The production of Plum Crazy R/T and SRT8 versions of Dodge Challenger will start in late November 2009. Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Plum Crazy is powered by V8 5.7 litre HEMI engine delivering 376hp and 556Nm of torque. R/T accelerates from standstill to 60mph in less than 6 seconds. The power is put on the road through 6-speed manual transmission paired with 3.92 differential the car is very fun to drive.
SRT8 Plum Crazy respects with its power. The 6.1 litre HEMI V8 engine is producing 425hp and 568Nm of toque. The car is equipped with performance-tuned ride and handling, benchmark braking and race-inspired interior with unique SRT-designed appointments.
Dodge Challenger SRT8 in Plum Crazy is based on the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and includes all exterior elements from the original SRT8 model and performance seats with Plum Crazy accented stripe.
Plum Crazy R/T and SRT will be built on the same assembly line as the award-winning and quality-proven Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300.
