However, the higher trim levels also offer some exclusive additions. For example, Active B&O PLAY features visual changes as black roof with black roof rails, premium audio system with 10 speakers and 360-degree audio technology. Neat. Ford team have decided to rely on the award-winning 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine. It would be offered with four different outputs: 85hp, 100hp, 125hp and the most powerful – 140hp. These units are paired to a new six-speed manual gearbox that contributes to delivering 105g/km CO2 emissions. Further drivetrain system features include high-pressure direct fuel injection, twin-independent variable cam timing and new crankshaft design for refined three-cylinder system workflow.

Honda reveals details for the upcoming Accord Hybrid: this one looks promising!

2018 Honda Accord Hybrid arrives on March, 23^rd and will make everything possible in order to maintain brand’s high positions and popularity in the segment. And given that the team offers class-leading power output, plenty of interior space and tons of utility and comfort features, we are keen to give this vehicle the chance it deserves.

In order to be suitable for wider range of buyers, Accord Hybrid will be offered in a total of five trim levels: Hybrid, EX, EX-L, EX-L Navi and Touring. Each one of these will offer extended list of features and all trim levels will come with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED low beam headlights, dual zone climate control, Smart entry with Push-button Start, 7-inch TFT multimedia display and a multi-angle rearview camera.

In terms of drivetrain system, 2018 Accord is geared with third-generation of Honda’s well-known hybrid power unit that pairs just fine with a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle inline-4 engine. This bad boy delivers a total of 232lb-ft of torque and neat kick of 212 horsepower. What also caught our attention is the fact that the engineering team has also included a system, called Deceleration Selectors. It is similar to the gearbox paddle shifters and what it does is to allow driver to easily toggle between four levels of regenerative braking performance.

However, we all do know that such a machine is not created for fuel efficiency, right?

DTE Systems incorporates a special chip in a lucky Audi A8

2018 DTE Systems Audi A8 One of the most prominent Audi models so far, the A8 machine receives neat tuning by DTE Systems team. Geared with special PowerControl X system, the lucky Audi unit now produces the outstanding 322hp and 669Nm of torque. Let’s find out more, shall we?

What the project is all about is that PowerCotnrol X feature. It is a small unit that is placed directly behind the single-frame grill and is connected to the central sensors of the engine management system. By doing so, DTE team has managed to boost the pressure, camshaft and rail pressure, which results on optimized and dynamically forwarded signal directly to the main control unit.

Furthermore, this PowerControl X can be managed by a smartphone app and it can match each person’s driving profile. This results on convincing road behavior: drivers get more dynamic response and more confident and sporty road experience. And having said that it is exclusive for the A8, this little gadget becomes even more valuable.

We do love such upgrades. They are somehow discrete and yet make a huge difference. And as it seems, even flagship models can benefit from such elegant technology. Being honest here, we did not believe that Audi A8 needs more power and agility. Little did we know about DTE team’s plans.

Lexus showcases Black Line Edition models

2018 Lexus RC Sport Black Edition One of Lexus’ most prominent lineup, the RC coupes has always pushed the boundaries as farther as possible. And to be honest, we have seen incredible Lexus machines from the past few years. And the best of all is that the prestigious brand continues to deliver such advanced technologies and new engineering solutions.

Such fresh new feature is the Black Line upgrade for RC 300 and 350 F SPORT models. It is an upgrade pack that bring both interior and exterior refinements. In terms of exterior, buyers get new matte black wheels, mated with orange or black brake calipers and numerous black chrome accents.

The inside showcases sweet orange stitching that dominates the whole cabin and neat additional coloring for the dashboard, doors and additional places. There is also exclusive wood-trimmed steering wheel with distinctive shades that are especially made by Japanese calligraphy studio that has practiced the art for more than 200 years. Also, all Black Line vehicles are geared with Navigation + Mark Levinson Audio Package, Intuitive Parking Assist, Moonroof and new Triple Beam LED headlamps. How cool is that?

Of course, all Black Line editions feature massive power output – the base RC 300 comes with 2.0-liter four cylinder turbocharged unit, while the rest of the lineup, RC 300 AWD, RC 350 and RC 350 AWD, feature a massive 3.5-liter V6 power unit.

The six-wheeled Civil Carrier is here! Kahn Design is eager to present it!

2018 Kahn Design Land Rover Defender Civil Carrier Chelsea Truck Company reveals plans for building a concept machine, based on the Land Rover Defender 110. Afzal Kahn and his fellow teammates have decided to use conventional techniques, along with cutting edge technologies for this one and as it seems, once again they have made the right choice.

The vehicle itself, named Civilian Carrier, is a bit longer than the usual Defender and it is packed with tons of exclusive features. First of all, it is finished in Volcanic Rock color scheme and showcases new front wings, vents and a revised X-Lander front grille.

At the rear we see fresh new B pillars, LED headlights and all of this topped with a panoramic roof. Cool. And as part of the project, there is added a third axle. In fact, this is the most notable and cooled feature in the project. The additional axle contributes to this super-aggressive appearance and power. Incredible!

As it is apparent, this machine is especially built for rough off-road terrain: this is not only notable by the exterior looks. It is also hidden within the drivetrain system. The Civilian Carrier features hi-lo ratio drive system with locking differentials, rugged heavy duty chassis (of course), and fine-tuned braking system.

McLaren announces details for brand’s most ambitious project to date

2019 McLaren BP23 McLaren has already announced the arrival of the “Hyper-GT” machine. What the team has promised is that this new ride will be the fastest and most powerful yet. It is said that it will be even more agile than the F1 road car. Impressive!

Recently, McLaren Automotive CEO, Mike Flewitt has revealed more details on a special press conference and made a glimpse of what we should expect. What the team would try to do is to deliver both the most powerful, but also the most luxurious McLaren to date. The exclusive vehicle will feature three seats in the cockpit and a central-driving position. Something that is not seen regularly on the street.

Of course, Mr. Flewitt has talked about the drivetrain system – BP23 will feature a petrol-electric hybrid engine that would try to mark the next page in the development of premium high performance engines. And as we are already expecting, it would also be capable of delivering smooth and pleasurable drive, along with the agile sporty features.

Production will start next year and there will be assembled only 106 examples – and each one will undergo further personalization by McLaren Special Operations, McLaren’s division for exclusive customer additions.

VW announces details for 2019 Jetta: here’s what should we expect

It is instantly recognizable as pure Jetta, but features some new stuff: new shutters in the front grille for better engine cooling, new design for the front bumper and redesigned underbody panels. One can easily say that these are minor changes and he would be right. To a certain point. However, if you look closely, 2019 Jetta looks way different than predecessor models.

Drivetrain system

That’s where Jetta would try to shine. It is geared with a 1.4-liter TSI power train. In fact, this is not a stock model, but a revised and fine-tuned one that tries to be as efficient as possible. The whole system features clutch-driven air conditioner, more efficient generator and smoother-flowing grade of oil.

This engine is geared to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that delivers smooth and fast gear changes. What is also special about this one is the wider band of drive ratios and reduced shift change time.

2019 Volkswagen Jetta

The new Jetta will be available in five trim levels: S, SE, R-Line, SEL and SEL Premium. It is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2018.

Jeep Black Hawk Edition is finally here! And it is as astonishing as it sounds!

2018 Chelsea Truck Company Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk Edition It was first displayed as a prototype two years ago at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, but as it seems, Chelsea Truck Company Jeep Wrangler Jet Black has finally made its global debut. First presented as “Wide Track S\”, the vehicle has caught everyone’s attention back in the day and also today.

Also known as the “Black Hawk” edition, the Jeep Wrangler was personally designed by Afzal Kahn himself and his fellow team of designers and engineers. Using original parts and components from Jeep, the tuning studio has managed to deliver us innovative design, sexy looks and military-influenced endurance and appearance.

The main idea of the project was to maintain these well-known Jeep features, but at the same time to deliver something fresh and new – of course, it was achieved and now the renewed vehicle demonstrates tons of already known and new features: there are new and widened wheel arches at the front and rear that are mated to a refreshed front bumper and new grille design. Further changes include crosshair exhaust system, Iron Man bonnet and exclusive 1941 DC Black Alloy Wheels 7.5 x 17 wheels. Cool.

The cabin has also undergone some hi-end styling surgery. First of all, there are fresh new quilted front and rear Matrix GTB seats, along with new dashboard, door cards, leather transmission tunnel, quilted roll bars and grab handles. Neat.
