  • This Porsche 911 Turbo S Nemesis is Capable of More Than 600 HP

It is time to hear about something new from the tuning world and this time it is not only related to the tuned car but also to the company. Under the spot is the perfect Porsche 911 Turbo S wich has been transformed by the Prototyp Production tuning company. The specialists have been working for a year now, but this is the first project we hear they are releasing.

Since birth, the tuner has promised to make literally everything in-house: ranging from the paint finish to the carbon elements. For this Porsche, the company hasn’t done much. However, we think that it is perfectly sufficient.

To start with the exterior, first that capture the glances are the changed wheels. The new ones are in-house made and are called NEMESIS. Being a limited edition of only 50 units, they measure 21 inches and are fitted with the appropriate Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in 245/30 ZR21 at the front and 305/25 ZR21 at the rear.

At the back of the car, we also see a new stainless steel exhaust system, which features 2 valves and 200 cells sports cats. This perfectly compliments the improvements done on the engine. Via software treatment the output of 911 Turbo S unit has been enhanced up to 604 hp (444 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lb-ft) of torque.

At last, some simple additions are included throughout the interior like the mat carbon details.

We sincerely hope to see more from the Prototyp Production because this is a promising start of their automotive career.

  • Mystery Solved: Porsche Revealed the 911 GT3 RS in Geneva [VIDEO]

Remember when we told you about a mysterious Porsche model which is going to debut in Geneva? Well, the mystery is solved, since we have already at hand the911 GT3 RS car. The company itself announced this car as the “definitive track car for everyday use” and forgot to mention that you should be a millionaire or very wealthy to afford this. The price exceeds 200K of US dollars.

Drive system, aerodynamics and design were optimized and the proof of this is the lap time around the 14 mile Nürburgring Nordschleife of 7 min 20 seconds. The reason for this breathtaking performance is the 4.0-litre six-cylinder engine which produces 500 hp (368 kW) and 460 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted onto the road via the very special PDK transmission.

And if you wonder about the acceleration time: the street legal model can sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 10.9 seconds.

There is a total of 10 kg saved from the weight of the model and this is due to the implementation of magnesium for the roof and carbon fibre for the engine and luggage compartment lids. Combined with RS-specific aerodynamic components like the front spoiler lip and the large rear wing, it is no surprise that this Porsche is so powerful.

Other standard features that will delight the lucky owners are the bi-Xenon headlights, sports exhaust and dynamic engine mounts. There is a choice of 20- or 21-inch forged alloys that are complemented by the PASM and PTV, or Porsche Active Suspension Management and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, respectively.

Alcantara interior was fitted for the sake of luxury, but what makes more impression are the sports seats that are based on the carbonfibre ‘bucket’ seats of the 918 Spyder.  Club Sport Package comes as a standard in contrast to the Sport Chrono Package. While the first adds a roll cage, the second will optionally include several technology tweaks.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS is currently available to order with first cars arriving in showrooms in May.

  • Techart Releases new Tuning Kit for Porsche 911 GTS Models

rsche-911-GTS-1240Techart’s new program for Porsche 911 Carrera GTS and 911 Carrera 4 GTS offers individualization options that can literally match any taste. Enhanced aerodynamic styling, driving performance, wheels and bespoke interiors are all key characteristics of the refined Porsches. There is also good news for those who will be visiting the auto saloon in Geneva, because the

The individualized exterior of the 911 GTS is all about styling and aerodynamics. Although there is subtle difference to the standard models, it is quite distinctive. Take a look at the new front spoiler which upgrades the original front apron of the car.

It also creates extra dynamics by visually lowering the body and reducing the aerodynamic lift at the front axle. Next, there is the elegant roof spoiler, the prominent rear spoiler and sharp profiled side skirts.

In terms of driving dynamics, Techart created performance equipment and wheels that add to the credentials of the car. The new sport exhaust systems add a sporty highlight to the rear of the 911 Carrera GTS. In addition, it also provides a racier soundscape at all speeds.

As a matter of fact, there are two different exhaust systems. Both are dynamically valve-controlled to adjust the sound according to the driving style. Besides the sport exhaust system with two twin tailpipes on each side, the second system has a motorsport-like appearance, meaning that it comes with two central tailpipes and an extraordinary audible presence.

The driving dynamics of the Porsche were further enhanced vie the new sport springs bring the 911 GTS body closer to the track. Furthermore, the electro-hydraulic TECHART Noselift system provides 45 mm of additional ground clearance at the push of a button by lifting the vehicle’s body at the front axle. This feature is perfect to overrun obstacles like garage ramps.

The huge amount of power of the Porsche is transmitted onto the road via forged Techart Formula IV Race center lock wheel. They have five twin-spokes wheel design and come in 20-inch size and standard bicolor finish in titanium grey with a gloss-turned front surface.

Inside, the tuners have also prepared some tweaks for the 911 GTS models. Take for example the individualized door entry guards or the multi-function sport steering wheels with paddle shifters. Of course, we can’t miss the aluminium-made sport pedals, contrasted decorative stitching, color-coordinated instrument dials, and a coupe wrapped in select leather. Nice work Techart!

  • Adidas and Porsche 911: An Unexpected Combination

Athleticism is measured in many different ways but Adidas seems to know how to dig its path to the best possible methods. The shoe company uses Porsche 911 as a platform which is able to commercialize and advertise their new UNCAGED adizero 5-Star 40 Football cleats. So the sporty 911 turns into a perfect base for a subtle marketing trick which promotes not just the car but a pair of shoes as well.

In order to match the athletic spirit of the Super Bowl event, Adidas is promising to provide three customized Porsche 911s to the NFL Scouting Combine runners who will achieve the best results. There is one condition only. They should wear the new UNCAGED adizero 5-Star 40 Football cleats. Just to clarify, the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine is a showcase which lasts for one week where prospective football players will go through a range of physical and mental tests before NFL coaches, general managers and scouts.

The three Porsche cars receive a uniquely designed bodylook which matches that of the shoes in question. The cheetah graphics which covers the entire back of the Porsche 911 Carrera is definitely like nothing else seen before. But it is kind of weird – looking paintwork really not only on the car but on the cleats too. Undoubtedly the winners will appreciate their prizes but I won’t be surprised if they decide to remove the graphics from the cars and make their Porsches look more… normal and less as vehicles that transport animals to the local zoo.

  • Porsche Exclusive’s “Aerokit Turbo” is what every 911 Turbo Needs

New Aerokit from Porsche Exclusive is now here for all 911 Turbo and Turbo S models. The performance package will add to the exclusiveness of the car and gives it more character and sportiness to its traditional silhouette. Precisely, it includes new front spoiler with side fins as well as an entirely redesigned rear deck lid. The latter has a fixed rear spoiler with side winglets while maintaining the automatically adjusting rear wing.

But the attractive look wasn’t priority number one for the designers. In fact, the aerodynamic function was a top goal during development of the Aerokit. There were extensive tests conducted in the wind tunnel as well as many test drives on the test circuit at the Porsche Development Center in Germany.

The end goal was to enhance the driving dynamics by further improving the downforce. At the same time, Porsche preserved the same coefficient of drag as the standard equipment. The result is a proper integration of the flow-optimized Aerokit into the harmoniously balanced overall concept.

To make an example, the aerodynamic components of the “Aerokit Turbo” create even more downforce at the front and rear axles. This in turn increases driving stability at high speeds. The total downforce generated by the 911 Turbo adaptive aerodynamics at 186 mph on the track was increased to 57 lbs in the Speed setting, and to 331 lbs in the Performance setting.

There are two versions of the “Aerokit Turbo”. The first one is in car’s body color, while the second one is in high-gloss black. Next to the goodies coming from the kit, there are also side skirts and rear fascia painted in the body color. In the black version only, the air intake cover on the rear lid is painted black.

Porsche Exclusive’s “Aerokit Turbo” is currently on sale with a starting price of $6,950 USD.

  • Mercedes-AMG GT Outruns Your Dream Car [VIDEO]

Shots are fired and a new rivalry between two automotive giants seems to be on the verge of exploding! In a recently introduced video, the new Mercedes-AMG GT overtakes Porsche 911, thus breaking children’s visions of a dream car.

The TV commercial, which is titled “Mercedes-AMG GT ‘Dreamcar,’” carries a certain tone of subtlety because the German car demonstrates its supremacy and powerful stance by mocking the Porsche. In the ad we can see a young boy who is having a dream about the Porsche 911 which appears as a blurred silhouette. Not too long after this, there approaches the GT with an obvious determination and motivation. Driving too closely behind the other car, the Mercedes is somewhat metaphorically poking the Porsche while reminding it of the GT’s supreme power. And then with a fuming energy it disappears.

Just as a reminder, the car in yellow is powered by a handbuilt AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine which produces 462 PS (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. Such figures are enough to enable the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, reaching a tops speed of 193 mph. Lastly, the power unit is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with electronically controlled limited slip differential.

Nevertheless, the question is: is the new AMG GT really built to outrun an automotive king like the 911?

  • PP-Performance Tunes Porsche 911 Turbo to the World Record [VIDEO]

PP-Performance released a video showing how a tweaked Porsche 911 Turbo is making a world record. The car covers the ¼ mile for 9.8s! The tuning company has put some more oomph into the probably most known Zuffenhausen sports car forge family member. After the engine intervention the serial horsepower numbers have been significantly raised. Precisely, the Porsche 911 Turbo produces 520 hp (382 kW) and maximum torque of 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) without the tuning.

The “surgical intervention” (as the professionals call it) into the engine techniques include PP-Performance Digital Racing Box, IPD intake plenum, 3-to-1 headers, downpipes, x-pipe and BMC high performance air filters. The result: the 911 Turbo model is capable of producing 670 horsepower (493 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lb-ft) of optimum torque.

But more importantly, this power boost gave the opportunity for the team to reach impressive acceleration values. In details, the car can now cover the 0-60 mph sprint within 2.5 seconds instead of the serial 3.4 seconds. This literally means that the 911 Turbo’s acceleration time equals with Bugatti Veyron 16.4.

In addition, the car also made a speed world record, which you can view below. Instead of 11.1 seconds of the serial version, the 120 mph limit is reached by PP-911 within 8.2 seconds. In addition, the 9.8 seconds world record in the corresponding class for the ¼ mile on dragstrip is also no wonder! See for yourself:

  • Can Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet be More Exclusive? VILNER Answers with new Project!

Porsche 911 is a synonym that stands for the ultimate sports car. The engineers of the brand from Stuttgart have polished this 911 diamond into even more glamorous and exclusive “creature”. However, the specialists at the Bulgarian studio Vilner, know that one can always do and expect more. And they have proven it once again with their latest project on 911 (997) Turbo Convertible, thus showing that there can be more exclusivity to a 911Turbo Cabrio.

Despite the expectations of a total transformation, the car hasn’t received any exterior enhancements. And we think it does not need them, because the interior is so abundant and splendid.

The red-black design theme of the original interior has also been preserved, but it now has received a brand new stance thanks to the combination of red nappa leather and black Alcantara used for the seats. Their headrests are embossed with Porsche’s emblem.

Vilner managed to imbue some extra exclusivity with several attractive design solutions.

First, the steering wheel received new ergonomic shape. Then it also got rich amount of handmade carbon fiber. The same material was used for a substitution of the plastic parts of the seat belts sockets. The gearshift lever also received a carbon therapy, just like the decorative elements around it and the door handles.

Unexpected but very exciting is the fact that Vilner has improved the 6-cylinder turbo boxer engine. They did this with the help of the German specialists at RaceChip. The result is 17% more horsepower.  In numbers, this means 561 hp (413 kW) or in other words – additional 81 hp to the serial 480 hp (353 kW).

  • Techart Porsche Targa 4 in Lime Yellow [Yes or No?]

Techart-Porsche-911-Targa-4S-THUMB2014 Porsche 911 Targa 4 model debuted at the beginning of the year at the Detroit Auto Show. And as we remember it, we get genuinely excited being a reinterpretation of a classic. Now Techart is ready to show us its take on the car through (as they say) sharpening its character. They have created an aero kit, dedicated wheels and unique interior! Starting with the aerodynamic kit, the Techart’s Targa 4 receives wide body with active taillight strip and of course a glass roof with iconic aluminium bar. The kit was made of lightweight fibre composite of carbon and polyurethane RIM, and its characteristics include high levels of load-bearing capacity and dimensional stability with a low tare weight.

Next, it also adds two-part front spoiler I with integrated splitter drags, which serves in terms of lowering the vehicle. It is combined with new rear spoiler II wing profile and new diffuser add-on. Going further, we can’t miss the aero wings, which are integrated into the front air inlets, and create a dynamic shaft outline. They work in concert with the air outlet grille at the front apron.

911 Targa 4 also get exclusive alloys, which are called Techart Formula IV light-alloy wheel and that come in five-twin-spoke design. They are offered in 20- and 21-inch size in various colors. The tuners also offer suspension options for the car. The sport spring kit brings the vehicle closer to the asphalt, while the noselift system generates an additional 45mm of ground clearance by lifting the vehicle level at front axle.

Exhaust systems sport and sport muffler racing deliver the acoustic performance of the Porsche 911 Targa 4 models with a touch of a button. The valve-controlled system can be used even when closed under full load across the entire speed range.

  • Porsche Unveils Martini Lineup Including 911, Macan, Panamera and Cayenne

Porsche-Martini-Lineup-THUMBPorsche has revealed on its official Facebook page its glamorous Martini lineup of vehicles. It includes a yellow 911, green Macan, white Panamera and blue Cayenne. In fact, the iconic Martini Racing stripes have been caught by a photographer on the streets of Sochi, Russia. The result is a stunning picture gallery which you can view below. With it Porsche is celebrating a famous past but also a legendary return.

There is nothing much said about the vehicles, except for their fuel efficiency and CO2 emission figures. Precisely, the 911 models need around 8.2 – 12.4l/100km of gasoline, while they emit 191 – 289g/km of CO2. These numbers for the Panamera are as follows: 6.4 – 10.7l/100km and CO2 emission of 169 – 249g/km. The Macan needs 6.1 – 9.2l to cover 100km, while it emits 159 – 216 g/km of CO2.

The big question is why these sports cars and luxury crossovers were at the site of this resort. And perhaps we will have to wait some more time to understand. The latest edition with the Martini livery revealed before this lineup is the 2014 Porsche 911 S Martini Racing Edition.

It will be produced in only 80 examples and will feature as a standard the Sport Chrono package and a sport steering wheel. Other standard extras include Porsche Communication Management (PCM), black leather-wrapped electric sport seats, tachometer with black gauge and a Bose premium audio system.

In particular, the car is offered in two colors: white and black, which both feature Martini’s traditional blue-red color scheme on the roof, rear wing, boot lid and sides. Special features here include stainless steel door sill panels with “911 Carrera S – Martini Racing Edition” illuminated lettering, Aerokit Cup front apron and fixed rear spoiler.

This Porsche is driven by the 3.8 liter flat-six engine which produces 400 horsepower (294 kW) at 7,400RPM and 440 Nm (326 lb-ft) at 5,600RPM. It is no surprise then that the car needs only 4.1 seconds to cover the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h on its way to a top speed of 302 km/h (187 mph).
