  • One-off Lamborghini Huracan spotted in Hong-Kong [w/video]

DMC Lamborghini Huracan LP610 Cairo Edition front view

Features new design wrap as well as aggressive DMC Carbon Fiber package

It is all about luxury when it comes to Lamborghini. Besides the speed, of course. But the most controversial fact is that the Lambo owners always want more luxury, more speed and more… in general. Hence, companies such as DMC have been emerging and offering what is being looked for. The Lamborghini Huracan LP610 you see in the gallery and video below is a special Cairo Edition made by DMC. It has been spotted in Hong Kong, where immediately grabbed the attention with its unique design pattern on top, the carbon pack and the aerodynamic parts.

The wrap just perfectly complements the aero kit, which is actually the main attraction of this project. One of the most important elements of this kit is the wing spoiler, which is also adjustable to three angle settings: Choose City Cruising, GT Track day or Fun Mode. They are all made by DMC and then tested in the wind tunnel. In addition, the wing comes with a base deck under it. It is the stronger version of the original part that each LP610 has.

SEE ALSO: DMC Ferrari 488 GTB ORSO offers more power and charm than you could expect!

Up front, DMC have added a stunning full front lip spoiler with side flaps, which actually reminds us of the aggressive LP720 Anniversario look. On the sides, the kit continues with new side skirts, which add extra downforce, while the rear diffuser at the tail supports road stability even better. It features front lip, which is more of a cosmetic addition, but really makes this new package stand out.

DMC Lamborghini Huracan LP610 Cairo Edition wheels

The forged wheels this Lambo runs on come in 20″/21″ and they are fitted with 245/30r20 / 325/25r21 P-Zero tires.

And here is what we have found on YouTube: the video shows the Huracan Cairo Edition being parked on a street in Hong Kong. Well, it is all about showing-off, so make sure you don’t miss and watch it. It pleases the eye.

  • Long live Miura! Lamborghini pays homage to the iconic model with a special edition

Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage side viewLamborghini Aventador Miura Homage celebrates the life of the forerunner of all V12s

Lamborghini has just unveiled a very special edition of the Aventador coupe, called Miura Homage. As the name suggests, it pays tribute to the Miura, which has been regarded “the forerunner of all V12 Lamborghini super sports cars”. The car is also revealed in the year of celebrations for the Italian brand, which makes 50th anniversary on the automotive stage.

In details, the Aventador Miura Homage has been created by the Lamborghini’s Ad Personam studio. As you can expect, it features the colors as well as the specifications of original Miura models. The exterior paint scheme features contrasting upper and lower body colors. The original Miura was offered in wide range of colors and trims, but in the case of the tribute car Lambo has selected six of the most iconic solid and metallic hues, including the Rosso Arancio Miura, Verde Scandal and Blu Tahiti.

SEE ALSO: It is never too much when it comes to tuning. Especially when it is on Lamborghini Aventador

The 20”/21” Dione rims in either matt silver or gold continue the design homage, while the metallic Miura badge on the side and black Lamborghini logo on the rear as well as the limited edition plate on the inside, show the uniqueness and exclusivity of the model.

Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage interior view

Speaking of the interior, there are two internal color options, namely, full Nero Ade or Terra Emilia leather with tone-on-tone stitching and carbon fiber package. We can see that the Miura 50th logo has been stitched into the upper part of the seats in order to reflect the car’s livery.

When it comes to power, the Aventador Miura Homage is driven by the potent 6.5 l V12 unit. It generates exactly 700 hp at 8,250 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 690 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The V12 assists this Lamborghini to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 350 Km/h (217 mph).

Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage will be produced in 50 examples only. However, the majority of the units have already been sold. But you can still see the model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend (in case you are in the vicinity).

  • Be the first to see the 2017 Porsche Panamera as first images leak online

2017 Porsche Panamera front view2017 Porsche Panamera pictures leak ahead of official debut next week

The Internet is a source of all things good and bad. In this case, the first leaked images of the new 2017 Porsche Panamera are the worst thing that could happen for the company and the best for the car enthusiasts. Thanks to this, you can meet the model a week earlier. The 2017 Panamera is about to make official debut in Germany next week. Porsche must be very upset right now.

Let’s talk about what we see. The pictures here give us not only hint of the new model, but rather an extensive look: they show the exterior and interior as well as the engine. And the latter is probably what’s going to make the 2017 Panamera “the fastest luxury sedan on Earth.”

SEE ALSO: A rather special Porsche 911 model is heading to Goodwood festival

The image of the engine (the last in the gallery below) shows a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8. However, we don’t have any information about its output, but given the fact that the car will have significantly lighter body; this would undoubtedly lead to an increased performance.

In terms of exterior, there is nothing dramatically changed. The basic attractive form and shape of the Panamera has been kept. At the front we see LEDs while the rear suggests slightly reworked trunk lid, new diffuser and exhaust tailpipes at each corner.

    2017 Porsche Panamera interior

On the inside, the leaked image shows luxurious cabin with sport seats up front. The materials used seem to be of the highest quality and everything has been kept classy and stylish. There is also a high-tech entertainment system for the occupants at the back, featuring a large LCD infotainment screen.

Enjoy the first images of the 2017 Porsche Panamera in our gallery below. More details to be revealed (officially) on June 28. Stay tuned!

  • G-Power shows how the BMW X5 M could have unlimited source of power

    G-Power BMW X5 M F85 front viewG-Power uprates second gen BMW X5 M F85 to 750 HP and 980 Nm

BMW X5 M is in its second generation and is one of those outstanding SUVs that offer not only style, but also performance. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 with significant potential, (575 hp and 650 Nm of torque), the X5 have capabilities that other rivals should be envious about. But what happens when you want to extract power even further? Obviously, the first thing you can do is find and call someone who can help you.

You can reach out to G-Power for instance. The experts at the tuning company specialize in making the M Series, into more than just an M Series. In other words, they unlock the hidden potential of the cars that come in their garage. They have exactly what you need for your X5 M: a three-stage performance upgrade and other modifications that aid performance.

SEE ALSO: When one 600HP BMW is not enough, you make two of them!

    Stage 1

    G-Power BMW X5 M F85 side view

This stage raises the output to 650 hp via a simple software remap, G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1- or the Bi-Tronik 2 V1-remap. The results recorded by the dyno are an additional 75 hp and 100 Nm of torque for both, making it to a total of 650 hp and 750 Nm.

    Stage 2

It steps over the first stage and adds a special flow-optimized stainless steel downpipes to the exhaust system. Then the software upgrade is calibrated to eventually jump to 700 hp and 905 Nm of torque.

    Stage 3

    G-Power BMW X5 M F85 rear view

The last stage generates 175 hp over the stock, bringing about the effect of an incredible 750 hp! The torque has been uprated to 980 Nm delivered between 3000-4000 rpm. Here the turbochargers are re-engineered with larger turbine and compressor wheels that spin within machined and gas-flowed housings. They work hand-in-hand with the stainless steel downpipes and a titanium exhaust system. By the way the latter is fitted with two rear silencers and four 100 mm diameter tailpipes; and it also releases a very powerful and impressive soundtrack.

Performance-wise: the quarter mile is reached within 11.5 seconds, while the V-max has been unleashed to 300km/h.

At last, G-Power’s X5 M benefits not only from better performance but also from new GX5M-RS coilover suspension and 23-inch HURRICANE RR forged alloys. And this is the most simple way you can make your X5 M more individual and powerful! Enjoy!

  • Rolls-Royce with a ‘dark and edgy’ presence on the famous Hillclimb

Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge and Ghost Black Badge front viewRolls-Royce to reveal two Black Badge special editions

This year Rolls-Royce is about to reveal two special editions at Goodwood. They come rather unexpectedly and what’s even more impressive is the additional power added to their output. Based on the Wraith and Ghost, both limited edition vehicles carry the name Black Badge and share many similarities. With its uncompromised presence they evoke dark and edgy thoughts, but at the same time bring about the calm feeling of safety and affluence.

The name of the exterior color of both cars, Black Badge, brings about more assertive, but demanding aesthetics. I can even say that it somehow has a transformative effect on the appearance and essence of the Wraith and Ghost, which I’m very fond of. It seems that the color plays with the subconscious and the reason is probably the specific way of laying the paint. Precisely, multiple layers of paint and lacquer have been repeatedly applied and then hand polished. Since this is a solid color, the effect ends being deep, dark and extremely intense.

SEE ALSO: Rolls-Royce Black Badge: Taken to the Extremes

What’s common between both models (beside the exterior paint finish) is the facia inside which comes in what Rolls-Royce calls “aerospace-grade aluminium-threaded carbon fibre composite surfacing”. Moreover, both models have been specifically built for the event. Other cool features include “Spirit of Ecstasy” in high-gloss black vamp as well as Double R “inverted” badges and the 21-inch carbon alloys. The traditional chrome surfaces have been turned dark: take a look at the front grille surround, boot lid finisher, lower air inlet finisher and exhaust pipes.

    Wraith Black Badge

Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge and Ghost Black Badge side view

This luxury model will go for a Supercar Run up the hill and in between Hillclimbs in the Supercar Paddock. Its torque has been enhanced with 70 Nm, while the horses stay the same, 642 hp (465 kW). More spirited driving is ensured by the custom air suspension and upgraded gearbox. On the inside, Wraith Black Badge is adorned by Black and Mugello Red leather.

    Ghost Black Badge

This one will be Rolls-Royce’s Course Car. The Ghost Black Badge benefits from a power increase too: it packs an additional 40 hp and 60 Nm, making a total of 603 hp (450 kW). More upgrades have been made to the 8-speed automatic transmission and to the interior, which comes in special Black and Cobalto Blue contrast leather.

And if you happen to be at Goodwood, make sure to use the hashtag #BlackBadge when tweeting Rolls-Royce content. You might get noticed.

  • McLaren 570S Sprint is the supercar you need to see in action [w/video]

McLaren 570S Sprint front viewMcLaren 570S Sprint makes global debut at the famous Hillclimb

Goodwood Festival of Speed is about to hail the static and dynamic world debut of McLaren 570S Sprint! The model is “track-only”, so don’t expect to see it in the dealership around the corner. On the contrary, you will find it thrilling the crowds on the famous Hill run. In addition, it will be on public display in the Supercar Paddock next to the McLaren P1 GTR, 650S Can-Am, 570S Coupe and the 675LT Coupe. Another example of the model can be spotted at McLaren’s central location that is adjacent to Goodwood House.

In short, the 570S Sprint is intended for track-enthusiasts, who don’t want the restrictions of any race series. What does this mean? Basically, the power and torque levels of the supercar have been upgraded making sure that there are maximum levels of driver engagement and the best levels of noise. If you are going to Goodwood, you will literally hear what we are talking about.

  • Vilner’s latest Suzuki Intruder is the highest possible form of art

Vilner Suzuki Intruder side viewThe machine is an expression of the unique style of Vilner

We rarely write about bikes, don’t we? But when we do, it must be something spectacular. Like this Suzuki Intruder, which is Vilner’s latest creation… and work of art. Literally. One literally falls in love with it at first glance and there’s no reason to explain why. You need to just take a look at it.

Now let me tell you more about this fascinating project. The here-presented Intruder is a modern interpretation of what is regarded classic, precisely – the Suzuki Cruiser. The custom motorcycle combines contemporary and traditional techniques in a very stylish and artistic way. Old-school saddler’s ways of treating the leather have been applied here, while the modern part is on the side of the innovative painting laying.

Patina and Leather as Piece of Art

    Vilner Suzuki Intruder light-house

If one asks whether a bike could be a piece of art, then Vilner will positively confirm, showing this Suzuki Intruder. First we have to talk about the unique painting technique, which the experts have used for the first time in a project. The chosen style, ‘copper patina’, has been achieved with the application of no less than six layers of paint. The latter is then processed with special brushes in what they call ‘special conditions’. The goal of everything is to create an extremely authentic finish, which has an additional advantage: it is highly resistant to severe weather conditions.

SEE ALSO: Vilner celebrates 20th Anniversary with killing it project based on Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake

What is even more curious is that the metal surfaces have this exact texture, which is capable to convey authenticity at touch. In addition to the vintage style, the wheels and the core of the brake rotors are painted in matching color.

    Vilner Suzuki Intruder leather parts

The ‘copper patina’, however, is just part of the message that this motorcycle is sending. The other integral part is the leather. Precisely, Vilner has used premium calf leather and what is called ‘beef-blank’. To achieve the end effect, the materials were eventually processed by hand to the last detail. The interesting part is the application of traditional techniques taken directly from the saddlery. The vintage style is supported by the embroidered skull of a bull and of course the “V” logo (which stands for Vilner if anyone asks). The same material is used on the levers, and they were also additionally stitched with leather strap.

Well, if this doesn’t make a bike a true piece of art, then what does?

  • Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 is the hardest and most potent pony car so far

Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 front viewHennessey Performance is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the limited edition model

It is all about horsepower when it comes to Hennessey Performance. These guys do not need any introduction or whatsoever. They are actually making 25 years of thriving and success (Viper is jealous now) and to commemorate this, they have created a really special Mustang series. Let’s not exaggerate things and say that this is only a visual update to what they have achieved so far with their latest Mustang HPE800.

What do we have underneath the hood of the ‘Stang? A supercharged unit of the powerful 5.0L V8 engine. How much power does it deliver? It is now capable of way more horses than the stock ones, precisely: 804 bhp (591 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 878 Nm (648 lb-ft) of torque at 4,400 rpm.

SEE ALSO: Which is World’s Fastest Convertible? [w/video]

Performance-wise, the acceleration time to 60 mph from standstill happens within an instant. Well, a little bit more – just in 3.1 seconds, while the quarter mile is reached in 10.7 seconds. The top speed now goes beyond 207.9 mph.

Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 rear view

There are also some significant updates that help the car extract as much power as possible and they are made to the fuel and intake system. The fuel pump as well as the injectors, the custom intake ducts have all been subjected to an upgrade.

Visual updates are probably the most exclusive part of this project, since they make it stand out and also show that it is an anniversary edition. A lot of carbon fiber has been involved here – the precious material has been used for the covers, front splitter, side sills and rear lip spoiler. Riding on beautiful 20-inch H10 alloys mated with Michelins, this Mustang is ready to conquer mountains and any tough road in general. A lot of badging is showing the significance of the here presented anniversary muscle car.

Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 25th Anniversary Edition will be produced in only 25 examples. So if you want one, you’d better hurry. I’m definitely counting my money.

  • The Viper is DEAD. Dodge says last goodbye with five limited edition models

Dodge Viper Final Editions external viewCelebrating the 25th and final anniversary of the famous supercar

You can say your last goodbye to the famous and iconic American supercar, Dodge Viper, because these five examples are the last variants that will come to life. Yes, the Viper is completely dead. Ironically, the released variants are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the model, but this also marks an unsatisfying death at a young age, doesn’t it?

To sum up the life of the Viper: Dodge introduced it back in 1992, creating it with the help of the specialists at SRT. For 25 years around 30,000 units have been produced, so this might be the hint why the car has been suddenly shown the door.

Anyway, the 25th anniversary limited-edition modelsare about to commemorate the abundant production and successful life of the Viper. Ironically speaking, of course. At least, the car looks fantastic, and it sure feels exaggerating when driving. But after all, it has rather suspicious market success.

SEE ALSO: GeigerCars.de and the 710HP Aero Dodge Viper GTS R710

The last Vipers we are about to see are: 1:28 Edition ACR (American Club Racer), GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, VoooDoo II Edition ACR, Snakeskin Edition GTC and the Dodge Dealer Edition. Each one of them is powered by the iconic all-aluminum 8.4-liter V-10 engine that delivers 645 horsepower (474 kW) and 813 Nm (600 lb.-ft.) of torque.

    Viper 1:28 Edition ACR

    2010 Dodge Viper ACR

This one pays tribute to the record of the current production car. It made a significant achievement of 1:28.65 with the driver Randy Pobst at historic Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California in October.

The characteristics that make it stand out from the others are the black exterior and painted rear wing with red ACR stripes, various aero components, 1:28 Edition exterior sill decal. Inside, there is an ACR interior with red stitching as well as serialized instrument panel with 1:28 Edition badge.

This special edition will be produced in only 28 units.

    Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR

    1998 Dodge Viper GTS R

The Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR pays tribute to a… paint scheme. The white and blue paint scheme. It was characteristic for the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition. Other goodies featured here include an aero and carbon fiber pack and carbon brakes. Inside we find the same interior scheme, but will the addition of Header Red seat belts, serialized instrument panel and GTS-R badge.

Dodge is building 100 units from this edition.

    Viper VoooDoo II Edition ACR

    2010 Dodge Viper VoooDoo

This one is modeled after the original Viper VooDoo from 2010. It has black exterior and graphite metallic ACR driver’s stripe with red tracer outline. Some of the special features here are the VoooDoo II exterior sill decals, ACR interior with silver accent stitching and the obligatory serial number with the VoooDoo II badge.

Only 31 units will be produced for 2017.

    Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC

    2010 Dodge Viper Snakeskin

Snakeskin Edition GTC is probably my favorite. It has been inspired by the original 2010 Snakeskin ACR mode, thus including new Snakeskin Green exterior with a custom snakeskin patterned SRT stripe. Advanced aerodynamics is a must. The interior is black and it has been made unique by serialized instrument panel and Snakeskin badge. This edition is the most limited in its production.

Sadly, Dodge will make of it only 25 examples.

    Dodge Dealer Edition ACR

The Dealer Edition ACR will be available through the highest sales volume Viper dealers:  Tomball Dodge of Tomball, Texas, and Roanoke Dodge of Roanoke, Illinois. We didn’t receive any pictures of the model, but Dodge says that it has been adorned by white exterior and Competition Blue center stripe as well as Adrenaline Red driver stripe. The cabin includes contrasting red stitching and serialized instrument panel with ACR badge.

The model will have as many as 33 units in production.

If Dodge Viper is your dream car, but you still haven’t bought any, then this is your last chance to get your hands on a brand new one. Orders are going to be taken starting from June 24th.

  • Long term use of Electric Vehicles?

    EV vs Combustion cars

Or why it might be a strikingly bad idea

In ten years one million electric cars are expected to be rolling on the roads of America. There is a lot of money going on here, and billions have been invested in subsidizing the production of the EVs and all of the components they use. And we are all familiar with the benefits electric cars offer, but what we aren’t exposed to is the disadvantages of owing an electric car.To be more specific, what the long term problems might be.

First, the cost is one major crux. Let’s have an example to make things clearer and easier to grasp. Nissan Leaf, being the first battery electric vehicle that was mass-produced, costs two times more than a Nissan Versa, and both are being positioned in the same car range. If we exclude the eco-benefits of the first one, it seems that the Leaf doesn’t make any sense.

For one, Leaf has only one fourth of the power of the Versa. But, you may now say there are still benefits, when taking into consideration that the electric energy is cheaper than the gasoline. Then you could compromise on power (but could you really). Here’s the big catch. Sometimes electric cars need to be charged in large amounts in order to function properly. In addition, the long term benefit in investment like this is rather suspicious. If we have to make the appropriate calculations, it ends up that to get one’s money back with an interest, it should take more than nine years of driving the Leaf everyday. These estimations are based on the fact that the EV is capable of traveling up to 60 miles on a single charge and to recover the purchase cost one should drive at least around 165,000 miles.

SEE ALSO: Autonomous cars – when will they take over? [w/video]

And how about the time? I mean the time it takes to travel with an electric car… Just imagine how busy people living in busy cities have to deal with deadlines, meetings, etc., within the traveling speed of an EV. Just hilarious! And it gets even funnier if you imagine that it runs out of energy during such nervous and erroneous time.

Have this mental picture: you are running late for an important meeting, driving your super fast EV, and eventually it seems to be out of charge. It is hot outside, but to extract an extra mile out of it you have to turn off the AC, the headlights and all technical stuff inside that require more energy. You end up sweating and perspiring, and late for your important meeting, thanking that you have left the EV behind (and completely dead) and got a cab, which was ironically driven by a combustion engine.

    Nissan Leaf EV side view

Regarding the time, there’s another disadvantage. If you are driving a gasoline car, then when you run out of fuel, you just go to the gas station and refuel it (and go for additional 300 miles). Well, this isn’t the case with the EVs. One of the biggest drawbacks here is that the recharging time varies from one hour for a fast recharge (but who could count on that) up to 20 hours for a full one (on a house current). And you would still go for 60 miles. It is extremely convenient, isn’t it? To make things look a little bit better, companies have developed charging stations for an extra cost (of course), which reduce the charging times to 4 or 8 hours. But here’s the catch. If use them too often, then you might end up buying new batteries for your EV, because it seems that the chargers (which you have bought for an additional amount of money) shorten their life. But if you have chosen to drive an electric car in a long term plan, you will still end up changing the batteries. In this case you should prepare around $5,000… or more.

Looking beyond the benefit of no-gas-fuelling and zero-CO2 emissions, the electric cars seem to NOT be the best choice for transportation means in a long term plan. But you could still wishfully want to save the environment. To keep you thinking, the CO2 emissions produced by the U.S. electric power sector are about 37% of the total U.S. energy-related CO2 emissions, while 31% are associated with combustion of fossil fuels used by gasoline and diesel cars.

  • Nasty Acura NSX EV Concept is about to conquer Pikes Peak with winner Tetsuya Yamano behind the wheel

Acura NSX EV Concept side view The supercar is driven by world’s first all-electric four-motor SH-AWD drivetrain

Tetsuya Yamano will again be featured in Acura’s team for Pikes Peak, but this year he will be sitting behind the steering wheel of an NSX EV Concept (he is currently making extensive tests). He is going to be competing in the Electric Modified Class, raising the bars high. Last year he was first in the Challenge Exhibition class with a time of 10:23.829 in an all-electric Honda CR-Z prototype. The Japanese brand is also running two NSX hybrids in the hill challenge.

But what’s the difference between the CR-Z and the NSX EV? Well, both are driven by the same powertrain, which won last year’s Pikes Peak Challenge Exhibition class. However, Acura’s EV Concept features a further evolution of the experimental all-electric unit. In other words, the supercar will be driven by world’s first 4-motor Super Handling All-Wheel Drive drivetrain, or how Acura named it – the SH-AWD.

SEE ALSO: Honda reveals details about “the new NSX” [w/video]

In short, the benefit is that the electric SH-AWD powertrain enables four-wheel independent torque allocation, thus producing three times the total system output of last year’s electric prototype. All of this is put inside NSX’ body to look more dramatic and menacing. And it is most certainly the best looking EV we have seen for a while. Unfortunately, only in a concept variant.

Acura NSX EV Concept rear view

“So, what’s the deal with the SH-AWD hype,” you might ask.The secret hides in the application of separate Twin Motor Units (TMUs) on each axle. This is how Acura actually achieved independent torque distribution to all four corners. In addition, the new technology uses highly responsive acceleration characteristics. Combined with the regeneration capability of electric motors, this further advances the torque vectoring systems that are currently applied to NSX. The experience and knowledge gained will be utilized in Acura’s RLX and the upcoming MDX.

Acura NSX EV Concept with its high-output electric motors and 4-motor torque vectoring will compete in the 156 complex corners up Pikes Peak on June 26th.

  • If this Mercedes-AMG GT S could only happen…

Piecha Mercedes-AMG GT S Renderings front viewPiecha Design reveals first couple of renderings of the customized AMG GT S

Remember when we showed you the first sketch of Piecha Design’s Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S? Well, it is now time for the project to be fully revealed! Behold, for it is something entirely unexpected…

Leaving jokes aside, this car actually looks pretty good, given the fact that Marcus Piecha and his team told us initially that we should not expect an entirely new design. Their aim was to highlight the beautiful character of the Mercedes. And they have definitely achieved that.

Another advantage is that the basic shape of the car is attractive, hence it is way easier to make something look better when it is so good from the start. Anyway, this dream sports car is now taking shape and although still in a rendering form we can see some of its unique qualities.

SEE ALSO: This is how the Mercedes-AMG GT S could look, if …

In short – it is all about carbon-fiber here, exposed and unexposed. The best part of this project is probably the extra-wide rear that was designed by the owner. He actually told us that affixing it gave him some sleepless nights, because he wanted to keep the original brake wings fully operational.

Piecha Mercedes-AMG GT S Renderings rear view

Another attraction here is the slim lower “back-end” with its four-pipe exhaust with 90mm outlets. And to give you a hint of what’s next – there is new suspension on the way, which will contribute for more dramatic stance and better driving characteristics. Furthermore, we have more extra carbon-fiber goodies, including side blades and front-cup wings as well as air splitters in the front apron.

What can’t be seen in the renderings is the performance optimization that we were promised. So we should expect significant gain over the production numbers that the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S has. Namely, 510 hp (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque.

“But that’s not all,” says Marcus Piecha who is most probably going to surprise us with the full release of the project very soon. Stay tuned!
