 570S Spider model. For those who are not aware of what is happening here, the 570S Spider is one of the most advanced and refined vehicles ever produced. And something more, this is a machine that has managed to win all awards on different stages in all different categories. This is what we call a job well-done.

The Design Editions are already available for ordering and each one can be specified with features, trim options and colors. However, what has caught our eye are the five units that were created especially for the McLaren Sports Series that follow the success of the Design edition of the 570S Coupe. And just like its sibling, the 570S Spider Design Edition features additional goodies that can be specified outside the standard equipment pack.

Each single of these five vehicles comes with a different body color finish – Silica White, Storm Grey, Vermillion Red, Onyx Black and Vega Blue. Furthermore, cabins of each vehicle match the exterior color scheme and come with numerous luxurious components. There are also exclusive wheel finish, brake caliper color and special branding. A new six wheeler by Kahn? Yes, please!

2018 Kahn Design Land Rover Defender Flying Huntsman 6x6 Double Cab Pick Up Kahn design presents the Flying Huntsman 6×6 Defender Double Cab Pick Up – a large five-seater, designed for off-road challenges. It is based on the classic Defender model and features stunning design and drivetrain upgrades. In fact, it is one of the few Defender prototypes that is fitted with additional axle. Sweet!

The mighty machine comes with heavy-duty chassis, revised suspension system and braking system. And of course, it produces massive amounts of power output in order to be able to give spark to the two additional wheels. The engine is a 430hp GM V8 unit and is paired to a GM six-speed automatic gearbox. Furthermore, the massive power is optimized by stainless steel exhaust system.

In terms of exterior styling, the mighty Defender is fitted with widened front and rear wings, new vents and bolt apertures, along with X-Lander front grille. There are also front sump guard and front bumper replacements with Shadow Chrome headlights. With other words, the machine looks beautiful and super aggressive. Which is nice.

On the other hand, the interior is re-upholstered and features new roof headlining, new steering wheel design, passenger dashboard top and grab handle, door handles, central glove box and vented foot pedals. It looks comfortable and utilized for pleasurable and rewarding driving experience. Sweet.

Lexus presents the LS F Sport model

2018 Lexus ES F Sport Lexus has managed to impress us with the ES lineup. In fact, it has achieved massive positive feedback since the first model that was launched some years ago. And for all these years the engineers and designers have continued to improve and refine the model. Now we see the seventh generation of ES machine that combines both comfort, refinement and agility.

The latest ES is built on the recently-announced Global Architecture-K (GA-K) platform which gives the ride the opportunity to explore the limits of a mid-size luxury saloon. This vehicle is loner, lower and wider than the predecessor and features new design look and overall confident and sporty appearance.

ES proudly showcases a roofline that emphasizes on the lower stance, while the rear-end features clear and straightforward design concept with new LED lamp design and new rear spoiler. Additional goodies include badging, dark lower valance and a choice of 17-inch and 18-inch wheel design. For the exclusive F-Sport version there are 19-inch wheels that are similar in appearance to the Lexus LC coupe.

The cabin is definitely wider and more voluminous, compared to older models and feature driver-focused design and comfortable area for all passengers. There is new central display screen and revised instrument panel. Also, a new 12.3-inch multimedia display and second-gen Remote Touch touchpad control. In order to achieve modern and sexy design, the team has used a new kind of metallic cabin trim and special Japanese sword-making technique, known as Hadori that adds wave patterns and create a 3-D look and feel inside the cabin.

The engineering team reached a single goal, as it comes to drivetrain system: transforming the whole experience and taking it to the next level. It was achieved by revising the possibilities that the GA-K platform features. There is a new multi-link rear suspension design, rack-mounted electric power steering system and V-brace behind the rear seats. ES 300h comes with a new generation of self-charging hybrid drive system that delivers a total of 215hp and the fuel efficiency is measured at 60.1mpg. Sweet.

Toyota marks Hilux anniversary with new models

2018 Toyota Hilux Invincible X Hilux marks its 50^th birthday and Toyota team decided to celebrate the occasion with showcasing two new versions of the legendary pickup. Both machines were announced at the Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham today and as it seems, the one will be a top-range model, named Invincible X, while the second is a limited edition that would feature merely 150 units.

The first one, the Invincible X stands out from the rest of the lineup with its new grille with glossy inserts and revised chrome frame. Additionally, the engineering team has included new bumper, fog lights and silver under-run. Sweet.

In terms of interior, the vehicle features all-black color theme with contrasting chrome components as the instrument panel trim and piano black inserts on the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel and gear shift lever. Also, as part of the standard equipment Toyota has included Toyota Safety Sense with Pre-Collision System Lane Departure Warning and Road Sign Assist, Toyota Touch 2 with Go Multimedia and many more.

Invincible X is geared with an agile 148hp 2.4-liter D-4D power unit, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. We personally are not quite sure about this one, but it seems that Toyota team knows how it’s done.

And for all these that such a vehicle is simply not enough, Toyota offers an even more refined option – the Limited Edition model. It comes with exclusive Scorchead Orange and Nebula Blue. Furthermore, the limited machine features additional black exterior components, black 18-inch alloys, side steps and high-over bar.

Z-Performance team strikes again! This time a lucky M5 benefits.

2018 Z-Performance BMW M5 G30 BMW has recently unveiled the latest 5 series and one more time the world of motorsport has been astonished by the achievement of the premium Bavarian manufacturer. Both the G30 sedan and G31 touring concept showcase dynamic appearance, incredible drivetrain system features and tons of utility gadgets. However, Z-Performance team has managed to give us even more – the premium tuner studio showcases how an excellent vehicle can turn into something more. Let’s see what’s going on here, shall we?

The G30 sedan displays numerous carbon-fiber components and accessories – starting from the front spoiler and flaps, through the side mirrors and through the rear spoiler and rear diffuser. Furthermore, the grille and side skirts attachment in glossy black finish contribute to the sleek and sporty appearance. Sweet.

However, what has managed to impress us the most are the wheels: the machine features ZP FORGED 2 Super Deep Concave wheels with filigree, matte black double-spoke center these bad boys do contribute to the muscular and aggressive overall styling. These 9×20-inch ET25 and 10.5×20-inch ET38 high-end rims are wrapped by Continental Sport Contract 6 tires with dimensions of 245/35R20 at the front and 285/30R20 at the back. Also, these visual updates are backed by an extra-low KW V3 coilover suspension. Neat!

G-POWER showcases yet another M2 project

2018 G-POWER BMW M2 F87 Recently, BMW has showcased the latest M2 machine with a total of 410hp and additional features that move it closer to its bigger sibling, the M4. However, the bad news is that people have to wait more until the vehicle can be ordered. But the good news is that the nice people at G-POWER in Aresing, Upper Bavaria have already come up with an alternative. Let’s check it out!

The well-known tuner has always aimed to make the M2 lineup even more appealing and for the 35 years we must admit that the studio has been showing some of the most advanced and fine projects we have ever seen. For this particular machine, G-POWER team has decided to take a closer look at the turbocharged N55 inline six-cylinder power unit and add some kick to the overall output. This results on a total of 370hp and 500Nm in the overboost mode. Furthermore, the team has geared the M2 with exclusive software and hardware mechanics that aid the exhaust conduction downpipe and the intercooler.

Also, to go along with all these goodies, engineers have added a titanium G-POWER exhaust with dual mode valve system and four carbon-fiber tailpipes, each measured at 90 millimeters in diameter. These, in combination with exclusive G-POWER G2M RS coilovers make not only an aggressive sound, but also contribute to more dynamic and precise handling. Enjoy!

Volvo Cars: here’s one more reason to love ’em!

2018 Volvo CX90 Chances are that you already know that Volvo is known for making one of the safest vehicles in the world. Something more, the team has aimed to create the first vehicle that would be so safe that it would not let occupants receive any kind of damage during collision and unfortunate events.

However, we are still waiting for the game changer. Meanwhile, brand’s usual suspect, XC90, has proved itself worthy in one more statistics – death. There has been not a single death in a car-to-car accident in the UK, according to the Government crash figures.

Launched back in 2002, the XC90 has built its reputation as one of the most prominent vehicles of the brand and also in the whole automobile segment. And since the first editions Volvo has equipped the XC90 with tons of safety features that, fortunately, have saved thousands of people. In fact, this is the first SUV to use the Roll Stability Control system, which measures car’s roll angle in manoeuvres and activates the stability control feature when necessary.

And since these days Volvo hasn’t stopped to improve the XC90 – in 2014 the manufacturer has launched two additional safety features: Run-off Road Protection and automatic emergency braking at junctions. These two tighten the front seatbelts and activate the autonomous braking system when necessary. In fact, Volvo is also the first automobile brand that has included emergency brake system for the first time in an automobile. Cool, right?

And last, but not least, we should mention something really important. Volvo has collected data about crashes and accidents since the 1970s, thanks to the Accident Research Team – a special group of specialists that examine each side of an accident in order to deliver the best solution for preventing it and ensuring safety for driver and passengers.

Mazda vehicles earn prestigious awards at the 2018 DNA Awards

2018 Mazd CX-5 2019 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover and MX-5 Miata have earned top rates at the New York Daily News’ 2018 DNA Awards. And as in any other edition, the audience took part in all ratings and decisions.

In order to choose winners in every single class, models were rated based on how much “DNA” they got from the certain segment. This means that all cars, vehicles, trucks and similar should showcase advanced drivetrain systems, beautiful design concept and innovation, along with the usual core requirements that are mandatory for every contestant.

And in this kind of event Mazda vehicles have managed to catch the eye and impress both critics and fans. This year’s model edition CX-5 continues to build on its predecessors and features new cylinder-deactivation technology that reduces fuel consumption. As it seems, this was the main game changer. Sweet.

Furthermore, Mazda MX-5 Miata has won the “Best Performance Car” award by mixing advanced technologies with pure sporty spirit. The roadster comes with advanced suspension that has been fine-tuned to deliver greater stability and flexibility. Some of the special requirements for the DNA Awards were relatively simple: the vehicle should be priced under $100,000 USD and the model should be on sale by February 1, 2018.

Vilner team revives a special Rolls-Royce. Check it out!

2018 Vilner Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe We do know that Rolls-Royce machines are still the only symbol of luxury and refinement. However, the arch enemy of all that is beautiful and enduring manages to harm even the pinnacle of motorsport industry. Yes, we are talking about time. Time has managed to prove that Rolls-Royce is the king, but has also proven that even kings tend to get rusty and fragile at time to time. And this is why Vilner’s latest project circulates around a 10-year-old Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.

Trying to preserve and revive the wooden inserts and fine-leather covers, Vilner team has done tons of work in the cockpit – tens of square meters of fine leather has found its new place in the cabin, along with small details as stitching and adding more functionality. Now, the new leather cover manages to work better with the heating and ventilating of the seats. Cool!

In fact, the design team has spent the majority of time for the wooden components. Every single wooden part has been unmounted, triple varnished and polished until shiny. And only then it was once again mounted to the cabin. And what has managed to impress us even further is the rear part of the cabin – the place where the folding roof is actually hidden, when not used.

In terms of exterior styling, Vilner’s client has chosen the Cherry burst cover. Part of the 44, 000 combination choices, the owner has decided to retain the vehicle elegant and stylish. And as you think about it, there is something even British in this color scheme. And because of this choice, Vilner has installed Cherry burst seatbelts. Sweet.

One more BMW M2 has undergone through tuning program by N-Performance team

2018 N-Performance BMW M2 BMW M2 remains one of brand’s most flexible and beloved models even to this date. And it is one of the preferred vehicle by tuners and alike all around the globe. And now Alpha-N Performance team decides to tweak the machine one more time. Because tweaking is never enough, right?

The revised BMW M2 comes with massive 370hp in-line six-cylinder combustion power unit and tons of exclusive features. For example, Öhlins suspension and fine-tuned gearbox. All the revised and upgraded parts altogether add a massive kick of 60 horsepower, or in total of 430hp. Also, the engineering team has installed a special exhaust system that confidently handles the overall power output.

In terms of exterior styling, BMW M2 features numerous sporty goodies. There is a special M-Performance grille and M2 GP front spoiler.
