  • Bentley New Continental GT

2019 Wheelsandmore Bentley New Continental GT - Front Angle

After Startech and Arden released their conversion parts Wheelsandmore has also completed its tuning program for the current Continental GT 3S. Without touching the body shapes and silhouettes, the German tuning company achieves a harmonious and powerful upgrade for the elegant gran tourer.

Away from current discussions about reducing fuel consumption and emissions the current New Continental GT still provides a W12 bi-turbo engine with 6 liters and 635 hp output. With 900nm torque the four-wheel drive pushes the coupe impressive and passes the 100 kmh mark already after 3.7s. Now the Wheelsandmore program offers two different upgrade levels for the power-hungry customers. The increasement is gained either by remapping the control units or available as a very easy to install plug-and-play variant with an additional control unit. In stage 1 the noble tuner transforms the power into 751hp and 1050nm of torque. In the second stage, the refiner drives even sharper parameters and adapts them to his flap-controlled exhaust system. With 343 kmh top speed and 795 hp engine power with a maximum of 1100 nm torque, the New Continental then turns posthumously into a real Porsche killer. The acceleration sprint from 0-100kmh is finished after 3,28s with the stage 2 upgrade tuning.

After extensive development work the Wheelsandmore technicians have succeeded in developing a full-sounding, throughput-optimized and TUV-approved exhaust system. The particle filter remains completely in the original exhaust system. The original pre-muffler dummy is connected by voluminous pipes to the flap-controlled rear silencer. The result is a rich, dull rumble, as befits a luxury coupe of this class.

Technically the New Continental GT 3S uses lot of known parts from current Porsche Panamera. It is therefore hardly surprising that the axles, brakes and wheel connection dimensions of Porsche are the same with high offsets and less space to the outside and brake calipers. In conjunction with the already immense speed and the mounted 21 inch wheels, the tuner Wheelsandmore had no other option as developing a special new 22 inch wheel for the 3S. After many rough designs and countless simulations, the manufactory has designed its new model B-Sport in 9.5 and 11.5×22 inches for the new Bentley. Available in silver and black, the classic Y-spoke designed wheel looks very filigree on the bulky New Continental and visually at least as big as a 23-inch wheel due to the spokes reaching to the outer edge and the concave contour. The matching tires are coming from the high performance specialists from Pirelli, where they have homologated tires in sizes 275/35/22 and 315/30/22 up to the vmax of 343 kmh.

Lowering height of the stock air suspension is possible due a new plug-and-play lowering module, which can easily be plugged into the chassis circuit. The lowering module can be controlled both by original suspension control from the interior as well as by innovative mobile APP. The APP is suitable for all Iphone devices and smartphones with Android operating system.

  • Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Tuning

2019 Wheelsandmore Aston Martin DBS Superleggera - Front Angle

Although other tuning companies are providing tuning components for the sports cars from Aston Martin, Wheelsandmore from Germany is still the first address when it comes to the refinement of all Aston Martin models since 2004. With the conversion of the current top model, a DBS Superleggera, Wheelsandmore proves once again how a tuning can combine different styles, in the end sporty discreet, yet stylistically and technically decisively improved.

With 725hp engine power, the sleek Gran Tourer is without a doubt one of the most powerful 2 + 2 seaters on the planet. Responsible for this performance and 900Nm torque is the self-developed 5.2l bi-turbo V12 engine. Once the subject of forced breathing comes into play, the tuner’s heart beats faster and the software developers are happy to modify the corresponding parameters to increase performance, in order to be able to offer a steady increase in performance. With the control units of the new generation, it already requires appropriate know-how to be able to make modifications. Wheelsandmore offers both, an increase in performance in the course of classic chiptuning, as well as an easy-to-install plug-and-play solution with an additional control unit. In both cases, the torque increases by 130Nm and the power grows by 105 additional horsepower. The standard top speed remains unchanged even after the modification with 340 km/h. The tuning upgrade is offered for the price of 4.193 EURO each.

Since the DBS Superleggera is largely based on the DB11 and Wheelsandmore has launched a program with special rims for this model already in the year 2017, it was unproblematic for the noble tuner to develop appropriate rims for the super sports car. From the multi-part rim program, the model F.I.W.E. was specially developed for the DBS Superleggera for the first time sizing 22 inches. In order to meet the customer’s demand for the most discreet yet appealingly sporty look, the Aston Martin tuning expert customized the rims on the front axle in 10×22″ and measuring 12×22″ on the drive axle. The road contact is made by high performance Pirelli tires in 265/30/22 and 315/25/22 inches with the appropriate release up to the maximum speed limit.

From the tuner’s point of view, these measures are exactly those that make the DBS Superleggera an absolute supercar. As the rim parts are always made to customer specifications in color and surface, it can be assumed that each finished Aston Martin DBS Superleggera from Wheelsandmore will ultimately be an individual one-off item according to customer specifications. Rims can certainly be assembled by many wheel companies in the world. But such extreme sizes for the latest vehicles with German TUV approval are only available at Wheelsandmore!

  • Wheelsandmore Lamborghini Urus Tuning

2019 Wheelsandmore Lamborghini Urus Tuning - Side

With 650 horsepower and 850Nm of torque the Urus ranged at the top of all SUV power cars until the Bentayga Speed was launched. Wheelsandmore lifts the Urus back again up to the pole position of this segment and offers 3 different upgrades, which makes a visit to the tuner from the Rhineland not necessary because all components can be installed without costly conversions to the car. All upgrades can be implemented either with an easy to install additional control unit or by remapping the ecu. In Stage 1 the tuner achieves a massive performance boost of additional 125hp and 100Nm of torque. By using 200 cell sport catalytic converters the engine power is increased with another 15hp / 15Nm in stage 2. If the catalysts are exchanged with replacement pipes the power grows to finally 808hp and 972Nm in stage 3. With prices between 2.521 – 5.469 EURO there is certainly still budget available for a throughput-optimized flap exhaust system. The exhaust system for the price of 4.029 EURO.

Like many other manufacturers of sporty vehicles, VAG subsidiary Lamborghini has realized that many customers now want to have the largest possible wheels for an ideal appearance of their vehicle and that those can live with a slight loss of comfort. After in the year 2018 the Urus was available only with maximum 22-inch wheels, it´s offered since 2019 optionally with 23-inch wheels. Therefore, the challenge for the tuner is not only to develop the gear train dimensionally, but also visually appealing than the manufacturer. Wheelsandmore mounted the Continental UHP tires in sizes 295/35/23 and 335/30/23 on forged rims measuring 10.5×23 and 12.0×23 inches to accommodate the original body perfectly without additional parts.

The complete wheel set with TPMS is offered at the price of 9.999 EURO.

With the aid of a plug-and-play module that is easy to install, the driver has the option of setting the chassis height to the millimeter with the help of a smartphone APP. The suspension tuning module, which has already been successfully used in the Audi Q7, can be rewarded with EUR 1.679 at the luxury tuner.

  • Nissan GTR R35 Tuning

2019 Wheelsandmore Nissan GTR R35 - Front Angle

Since almost 10 years Nissan drives the renowned sports car manufacturers from Zuffenhausen, Maranello and Affalterbach with their R35 GT-R in terms of longitudinal acceleration to insanity. The all-wheel-driven monster with its V6 bi-turbo engine passes the 100 km/h border in less than 3 seconds. A dream car for the players on their gaming consoles and for acceleration junkies anyway. You can buy it like that and indulge in the mix of adrenaline and endorphins without restraint… Or are you looking for the absolute extra ordinary, an optic to melt away, mouth lock and “ear”- gasm included. Then luxury refiner Wheelsandmore from Baesweiler in Germany with their tuning program for the Nissan GTR is exactly the right expert to provide more “Wows” and “Ahhs” by riding out through the climes.
The standard engine power of 570hp and 637Nm is upgraded at Wheelsandmore in 5 different power levels as follows:

    • Stage I: Through optimized software and a F1 air filter kit Wheelsandmore generates 605hp and 700nm out of the 2017 GTR engine
    • Stage 2: In combination with sports catalysts, the tuner achieves 630hp and 800Nm of torque
    • Stage 3: Combined with modified exhaust system and catalyst replacement pipes the tuner measured 650hp and tight 830Nm of torque
    • Stage 4: In addition to Stage3, the turbochargers are replaced, other wastegate cans and more powerful gasoline pumps were installed. With sports catalysts and adaptation of the transmission control approximately 700hp and 850Nm were measured
    • Stage 5 – CrankZilla – As in Stage 4 but with catalyst replacement tubes and with the appropriate software finally 740hp and 900nm were gained.

Of course Wheelsandmore recognized and respects the internet clips of GT-R conversions with over 1000 hp but with 740hp the GTR driving machine is tuned up to the maximum to be handled safe on the track.

The valve flap exhaust system can optionally be ordered without catalytic converters, but handle the gas pedal very carefully when the damper is open, as the system otherwise sounds infernally loud to attract attention …

With the F.I.W.E. wheels the unique german manufacturer of multipart forged rims presents a provocative striking symbiosis of noble, wide and yet consistent. The 3-piece rims turn on the steering axle measuring 9.5×21 inches and on the rear in proud 11.0×21 inches. 255/35/21 and 295/30/21 tires from Continental ensure the contact with the roadway. Wheelsandmore adapted the wheel center finish analogous to the advertising lettering and the brake system in a color mixture of bronze and copper and finalized the rim outer beds with a discreet noble carbon look surface. The optical appearance is rounded off by height-adjustable lowering springs from KW, which reduce the center of gravity of the racer about 30mm.

    2020 Rolls-Royce Sportive Collection1

During 2020, an unprecedented year, the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective – a team of engineers, designers and craftspeople based at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England – brought the unique visions of the marque’s global clientele to life with outstanding levels of creativity, craft and imagination. Almost every one of the motor cars created in 2020 was tailored by this Bespoke division, a notable achievement considering the backdrop of challenging and unforeseen headwinds.

At the onset of the pandemic, Rolls-Royce designers and clients alike found themselves confined to the safety of their homes.  The unique, highly personal relationships that our Bespoke Collective has with our clients did not change, however. This led to a change in source of inspiration from travel and its associated items of luxury grandeur, to rich and textural surroundings of the home, architecture and moments of stillness found in nature.

Remarkably, Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke division achieved a new record in 2020. Faced with the challenges of the year, clients have harnessed the creative outlet of Rolls-Royce Bespoke to seek solace and invest time, a rediscovered commodity, to introspectively commission legacies that reflect precious items of historical and familial significance. On average, Bespoke commissions saw a robust increase over 2019, with a marked growth of personalised elements woven into the fabric of each motor car, providing further substance and sentimentality.

What follows is a snapshot of some of the finest examples of Bespoke design and craftsmanship completed by the luxury house throughout 2020.

  • Renault 5 Prototype

    2021 Renault 5 Prototype1

Renault will continue its leadership in the transition to cleaner and more sustainble energy through electrified and hydrogen solutions, offering the greenest mix of vehicles in Europe by 2025. As for technology, Renault will take advantage of the “Software République”, an open ecosystem dedicated to software, data, cybersecurity and microelectronics. This will fuel the Renault line-up with enhanced connected services. Value will come through a wider variety of vehicles in the C-segment, the development of cutting-edge technologies and new lifecycle business opportunities.

Innovation has been at the heart of the Renault brand for 120 years and the brand has the assets to support its ambition to be the ‘Nouvelle Vague’. It is the leader in the European EV market with more than 10 years of in-depth experience in electric mobility, services and more than 300,000 vehicles sold.

In this time, Renault also invented E-TECH, a hybrid technology including more than 150 patents and drawing on the brand’s electrical and F1 experience. Then there is  the Software Factory, which is home to more than 1,000 engineers specialising in software, data and cloud services, soon to be joined by many others. Meanwhile, the recently-repurposed Flins Re-Factory is Europe’s first
mobility-specific circular economy plant which further embodies Renault’s modernity. But all this is just the beginning.

“At Renault, we embrace the waves of disruption and create our own ‘Nouvelle Vague’. It’s about bringing modernity to the automotive industry. We’ll move to an energy brand, strengthening our EV leadership with the Electro Pole project and investing in Hydrogen, aiming at achieving the greenest mix in Europe by 2025. We’ll also be a tech brand, through in-house innovation and through the Software République, an open ecosystem dedicated to develop a European expertise in key fields such as data or cybersecurity. This will give us a competitive edge as a service brand, with high-tech connected services, onboard and offboard. And this vision of modernity, we anchor it in France. Because as a brand, we know our soul and our strength lie in our origins. The new R5 is the Nouvelle Vague: it’s strongly connected to its history, and yet it’s the future, making electric cars popular.”
Luca de Meo, CEO Groupe Renault

    Three fields of competitiveness

    Renault will evolve into:

    – A Tech brand, with an ecosystem approach aimed at creating world-leading, next-generation mobility OEMs and suppliers. This ecosystem called “Software République” will allow Renault, other founding members and future partners to develop joint expertise, build European know-how and ensure control and protection in key technologies from big data to electronics. It will also allow Renault to equip its vehicles with leading artificial intelligence and cyber-security systems.

    – A Service brand, offering the best connectivity and high-tech services embedded natively in vehicles. In 2022, Renault will be introducing My Link, a new infotainment system with Google built-in. Renault will be the first carmaker to bring Google services to mass-market car.

Becoming more intelligent everyday, Renault vehicles will gain value over time. Renault will try to break the consumerist cycle and generate value up until a vehicle’s end-of-life, all thanks to its Re-Factory in Flins (France). The plant will recondition more than a 100,000 used cars per year, repurpose Diesel LCV and convert them into biogas and pure EV. Renault also has a clear advantage within second life and end of life of batteries. The control of these parts of the value chain has the potential to generate new business cases and value.

    – A Clean Energy brand, becoming a leader of the energy transition. Challenging leaders in the hybrid market thanks to its revolutionary E-TECH technology, Renault will ensure its leadership on the electric market with new families of products based on our two dedicated electric platforms CMF-EV and CMF-B EV. The brand will also offer market-ready, end-to-end hydrogen solutions for LCVs. The target is to deliver the greenest mix in European market.

A repositioned line-up will help the brand win back its place amongst C-segment leaders whilst maintaining its B-segment leadership. A total of 14 models will be launched by 2025 (seven electric and seven C and D segment vehicles) with the ambition to have upper segments accounting for 45 per cent of sales by the same year.

Renault 5 Prototype: The rebirth of a cult car, more modern than ever
The soul of the Renault brand is firmly in its roots, and Gilles Vidal’s design team were inspired by the iconic cult model from Renault’s past, the R5. The Renault 5 prototype looks to reconnect with this past and draw inspiration to find the spirit of those glorious times without merely replicating it. Instead, it demonstrates how Renault will democratise the electric car in Europe with a modern approach influenced by one of the most popular and essential cars of its era.

The Renault 5 Prototype is a charming, compact, city car which takes one of Renault’s timeless successes and develops it to be fit for the future with a modern, 100 per cent electric twist. It has retained the fun and mischievous character, with the pop of yellow highlights. The Renault 5 prototype takes strong features from the original design. The modern approach is evident in the chosen finishes and materials, which are inspired by various electronics, furniture and sports.

“The design of the Renault 5 Prototype is based on the R5, a cult model of our heritage. This prototype simply embodies modernity, a vehicle relevant to its time: urban, electric, attractive.”
    Gilles Vidal, Renault Design Director

The R5 is immediately recognisable, but thanks to a modern treatment of lines and flush surfaces with futuristic detailing, the result is in keeping with current times. Additonally, the styling elements taken from the original design hide some of the more modern features, for example: the bonnet air intake hides the charging hatch, the rear lights include aero flaps and the fog lamps in the bumper are daytime running lights. There is even a nod to the original ‘5’ on the side vent, the wheels and rear logo.

The front end and the textile roof are influenced by the world of furniture and are full of ‘French charm’, with a hint of mischief and character that pulls on the heartstrings. The front and rear logos light up, bringing the car ‘to life’. The French flag situated in the rear-view mirrors underline the “invented in France” ethos of the vehicle, and the name displayed on the small transparent screen on the dashboard provides that final flourish.

    About Renault
Renault, a historic mobility brand and leader of electric vehicles in Europe, has always developed innovative vehicles. With the ‘Renaulution’ strategic plan, Renault has embarked on an ambitious, value-generating transformation moving towards a more competitive, balanced and electrified range. Its ambition is to embody modernity and innovation in technology, energy and mobility services in the automotive industry and beyond.

The enhanced Arteon range is now available to order in over 20 configurations, split equally between the fastback and Shooting Brake models, with the new hybrid option now available across both body styles. Two equipment lines remain available – Elegance and R-Line – with the latest hybrid drivetrain available on both. The Arteon R with 320 PS and 4MOTION will arrive in due course for both body types.

Across the entire range, the revised Arteon and new Arteon Shooting Brake feature Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), 3Zone climate control, Digital Cockpit, LED headlights and Wireless App Connect, with We Connect Plus adding live data services to the 8-inch Discover Navigation system.

Elegance-trim models are marked out by their 18-inch ‘Almere’ alloy wheels, and gain keyless entry across both body shapes, along with a rear-view camera and Travel Assist – Volkswagen’s adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping system.

The Arteon R-Line maintains its striking styling, with distinctive, 19-inch ‘Montevideo’ alloys fitted as standard. New dual trapezoidal exhaust tips on each side of the bumper are moulded into the redesigned R-Line body kit, for an assertive, sporting appearance. A sunroof is standard for all R-Line models, while the Shooting Brake gains a larger, standard-fit panoramic sunroof. Both cars also benefit from rear tinted-glass and interior ambient-lighting with 30 colour options.

The battery in the new eHybrid can be charged in five hours using a domestic 3-pin plug. This time reduces to 3hrs 33mins when using 3.6kW AC charger. Energy can also be recovered while driving, this function being programmable via the infotainment system. In this way battery power can be conserved if, for example, the last part of a journey is in a low-emission zone.

Lisa Hartley, Arteon Product Manager at Volkswagen UK, said: “We are really excited to be adding an electrified model to the Arteon range and these eHybrid models are ready to impress with their own distinctive styling and high levels of efficiency. With an electric-only range of up to 39 miles we expect many customers will be able to achieve zero-emissions driving for most day-to-day trips.”

  • Mercedes-Benz Mercedes GLS 63 AMG

2020 Wheelsandmore Mercedes GLS 63 AMG - Front Angle

    Performance

And this is exactly where the inclined customer faces the agony of choice between the four different possibilities of performance increase: Stage 1 already tickles 700 HP and 950 Nm torque out of the engine. Anyway stage 2 is everything but shabby: 800 HP and 1040 Nm and by applying stage 3 the power scale climbs up to 860 hp and 1150 Nm. Nevertheless, stage 4 outshines everything and catapults the power output to a breathtaking 920 hp and 1050 Nm.

    Stage1:

Using software optimization or an easy-to-install plug-and-play tuning module, Wheelsandmore generates 700 or. 710hp and with vehement 950 or. 1000nm of torque.
The prices for the respective upgrade is about EUR 2,577 for software optimization and EUR 3.282 for the additional electronic control unit Tec-Tronic incl. 2 years guarantee on motor and drive.

    Stage 2:

In addition to the customized software, the manufacturer uses throughput-optimized downpipes with sports catalysts and revised series turbochargers in exchange. These measures result in a total of 800hp engine power and maximum 1040nm of torque. The V-Max will be unlocked, so that the vehicle can theoretically drive over 320 km/h depending on the tire approval.

Price for stage 2 including assembly is about: 17.240 EURO

    Stage 3:

The CPC control unit is also modified and twin scroll turbochargers as well as reinforced wastegates elicit the 4 liter capacity of 860hp, which consequently increases the transmission mechanically up to max. 1150nm.

The tuner offers stage 3 at a price of 31,895 euros including installation.

    Stage 4:

Without opening the engine, increasing the displacement and working with forged components, the possibilities of a stable modification of the AMG engine ended at 920hp and also 1150nm. Responsible for the additional power of 60 horses are again modified turbochargers, which, in line with high-performance fuel pumps and the appropriate software, lead to a conversion price of EUR 43.102 to be paid at the exclusive tuner Wheelsandmore.

24 inch wheels and tires for Mercedes GLS63 Class X 167

From the outside, the modified SUV hardly gives an idea of what performance it is capable of. The only, but noticeable, feature is the G-Logic type alloy wheels, which completely fill the wheel arches in all directions. The wheel-tire combination consists of wheelsandmore rims type G-Logic in the dimension 10,5×24 inch with tires in 295/35-24 and 12.5×24 rims with 335/30-24 tires can be fitted on the rear axle. Or all around 10.5×24 with 295/30-24. Surface and color are made exactly according to the customer’s request, thereby all colors with code and RAL colors are possible. Special requests such as manufacturer’s logo on the wheel hub caps, own brand milling or engraving, as well as color accentuating outlines are most welcome at wheelsandmore.

A lowering is currently still under development.

    Exhaust system

Finally, the stainless steel exhaust system with its sporty, sonorous and unmistakable typical sound should be mentioned. Nothing is as emotionally decisive for the character and perception of a German sports car as the sound of an exhaust system.

  • Lamborghini Aventador ERA

    2021 Lamborghini Aventador ERA1

Huber is a bespoke coach builder based in the United Arab Emirates with an international audience of super car owners who seek excellence and world class quality when it comes to refining their vehicles.

Entitled ‘Era’ to mark ten years of the Lamborghini Aventador, and to pay homage to the end of its production, the team have focused on creating a new kind of aero package that pays homage to the original Aventador DNA. The Huber Era aspires to usher in a new way that automotive design thinks about the aftermarket.

The brand will be honouring the end of the Lamborghini Aventador production with a facelift of this Italian supercar, showcased through the publication of thirteen images and one video.

Spearheaded by founder Sean-Peter Huber and a team of passionate designers who share a common vision and journey that goes back to their university days as students of automotive design. This new generation of designers are driven by the common understanding that the aftermarket can apply new aesthetic elements and functionalities to the techniques of OEM design studios to create a new, improved rendition on some of the world’s most revered super cars.

The unique design endeavour by the Dubai-based company replaces the front and rear bumpers with an entirely new design in carbon fibre, and an optional carbon fibre bonnet for customers and distributors worldwide. Additionally, the parts will be available in exposed carbon fibre in various hues.

Huber notes, “While we might be the new kid on the block, we feel that when designing new aero packages for a car, you have to consider both a clean sheet of paper and the North Star of its pre-existing DNA as your guide.”

Huber’s founding mission was to give rise to one-off designs, over the years, the company has developed and evolved a diverse design collection ready for production. The team aims to get many of these designs on the road, and, as Huber explains, “the ERA is just the beginning of a range of designs we wish to bring to fruition”.

The car they have been working on needs no introduction: “The Aventador has a large following, and many aftermarket players have added their visions to this car. Expectations are high, so we knew to take our time to get it right; and we’ve enjoyed the journey.”

The brand is on a mission to build a new community of collectors and car enthusiasts. Their passion for car design has put them in uncharted territory that has the potential to open the automotive design world up to a new way of thinking about the aftermarket.

The fully funded project is independent of Lamborghini and production is complete with first bumper units already promised to selected collectors who have been supporting Huber’s vision from the start. Huber is excited to debut the ERA and is open to partnerships worldwide.

  • BMW X2 M Mesh Edition

Since the BMW X2 launched in Spring 2018 it has successfully carved out a distinctive place for itself in the BMW model family. Now, BMW UK is introducing the M Mesh Edition which features exclusive content and new colour combinations.

The new M Mesh Edition builds on the style already offered by the M Sport X model and gives the BMW X2 an even more exclusive and distinctive appearance. The most prominent enhancement is the BMW M mesh kidney grille in high-gloss black. Like the grille on the BMW X2 M35i (fuel consumption combined: 36.2 – 36.7 mpg; CO2 emissions combined: 178 – 176 g/km*), it has a pronounced three-dimensional mesh inspired by racing cars.

The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition features exclusive inserts in the bumper trim, prominent cladding on the side skirts and door and the wheel arch trim in a new signature colour Frozen Black-Brown. The Edition comes as standard with a unique 19” Bi-colour Aerodynamic alloy wheel with black accents which can be upgraded to a 20” Bi-colour alloy wheel.

BMW Individual High-gloss Shadow Line with extended features also comes as standard. As well as the High-gloss Black window and exterior mirror surrounds, the mirror base, mirror triangle, B-pillar trim and trim surround on the C-pillars, this package also includes the surround for the M mesh kidney grille, a ring around the BMW badge on the boot lid and exhaust tailpipe finishers in Black Chrome.

The edition comes with X2 logo projection from the exterior mirror on the driver’s side as standard and also includes door handle lighting, ground lighting, exterior mirror lighting and door entry light.

LED headlights with cornering lights frame the front-end design.
The updated front end catches the eye with the standard LED headlights and the absence of the circular front fog lights featured previously brings extra distinction to the design. In adverse weather conditions and poor visibility, activation of the cornering light provides optimal illumination of the road’s edge.

Adaptive LED headlights with matrix high-beam function as an option.
Adaptive LED Headlights, including a four-segment matrix function for high beam, are also available for this edition as an optional extra. These headlights help increase visibility and avoiding dazzling other road users. High beam is split into several LED segments, which activate and deactivate independently to adapt road illumination to the traffic situation at hand.

    Sporty interior.
Exclusive elements of this edition are also echoed in the interior of the vehicle with M seats featuring integral headrests in black Dakota Leather. Contrast stitching in Grey completes the look and can be found on the instrument panel, centre console and floor mats. The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition also brings special entry sills with “Edition” inscription. The optional panoramic roof, which floods the cabin with light, can be tilted and opened like a conventional sunroof.

The M leather steering wheel comes as standard, as does a car key featuring an exclusive M identifier. Cars with a manual gearbox also have a gearshift lever with M badging. The interior trim strips are in Aluminium Hexagon Anthracite, the BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite.

The boot has a capacity of 470 litres (BMW X2 xDrive25e: 410 litres).

Power of Choice: customers can take their pick from seven engines.
Customers can take their pick from three different types of drive system for the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition. The Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) is available with three efficient diesel engines, three petrol units and a plug-in hybrid drive system, all of which meet the Euro 6d emissions standard. The BMW X2 also offers customers a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive and manual or automatic transmission. Depending on the drive system selected, customers can order their car with sDrive front-wheel drive or BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive, a manual gearbox or automatic Steptronic transmission

Plug-in hybrid drive system in the BMW X2 xDrive25e offers electric range of up to 35 miles*.
The plug-in hybrid powertrain recently introduced for this model series gives the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition remarkably efficient performance and the ability to drive with zero local emissions. A highly efficient electric motor, with an output of 95 hp and torque of 165 Nm are relayed to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission and teams up with a 1.5-litre petrol engine generating 125 hp and peak torque of 220 Nm. The engine’s power is directed to the front wheels through a six-speed Steptronic transmission.

The resulting hybrid all-wheel drive system has a combined system output of 220 hp and overall torque of 385 Nm to make the BMW X2 xDrive25e exceptionally agile and able to deliver 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds.

The high-voltage battery’s gross energy capacity of 10 kWh translates into an all-electric range of up to 35 miles* in the statutory WLTP test cycle. When the new BMW X2 xDrive25e is driving on the electric motor’s power alone (in MAX eDrive mode), the top speed is 84 mph but with the engine and electric motor working together, the maximum speed increases to 121 mph.

    Maximum Connectivity
The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition boasts intuitive operation and intelligent connectivity, allowing the driver to focus their attention entirely on driving. The ID6 display and operating system offers three different ways of operating individual vehicle and navigation functions: using the iDrive Controller, the Control Display’s touchscreen functionality or a voice control system capable of understanding naturally formulated sentences. The hands-free facility with Bluetooth interface and DAB digital radio are included as standard.

The standard BMW Navigation system features an 8.8-inch Control Display with touchscreen functionality, along with a 5.7-inch information display in the instrument cluster and Real Time Traffic Information. Upgrading to BMW Navigation Plus brings an even larger 10.25-inch Control Display as well as BMW Head-Up Display, which projects important driving information and navigation/assistance system readouts onto the windscreen, where they appear in high resolution in the driver’s field of view.

Smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay® as standard for lifetime allows selected iPhone functions to be used wirelessly and easily via the vehicle’s Control Display. The optional telephony with wireless charging function meanwhile, allows inductive charging of compatible smartphones which can also be hooked up with the car’s external antenna.

The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition is available to order from BMW retailers now from £34,510 RRP with first customer deliveries in March 2021.

    2021 Dacia Bigster Concept1

Dacia has unveiled its five-year plan as part of Groupe Renault’s Renaulution strategy.

The company will boost its efficiency and become even more competitive with the creation of the new Dacia-Lada business, broadening into new areas of the new car market. In addition, the unveiling of the Bigster Concept car paves the way for Dacia in the C-segment.

Denis Le Vot, CEO Dacia and Lada brands, said: “Dacia will stay Dacia, always offering a trustworthy, authentic, best-value-for-money proposition to smart buyers. With the creation of the Dacia-Lada business unit, we’ll leverage to the full the CMF-B modular platform, boost our efficiency and further increase our products’ competitiveness, quality and attractiveness. We’ll have everything we need to bring the brands to higher lands, with the Bigster Concept leading the way.”

A unique, efficient and robust business model
For the past 15 years, Dacia has consistently rolled out contemporary, simple, and appealing vehicles. Relying on unrivalled know-how, Dacia leverages the best proven technical solutions available from Groupe Renault and the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance.

Thanks to a lean distribution model, Dacia has since carved out a name for itself in 44 countries, with seven million vehicles sold so far and many best-sellers. Year after year, the Sandero and Duster remain the number one car and number one SUV sold to private customers in Europe.

Dacia continues to hit the spot with its latest range of vehicles. In order to strengthen its position further and deliver models that both fulfill the needs of customers and evolve with a changing industry, Dacia is able to rely on:

    • An efficient and disciplined design-to-cost approach in product development
    • A dedicated Dacia-Lada business backed by a global automotive group, with targeted technological support, to increase the potential for collaboration
    • The Alliance’s brand-new, highly flexible CMF-B platform that will enable Dacia and Lada to move from four platforms to one and from 18 body types to 11
    • Vehicles based on this platform that could be available with both alternative-energy and hybrid engines, ensuring compliance with changing regulation and vehicle use
    • A competitive range, with the All-New Sandero, All-New Logan, and also All-New Dacia Spring – Europe’s most affordable all-electric city car – launched in 2021, and three new models coming soon for 2025
    • A new entry into the C-segment, previewed by the Bigster Concept

Bigster Concept: An assured and outdoorsy entrance to the C-segment
In true Dacia style, the Bigster Concept is roomy, robust, and meant for open air and dusty roads while exploring new horizons. A 4.6-metre-long SUV with no more or no less than the essential, the Bigster is the Dacia way of making the C-segment accessible, delivering a larger, more capable vehicle at the cost buyers would expect from the segment below.

Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, Dacia Design Director, said: “Dacia Bigster Concept epitomises the evolution of the brand. Essential, with a touch of cool and an outdoor spirit. It proves that accessible is not opposed by any meanings to attractiveness. At Dacia we believe so, and this car is the proof.”

The Bigster Concept’s DNA is aligned with the brand’s core values, those which have developed and maintained a sturdy, long-standing relationship with its customers over the years: simplicity, honesty, and authenticity.

Proportions of the Bigster Concept are contemporary yet timeless – what you see is what you get. They send a clear message of robustness with simple and reassuring lines.

Its generous exterior dimensions promise a very spacious interior. The Y-shaped lighting signature is now larger, highlighting the SUV’s bold and assertive style, while the dark green paint underpins the adventurous nature of the vehicle and the owner.

No bells and whistles, no chrome trim or imitation-aluminium, the Bigster Concept is a genuine vehicle made with genuine principles, shown in the use of raw recycled plastics for all protective exterior panels.

As the possible future figurehead of the Dacia range, both alternative-energy and hybrid engines are possible, reinforcing that the brand is always perfectly in sync with changing regulation and customers’ expectations.

Dacia is a way to escape, giving its customers a unique, genuine, no-frills experience – shown by the Bigster Concept. More than ever before, Dacia embodies freedom of movement and has become a statement piece that focuses on its customers’ needs and fundamental aspirations. A purchase with meaning.

Dacia: always essential, ever more attractive.
