  • 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale – On Sale

A 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale will be auctioned on August 16th during the RM Auctions Monterey event. The super-rare sports car is expected to be the most expensive Ferrari ever sold.

The previous most expensive Ferrari in the history was the 275 GTB/4 NART Spider that was sold for €20 million (around $27 million). However, the 275 GTB/C Speciale is expected to go up to whopping €25 million (around $34 million).

There are only three units from this model and this particular Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale has a chassis number: 06701 (the first one from the series). It is designed to go against the legendary Ford GT40 and Shelby Cobra Daytona at Le Mans in 1965. Still, this one never hit the track, but one of the other two units finished 3rd in the overall standing at the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans.

1965 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale is powered by a 3.3 liter V12 engine with six carburetors – 320HP (235 kW), which is 70HP more than the original 275 GTB. The Speciale also comes with lightweight aluminum bodywork and a chassis as well as an independent rear suspension. All this technology was simply astonishing back then.

    Stay tuned!

Novitec Rosso has revealed their latest tuning program for the powerful Ferrari 458 Speciale. The tuning company has already unveiled their version of 458 Italia and now it is turn to the most powerful version of the Italian supercar. The tuning package includes styling and performance upgrades as well as optimized aerodynamics.

The exterior boasts a complete body kit including a new spoiler and splitter for the front bumper, modified rocker panels and carbon-fiber moldings with gill-shaped profile for the rear side windows.  There is also a new rear wing and a carbon fiber diffusor as well as new moldings for the exterior mirrors and the door triangles. All components are manufactured from carbon fiber, which guarantees high durability and low weight. Special air deflectors for the left and right air inlets on the rear side components were developed as part of the innovative aerodynamic-enhancement concept. To complete the striking exterior look, NOVITEC also offers additional carbon-fiber applications such as vent grilles or the fog lamp surround, roof skin and the hood also made of carbon fiber.

Other highlights include as black tail lights, black turn signals and black auxiliary LED brake light. A set of enormous 21” Novitec Rosso NF4 forged rims are specially developed and fitted to the tuned 458 Speciale. They are fitted with high-performance Pirelli PZero tires of sizes 255/30 ZR 21 and 325/25 ZR 21.

One of the most powerful naturally-aspirated engines in the world – the 4.5 liter V8 powering the 458 Speciale is boosted to spectacular 636HP (458 kW) at 9,250RPM and 572Nm (422 lb-ft) of torque at 5,550RPM. No words about acceleration 0-100 km/h, but it is under 3.0 seconds. The top speed is over 330 km/h (205 mph).

Another nice feature is the hydraulic suspension system for the 458 Speciale. The front of the car can be raised by 40 mm at the push of a button in the cockpit to be able to drive over a curb or navigate a parking garage ramp. The front reverts to its original position at a second push of the button or automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h. • JMB Optimering Ferrari LaFerrari – 1,050HP

JMB Optimering boosted LaFerrari to the whopping 1,050HP (772 kW). The model is produced in a limited series of just 499 units, so getting one for modifying is extremely difficult.2013 Ferrari LaFerrari is powered by a 6.3 liter V12 with 800HP (588 kW) at 9,250RPM an 700Nm (519 lb-ft) at 6,750RPM. With the help of HY-KERS, the overall power is whopping 963HP and over 900Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7 seconds and 0-300 in breath-taking 15 seconds. A lap around Fiorano race circuit takes just 1 minute and 20 seconds – 5 seconds faster than the Enzo and over 3 seconds faster than the F12berlinetta.So, the tuning specialists from JMB squeezed another 90HP from the mighty twelve cylinder engine. It is interesting that the overall output matches that of the rumored track-only LaFerrari XX expected to hit the market next year.LaFerrari XX will be limited to just 30 units. Since the “normal” LaFerrari is priced at €1.3 million, we expect the XX version to be something close to €2.0 million, which is sensational. There is no doubt that the manufacturer spends a lot to produce such supercar, but to ask that kind of money for a track-only car is just ridiculous.

  • Ferrari FXX Evoluzione on Sale

Miller Motorcars now offer an extremely rare Ferrari FXX Evoluzione. The hyper car does not have a price tag, but we expect seven figures, because only the optional Evo kit was priced at $300,000.

The Italian manufacturer has initiated the FXX program back in 2005 as a race-spec evolution of the Enzo. Two years later, the car was fitted with an Evoluzione package boosting the 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine from 800HP (588 kW) to 860HP (630 kW). The engine is connected to a 6-speed Semi-automatic transmission. 0-100 km/h in less than 2.4 seconds and a top speed of over 400 km/h (250 mph).

Some of the special features include a carbon fiber body over carbon fibre tub with rear alloy subframe. The brake system comes from Brembo –  CCM (carbon-ceramic) discs with 6-piston calipers at the front and carbon-ceramic discs with 4-piston calipers at the rear.

Ferrari produced 30 units of the FXX and only a few received the optional Evo kit. The model features a different livery and an updated rear wing. The gearbox is also updated to shift in just 60 milliseconds. Ferrari also altered the suspension and brakes together with the traction control which came with nine user-selectable settings.

This particular car has only 322 km (200 miles) on the clock!

Ferrari has officially unveiled the one-off F12 Berlinetta TRS. The open-top supercar is created through the company’s Special Projects division. Like all one-off Ferraris, the F12 TRS is the product of Ferrari’s now-classic approach of creating a truly integrated design. It thus has the same exceptional performance figures as the F12 Berlinetta.

The TRS model comes with an aggressive body kit and a minimalistic appearance for the interior. It features a lot less buttons and knobs as well as the controls for the audio system. The glove compartment, mats and holders have all been removed. Still, the interior comes with a nice combination of Alcantara, leather and black matte carbon fiber.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta TRS is powered by the well-known 6.3 liter 65° naturally aspirated V12 engine – 740HP (544 kW) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft). 0-100 km/h – 3.1 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The top speed is over 340 km/h (211 mph). The curb weight is a bit less than 1,525 kg (3,362 lbs). We are a bit disappointed to find out that the TRS doesn’t have a KERS system.

Although inspired by the traditional Rosso Corsa, the new bodywork colour was developed using multi-layer and micalised paint technologies.

Ferrari didn’t unveil an official price tag, but a rumor says that the customer paid close to $4.2 million for the one-off F12 Berlinetta TRS.
