  • Kahn Lamborghini Aventador Finally Revealed

Kahn-Lamborghini-THUMBIn the beginning of this year we were introduced to an ongoing project which has finally come to its end. We are speaking here about Kahn Design’s work on the challenging Lamborghini Aventador.

The iconic car was transformed literally into on-road fashion statement. The designers have given their magical touch to this Lamborghini putting forward its stunning Rosso red beauty. They have decided to strip the entire vehicle – with the objective of showcasing optimum interior and exterior equilibrium.

The bespoke interior and accessories included here deliver exclusivity and luxury. The arrangement of this most eye-catching yet complex interior certainly does not present one with any functional drawbacks.

The front seats of the Lamborghini are wrapped in nappa leather and further accentuated by white stitching. They are perfectly complmented by the quilted steering wheel with airbags, instrument surround and centre console which are also wrapped in nappa leather.

What is more, the agressive on-road presence of the supercar is enhanced by the Kahn wheels it was equipped with. For the front the tuners used 9 x 20” Kahn santagata wheels and for the rear the same wheels were added in size 13 x 21”. Kahn santagata wheels are finished in hyper or liquid silver and fit all original centre caps.

  • Cars For Stars Lamborghini Aventador Limousine [video]

Cars for Stars has announce a Limousine version of the hyper-car Lamborghini Aventador. The ground-breaking conceptual design is being released in the form of a highly-impressive, rendered, state-of-the-art video which shows every aspect of this stunning design in all its glory and from every angle.

The Aventador Limo has the same engine – V12 6.5-liter engine producing 700 HP (515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) but unlike the original car, it will not be able to do the 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and will not reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) due to the added weight and length.

Although this stunning design remains purely conceptual at the moment, it could easily materialise into a real, tangible car with the support and investment of a willing and passionate sponsor. Extremely rewarding benefits of sponsoring the Lambo include 12 months of free advertising, as well as the renaming of the car to incorporate the name of the company! With the backing of someone who wants to see this stunning vehicle taken off the drawing board and onto the road, we’ll soon be able to see the stretch Lambo become a reality.

  • 2013 Geneva Motor Show: Lamborghini Veneno

Lamborghini has announced the exclusive Veneno at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Only three unique units of the Lamborghini Veneno will be built and sold. Its design is consistently focused on optimum aerodynamics and cornering stability, giving the Veneno the real dynamic experience of a racing prototype.

It is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 from Aventador, but tuned to 750HP (552 kW). The engine is mated to a fast-shifting 7-speed ISR transmission with 5 driving modes and permanent all-wheel drive. The hyper-car, which weighs just 1,450 kg (3,190 lbs) accelerates itself to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 355 km/h (220 mph).

The Veneno is painted in an all-new, grey metallic-look color with individual parts gleaming in the black of the visible carbon-fiber structure. The exclusive alloy wheels measure 20” at the front and 21” at the rear and are equipped with center mountings. Their design is also determined by aerodynamic functionality – a carbon-fiber ring around the wheel rim works like a turbine to deliver additional cooling air to the carbon-ceramic brake discs.

The bespoke styling carries over to the cabin as the Veneno is equipped with a new instrument cluster, Forged Composite seats and woven carbon-fiber CarbonSkin trim.

  • Mansory Carbonado based on Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

Mansory will exhibit another interesting sports car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. They will present a tuned Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The name of the project is Carbonado and you can see why? Carbon fibre everywhere the eye can see.

The exterior boasts MANSORY aerodynamic package including a striking front skirt with optimised air intakes for improved ventilation of the front radiator. There is also a new front lip spoiler and the proprietary developed daytime running lights, a front wing as well as a new bonnet.

The sides have grown by 40 mm on the front and by a remarkable 50 mm on the rear axle in width. Newly designed side skirts are also fitted. These steady the air flow between the axles and feed additional cooling air into the drive unit and the rear braking system through integrated routing channels.

The diffuser built into the new rear spoiler stabilises the rear at high speeds and creates surface contact pressure together with the enlarged rear wing on the rear axle.

The 6.5 liter V12 engine received two turbochargers and the result is sensational. The car now has 1250HP (920 kW). 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 380 km/h (236 mph).

In order to get some traction, the car has 9.0J x 20” front wheels and 13.0J x 21” rears with Pirelli P ZERO tyres in VA 255/30 ZR20 and HA 345/25 ZR21 sizes, respectively.

The Lamborghini refinement program finds a perfect fulfilment in the extensiveinterior applications. Naturally only the finest of materials are used. The processed leather used for the seats as well as the dashboard is particularly durable yet still extraordinarily soft.

To accent the character of the CARBONADO interior even more non-slip aluminium pedals as well as genuine carbon fibre components are us ed on the doors, the fittingsand the centre console. The newly positioned starter button presents one of the technical highlights of the interior. In the style of an aircraft cockpit switch Mansory has relocated this red switch from the centre console to the roof lining.

  • RENM Performance Lamborghini Gallardo STS-700

RENM Performance has presented their latest project based on Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale. The already exceptional sports car is now even better. The name of the project is STS-700 and you may suggest why?

The 5.2 liter V10 engine is boosted to 700HP (515 kW) at 8,500RPM, but no words about the torque, which is probably around 650Nm. The result is thanks to titanium connecting rods, larger titanium inlet, custom billet camshafts, exhaust ports, exhaust valves, custom billet pistons and crankshaft. There is also a valve-controlled titanium exhaust system which is 63% lighter. According to performance, the STS-700 is sensational – 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph) – this is 0.2 seconds quicker and 10 km/h, more.

    httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiPDeO5kjyg

The sports car also comes with complete carbon fiber body kit, which reduces the total weight and increases the downforce and airflow. It also provides better cooling for the engine and brakes, which are modified, too. The chassis and the suspension are improved by installing Ohlins three-way fully adjustable dampers, wider wheel tracks, adjustable front anti-roll bar and whisbone suspension links. The carbon-ceramic brake kit provides super stopping power.

Last, but not least, the interior comes with Alcantara-wrapped lightweight sport seats, modified gear shifters, customized roll cage with four-point harness, fire extinguisher and seat belts.

“The STS-700 accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed over 330 km/h”, commented Neil Meka, CEO, RENM performance.

“However, improved driving dynamics and track performance are the main advantages. Significant reductions in lap times were recorded throughout the vehicle’s development.”, he finished.
