The new IPL G Convertible features special aerodynamic styling pieces, the dynamic performance of an IPL-tuned V6, exhaust and suspension, 19” IPL aluminum-alloy wheels, and unique leather-appointed interior – along with the G Convertible’s three-piece retractable hardtop.

It’s a terrific addition to the Infiniti Performance Line, taking the dramatic Infiniti G Convertible to an even higher level.”, Mr. Poore added.

Infiniti has released a teaser picture of the JX Concept model, just ahead of its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18. The Seven-Passenger Luxury Crossover will start the “Power of 7” Campaign.
The JX Concept is inspired by the FX and Etherea Concept car both looking fantastic. In typical Infiniti style, the JX boasts aggressive styling with sharp curves and recessed headlights.
“Families don’t have many luxury vehicle options today. The new Infiniti JX will be the 7-passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now,” commented Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas.
The manufacturer will introduce the production model at the Los Angeles Auto Show, before launching in the spring of 2012.
Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber began his preparations for the British Grand Prix early this week. He had some fun at the race track with a high performance Infiniti M37S.
Webber demonstrated the true performance of the road car, lapping at high speed in varying conditions. He also completed an in-depth interview looking ahead to this weekend. Last year, Mark took a memorable victory in Red Bull Racing’s home, so the expectations this year are huge.
Infiniti M37S is powered by a 3.7-litre V6 petrol with VVEL delivering 320ps (235 kW) at 7000RPM. The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode & magnesium paddle shifts and all power is put on the road through the rear wheels. 0 to 100km/h takes 6.2 seconds.

The AHG Sports tuner of Infiniti Centre in Hamburg has installed some modifications to the FX. They managed to create a spectacular appearance for the crossover, which was just impressive. Although FX is not a direct competitor to the big SUVs like BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne, it is very close to them, because of the mighty engines and superb luxury.
However, the tuned FX 30dS by AHG Sports is even better. The crossover stands on enormous three-piece wheels from CC line of Schmidt Revolution from Bad Segeberg. The dimensions are 11J x 21” fitted with 295/40 ZR21 tires. The set is priced at 7900 EURO.
The suspension is upgraded by installing a new lowering spring kit, which removes 25mm from ride’s height. The set is priced at 1495 Euro.
Last, but not least, the diesel engine is boosted to the hefty 280HP (instead of the factory’s 238HP) and 600Nm of torque. The ECU re-map is priced at 1250 Euro.
Infiniti has teased the new JX model, which is expected to hit the market in spring 2012 as a 2013 model. The vehicle is a luxury crossover, which features dynamic and elegant line treatments inspired by nature.
“The all-new Infiniti JX crossover will allow us to continue to expand the Infiniti brand’s presence in the Americas,” commented Carlos Tavares, chairman, Nissan Americas.
“In 2010, Infiniti was one of the fastest-growing luxury brands in the United States, and this year we will expand our presence further to Mexico and Panama, followed by Chile in the first half of 2012.”, said Mr. Tavares.
“There aren’t a lot of choices for luxury families today. The all-new Infiniti JX is the 7-passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now,” added Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas.
“The Infiniti JX will have a stunning interior, while offering exceptional seating flexibility, easy access to the roomy third row, plus the latest in-vehicle technology – including next-generation telematics. A fitting addition to our line, it will challenge the status quo in its class.”, finished Ben Poore.
However, the company didn’t release any further information of technical characteristics of JX. Still, the official debut of the model will be at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August, this year and the production version is expected to be exhibited at the 2011 LA Auto Show in November.
