BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition Individualized by TVW Car Design

TVW Car Design BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition Front View BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition was released back in October last year. If you remember well, then you should also know that this car was released to pay tribute to the DTM Champion Marco Wittmann. The car was released in 23 units only, which number isn’t coincidental but inspired by the number 23 on Marco’s championship winning racecar.

With all of its fantastic additional elements, it is very hard for comprehension that someone could want extra equipment. Precisely, to make the perfect tribute car, the exterior shade is in Alpine White, which mimics the Ice Watch on Marco Wittmann’s BMW M4 DTM racecar.

Just like on the racecar, the road coupe also received a bonnet, roof and boot lid finished in matt black and emblazoned with colourful stripes. There are also BMW kidney grilles outlined in orange as well as a decal set with lateral stripes, starting numbers, and flags and logos. Matt black 19-inch alloy wheels are also featured in the stock package.

But this is not everything. Based on the M4 series, the vehicle also gets as standard M Performance collection components, including black front splitter, rocker blades, carbon-fibre front flaps, carbon-fibre door mirror caps and rear spoiler and diffuser inserts.

Furthermore, the production model also has very impressive interior, which features carbon-fibre trim on dashboard, centre console and steering wheel. The dashboard also wears the lettering “DTM Champion Edition” and the sequential number of this Special Edition. The special sill plates, that show how exclusive this car is, also carry the signature of the 25-year-old DTM champion.

TVW Car Design’s Work Adds More to This

Obviously, the experts at TVW Car Design received a customer, who whished his or hers BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition to get even more distinctive appearance. Starting with the alloys, they have been substituted with BBS FI one-piece forged ones in 20-inch size. Of course, they were fitted with corresponding Michelin Pilot Super Sport UHP tires.

The handling was also improved. The experts at TVW Car Design added KW’s Clubsport fully adjustable coil-over suspension as well as Akrapovic Evolution Line titanium exhaust system. The latter features carbon-fibre tail pipes, which are integrated into the carbon rear diffuser.

Improved Power Output

The stock output of this BMW is 431 hp (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). M4’s 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six motor needed a little bit of boost achieved not only by the Akrapovic titanium exhaust system but also by the additional ECU increase. The result is impressive: 517 hp (380 kW and 700 Nm (517 lb-ft).

Maybe all of the mentioned modifications won’t appeal to everyone, since this is already a substantially modified production vehicle. However, TVW Car Design’s interpretation of the DTM Champion Edition offers a little bit different meaning than the stock M4 Coupe.

Hamann and fostla.de Unite For a Special Mirr6r BMW M6 Project

Hamann BMW M6 F13 Mirr6r by fostla.de is a project which involves not one but two tuning companies. This may sound a little bit flamboyant to you, but just take a look at the pictures in our gallery and you will find out how beautiful this car looks. Not to repeat that this is a BMW M6.

Under modification was the second generation M6, which will end up sportier and better looking. Read how this was achieved.

Extensive Tuning by Hamann

To make a comparison later, I should first mention the stock power output of the BMW M6 F13. Its production engine, produces 560 HP (412 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

After the power optimization done solely by Hamann experts via add-on control device, the M6 received racing capabilities. As a result, the BMW pumps out 650 HP (478 kW) at 6,000 to 7,000 rpm and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of maximum torque at 1,500 to 5,750 rpm. Which is way better than the serial numbers, isn’t it?

To complement the extensive tuning of BMW’s engine, Hamann has also developed a special Mirr6r kit. It adds a lot of details like the front apron and two front wings for example. The face of the BMW M6 also received a new carbon aero bonnet.

The sides on the other hand are characterized by new skirts and multi-spoke ‘Anniversary Evo’ alloys. At the rear, we see broader rear wings, a central rear bezel, the rear apron and a three-part rear wing. At last, the exhaust proudly shows-off with silver end pipe bezels.

The final touches to this project have been applied by the specialists at fostla.de. To round out the work of Hamann, they have done two things. The first one is to add full wrapping in expressive blue-chrome-matt. And the second and last one is to tint all windows. And this is how the unique Hamann BMW M6 F13 Mirr6r by fostla.de was born.

BMW Individual Reveals Special 4-Series Gran Coupe in Frozen Brilliant White

BMW Individual 4-Series Gran Coupe in BiColor has just been launched on the official Facebook page of the Bavarian company and shown via four exclusive images. We immediately liked it and now we present it to you in its full glory and luxurious features. Although there is not a lot of information revealed, the pictures speak for themselves.

Expressive BiColor Exterior

This 4 Series Gran Coupé was specifically produced by specialists at BMW Individual, who left a prominent impression with their work. Basically, there is “no larger contrast than black and white” and this design philosophy has been applied here.

Frozen Brilliant White metallic has been the choice for the external appearance of the car and it has been further highlighted by contrasting Piano Black accents. Another very imposing feature, which is only visible from the outside, is the rear shelf which features the special BMW Individual Manufaktur signet.

This exclusive BiColor treatment is to be found implemented throughout the cabin as well. Piano Black has been used for the dashboard, center console, doors and literally almost everywhere inside the car.

It was perfectly contrasted by the white fine-grain merino leather used for the instrument panel and the exclusive M-leather wrapped steering wheel in Opal White/Black. The seats are also in Opal White, and they have been accentuated via double black stripes running throughout them.

Vorsteiner BMW M4 Gets EVO Aero Kit

Vorsteiner BMW M4 EVO Aero Front View Vorsteiner BMW M4 EVO Aero is the last one of the four Bavarians featured today. Next to the M4 Convertible, X6 and the 7-Series, this one will make the perfect cream of the joke. What is so special about it? Well, I like simplicity and the fact that it looks stylish enough. It has also has been revealed through several very good pictures, which you can view below.

Not to mention that it is an M-Series, meaning that it has to offer 425hp coming from its twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine. The unit is connected to a paddle-shifted seven-speed automatic that drives the rear-wheels. Furthermore, the M4 is originally made with a lot of carbon fiber infused in it, including the driveshaft, so this makes it even more attractive.

Vorsteiner’s EVO Aero Program

Just like mbDESIGN’s M4 Convertible, this one comes out from the factory in Mineral White metallic exterior colour. So basically, this was the starting point of the tuners at Vorsteiner, who immediately decided to add an EVO Aero Program. Oh, and there are also some black graphic elements featured on the hood.

The aerodynamic enhancements comprise of aero front spoiler and Evo Deck Lid spoiler. The latter comes in contrasting black, and it is also good to mention that both parts have been made from lightweight carbon fiber.

There are two other additions to the package: the GTS diffuser and exhaust tip set that will make the V6 under the hood of the M4 sound uncompromising. The last touch, added by the Californian-based studio is the wheels. They are 20-inch big, multi-spoke and come in Carbon Graphite.

G-Power BMW 760i Breaks Standards with 610HP

G-Power BMW 760i Front View G-Power BMW 760i or in other words the next BMW featured on our site today. This time, knowing that G-Power is extremely capable in boosting performance, we will focus exactly on this. Or to say it like this, you will find out how the experts have managed to add 66 hp and 120 Nm to this 7-Series.

Precisely, the V12 bi-turbo engine in the current 760i F01 is capable of boasting 544 hp (400 kW) and 750 Nm (554 lb-ft) of torque. This is quite impressive, but when it comes to engine tuning, people always demand more.

G-Power is Not Satisfied with Stocks 544HP

As a result, the great looking BMW 760i received a Bi-Tronik 5 V1 performance module from G-Power. It has been installed between the factory ECU and its data bus input. In addition, the module starts working only when the driver demands full throttle.

The result is stunning and it is 610 hp (513 kW) at 6,000rpm and 870 Nm (642 lb-ft) of maximum torque achieved at 2,600 rpm. If you wonder about the acceleration time, it is obvious that when you add more horsepower, you will also achieve much faster results. So, the 0-100 km/h sprint is now covered in just 4.3 seconds.

However, these extra 66 hp literally demand additional sporting dimensions. First, the reliability and longevity of the V12 engine is kept intact via the built-in protection system of the module. How does it work? It does not allow the extra power to be used until the prescribed engine coolant temperature has been reached.

Next, to make it look even more monstrous and complement the additional output, the specialists at G-Power have also added 21-inch diameter HURRICANE RR forged alloys in Jet Black with a DIAMOND CUT finish. Then, they have fitted the new wheels with Michelin tires in the dimensions of 255/35ZR21 at the front and 295/30ZR21 at the rear.

BMW X6 Received an Interesting Upgrade from LUMMA Design

BMW X6 CLR X6R The latest BMW X6 received an impressive body work by LUMMA Design. Now, their latest creation is called CLR X6R. And it looks really good. Let’s check it out.

After the catoonish pack, released in 2014, the LUMMA team decided to go for something wider and larger. The crew added massive 22-inch alloy wheels with beautiful design and four exhaust tips with different sizes. And of course, the BMX X6 received front splitter, blacked out special grille, special LED fog lights, trunk lid spoiler, glossy black diffuser, roof panel and some more sporty surprises.

And to match the aggressive and muscular look, the drivetrain system also had its attention. CLR X6R’s power output is now 555hp (408 kW) and 792 Nm from 450 PS (330 kW) and 650 Nm. And all this comes from the twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine. In fact, the powerplant also features an especially remapped ECU.

And when it comes to interior, the LUMMA team will offer a wide range of trims, leather and Alcantara components, along with some carbon-fiber and wood trims. And let’s not forget the aluminum pedals and the sweet entrance lights.

BMW Individual Celebrates 25th Birthday with Custom BMW M4 Coupe

2015 BMW M4 Coupe by BMW Individual is a vehicle which one does not see every day. There are several reasons for this fact. First it is an M4 series, and as we all know, the most favorited among all M specifications are the M3s. The other reason is that the car has been customized by BMW Individual, which is Bavarian company’s official customization division. And we must say it looks fantastic and stands out with its own uniqueness.

The reason for the release of this special car is BMW Individual’s 25^th birthday. So a one-off vehicle is always the best way to mark an anniversary, isn’t it?

Exterior

The outer looks of this anniversary 2015 BMW M4 Coupe by BMW Individual are characterized by a Macao Blue metallic paint finish. The special exterior color is accompanied by a black finish for the M front splitter. What we see at the top of the M4 is a carbon fiber roof that carries the legendary three-colored M stripes.

Interior

The cabin of this M4 is defined by unique upholstery. It is made of fine-grain Merino leather and features a bi-color treatment. Precisely, the shades are black & Silverstone and they have been contrasted via Silverstone stitching.

To celebrate the 25^th birthday, BMW Individual embroidered anniversary logos on the headrests. The hand brake as well as the centre console has been also wrapped in Silverstone leather. To make the interior even more harmonious, the experts added carbon fiber elements and Macao Blue metallic accents here and there. Engine

2015 BMW M4 Coupe by BMW Individual comes equipped with the six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter unit. It produces no less than 431 horsepower (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The force of the car is transmitted onto the road via seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It helps the car in achieving 4.1 seconds acceleration time for the 0-100 km/h sprint.

G-POWER BMW M3 Comes with Tremendous Torque Results!

2015 G-POWER BMW M3 F80 can pump out 560 horsepower and 720 Newton meters of torque. The reason for this is that the famous M3 series have received in-house developed Bi-Tronik 2 V2 remap. The difference here is that unlike generic remaps, this one is customized for the original control unit in the particular vehicle on the pictures below.

What does this mean? The BMW M3 can now actually achieve maximum all-round performance enhancement. As a matter of fact, this is the hardest way to implement such upgrade. The reason for this is that one has to crack the factory 128-bit encryption first.

The experts at G-POWER had obviously no hindrances in applying this method, because they have achieved great results. In addition, to prove that everything runs smoothly, they have made extensive test runs on the dyno and real world testing on the autobahns and country roads. The end effect is visible via the improved performance and outstanding drivability of the Bi-Tronik 2 V2 conversion.

Furthermore this G-POWEER BMW M3 also received some additional tuning improvements which support the Bi-Tronik 2 V2 package and perfectly complement it. Precisely, the tuners installed downpipes that substantially reduce the exhaust back pressure.

In fact, the in-house made titanium exhaust system features four 90-millimeter tailpipes, but future customers can opt for titanium or carbon ones. It also includes a sound flap in the rear silencer with remote control regulation. Because of the lightweight materials, car’s weight dropped by up to 7.1 kg.

Having a reduced unsprung mass means only a need of handling improvement. Hence, G-POWER added to this BMW M3 21-inch HURRICANE RR alloys and fitted them with 245/30ZR21 and 295/25ZR21 Michelin tires.

The wheels are actually made of ultra-light aircraft-grade aluminium. They are available in Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey and Stardust Silver, and in this case come in the aforementioned grey color.

The output of this car is now 560 hp (412 Nm) strong at 6,500 rpm and can generate 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of optimum torque at 4,500 rpm. This means additional 129 hp (95 kW) and 170 Nm (125 lb-ft).

This enhancement catapults the Bavarian super car to 100km/h from a standing start in just 3.8 seconds. The Vmax have been released from its factory limitation and now reaches 310km/h.

2016 BMW 7 Series Officially Revealed! [Details&Videos]

2016 BMW 7 Series has been finally unveiled! The wait is over and we are really pleased from what we see. The sixth generation of BMW’s flagship model stands out from the crowd strongly with its luxurious, athletic and purposeful stance. The new model year 7 Series features lightweight design infused with carbon fiber that will make it even more capable and 130 kg lighter than the previous generation. The car also gets enhance driving dynamics, offers more comfort for the passengers, and features intelligent connectivity and intuitive operation.

Throughout the United States the 2016 BMW 7 Series will distributed in a 740i and a 750i xDrive variant that are getting new generation of power units. The BMW 740e is powered by plug-in hybrid system and will appear at first only in Europe.

Other cool features are the Executive Drive Pro active chassis system, the Driving Experience Control and BMW Laserlight. The cabin gets a lot of equipment in order to enhance the comfortable experience of the driver and occupants. There are features like the Executive Lounge which offers a massage function. Combined with the Vitality Programme, the Sky Lounge Panorama glass roof, the Welcome Light Carpet and the Ambient highlight, it will make an unforgettable ride.

Harmonious in proportions, the new generation 7 Series showcases flowing surface design and precise lines. This results in confident on road stance and dynamic and exclusive elegant look. The luxury sedan will be offered in standard and long wheelbase, and also with the M Sport package, Pure Excellence package and a BMW Individual Design Composition from launch.

BMW 7 Series is the brand’s first car to feature an Active Kidney Grille. The latter includes visible air flap control, which is only open when there is an increased cooling air requirement. It also gives the front-end more eye-catching appearance because of the visibly increased number of bars in the large BMW kidney grille.

The front is also characterized by standard horizontal LED fog lamps and the full LED lights. They underline the car’s broad stance. At the back, the tail lights also feature LED technology. The two L-shaped light units are connected by a chrome bar extending the full width of the trunk lid. The apron in the rear includes exhaust tailpipes framed by chrome surrounds.

At the sides, we see 18-inch or 19-inch multi-spoke wheels, while the optional ones come straight from the Original BMW Accessories and include light-alloy wheels in 18-inch to 21-inch sizes. Two non-metallic and nine metallic colors are available as exterior paint scheme, with Carbon Black Metallic and Singapore Gray Metallic exclusively available only for the M Sport package.

2016 BMW 7 Series Interior

Inside, the cabin is characterized by comfort and luxury. Almost everything here has new design, starting from the slim paddle shifters on the steering wheel and Driving Dynamics Control buttons to the instrument cluster and Control Display graphics. On the steering wheel and center console we see chrome buttons for various functions. In addition, the controls on the center console are framed by fine wood or aluminum surfaces.

The interior of the BMW 7 Series is spacious and this is highlighted via the horizontal surface structure that extends through the door trim. There are five color variants for the Dakota leather trim on the 740i variants and five Exclusive Nappa leather trims for both 740i and 750i xDrive.

New-Generation Engines for 2016 BMW 7 Series

The V8 engine and six-cylinder in-line variants in the range of drivetrains for the BMW 7 Series have been significantly updated. All units have been mated as a standard eight-speed Steptronic transmission. BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system can be specified as an option.

The redeveloped V8 engine features 4.4 liter displacement and BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. It produces 445 hp (330 kW) and and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the 750i xDrive or 750Li xDrive to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds on their way to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The 740i and its Li version will be equipped with the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine. This one is capable of 326 horses (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, and can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. The Vmax here is again 250 km/h (155 mph).

The 730d, 730Ld, 730d xDrive and 730Ld xDrive come with 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel unit under the hood. The engine generates 265 horsepower (195 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque, and can run to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.

At last, the plug-in hybrid variants of the 7 Series are the 740e, 740Le and 740Le xDrive. The plug-in hybrid systems comprises of a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol unit combined with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The electric motor produces 95 hp (70 kW) which helps the car achieving a total output of 326 hp (240 kW). The hybrid 7 Series can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). Despite these figures, the fuel consumptions stays very low – 2.1 L per 100km (134.5 mpg). In addition, the car can travel on electricity alone, thus emission-free, for up to 40 km (25 miles) and at speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph).

Pricing

2016 BMW 7 Series will be available in US showrooms this fall. The BMW 740i will be priced at $81,300USD, while the 750i xDrive – at $97,400USD.

BMW 640i M Performance Coupe Revealed in Japan

2015 BMW 640i M Performance Edition Coupe will be entirely distributed in Japan and this fact makes us very sad. The Bavarian company has just introduced the Alpine White car and we immediately fell in love. I assume that the same thing will happen with you too. The car looks great not only because of its exclusive paint scheme, but because of the black accents and purposeful stance. As mentioned, the Alpine White is the chosen color for the exterior paint scheme. The outer looks of the car are further strengthened by the “M Sport Package”, which adds black accents on the form of 20-inch liquid black M-light alloy wheels with V-spoke design, carbon mirror covers and black kidney grille.

The sporty character of the front fascia of the car is additionally emphasized via new LED headlights. They will provide excellent visibility even in the bad weather and during the night or day. The good fact is that they come as standard equipment for this special edition.

M sport Package also adds front apron, side and rear skirts. There is also black-side window frame molding with glossy finish. The brake calipers behind the wheels have been painted in black, while at the back, the dual exhaust tail pipe features dark chrome treatment.

There are even more goodies inside the car, which is dressed in contrasting to the exterior black leather. This is specifically visible through the Dakota leather that will support the ride of the driver and front passenger. The gear shit lever features exclusive carbon fiber design, while the M Sport leather steering wheel is wrapped in leather but also features stylish carbon M logo.

Below the wais line, BMW added M Performance stainless steel pedal set. In addition, there are electric glass sunroof, gray poplar wood trim and the standard Plus package.

Drivetrain

Under the hood there is working the six-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo unit, which produces no less than 320 hp (235 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels.
