  • Vilner is Back with Custom Rimac Concept One and Tramontana XTR

Rimac Concept One ExteriorVilner is finally back… with not one but two concept projects: custom Rimac Concept One and Tramontana XTR. After the luxurious Bulgarian tuning company has been silent for a while, it was about time to raise its voice. And how it does it: with two projects that are more creative than ever. By the way, both cars have been previewed at Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance: one of the most beautiful, prestigious and valuable car events.

As a matter of fact, the Bulgarian studio has made its debut there, showing the interiors of these two uniquely different concepts. Despite this was the first appearance of the team, their work was appreciated at the highest possible level. As they say, both vehicles have received as much attention as the 1968 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage Volante and the 1954 Bentley R-Type Continental Fastback that were also on display there. And here is why they were worth the attention:

The Custom Interior of Rimac Concept One

    Vilner Rimac Concept One Interior

The collaboration between Vilner and Rimac is a well known fact. The stunning thing about the electric Concept One is that it generates 1088 hp (800 kW) and manages to achieve 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds. And it does this without any CO2 emissions!

SEE ALSO: Debut of Rimac Concept One

Now take a look at its cabin and you’ll comprehend the meaning of real comfort means. Of course, the interior was entirely made by the talented tuners. They have used for the upholstery fine brown leather in combination with black Alcantara. To add a little contrast to everything, they have included blue stitching. Other accents inside feature elements on the instrument panel, center console and steering wheel made of polished carbon composite. Now that’s a worthy treatment for the electric king, isn’t it?

The Custom Interior of Tramontana XTR

    Vilner Tramontana XTR Interior

Tramontana XTR is a Spanish two-seater sports car capable of 888 horses (653 kW) coming straight out of its twin-turbo V12 Mercedes-AMG engine. Vilner followed the color design scheme of the exterior of the alien-like car, thus using for the cockpit black, white and red colors. The upholstery was made of high-quality leather and Alcantara.

But there is one thing that is really special about this particular Tramontana XTR. Its scheme for the cabin can not be seen anywhere else. In other words, Vilner will be responsible for the creation of strictly individual cabins for every single XTR ordered. And this redefines the meaning of individuality and personalization.

  • 2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn Strives For Perfection. And it Reaches it.

2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn Front View2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn is one of the most exclusive and luxurious vehicles we have seen so far. The latest open-top model from the British company comes in 2+2 seat configuration, and its roof was specifically engineered to deliver the silence of a Wraith. Besides the luxurious exterior and interior, the car has powerful engine generating 563hp. But, we’ll talk about that a little bit later.

    The Dawn & The Exterior

The exterior of the new Rolls-Royce Dawn has the typical characteristics for the brand. Nearly 80% of the exterior body panels feature new design that aims to make the car beautiful with its roof up as with it down. The other key characteristics for the brand were also retained. We see the main Rolls-Royce design principles applied here: the 2:1 wheel height to body height, as well as the long bonnet, the short front and the long rear overhangs, and the high shoulder line.

SEE ALSO: Dawn Rises for Rolls-Royce. Rare Model Will Ride Under Sunlight One More Time

At the front we see the characteristic grille and fascia. In addition, the profile gives purpose to the 21” polished painted wheels. The stainless steel waist line finisher wraps around the cabin. It also encompasses the deck covering the soft top when stowed. Visibility is given to the exhausts and front and rear bumper jewellery, to create a one-off look and presence.

    Dawn’s Contrasting Interior

    2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn Interior

Entering the interior happens through the one-off coach doors, which are designed to make the access to the rear seats easier. Speaking of which, have I mentioned that there are exactly 4 separate bucket seats? In fact, the interior complements the exterior, but adds a little more opulence and coziness.

Besides the finest leathers that have been used for the upholstery, the interior also features other exclusive and high-end goodies like the “real”-wood surfaces used on the centre console for example. Moreover, the instrument dials were improved via applied polished metal chaplets around the dials, and there is a new clock design featuring the new motor car’s name.

At the Heart of the Dawn

2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn Rear View at Dawn

Rolls-Royce Dawn is driven by a strong motor: the twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 which has a power output of 563bhp (420kW) delivered at 5,250rpm and a torque rating of 780Nm (575 lb-ft) at 1,500rpm. This promises an exceptional driving experience that is assisted by Wraith’s satellite aided transmission. The transmission uses GPS data to allow the car to see beyond what the driver sees, thus anticipating their next move based on location and driving style. In turn, this information helps in the selection of the most appropriate gear from the Dawn’s 8-speed ZF gearbox. And the best thing is that this feature is included as standard.

  • Vision of Speed for the Latest BMW M4

VOS BMW M4 Front ViewVOS BMW M4: the first thing that we can say about it is that it received unique photo-shoot. You can view the high definition imagery in the gallery below. But this car is more than just pictures. Of course, the fact that it is based on the BMW’s latest M4-Series makes the project initially outrageous. Having this good basis, the specialists at VISION OF SPEED (VOS) carefully added some goodies. Let’s see what they have included.

    More Power for the Drivetrain

Without any enhancements, M4’s 3-litre inline six-cylinder unit produces 431 PS (317 kW), 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque, and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. This means pretty good performance, doesn’t it?

SEE ALSO: Meet this Custom Carbon Lamborghini Huracan by VOS

However, due to the addition of VOS-Performance upgrade for the engine, the experts have achieved new heights. The result is no less than 550 PS (404 kW) and 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque, making an extra of 119 PS and 160 Nm. In addition, they have also unleashed the top speed and it now reaches 310 km/h.

Stability and Control for the new Horsepower

    VOS BMW M4 Side View

550PS are not easy to handle, so VOS decided to make the car more safe and stable, so that the driver can keep everything under control. For this purpose they have integrated Clubsport chassis version 3 and KW Suspensions.

The exhaust system was also changed, and the BMW now breathes through new stainless steel one that has valve-control, middle silencer and rear muffler. At the front axis we also see new Brembo brake system with six-piston-calliper as well as two-part 380×34 mm-racing-brake-discs. The rear axis received four-piston-callipers matched with two-part racing-brake-discs of 380x28mm.

    Enhancements for the Exterior

    VOS BMW M4 Rear View

Although there is not much done in terms of exterior tuning, we can still see the changes easily. They include new carbon mirrorcaps, carbon rear diffuser, wheels and tires. By the way, the alloys are manufactured by BBS and come in size of 20-inch. Vredestein-tires of 255/30-20 and 275/30-20 come into play at the front and rear, respectively. And this basically rounds out this project.

Now it’s time to take a look at the gallery and tell us what you think about VOS’ work.

  • GeigerCars.de Created The Most Powerful Chevy Corvette Z06 Ever!

GeigerCars.de Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Front ViewGeigerCars.de Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the latest project that the experts at GeigerCars.de have been working on. They say that they have created the most powerful Corvette ever and we are about to ‘see’ how they have achieved this. As a matter of fact, there are three specifics about this project. The first one is the power upgrade, the second is the in-house-made body kit and at last, but not least – the lowered suspension.

    Power Upgrade for the Envious

Let me tell you the story of this Corvette Z06. It was born in an American family of prestigious cars with a long history. However, it got a brand new quality and it was the updated version of the classic V8. Although the drivetrain was reduced to 6.2-litre for forced aspiration by a 1.7-litre Eaton TVS R1740 supercharger, the Corvette still made it to the 659 hp (484 kW) and 881 Nm of torque! And this is actually the way it got the title “The Most Powerful Corvette”.

SEE ALSO: Here is How GeigerCars.de Customized the Ford Mustang GT

And believe it or not, the performance package by GeigerCars.de adds even more to these numbers. After the upgrade, the Z06 became more potent showing 730 hp (537 kW) and 944 Nm (697 lb-ft) of torque. Now what would you say about that!

Suspension Upgrade for the Extra Performance

GeigerCars.de Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Front Wheels

The next step for the specialists was to add more sense of safety and control to the added performance capabilities of the car. In fact, the suspension upgrade kit that hey have used have lowered the ride height of the Z06 for better handling, grip and aerodynamic stability at speed.

    Carbon for the Body

The wedge-shaped lines of the Chevy Corvette Z06 were strengthened in their appearance by the carbon-fibre GeigerCars.de body kit. It makes a real difference in combination with the lowered ride height, and gives the car wider and more aggressive stance.

The new front lip, the small flaps on both edges and the undertray below the front bumper further aid the aerodynamics of the car.

GeigerCars.de Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Rear End

The lower line started by the front spoiler lip is visually continued by the deeply contoured side skirts that help to control air spillage along the car’s lower flanks. They lead your eyes to the new rear valence, which incorporates underbody diffuser section on both sides of the sports exhaust system’s four big outlets. At the rear we also see a prominent rear spoiler.

Rounding out this special car is the unique wheel-tire combination. At the front we have 19-inch wheels complemented by 285/30ZR19 Michelins and at the rear the combination is 20-inch alloys shod with 335/25ZR20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 track day rubbers.

    Enjoy the pics!

MANSORY Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe Black Edition Front ViewMANSORY Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe Black Edition is another extremely cool project which we want to immediately share with you, since it was announced a few hours ago on MANSORY’s official Facebook page. Two images revealing the car were also released. What is special about it is that it produces 1000HP!We have seen such an extreme tuning by the experts on their S-Class Diamond Edition. The Black Edition will be produced in only 6 examples, which is a fact that gives it even more exclusivity. As you can see from the couple of images, the tuned S63 has received MANSORY-made carbon fiber bodywork.

    How About New Exterior?

MANSORY Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe Black Edition Rear ViewThe carbon-body was painted in pearl grey matt paint, which in my opinion looks very exuberating. But what does the pack add? MANSORY added air control blades on the front and rear axle in order to ensure that there is more downforce and optimized cooling for the drivetrain and brakes. It is obvious that there are new side skirts and fenders as well as a rear-wing.22-inch wheels always come in play, especially when the horses are 1000. This time, the added wheels are one-piece SPIDER coupled with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tires. The rubbers measure 255/30 ZR22 and 295/25 ZR 22 at the front and rear, respectively.

    How About More Potent Engine?

Here are the numbers: after the engine tuning this S63 Black Edition generates 1,000HP (735 kW) and a limited 1,400 Nm (1,033 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to achieve a 0-62 km/h acceleration time in 3.2 seconds! The top speed has been limited to 300 km/h.

And How About More Luxurious Interior?

Although there are no images of the interior, MANSORY said that it will be hand-made. And this means that we have to expect luxury in all its variants: starting from the steering wheels and ending with the floor mats.We do wait impatiently for the reveal of the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe Black Edition by MANSORY at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Stay tuned for more information and pictures.

  • Nissan Previews Juke-Based Crossover Concept?

Introducing Nissan's new Crossover ConceptNissan has a secret which will be revealed in a week. It is called… well, we don’t know how it is named yet, but what we are familiar with is that it will be company’s newest crossover concept. And this makes us pretty excited, given that we know how successful the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail models are. And this makes you think about a lot, doesn’t it?

Would the new Nissan crossover deliver the same combination of rugged looks, hatchback credential or even running costs? Or would it be centered on luxury design approach and would it probably go into production?

SEE ALSO: Is Frankfurt Debuting Nissan Micra N-TEC Better than the Others?

Honestly, we don’t know a thing. The only information we received is in form of an image. A teaser image. It shows the front end of the future crossover concept.

What Does the Image Tell? A Juke Concept?

The newest Crossover Concept definitely has that purposeful and fully dedicated Nissan design. With bi-color paint scheme, rugged forms and distinctive front appearance it definitely makes us interested in it even more. And have you spotted those LEDs in the form of a boomerang? And that’s it.

But there is unofficial information which is spreading around the internet that this is actually a future Juke-based concept. We have to admit that the LEDs are pretty similar, but unless this isn’t confirmed by Nissan’s representatives we can’t declare it a fact.

So, in other words, we expect that the concept sets the bar higher and includes much more that we have seen already. All questions to be answered on 15th of September, during the start of Frankfurt Motor Show.

This will happen during the weekend, where the British automotive luxury brand will have the opportunity of showcasing the extravagant 570S as well as the legendary McLaren F1 GTR by César.

This force accelerates this McLaren car from start to 100 km/h (62mph) in just 3.2 seconds. And note that the top speed is 328 km/h (204mph).

Kahn also revealed that the pack will be available for both 2 and 4 door models, and both petrol and diesel variants. Another special thing about it is that it will be complemented by the Chelsea Truck Company’s wheel design and bespoke interior styling.

To sum it up: from what we can see, the complete package will add wide front and rear wheel arches, vented bonnet in aluminium as well as redesigned front grille and bumper.
