2014 Infiniti Q50 Goes On Sale

The pricing of the new 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan has been announced and the model will go on sale at Infiniti retailers in the beginning of July. 2014 Q50 is created and designed with the aim of appealing to the young customers who are looking for unique blend of inspired performance and hospitality.

The Q50 offers unique design in addition to the engaging performance, world’s first technologies and unmatched levels of connectivity and personalization. Under its hood the vehicle is equipped with 3.7-liter V6 engine or a 3.5-liter one (for Hybrid models only), depending on the model. The Q50 Hybrid for instance includes one of the fastest accelerating hybrid engines and additionally it is one of the most fuel-efficient powertrains in the segment.

Both models are available with a choice of rear-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. They are also equipped with features such as sport brakes and sport suspension tuning in order to deliver enhanced performance and engaging driving.

Furthermore, there are three new world’s first production performance technologies which are making their debuts in the Q50. These are the Infiniti Direct Adaptive Steering technology, Active Lane Control and Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW).

The first one allows advanced control of the Q50’s tire angle and steering inputs by simply transmitting the driver’s intentions to the wheels faster than a mechanical system. Ste second system – Active Lane Control, utilizes a camera-based lane marker detection system and Direct Active Steering system to additionally improve the lane-keeping capability of the vehicle and its straightability.

At last, the Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) system informs the driver of risks that lie beyond the their field of view. It can sense a vehicle in the vicinity, one which is directly ahead, and one – in front of the preceding one.

2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid To Be Revealed At New York Auto Show

The new gasoline electric hybrid 2014 Infiniti QX60 premium crossover will be revealed this year at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The addition of the QX60 Hybrid to the Q70 Hybrid and previously announced Q50 Hybrid, Infiniti brand will make a trio of advanced Direct Response Hybrids for the upcoming model year.

To be more precise the Infiniti QX60 Hybrid has 26 miles per gallon fuel economy (combined city/highway driving) which is circa 25 percent enhancement over the non-hybrid QX60 model. More importantly, this improvement is with no compromise on performance, interior roominess or cargo space.

In fact, this Infiniti model has a huge popularity, because of its advanced 7-passenger/3-row seating and stunning exterior and interior styling. In addition, the new version is powered by a 2.5-liter supercharged engine and 15 kW electric motor connected to an advanced CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

The amount of horsepower is estimated at 250 which are equal to 184 kW. QX60 Hybrid’s Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid® system is based on technology found in the Infiniti M35h Hybrid. It utilizes compact Lithium-ion battery and electric motor. They both deliver additional power through its one-motor/two-clutch system.

The end result is a delivery of power equivalent to the 3.5-liter V6 but with 4-cylinder fuel economy. In addition, an Intelligent Regenerative Braking system is what recharges the battery during vehicle braking.

The highlight here however, is the compact Li-ion battery which is positioned under the third row seat. The model has a flat rear floor which allows easier passenger access to the rear seats and no impact to cargo room.

What is more, this Infiniti hybrid model also offers included advanced technologies, such as Backup Collision Intervention (BCI) and Around View® Monitor. Additional information about 2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid will be undisclosed veiled after the official media unveiling on March 27th at the 2013 New York International Auto Show.

Geneva Motor Show: 2014 Infiniti Q50 [VIDEO]

2014 Infiniti Q50 has debuted at the Geneva Motor Show thus making its premiere in Europe. The model will be offered with a choice of diesel or turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine. In addition, the model will introduce world-first technologies, and will deliver great level of dynamic customization. It will also be available in Hybrid variant.

The Q50 was the first Infiniti Q car to take the Geneva spotlight. To go further into details, the hybrid delivers 364 PS (268 kW) and the diesel version – 2.2d powered by a new 2.2-litre diesel engine. Infiniti’s first four-cylinder diesel unit on the other hand generates 170 PS (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 kW) of torque, and low emissions starting from below 115g/km of CO2.

In addition, this Infiniti model will include emotive styling with distinctive human eyes-like headlight and ‘Double Arch’ grille. What is more it also comes equipped with world-first technologies such as Direct Adaptive Steering, and a digital environment.

2014 Infiniti Q50 in both diesel and hybrid forms will go on sale in Europe from this fall in a range of standard and Sport models.

Promiz Customs Transforms Infiniti FX35

Promiz Customs Infiniti FX35 is a project of the designer Nobert Gold. He visually created this special transformation for Promiz Customs which makes the fourth project he has done for them.

The tuning is on the Infiniti FX35 model and is going to equip it with unique bodykit modifications featuring the hood, the bumpers and the grill. The wheels – Vossen CV3 are to be bigger than the original ones in sizes 22’’.

The original Infiniti model has RWD, and a five speed automatic transmission matched with a 3.5-liter V6 unit under the hood. The latter generates 390 (287 kW) horsepower.

Infinti Q50 Makes an European Debut

Infiniti Q50 has already made its official first appearance at this year’s North American International Auto Show. However, the European fans are still waiting to see it on the old continent’s market. They have to wait no longer since the sports saloon will be officially introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th of March.

2014 Q50 for Europe includes the first fruit of the co-operation agreement with alliance partner Daimler AG. Additional technical details of this Infiniti model for Europe will be announced at the press conference.

But in general what we know so far is that the Infiniti Q50 is a world-class sports saloon with an engine line-up. Furthermore it also heralds a new design direction for the Infiniti range. This means nothing else but that the new design philosophy in the future is going to give a Q for saloons and coupes or QX badge for crossovers and SUVs.

Powerful and distinctive, the Q50 includes versatility of technology innovation: it is equipped with world’s first Direct Adaptive Steering technology. The other highlights about the model will be revealed at the show.

Infiniti Red Bull Racing – RB9 Race Car

Infiniti Red Bull Racing set the defence of its Formula One Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship titles in motion today in Milton Keynes UK.

The manufacturer has presented the RB9 race car. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will compete this season with the updated vehicle. During the presentation both drivers were joined on stage by team principal Christian Horner, chief technical officer Adrian Newey andcorporate vice president global marketing communications representing Infiniti, Simon Sproule.

Despite the largely unchanged nature of the technical regulations for 2013, AdrianNewey explained that the off-season was far from relaxed.

The continuity in Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s driver line-up for 2013 is much more straightforward. Sebastian is beginning his fifth year with the team, while this will be Mark’s seventh straight season with Infiniti Red Bull Racing, the longest-established teamdriver combination on the 2013 grid.

The team departs for southern Spain this evening, with testing of the RB9 due to commence at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit on Tuesday. Mark Webber will give the car its track debut, driving on Tues 5 and Wed 6 February, with Sebastian taking over for the final two days, on 7^th and 8^th February.

2014 Infiniti Q50 [first images]

Infiniti has introduced the 2014 Q50, which will make its official appearance at this year’s North American International Auto Show.

The car reminds to BMW F30 (the 2012 3-Series). It features a new evolutionary design with an aggressive front bumper, an enlarged grille and distinctive headlights. The aerodynamics is also improved, so the car will return more mpg than the previous model with the same engine. Speaking for them, the range includes an upgraded 3.7-liter V6, a hybridized 3.7-liter V6 and probably a turbocharged petrol in the IPL model.

The manufacturer will release full information for the new Q50 tomorrow.

2014 Infiniti Models – Q and QX Prefix

Infiniti adopts a new nomenclature strategy starting from the 2014 model year. The first model to carry Infiniti’s new Q badge will be the Q50, an all-new premium sports sedan to be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in January 2013.

The premium automotive brand will see its model range simply prefixed either by Q – for sedans, coupes and convertibles, or QX, for crossover and SUV models. Each model will be further identified by a double digit representing hierarchy within the range.

This strategic change reflects Infiniti’s desire for clarity and cohesiveness as it embarks on ambitious growth plans, including significant expansion of the Infiniti portfolio.

“Over the past few months, we have talked at length with our retailers, our customers, and our business partners about our brand. The need for a new identity and direction to promote consumer familiarity with our model range as we expand the portfolio became evident. To achieve this, we clearly needed a simple and consistent nomenclature framework. After exhaustive research and evaluation, we concluded that ‘Q‘ captured the inspiration within the next generation of Infiniti models, as well as emphasizing our performance credentials while harking back to our heritage with the Q45 – Infiniti’s first iconic flagship product in 1989.”, commented Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti Motor Company Limited.

The new nomenclature strategy will be implemented in logical stages within the existing product range.

Wald International Infiniti M Black Bison

Wald International has announced their latest project from the Black Bison series. The tuning company offers complete restyling for Infiniti M series as well as Nissan Fuga and Mitsubishi Proudia.

The package starts from $3900 (around €3000) and includes a new sive front bumper with large air intakes and integrated LED DRLs. The kit also features a pair of extended side skirts and a restyled rear bumper with an integrated diffuser giving prominent look at the back.

Other goodies from Wald are a new roof spoiler priced at $605, a trunk lid spoiler for $730 and sets of different wheel combinations.

For the tuners, who prefer performance, Wald will offer a coilover adjustable suspension and two different sports exhaust systems giving more horsepower and nice deep sound.

SR Auto Infiniti M35 Fitted With Vossen CV7

SR Auto Infiniti M35 is an exceptional tuning with sinister stance. The reason for this is that the specialist from SR Auto decided to fit the Infiniti model with unique set of Vossen CV7’s.

In details the M35 has overall power of whopping 364 hp (268 kW) and needs just 6.9 liters per 100 km on combined cycle. The highway consumption is 5.6 liters per 100 km and the urban – 9.0 l/100 km. The acceleration time for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is only 5.5 seconds and the top speed here is 250 km/h (155 mph) – of course it is electronically limited.

But let’s go back to the main topic. The obstruction was the wheel gap, which we quickly eliminated with a set of BC Racing BR Series coilovers. The BC Racing coilovers offered a wide range of adjustments between dampening and height, which gave this Infiniti a powerful stance.

These coilovers were selected because they perform exactly the same at all heights. And the Vossen Wheels – in particular in CV7 form, include seven distinguishing spokes in a two tone finish. In fact, the face of the spokes was buffed to a bright polish finish, while the sides and windows feature a brilliant silver tone.

And we must admit that these wheels sit perfectly flush against the edge of the fenders, giving this M35 a sinister stance.

2012 Infiniti M35h Hybrid Business Edition – Pricing Announced

2012 Infiniti M35h Hybrid Business Edition is a luxury performance vehicle which has reached new heights by being more optimized than ever. It has been created especially for the business users of the brand.

The Infiniti meets all requirements, being efficient, powerful and balanced. The acceleration sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is covered here for only 5.5 seconds, which makes the M35h the world’s fastest-accelerating hybrid saloon in 2011 by Guinness World Records.

The fuel consumption is also impressive. That’s 40.9mpg on the combined cycle, but with zero consumption, and zero CO2emissions, when the innovative hybrid system employs silent all-electric power for driving in congested city streets.

2012 SR Auto Infiniti FX35 Shows Extraordinary Stance

2012 SR Auto Infiniti FX35 is something we do not see in our everyday life. Extraordinary therefore is the most appropriate word to describe this very unique SUV.

This FX35 has a powerful output being equipped with 5.0 liter 32-valve DOHC V8 engine with VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift). Hence it is absolutely effortlessly for it to develop 390 hp (287 kW).
