  • Alfa Romeo 159 2.0 JTDM

2011 Alfa Romeo 159 comes with a new 136BHP diesel engine. The 2.0 liter JTDM has superb fuel consumption, good performance and it is very clean, too.

The 2.0 JTDM develops 136BHP and 350Nm of torque at 1750RPM. It emits just 134g/km of CO2, which complies with EU5. The power unit achieves an excellent balance between strong performance, running costs, comfort and driving flexibility over long distances.

Furthermore, the 2011 Alfa 159 comes with new sports cloth upholstery and a top-quality sports leather in black or natural, as well as a cabin environment which is further enriched with elegant chrome-plated three-layer treatment or brush black aluminium inserts on the dashboard, on the mouldings and on the central console.

The car is available in three trim levels: Turismo, Lusso and TI.

Turismo specification features six airbags, electric front and rear windows, dual zone automatic climate control, new sports cloth upholstery, cruise control, front fog lights, car radio with CD/MP3 player and eight speakers, Blue&Me™ (Bluetooth® hands-free system), black leather steering with remote controls, black leather gear knob, 16” alloy wheels, and a host of safety features and detailed design attributes.

Lusso adds leather upholstery, visibility pack, sports dials with white illumination, darkened interior headlining, black aluminium centre console and steering wheel trim inserts, dark chrome painted dashboard and door trim inserts, rear parking sensors, stainless steel kick plates and 17” Multi-spoke design alloy wheels.

TI has enormous 19”  sport alloy wheels, side skirts, lowered sports suspension and red painted brake callipers. The interior boasts black Sports leather and Alcantara, sports pedal unit in aluminium and kick plates with the TI logo and sports steering wheel in leather with remote controls, leather gear knob and leather handbrake lever. For an innovative, hi-tech look, new carbon fibre inserts on the central console and steering wheel may be ordered as options.

2011 Alfa Romeo 159 is also available with two more powerful engines – a 1750 TBi turbocharged petrol with 200BHP and a 170BHP version of the 2.0 JTDM diesel.

The new Alfa 159 offers as standard a vehicle dynamic stability control system (VDC), including an ASR anti-slip function, Hill Holder hill start assistance and emergency braking assistance, plus six airbags – 2 front, 2 sidebags and 2 window bags.
