2018 Mercedes-Benz eVan Fans and Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts have more occasions for celebrations. The agile and versatile E-Vans have now undergone special drivetrain upgrade that make them even more endurable in extreme situations and more precisely, in winter time.

The eVito, the second-gen electric van by Mercedes-Benz has been put in the harsh atmospheric conditions of the Scandinavian Arjeplog area, where temperatures can easily reach 30 degrees below zero. The van was tested for its efficiency, handling, ergonomics and comfort under such extreme and harsh conditions. The idea behind such tests was to obtain more data about the functions of the whole software interface system, brakes, ESP and all other gadgets that might well change behavior, because of atmospheric changes.

    2018 Mercedes-Benz eVan

Fitted for a so-calle inner-city delivery, trade and passenger transport, the eVito is mainly suited for big cities and urban surroundings. However, it is always better to enhance a certain vehile in order to make it more capable for all-terrain use. And as we talk about fine-tuning and tests, we should also mention that the battery capacity of 41.4kWh is capable to reach a total range of 150km/h.

    Drivetrain system

    2018 Mercedes-AMG G

The AMG G-Class is geared with a mighty 4.0-liter V8 biturbo power unit that replaces the older 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine. The tuning magicians have created a special program that would only serve the E-CLASS with AMG upgrade. This is what I call an exclusive upgrade scheme. • There can always be more: G-POWER makes the AMG GT S machine even more agile!

2017 G-POWER Mercedes-AMG GT SG-POWER team strikes again. In fact, the brand has been astonishing the motorsport world since 1971. Believe it or not, but this was year that G-POWER team showcased how a BMW machine can be modified in order to deliver incredible performance rates. 35 years later things haven’t changed that much – there are still numerous lucky Bavarian vehicles with G-POWER upgrades, along with some neat Mercedes-AMG tunings that impress even the sceptics. However, the latest G-POWER tuning project appears to be a special one. This time the chosen vehicle is an AMG GT S (C190) sports car. So, let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?

    2017 G-POWER Mercedes-AMG GT S

First of all, the C190 received a special G-POWER Bi-Tronik 5 power module. This little gadget boosts the overall power output to a maximum of 610hp at 6,500rpm and ensures 755Nm of torque between 4,000 and 5,500rpm. Or, in other words, the Bi-Tronik 5 ensures that the AMG GT S sprints from 0 to 100km/h in mere 3.5 seconds. Cool, right?

SEE ALSO: With a touch of styling: DF Automotive tweaks the already sexy SEAT Ateca

But how does it do it? Honestly, it is some kind of rocket science. However, here’s the overall process: the gadget is connected to the factory ECU and proceeds the data from vehicle’s censors and sends it to the AMG power control unit. By doing so, the whole engine system guarantees that G-POWER’s module works in perfect harmony with the original drivetrain hardware.

    2017 G-POWER Mercedes-AMG GT S

And in order to honour the massive drivetrain upgrade, G-POWER team also adds a neat exterior styling change: sweet HURRICANE RR ultra-light forged alloys. The tire/wheel combination is 9.0×20-inch with 275/30R20 tyres in front, and 10.5×21-inch wheels with 305/25R21 tyres at the rear axle. Furthermore, the wheels come in four finish choices: Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey, Stardust Silver and Diamond-cut finish. Sweet, aren’t they?

  • Inden Design strikes again: here is team’s depiction of a mighty Mercedes-AMG machine!

2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG C 63 Black Series Joe Inden and his team of magicians strike again! Inden Design proudly showcases its latest project: a heavily revised 2015 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Edition 507 that is now part of tuner’s Black Series. We have much to discuss about this badass, so we’d better waste no more time!

First of all, the original Mercedes-AMG was completely dismanteled and has undergone a rather comprehensive inner revision. There were new KW coil-over-suspension Club Sport pack and exclusive original Black Series side skirts and body parts. Of course, the engineering team proceeded further with internal tweaks and adds revised front and rear bumpers, side sills and a pretty neat AMG Black Series original hood. Badass to the bone.

    2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG C 63 Black Series

Long story short, we see a rather menacing beast: the best part of all is that the well-known and beloved Mercedes-AMG lines and curves are present, but at the same time are further enhanced and make the overall stance far more muscular and menacing. And let’s admit it: these widened bumpers are just out of this planet. And all of this is topped with massive one-piece BBS-F1 light alloys in 8,75Jx19 with 245/35R19 Michelin Sport on the front and in 12,0Jx19 with 305/30R19 on the rear axle.

SEE ALSO: LARTE Design’s depiction of a Porsche Macan SUV: masterfully executed

Last but not least, let’s have a look at the wheel-tire-combination: The one-piece BBS-F1 light alloy rims –  in 8,75Jx19 with 245/35R19 Michelin Sport on the front axle and in 12,0Jx19 with 305/30R19 on the rear axle, each with 15-mm spacer discs – are powdered in silk-matt black and the edge of the rims are finished in high-gloss red paint. Sweet.

So, how do you like Inden Design’s latest creation? We are most certainly impressed. How about you?

  • Almost as a Batmobile: check Inden Design’s Mercedes-AMG interpretation!

2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG SLS - Front AngleWe haven’t published much about Inden Design. So, in order to fix our mistake, we will tell you about team’s latest tuning project. Тhis is a pretty special one – not only it showcases numerous unique features, but also fulfills the dream of Joe Inden himself – the mastermind behind Inden Design.

And here it is: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG machine that now proudly takes its place among its sibling in the Black Series. As one might have expected, the vehicle has undergone some comprehensive tuning and upgrade program. First of all, the whole body was dismantled. This means that numerous Mercedes-AMG original parts were taken down, reshaped, coated and reassembled. These include the front and rear apron, hood, and fenders.

    2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG SLS - Front

Furthermore, some of the side components were further tailored to match the overall bodywork concept and of course, to contribute to the sporty spirit of the vehicle. Overall, the design of this machine resembles all these well-known and beloved Mercedes-AMG features: neat curves, elegant lines, expressive front face, tight and sporty rear and overall confident and masculine stance. The magic of Inden Design work is hidden in the small details. All of these components add to the original appearance of the vehicle and do not try to change the nature of the vehicle. Definitely a precise and dedicated work, isn’t it?

    2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG SLS - Side

But even these modifications were not that refined to satisfy the taste of Mr. Inden himself. And this is why he ordered some more goodies to be installed: laminated drivetrain parts, exclusive KW suspension coil springs and stainless steel exhaust. And the best of all? Kickass wheels. These are exclusive BBS-F1 with special dimensions: 10,0Jx20 with 265/30R20 on the front axle and 12,5Jx21 with 325/25R21 on the rear axle. Cool!

SEE ALSO:  Vilner Team Challenges the Maybach Styling: Did They Make it Better?

The only thing I personally do not like about the styling concept is the one-tone black body finish. Designers could have used some lighter patterns in order to make these sexy details stand out. However, Sexy is still sexy. Even in black coating.

    2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG SLS - Wheel

And the best news is that there are even more upgrades done onto the drivetrain system. More precisely, on the power unit: the refined Mercedes-AMG now produces a total of 635hp (467kW). A neat upgrade from the original 571hp (420kW). Sweet.
