  • The Force Awakens with Top 5 Star Wars Themed Cars

Top 5 of the Most Attractive Star Wars Themed Cars“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is probably the most discussed topic now. And it should be since this movie has left an indisputable and strong mark in the consciousness of at least three generations. From grandparents to grandchildren, everyone is going to the movie theaters with expectations of a grandeur experience. We are also excited about this world-movie-happening and this is why we decided to make a Top 5 of the Most Attractive Star Wars Themed Cars. This is how we are joining the verge of excitement around the premiere of one of the most emblematic films ever created.

Number 5: Darth Vader’s Viper ACR and Stormtrooper’s Challenger and Charger

Darth Vader’s Viper ACR and Stormtrooper’s Challenger and Charger Ad

We put the trio on fifth position, because of the little difference they have in comparison to the original cars. These three were seen rolling on the streets of Los Angeles this weekend, and probably many of you living there had the chance of meeting them. The pair of First Order Stormtrooper-themed white 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat traveled in the company of the intimidating Kylo Ren-inspired wrapped black Dodge Viper ACR.

Powered by 8.4-liter V10 engine, the beautiful black Dodge Viper ACR produces 645 horsepower (474 kW) and 813 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. It transmits all this power onto the road via the Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. The car also shows-off with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, 19-inch alloys and exclusive Kumho Ecsta V720 high-performance tires. Since Darth Vader drives this car, we are sure that he has chosen to add the Extreme Aero package, making sure that he will have the highest aerodynamic downforce of any production car.

Number 4: Blood Type Racing Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec

Blood Type Racing Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec

Blood Type Racing has revealed this Veloster Turbo R-Spec at the SEMA show in November this year. It seems that the Veloster has switched to the dark side just in time for the next Star Wars series. It definitely looks like a vehicle that the Sith Lord could drive. It is built with an abundant amount of carbon fiber and dressed in Carbon Black exterior paint scheme, highlighted with a red racing stripe running from the front splitter up onto the hood.

In addition, there is also a carbon fiber wide-body kit that is accompanied by front-mounted aero canards, front splitter and a rear deck spoiler. Red accents on the custom SSR three-piece wheels, along with red projector “demon eye” headlamps are making this car look really devilish. The force that awakes this car is the 1.6-liter “Gamma” four-cylinder engine, which achieves more than 500 horsepower due to ECU tuning!

    Number 3: Fiat 500e Stormtrooper

    Fiat 500e Stormtrooper Exterior View

On third position is Fiat’s Stormtrooper themed 500e, which has debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show this November and has caused great furor. Inspired by the First Order Legion, the exterior livery of this Fiat has unique two-tone black and white custom painting and wrapping, making it look like a helmet.

The interior of the car was decorated also in the contrasting combination of black and white. The seats got Alcantara treatment, while the dash was painted in white and enriched by the “Star Wars” logo. The First Order insignia can be also spotted on the two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel. By the way, this 500e should be attributed to the work of the specialists at Garage Italia Customs.

    Number 2: Vilner BMW Stormtrooper

    Vilner BMW Stormtrooper with Stormtroopers

Vilner’s unique BMW M6- based project, called Stormtrooper, has been revealed one year ahead of the premiere of the new Star Wars episode. With its sparkling white color and power hidden in its forms, the car is reminiscent of the Imperial Army troops of Darth Vader. This car is one-of-a-kind, features exclusive detailing and powerful presence.

Almost everything in this cabriolet has been changed, starting from the front and rear bonnets, bumpers, rear fenders, and almost all components inside. Running on 20-inch black wheels, this cabrio carries and antique Nappa leather and brown Alcantara interior and a lot of exclusive detailing on the outside. For instance, take a look at the decorative elements of the exterior. The details about this amazing project are featured in the link below. It seems that this car had to be on first position, isn’t it?

Number 1: Hot Wheels Darth Vader Car

Hot Wheels Darth Vader Car Exterior

The first place is reserved for the Ultimate Darth Vader car! It just couldn’t be the other way around! We have shown you a video yesterday of Jay Leno’s experience with it, but if you haven’t watched it yet, you can do this in the link below.

Mattel Hot Wheels Darth Vader Car is a result of the collaboration between the two franchises, which has been also released in a 1:64 toy variant. This real-size car is powered by an LS3 V8 engine, which generates 526 horsepower (387 kW) and rides on custom red line tires. It also produces heavy breathing sounds associated with the Sith Lord. The powerful engine drives the rear wheels and also has a backlit, side-exit exhaust system. Furthermore, the “nose” of this unique car is made of carbon fiber, and its design is made in that way so it resembles Darth Vader’s mask. The wheels have been specifically designed for this car as are the unique triple headlights and the split windshield. And this is definitely a car worth of first position, because of all the work put on it.

  • Meet Manhart’s MHX5 700 Project Based on the X5 M F85

MHX5 700 Front viewThis special project called MHX5 700 is based on BMW’s X5 M F85 model. We are definitely satisfied what Manhart Performance has achieved with it and therefore we impatiently wanted to share it with you. Although we have seen even stronger X5s by he same tuning company (visit the link below for more information), this one here is surely one-off because it also adds some other cool equipment features.

SEE ALSO: Manhart MHX5 750 Promised to be Faster than BMW X5M F85

    Engine Optimization

The current X5 M F85-series is factory-fitted with the 4.4 liter V8 engine, which produces 575 hp (423 kW) and 750 Nm (554 lb-ft) as a standard. These numbers weren’t enough for the tuner and therefore it felt the urge to introduce the MHX5 700 program to this BMW model.

The modification began after installing in-house made downpipes and stainless steel sport mufflers with valve control and 100-millimeter twin tailpipes. Then the modification of the engine software began, thus making the datasheet show full 700 hp (515 kW) at 6500 RPM and a brute torque of 900 Nm (665 lb-ft) at 5700 revs.

After the maximum speed limiter was removed, the SUV can even show-off with beefy 315 km/h into the airstream. And if you aren’t keen on that much power, Manhart is offering a “small” Power Stage with 640 hp (471 kW).

    Looking Good or Better?

    MHX5 700 Rear View

In terms of exterior appearance there hasn’t been done much. But it is in fact sufficient. First we should pay attention to the custom-built foil coverage that comes in Grey Matte. And then we should look lower and spot the 10.5×22 and 11,5×22 inches BBS SV rims. They were fitted with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti high performance tires dimensioning 295/30ZR22 front and 335/25ZR22 rear.

In order to sit lower to the ground, the modified X5 M received H&R lowering springs. They bring it 35mm closer to the ground but also maximize its cornering performance. Even better, there is no loss of the offered comfort.

Inside there is a single change and it includes a new extra AWRON display, which informs the driver about all important MHX5 700 operating parameters and driving dynamics values.

So, which one is your favorite tuning from today?

  • Carbonfiber Dynamics Releases One-Off BMW M4 with 3DDesign-Bodykit

Carbonfiber Dynamics BMW M4 Front ViewBMW M4 and modified variants of its kind aren’t a rare publication in our blog. We know that there are a lot of crazy-about-BMW fans out there and this is why it is important for us to support your passion with more good cars of this brand. And this is why today we have prepared two. The first example is this M4 tuned by Carbonfiber Dynamics. By the way, if you are living in Germany and are near a city called Essen, then you should definitely go see this custom project. It will be exhibited until 6th of December at company’s stand at the Essen Motor Show.

One of the most captivating things about this car is that it features new body kit designed by the Japanese BMW specialist at 3DDesign. Of course, the kit is made of nothing else but carbon fiber, although it might be covered with paint here and there.

    The Details.

Carbonfiber Dynamics BMW M4 Rear View

The full body kit comprises of some special equipment worth mentioning. The front and rear aprons were substituted with carbon fiber ones, which were additionally partially painted. The other parts in the aprons were left uncovered and can be still recognized as the lightweight material.

The sides are governed by ‘gracile’ side skirts and, furthermore, the rear also received very effective rear spoiler on the trunk edge. All these elements reduce the weight of the car significantly and so are the brand new exhaust system and the rims. They were all produced by 3DDesign as were the hand brake grasp and the pedals in M4’s cabin.

Although this is a not abundantly modified project, we like it because of its simplicity and moderation. Want to share your thoughts about it?

BMW 1-Series by AC Schnitzer Side ViewThis BMW 1-Series by AC Schnitzer has impressive motorsport qualities and it has just debuted at the Essen Motor Show. I’m sure that there is rarely anyone who could expect a brute power from the ‘smallest’ in any range, but the case here is exactly the opposite. Since the tuners at AC Schnitzer were involved, there is literally no doubt that we could expect something even worth of race track competition.

M50d Power Instead the Standard Unit

Precisely, the experts have equipped the car with the M50d power plant and impressive performance upgrade. This powerplant is originally found in the 5-series, and this is the reason why the “Diesel M-Technik” unit propels the 1-series a long way forward.

In addition, after the performance upgrade the concept engine of the ACS1 5.0d now delivers 400 hp (294 kW) and 800 Nm (592 kW) of torque. So, it is no surprise that this “mini” could jump faster than many sports cars out there. Precisely, it is capable of 0-100 km/h acceleration time in just 4.5 seconds. By the way, the acceleration from 80-180 km/h is even more impressive: the ACS1 5.0d takes just 7.9 second for this.

    Other Upgrades

BMW 1-Series by AC Schnitzer Rear View

Other upgrade goodies that contribute for better performance include AC Schnitzer charge-coolers and sports catalysts, and tuning company’s logo over the engine. Well, the last one might not boost the horses but it definitely says whom to thank for the increase in power and speed.

In addition, the 1-Series also received sports silencer and two chromed tailpipes in “Racing”, “Racing Evo”, “Sport” or “Sport Black” styles, in right and left combination. Furthermore, the “cornering comfort” is provided via the in-house made racing suspension, which is also entirely adjustable in height. In details, it delivers lowering by 35 – 45 mm at the front and 40 – 50 mm at the rear. Anotherr option is the AC Schnitzer sports suspension and suspension spring kit that contributes for a 30 mm lowering at the front and rear.

    Exterior Looks Better?

BMW 1-Series by AC Schnitzer Front View

Are there any aero components in this project? The answer is positive. The tuners used a combination of two-piece AC Schnitzer front spoiler elements, the front spoiler, chromed front grille in the export version, and rear roof wing. There is even a rear skirt, which has received a protective film and carbon mirror cover. The AC Schnitzer design stripes round out the exterior enhancements included for the bodywork of the 1-Series.

    But How About the Interior?

AC Schnitzer also changed the interior of the 1-series BMW via the “Black Line” aluminium cover for the “i-Drive” system controller, AC Schnitzer key-holder, a gear knob with digital gear display, the “Black Line” aluminium or leather gear knob, “Black Line” aluminium handbrake handle, foot rest and aluminium pedal set, and velour foot mats.

This is yet another very cool project by AC Schnitzer shown at the Essen Motor Show and we are very excited to share it with you. The guys are really doing their job just great and we definitely hope to hear from them more often!

  • 2015 BMW Compact Sedan Concept Made its Debut at Guangzhou Show

2015 BMW Compact Sedan Concept BWM Group decided that Auto Guangzhou 2015 is the perfect spot to demonstrate brand’s vision for the future of the four-door sedan compact segment. The BMW Concept Compact Sedan represents bold approach towards life of the young generation of China and will deliver confidence, dynamics and superior levels of driving pleasure. So, let’s check it out.

    Exterior design

The compact and flexible Concept brings that well-known BMW appearance. And with brand’s signature proportions, this sweetie has a lot to offer: sweeping bonnet with long wheelbase for massive appearance, slightly set-back greenhouse to underline the sporty spirit, long and distinctive swage line, dynamic Hofmeister kink, surfaces with enhanced depth, soft-touch handles and overall elegant, but yet aggressive look.

The familiar form of the kidneys and their size contributes to the overall distinctive character. And the hexagonal and dynamically “sawn-off” twin circular LED headlights create visual link between the kidneys and bring that beautiful and stylish look. Furthermore, the V-shaped central air intaker is the starting point for a design theme that splits the lower section of the front end onto three sections and give it even deeper visual impact.

    2015 BMW Compact Sedan Concept

The rear, just like the front demonstrates massive and aggressive, but still stylish view with all these lateral lines and vibrant horizontal light and shadowed surfaces. The slim and long rear lights with the well-known L shape further enhance the stunning looks of the vehicle. And the rear apron reduces the gap between road and rear end, while the chrome insert that widens towards the outer edges adds some classy and stylish accents.

    Interior design

The interior of the BMW Concept Compact Sedan is fully driver-oriented: all lines, components, forms and controls are placed on strategic spots, while the prominent lines deliver that “cone of vision” concept. This affair is further continued by the Heads Up Display with combiner screen that delivers all the needed information in seconds.

Furthermore, the exclusive Nappa leather, the open-pored wood and the brushed aluminum bring that feel of exclusivity and elegance.

    2015 BMW Compact Sedan Concept

In terms of technical features, BMW Concept Compact Sedan will deliver climate control system, gearshift lever and iDrive system. All this along with functional steering wheel, centre stack, central console and door openers that are operated by using the backlit touch-sensitive surfaces.

  • Did VOS Just Develop the Fastest Diesel BMW Vehicle?

2015 VOS BMW M 550dVOS company at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Neckarwestheim is a brand, known for its extraordinary power improvements and upgrades and completely reflects its own VISION OF SPEED slogan. This is also one of the few brands that works with unique vehicles in order to make them even more interesting and more appealing to the public eye. And now the engineering team decided to do something similar with the BMW M 550d. So, let’s check out what the end result is.

The BMW M 550d offers a total of 381hp (280kW) and 740 Nm of torque via its six-cylinder in-line unit. This titanic output would seem enough for many people, but not for VOS engineers. The team made some upgrades that significantly boost the output and the end result is 450hp (331kW) and 800 Nm of torque. The vehicle also received AEZ complete wheel set in 8.5×20 and 9.5×20 inches with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in 245/35-20 and 275/30-20.

    2015 VOS BMW M 550d

But this powerful engine also needs and powerful brake system. That is why VOS geared the BMW vehicle with Brembo Brake discs with 395×36 mm of diameter and four piston fix calipers along with high temperature proof brake pads that provide higher fading stability and enhanced brake force dosage. And the sporty fairytale is completed with the additional H&R performance springs and additional lowering by 35mm.

  • BBM Motorsport Changes the Entire BMW 330d E91 [VIDEO]

2015 BBM Motorsport BMW 350D 3T Front and Side ViewBBM Motorsport experts are back with an exclusive BMW project, which also features very impressive video that I urge you to watch! It is featured below and it definitely gives and idea of the capabilities of the tuning done over the BMW model. Speaking of which, this time under their attention is the E91 330d LCI BMW that has very strong standard characteristics, namely its standard 245 hp (180 kW).

However, true to the desire for more, the specialists decided to do something about this “low” output and to bring out more from the powerful engine. So, they basically proceeded with two steps to almost double the power ratings.

    Changing the Engine. Literally.

    2015 BBM Motorsport BMW 350D 3T Engine

Regardless of the money, the team at BBM Motorsport installed the M50d engine with three liters of capacity and three additional turbochargers. So this resulted in a ‘serial’ horsepower of 381 (280 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque.

SEE ALSO: Power Version of BMW M6 Cabrio by BBM Motorsport [VIDEO]

The next step was chip tuning. Many might not know that this means improving the output via software optimization, that is very popular nowadays and it is also very fruitful. The result leaves us speechless because it is 440 hp (324kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque and they have been verified via Dynojet performance test.

A BMW 8-speed sports automatic transmission translates the power to the asphalt, thus helping the car accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph (62 mph) within 4.9 s. In comparison, the standard 330d series does this in 6.1 s. But this is not everything we want to share with you. The car can also burst from 100 to 200 kmph (60 to 120 mph) within 9.8 s (330d series 17.3 s) on its way to a maximum speed of 296 kmph (184 mph), which has been unleashed from 330d series 250 kmph (156 mph).

We should also mention some technical details regarding the other changes made here. Precisely, the front and rear axle has been substituted with those of the BMW M3 E92. In addition, the LSD has values of 0 to 100 %, thus making the final drive ratio of 2.81 to 1.

Furthermore, BBM Motorposrt also changed the wheel-tire-combination, which is Z-Performance ZP10 rims in the dimension of 8.5×19 ET35 with Michelin Pilot Sport sized 225/35-19 fitted up front and 9.5×19 ET35 with 255/30-19 on the rear. All this has been supported by new KW Clubsport variant coilovers with adjustable suspension strut domes and Stoptech braking system with six pistons and 380×35 mm brake discs at the front and four pistons and 355×32 mm brake discs at the rear.

We can also hardly ignore the new exhaust system, which features two tubes in 335d look and comes with active sound. Still to mention is the exclusive Arlon foil wrapping in blue metallic, applied by SFT Carwrap experts.

At last, the interior includes the following changes: BMW Performance steering wheel with Alcantara and gear shift paddles, the BMW Performance Recaro seats and the original BMW M3 E92 speedometer. Now have a look at the video below and get inspired!
