Meet the Strongest Audi TT RS on the Planet!

HPerformance Audi TT RS Front View Despite, the strong start of the auto show in Los Angeles, there are other ‘things’ going on in the automotive world and we should not deprive you from them. An instance is the latest project of the HPerformance based on the Audi TT RS. As a matter of fact, the tuning team claims that this is the worldwide strongest TT RS ever produced and the reason for this is that it pumps out 750 PS.

The team has already dealt with this model, but the horses it achieved were no more than 510 (read in the article in the link below). However, this time these talented guys were brave enough to create a TT RS worth of the number 750. And it might really be the strongest among all Audi TT RS cars out there.

At the heart of the customization is the modified GTX-35 turbocharger. It was applied to an in-house-made exhaust manifold. How about the cooling? It happens via company’s own charge air cooler. The air feed is guaranteed by a 90 mm air intake and it goes out through 90 mm Clubsport exhaust system.

Furthermore, the fuel feed was also ‘touched’ a little bit with the help of a modified high-pressure fuel pump and new optimized injectors. Audi R8 ceramics brake system was also installed, in order to tame the wild 750 PS.

At last, prepare to see more from the TT RS soon, because HPerformance is currently working on a tuning kit, which will trespass this power range too. Stay tuned!

Garage Italia Customs Unveils a Unique Alfa Romeo Vehicle

2015 Garage Italia Customs Alfa Romeo 4C Aggressive, elegant, beautiful and powerful. These are the words that best describe the latest masterpiece by Lapo Elkann’s Garage Italia Customs. The engineering team unveiled the La Furiosa at Dubai Motor Show and has already received incredible positive feedback.

The sweetie is apparently based on the Alfa Romeo 4C and proudly demonstrates stunning exterior. There are carbon fiber elements, like the roof, special Accursio red finish and all this dominated by neatly done gradient approach. And the gold trimmed Alfa Romeo wheels further contribute to the one-of-a-kind exterior looks. And what is also incredibly sweet is the fact that there are special colored brake calipers with white Alfa Romeo lettering. Attention to detail has always been a sign of comprehensive and passionate work by all the engineering team.

On the other hand, the interior is completely dominated by red Alcantara upholstery. The red magic covers the central console, door panels and numerous more smaller details. What is also interesting about the cabin are the black Alcantara seat inserts and the exclusive two-tone steering wheel. And let’s not forget the one-of-a-kind floor mats.

And what about the drivetrain system? Maybe this is the only part of the whole machine that remains untouched by the masterful engineers. However, the vehicle is geared with a 1.7-liter, four-cylinder unit that produces a total of 240hp (176kW) and 258 lb-ft of torque. It is paired to a dual-clutch transmission. The vehicle goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 258 km/h (160mph).

Mercedes Has Just Teased the Newest SL Debuting at L.A. Auto Show

Mercedes-Benz SL teaser Mercedes-Benz has just released the first teaser picture of their latest SL from the model year 2017. The result: the world went mad! Of course, this has happened on their social media pages, so the feedback was really good. The company released a dimmed photo of the front of the SL and a few words, saying that this is the new appearance of the automotive icon.

As we can see and as Mercedes-Benz said, the SL has a brand new front view (a highlighted variant of the image is featured below), including one of the most beautiful additions in company’s design philosophy, namely the diamond grille. The last official words were that the car would have its world premiere at the L.A. Autoshow.

But what we do we actually see except for the diamond grille? First, the redesigned hood, which features simpler lines and smoother forms. Next are the redesigned headlights, which look a little bit smaller. And have you spotted the front bumper? The difference from the ongoing SL is that this one actually includes four inlets.

There must be even more updates featured on the newest SL, but unfortunately there is no official information regarding this matter. However, we don’t have to worry about anything else, since the L.A. Auto Show will start in a week, on 17^th of November. So we just have to be patient to get the whole picture.

The Super Bug or How KBR Motorsport and SEK-Carhifi Made the Most Inspiring Volkswagen Beetle

KBR Motorsport & SEK-Carhifi Volkswagen Beetle Front and Side View KBR Motorsport and SEK-Carhifi has gathered together to create the most inspiring Volkswagen Beetle we have seen so far. It is not coincidental that they also call it the ‘Super Bug’. A lot of modifications have been happening here and we can’t wait to tell you all about them. What you have to know in the beginning is that the KBR Motorsport took care of the classic tuning of the Beetle, while the SEK Carhifi team installed a custom high-end sound system using Ground Zero and Pioneer components.

The first thing that the experts had to do was to install big round wheel arches with huge wheels to fill them out. Therefore they chose 9.5J x 20-inch Oxigin 14 Oxrock multi-spoke alloy wheels in black finish with white foil, and then they have shod them with 235/30ZR20 Hankook Ventus S1 Evo tyres.

Furthermore, the Beetle also received better red front brakes and four-pot alloy brake calipers that clamp vented discs with surface grooves. The rear brakes are standard. They have been only painted in red to match the front ones. H&R coil-over suspension kit lowered the car further.

Under the hood of the VW, sits the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It was fitted with a turbo-back three-inch diameter stainless steel sports exhaust to reduce back-pressure, before remapping the ECU. Thanks to the engine dyno, it now shows 265 hp (195 kW) and 415 Nm (306 lb-ft) of torque.

KBR Motorsport did also another thing, this time regarding the interior. They have replaced the factory front seats with figure-hugging Recaro Sportster CS sports seats whose backs are color-coded white to match the car’s bodywork and interior trim panels.

The sound system delivered and installed by the experts at SEK Carhifi is more than spectacular. The 1,700 W sound system is actually Pioneer’s dashboard mounted flagship AVIC-F77DAB Navigation/AV head-unit, which feeds its audio signals to the three power amplifiers via a Ground Zero GZCS 6-8DSP eight-channel DSP unit housed in the passenger footwell.

The 6.5-inch mid-bass units replace the OE speakers in the door panels. Alubutyl dampening has been applied to the latter in order to eliminate any spurious resonances. Moreover, opening the rear hatch reveals that the luggage compartment which now houses 10-inch diameter Ground Zero GZPW 10SPL subwoofer. Its power comes from a single 600 W GNZA 1.2250XII monoblock amplifier mounted under the boot floor.

Tesla Version 7.0: Next Step for Brand’s Autopilot

Tesla Version 7.0 Software Tesla has been equipping its Model S with hardware to allow introduction of self-driving technology and this has been happening from October last year. This important step in the development of the brand expresses its commitment to refining that enable self-driving capability.

Precisely, the self-driving technology comprises of forward radar, a forward-looking camera, high-precision digitally-controlled electric assist braking system and 12 long-range ultrasonic sensors. The sensors are mounted in such way that they can sense 16 feet around the car in every direction and at all speeds.

Tesla Version 7.0 software has been just released, allowing the aforementioned tools to deliver a range of active safety and convenience features. In addition, they all work in conjunction with the automated driving capabilities, which are known to Model S drivers.

More About the new Autopilot System

Tesla’s autopilot involving four different feedback modules: camera, radar, ultrasonics, and GPS. They mutually reinforce each other and at the same time offer realtime data feedback from the Tesla fleet. Why is this necessary? Simply because it ensures that the system is continually learning and improving upon itself.

The autopilot allows Model S these several action: to steer within a lane, to change lanes with the simple tap of a turn signal, and to manage speed by using active and traffic-aware cruise control. The motors, brakes, and steering are digitally controlled, thus helping the car avoid collisions from the front and sides, and wandering off the road.

In addition, all features in Version 7.0 allow scanning for parking spaces and alerting in case there is available one. Parallel parking happens on command.

Furthermore, Tesla says that the autopilot functions like the systems that airplane pilots use when conditions are clear. The driver is still responsible for the car and has control over it, but is assisted by the autopilot in any case scenario. In other words, Tesla Version 7.0 software is the next step for Tesla Autopilot.

Honda Racing Team Showed Their Full Potential at BTCC

Honda Civic Type R BTCC The latest Honda Civic Type R received its honors and plaudits, as Honda Yuasa Racing team nailed the drivers and manufacturers championship at the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship in the final at Brands Hatch.

And going even forward with the gained momentum, the latest Civic Type R was especially created with the kind help of World Touring Car Team. This means that all the analysis and feedback from the event was processed and helped to improve the style and performance for the first competitive year.

As you might remember, the mass-produced version of the latest Civic Type R was first unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show back in March and some weeks later was introduced to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Cars Event. This was the moment when Honda Yuasa Racing team asked for help the UK Manufacturing (HUM) for the preparations and the fine tunes for the big race itself.

Callaway Corvette GT3-R Is Ready To Rule Over The Tracks

2016 Callaway Corvette GT3-R This weekend’s ADAC GT Masters Season Finale had something incredible to demonstrate. Indeed the unveiling of Callaway Competition’s latest Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R. The global debut was followed by a brief presentation and media feedback. As you might know, the successor of the C6-based Callaway Z06.R GT3 was first demonstrated to public back in October 3, 2015 at the Hockenheimring in Germany.

As you might know, creators of GT race vehicles, Callaway Competition, are based in Leingarten, Germany and do have that vast technical know-how experience of technology and broad network of partners. And maybe these are the elements needed to create such incredible machines. And now, after almost two years of elaborate planning and intensive development, Callaway Competition completed the first C7 GT3-R a week ago.

The stunning and bold visuals are a result of the collaboration between the well-known Canadian designer Paul Deutchman and the owners Giovanni Ciccone and Ernest Wöhr. Other designers and engineers devoted to the project are Mike Gramke, Uwe Hoffmann, Florian Möhring and Andre Zanke. And thanks to these and some other gentlemen, we now can relish the stylish and powerful machine.

And the result of the collaborative work is obvious: the GT3 racer is especially created to meet all FIA rules and regulations. The heart of the beast is a Chevy-based 6.2-liter V8 unit that produces a total of 600 hp (441 kW) that works in perfect harmony with a special X-Track 6-speed sequential transmission with paddle-shift technology. The developing team is also proud to say that this is one of the most flexible and responsive drivetrain systems that they have ever created.

Honda Will Unveil Its Latest Vehicles at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show

Honda Honda team has announced an extended list of concept and production vehicles, along with motorcycles that will be demonstrated at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show, held from 28 October to 8 November 2015.

Furthermore, the brand focuses on giving solutions and improving the everyday life of Honda users. And using the slogan “The Power of Dreams”, the crew proudly demonstrates its latest and greatest releases. So, let’s check out what will people at the show witness.

This is Honda’s first production model with a fuel-cell powered system. This powertrain layout enables a full cabin features, but maybe the most important is that the FCV offers a cruising range of more than 700 km. The specifications can also act as a mobile powerplant thanks to the external power feeding inventer. This all means that it will produce electric energy to the communities in case of an emergency.

New models for Japan

With the intertia, gained from the strong summer season, the Civic Type R will finally make its Japanese debut at the show. Honda will also display the latest S660 open-top sports mini-vehicle. It is exclusively sold in Japan and it is especially crafted to deliver the same pleasure and excitement as the fully-fledged sport vehicles. But with a compact and efficient package. How cool is that?

Furthermore, Honda will demonstrate some concept vehicles that include the Honda Project 2&4, geared with RC213V. As you might remember, this vehicle debuted at 2015 FIAA earlier in September. The other concept vehicles that will be displayed at the show are Honda’s WANDER STAND and WANDER WALKER. Both of the machines are designed to deliver optimum mobility and flexibility among pedestrians.

2016 Hyundai Elantra Has Finally Showed its First Teaser

Hyundai Motor proudly shows a glimpse of what it will be the forthcoming Elantra. The picture shows a modern vehicle with stylish lines and confident stance. This dynamic exterior concept has already received positive feedback. Some studies even suggest that the vehicle’s striking appearance help the vehicle to rank ahead of some key rivals.

Designers really went for that distinctive and incredible style and presence. With the straight side lines and the nicely done headlights this vehicle surely is not for everyone. The elegantly done body work stays on some beautiful wheels that contribute to the overall aggressive, yet elegant appearance.

Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer at Hyundai Motor Company says that the new Elantra’s unique design and character places the car in a class of its own. He also says that the innovative appearance reflects Hyundai Motor’s vision for design. He also ensures us the vehicle will set new benchmark for comfort, fashion and sporty feel.

As you can see, the vehicle will come with big hexagon grille and slim and elegant headlights, that together contribute for that sporty and aggressive appearance. Furthermore the straight and clear body lines continue the stylish yet sporty affair.

2015 Galpin Speedster: Could this Rocket Fly to the Moon?

2015 Galping Rocket Speedster Mustang 2015 Rocket Speedster Concept was today unveiled at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Galpin Auto Sports and Henrik Fisker demonstrated the convertible carbon fiber-bodied Mustang, which is intended for low-volume production.

The Rocket edition underwent through a special transformation which results on converting the four-speed vehicle into a two-seat speedster. And along with the elegant visuals the revised Mustang comes also and with some stunning power. the Concept can produce a total of 725-hp via the V8 engine. It is also geared with a special engine and brake cooling system.

Furthermore, the vehicle, constructed by GFMI Metalcrafters, Inc. offers and numerous aerodynamic elements and special engineering solutions for optimal efficiency and aerodynamic features. For example, there are two additional air scoops, mounted on the rear fenders and special oversized 15-inch Brembo Gran Turismo high performance brakes.

As you can see, the vehicle has some influences from the ’60s era, but it also contains some modern additions. For example, the carbon fiber elements and the modern cooling system. The Concept’s exterior comes with a sweet deep metallic finish and demonstrates some aggressive and massive stance. As you might know, the original design was first unveiled bacin in 2014 at the Los Angeles Auto Show and since then it has been receiving some nice positive feedback both from media and vehicle fans. And just four and a half months later, the first production model was proudly unveiled at the 2015 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

But there is and another good news for buyers. The vehicle can be purchased directly from Galpin Ford or through one of several hand-picked dealers across the country.

2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax Will Come with GM’s Cleanest Diesel Engine

2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax, the world’s fastest-selling truck now comes with additional upgrade: a turbo-diesel engine. This will make the 2016 Duramax’s fuel consumption efficiency even greater. So let’s check out what is going on here.

With engine like the turbo-diesel, the vehicle will be producing 369 lb-ft of torque, via 2.8Liter heart. Furthermore, Colorado’s maximum trailering capacity rises to 7,700 pounds on 2WD models and is expected to take the lead in its class, when it comes to fuel economy. And one more thing. This is the cleanest diesel truck engine, that General Motors has ever created.

The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will go on sale this fall and will be offered in LT and Z71 Crew Cab models, respectively with 2WD and 4WD. And let’s see what else it will offer, along with the new powerplant unit.

Smart diesel exhaust brake system and standard Hyda-Matic 6L50 six-speed automatic transmission are now part of the standard equipment, along with the Centrifugal Pendulum Vibration Absorber. Furthermore, the Z82 trailering package is standard and includes hitch receiver and seven-pin connector, while the refreshed and restyled integrated trailer brake controller is standard on some and exclusive on other models from the lineup.

The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will also include a 3.42 rear axle ratio as standard and there is a new, electronically controlled transfer case for the 4WD models.

Colorado’s turbo-diesel engine will not only bring power and efficiency, but it will also ensure smooth and pleasurable drive. 2015 Kia Sedona Won Another Prize!

2015 Kia Sedona comes with nice and stylish design, flexible character and overall confident character. And the debut was followed by a record first-half sales and overall positive feedback from media and customers. And the success with the model doesn’t end here. The 2015 Sedona has won the J.D. Power Automotive Performance and Execution and Layout (APEAL) award in the Minivan segment. This particular model also won second place at the 2015 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study. It also received highest score among the non-luxury segments.

The J.D. Power APEAL study measures the owner’s overall satisfaction of the vehicle within the first 90 days of the ownership. This interesting test shows some really interesting results. There are a total of ten categories: exterior, interior, storage, audio, seats, heating and ventilation, driving dynamics, powertrain, visibility, and fuel economy.

The vehicle is available with five trim levels, that are L, LX, EX, SX and SX Limited and a choice of seven-passenger or eight-passenger seating configuration. With all these trims and configurations, there is surely anything for anyone. The heart of the 2015 Sedona is Kia’s trusty 3.3-Liter V6 powerplant.
