Volkswagen and MOMO Proudly Demonstrate 2016 MOMO Edition Jetta GLI

Volkswagen of America brings out MOMO Edition Jetta GLI to this year’s Chicago Auto Show. As you might remember, this beast was first showed at the 2015 SEMA Show and since then rules over the streets of America. Based on the 2016 Jetta GLI, this MOMO edition proudly demonstrates its performance-oriented capabilities.

The GLI 19×8.50-in MOMO revenge wheels depict that mesh design that catches the eye with the split-10 spoke feature and Pireli P Zero high-performance tires. But not the tires are the most interesting thing about this vehicle. The powerful 210hp (154kW) 2.0-liter four cylinder unit is what catches the eye. it is mated to a stainless-steel cat-black exhaust from Milltek Sport and delivers enhanced breathability and distinguished sporty sound. Also, Brembo provided 14.4-in diameter dross-drilled two-piece front rotors and monoblock four-piston calipers. And by using large 12.2-inch rear rotors and calipers from Golf R, the brakes not only ensure safety and fast responsiveness, but also have a striking yellow-accented finish.

The sport-oriented cabin benefits from the MIB 2 infotainment system and the VW Car-Net App-Connect system. There are also special cues to create strong connection to the driver. The yellow color scheme dominates the interior and perfectly matches the trim detail of the limited-edition MOMO GT50 Anniversario steering wheel.

Infiniti And the Fresh Lineup of Advanced Engines: A Story of Power and Precision

2016 Infiniti Q50S Infiniti has just revealed the lineup of advanced and hi-end engines for the Infiniti Q50 sports sedan at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. The audience witnessed showcasing of a 300hp (220kW) and a 400hp (294kW) versions of the trustworthy 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo power unit and the flexible 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine. The three fresh engines are now on display at the country’s oldest and most popular show, along with the 2016 QX60 crossover and the all-new QX30 premium active crossover.

The compact and lightweight 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo unit is by far the most advanced V6 engine that Infiniti has created. It impresses with wonderful balance between drivability, efficiency and flexibility. The new VR lineup of engines will be available with Q50 Red Sport 400 and the 300-hp Q50 3,0t.

The third new Q50 engine is a 2.0-liter turbo inline 4-cylinder unit that produces a total of 208hp (152kW) and 258 lb-ft of torque. It is offered in conjunction with Daimler and is assembled at Infiniti’s plant in Decherd, Tennessee. This one is available with AWD or rear-wheel-drive system and will go on sale later in 2016. It will also be joined by a fourth Q50 engine choice.

Also, along with the Q50, other models are expected to draw buyer’s attention with the completely restyled QX60 luxury crossover that comes with even further extended list of goodies. For example, owners will benefit from the Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection and the Predictive Forward Collision Warning system. 2016 QX60 will be in Infiniti’s showrooms next month.

Powerful and Confident, 2017 Ram Power Wagon is Ready For Some Off-Road Challenges

2017 Ram Power Wagon Ram continues its campaign of delivering only superior quality pickups and proves it one more time with the 2017 Power Wagon. Massive and powerful, this beast will defend brand’s positions as off-road truck leader.

Based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4×4 Crew Cab, the Power Wagon offers extended list of standard features, some drivetrain refinements as special suspension fine-tunes, locking differentials and a 12,000-lb. winch. But let’s waste no more time and see why this vehicle is so awesome.

Exterior design

Similar to the 1500 Rebel, the Power Wagon demonstrates completely redesigned grille with the well-known Billet Silver RAM letter badge. The front is further enhanced with the Black bezel bi-functional projector headlamps with LED marker lights, while the vent-stamped hood also comes with Gloss Black graphic.

Furthermore, the front and rear bumpers also received some attention. The front bumper manages to hide the 12,000-lb. winch, roller fairlead and the 125 feet of line. Cool. And at the same time the exclusive and distinctive 17-inch forged multi-surface aluminum wheels with Silver outer and Matte Black inner fit perfectly the 33-inch tires and do contribute to that massive and powerful stance.

Also, the Power Wagon is available as a Tradesman Crew Cab 4×4. This option does not include the same interior and exterior characteristics, but what it does include is the same off-road equipment.

Interior Design

The Power Wagon comes with redesigned cabin space that now includes major changes as wrapped and stitched surfaces, along with some functionality upgrades.

Vehicle’s interior comes with Diesel Gray and Black finish with Sedoso fabric inserts with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac pattern that matches Power Wagon’s actual footprint. Also, the front seats with heated feature show their distinctive and exclusive Light Slate Gray accents and of course, the notorious Ram logo.

The central stack and doors are finished in Iron Gray Metallic, while the Satin Chrome vent rings outline air output points and the cluster. The steering wheel is also wrapped in exclusive Black leather with optional heat feature. It contains Slate Gray X-stitches. Sweet.

Drivetrain system

Definitely the most important and most interesting part of the machine is the drivetrain system. And here is why. The vehicle is geared with 6.4-liter HEMI 16-valve V8 unit that produces a total of 410hp (301kW) and torque rate of 429lb-ft at 4,000 rpm. Interesting feature is the enhancement of the off-road capabilities via the unique four-wheel-drive system that intelligently responses and distributes power to all the wheels. This power unit is mated to either 66RFE six-speed automatic gearbox.

Also worth mentioning is the suspension system that includes Blistein shocks, modifier control arms, spring rates and more than two inches of lift.

On the other hand, the brake system is also impressive. The four-wheel disc brakes are now standard feature on all 2017 Ram Heavy Duty Truck models. The front rotors measure 14.17-inch inches in diameter and are clamped with dual-piston calipers. The rear rotors are 14.09 inches with dual-piston calipers.

Additional equipment

Ram Power Wagon offers some sweet and useful systems and technologies as power-folding mirrors and pwoer rear-sliding window with defrost function. Also, there is one-touch, central locking with RamBox cargo management and tailgate power locks that contribute to the overall functionality. And let’s not forget about the spray-in bedliner, LED bedlighting, front and rear par-assist system, power-adjustable pedals and remote start that are also available.

You Can Now Order 2017 Cadillac XT5 Luxury Crossover

Due to its unusual design, the AWD is capable of transferring up to 100 percent of available torque to either the front or rear axle. This capability has been created for “split-coefficient” surfaces, or in other words when there is more water, ice or snow on one side of the road surface than the other. Furthermore, the AWD is driver-controlled meaning that he or she can disconnect the rear drive unit for better fuel efficiency and fewer emissions.

Under the hood of the 2017 Cadillac XT5 is the 3.6-liter V6 engine, which produces a peak output of 310-horsepower (228 kW) and 366 Nm (270 lb.-ft.) of torque. The unit is linked to a new 8-speed automatic transmission that is a standard for the XT5. It includes an Electronic Precision Shift, which is the first electronically controlled transmission shifter application in a Cadillac.

2017 Cadillac XT5 is arriving in U.S. dealerships in early April, but you can now order it online. The starting price of the XT5 is $38,995 USD, while the highest level XT5 Platinum is priced at $62,500 USD.

Chevrolet Introduces Midnight Special Edition Pack for the Silverado and Colorado

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 and Colorado Z71 Midnight Special Editions Chevrolet is introducing the Silverado 1500 Z71 and Colorado Z71 equipped with the famous and good-looking Midnight Special Edition. Both models are expanding the portfolio of special-edition trucks, which over last year achieved rapidly growing popularity. It was measured at 27 percent which is a double the increase for the total truck market.

As a matter of fact, Chevy has entered on the market several special-edition trucks that offer versatile equipment and appearance packages designed for specific tastes. The main aim is to appeal to younger, more affluent buyers than the industry average.

What Will We See at Mazda’s Stand At 2016 Geneva Motor Show?

2016 Mazda RX-VISION Concept There is good reason to wait for this year’s Geneva International Motor Show and it is indeed Mazda’s plan to showcase the award-winning RX-VISION Concept and the efficient and sweet Mazda3 in combination with SKYACTIV-D 1.5-liter clean diesel.

The first vehicle, the RX-VISION Concept will demonstrate Mazda’s idea for the future of sport cars. Subaru Reveals Details For the 2016 Crosstrek Special Edition

2016 Subaru Crosstrek Special Edition Subaru of America, Inc. announced details for the 2016 Crosstrek Special Edition. This sweetie will be offered in Pure Red exterior finish and there will be only 1,500 units. We do expect further details at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show where it will debut.

BMW M Division and MotoGP Unveil the Latest 2016 M2 Safety Car

BMW M Division and MotoGP have released their latest 2016 BMW M2 MotoGP Safety Car with abundance of information, pictures and video. By the way, the two partners have formed the perfect combination for almost two decades, releasing an abundant variety of Safety Cars through the years. The choice for 2016 falls onto the M2 Series, which implements the latest technology and guarantees the safety of the MotoGP riders… despite of the conditions.

The Safety Cars provided for the motorposrt race are high-performance M cars, which feature excellent driving capabilities and perform outstandingly to any challenges on the track. They were all modified at the BMW M factory with the aim to provide perfect protection for the motorcycle racing scene. The same has happened for all the other vehicles in the fleet.

The exterior of the M2 is painted in Alpine White, which is lavishly adorned by the MY2016 BMW M livery. The latter comes directly from the BMW M Performance Parts. Other cool parts of the exterior include more different than the standard front splitter, exclusive LED light bar, while the rear features motorsport inspired carbon wing, which is also adjustable. To ensure the best driving dynamics on the track, the car was also updated with M Performance coilover suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes and fitted with Michelin Cup tires.

Inside, pretty much everything is upholstered in black Alcantara and leather, and contrasted with gold stitching. Carbonfiber Dynamics Releases Massive Update for BMW M4

2016 Carbonfiber Dynamics BMW M4 M4R Front View Carbonfiber Dynamics has done the impossible with this BMW M4 M4R project, which has been substantially modified and features new aggressive appearance, more power and enhanced handling. Starting with the front, the car includes carbon fiber Varis front lip that has aggressive look but that also increases the surface pressure on the front axle. The same material has been used for the VSDC light construction for the System-2 bonnet. Varis Carbon side sills and mirror caps were also installed to make the optical junction between front lip and diffuser.

Speaking of the diffuser it is also made of Varis Carbon fiber and covers the rear floor assembly together with exhaust system. This warrants more surface pressure on the rear axle. The rear also features new apron, adjustable Alpha-N Performance carbon rear wing and one-off Boca Design high-kick carbon rear spoiler.

Performance and Suspension Modifications

Carbonfiber Dynamics installed a Burger Motorsport JB4 with fine adjustment and CANBUS command, eight different maps, turbo charger upgrade by TurboEngineers which features M4-charger TTE6xx with bigger CNC milled compressor, turbine with grinding, gap optimized compressor side, CNC milled compressor and turbine casing and CNC ported intake manifold.

The Akrapovic down pipe adds power of 23 hp (17.2 kW) at 5,800 rpm and 28.7 Nm (21.1 lb-ft) at 4,950 rpm. The aforementioned exhaust system with valve command and four 8 mm stainless steel mat end pipes give extra 6.5 HP and 4.5 Nm. Via software optimization the car eventually develops at least 700 hp (515 kW) and 827 Newton meters (610 lb-ft) of torque.

This power is transferred onto the road via new BBS platinum silver CI-R rims measuring 20 inches. The wheels are dressed with Toyo Tires Proxes T1 sports tires and this combination is perfectly complemented by the prototype of Bilstein B16 damp tronic coilovers serving as an active suspension solution for BMW-M4 chassis.

At last, the M4 M4R project is also equipped with the first Mov’it brake, which has 6-piston calipers and 392 mm friction rings on the front and 4-piston calipers and 380 mm friction rings on the rear axle.
