2017 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Sedan We haven’t revealed a good stock machine for a long time, haven’t we? It was about time this changed. And here’s the perfect moment: Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) has unveiled the super sexy and super powerful Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Sedan.

Definitely an appealing machine, this bad boy has a lot to demonstrate: embracing all the achievements and improvements that the 2014 F-TYPE Project 7 has demonstrated, this latest addition to the family has even more goodies to show. So, let’s waste no more time and see what exactly impressed us.

Exterior styling

Jaguar has never let us down as it comes to styling: the new guy is the additional evidence. XE SV Project 8 looks super muscular, confident and menacing. Of course, the design team has relied heavily on the idea to present us a track-ready machine with all the requirement checked out. These include numerous aluminum components as the rear doors, revised trunk floor that contributes to better air flow, carbon-fiber components as the lightweight bumper, front wings, front splitter and hood. Neat.

Of course, these not only contribute to the overall excellent performance rates, but also add a kick to the overall menacing style. Just look at that front face, or the tight and clean rear-end. This vehicle is definitely beautiful. And sexy.

There also are numerous personalization option: SVO team offers wide range of tweakable goodies that add to the individuality and uniqueness of the Project 8. These include thousands of exterior body finishes, optional body accents for the brake calipers, front grille surrounds and more. Furthermore, the lucky buyers can personalize the tread plates, paddle shifters and many more. Sweet.

Interior Styling

As expected, the interior design concept strictly follows the exterior body language. The cabin is super clean, sporty and driver-oriented. There are numerous Alcanatara covers for the dashboard and control panel and the steering wheel. We also like these advanced sporty seats.

There is a larger 12.3-inch TFT display and one more 10.2-screen that supports Jaguar InControl Touch Pro infotainment system. There is also a super powerful 380W MeridianTM Audio System that was exclusively tweaked for this one project. It comes with 11 speakers, subwoofer and tons of smart functions.

The heart of the beast is a massive and mega-powerful 5.0-liter Supercharged V8 power unit that delivers a total of 592hp (441kW) and 516 lb-ft of torque. This massive energy flow is aided by advanced software, advanced and revised air intakers and exclusive exhaust system. After all, power is nothing without control, right?

Also an eye-catching system is the transmission. In order to maintain the power of the engine in control, the engineering team added a special eight-speed Quickshift All-Wheel Drive system. Furthermore, Project 8 introduces the Electronic Active Differential for the first time in Jaguar XE machine. This thing, along with the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics system contribute to a well-calculated torque delivery to the rear wheels. And yes, this is a rear-wheel-drive machine. What else did you expect?

Furthermore, Project 8 introduces stiffer suspension adjustment, ball joints instead of bushes for the upper control arm assembly and fine-tuned front and rear anti-roll system. Sweet. Also, there is a new height-adjustable spring platform and aluminum Continuously Variable Dampers. This all means that the driver can specify the overall height of the vehicle. There are two levels: the standard one for the road and a -15mm for track domination.

In terms of braking power, the team has relied on the Carbon Ceramic Brake system. This CCB thing is different from the Carbon Ceramic Matrix and include lower unsprung mass, fade resistance and extended usage.

The engineering masterminds have upgraded the engine characteristics, have included fresh aerodynamic package, all along with sweet goodies with pedal sets, multi-flow exhaust system and numerous more. And the best part of all is that all these upgrades and changes can be purchased separately, without the addition of installing unwanted or unneeded features. Sweet.

Also, Hamman team has included some separate additions that are not included in the whole package, but can still be purchased and installed all along with the rest of the features. Such goodies include integrated diffuser, spoiler lip, ten-piece front and rear fender flares. Of course, there are also special wheels that enhance the whole appearance of the vehicle: the lucky F-PACE comes with a set of Anniversary Evo II wheels that can be specified with three colors: Hyper Silver, Black and Graphite Gray. These wheels measure a 23 inches in diameter and are 11 inches wide. And they are definitely sexy.

Jaguar team proudly presents a recreated replica to a legendary 1950’s legend

2016 Jaguar XKSS Replica Back in the day Jaguar XKSS has kicked some serious butt. Definitely it was a piece of a beauty at the time it was unveiled sixty years ago, but we have to admit that this is still one incredibly elegant and appealing vehicle. But as it looks like, it is not enough for the whole Jaguar team: they have decided to revive the old classic and create nine exclusive automobiles that completely resemble the original eye candy.

In fact, as you might know, the original XKSS is named world’s first supercar and it proved it at the Le-Mans race events back in 1954-1956. A year later there were nine vehicles that were lost to a fire accident at the Jaguar’s Brown Lane factory, but the good news is that there are still 16 automobiles that resemble the good ol’ days in pretty stylish way.

And as we have told you, Jaguar has already announced that a special recreation project is being executed and there are nine “lost” XKSS machines that will soon hit the roads. The nine vehicles will be completely new and as close to the original as possible.

In terms of performance rates, the new XKSS features a 3.4-liter straight six-cylinder Jaguar D-type power unit that delivers a total of 262hp and features new cast iron block, new cast cylinder heads and three Weber DC03 carburetors.

The inside also completely resembles the original design. There are wooden components, leather coverages and brass knobs that not only reveal the styling of the 1950’s, but also showcase Jaguar’s perfection and incredible attention to even the smallest details.

Improved Jaguar F-Pace 20d shows growth in horse-power capability

Jaguar F-Pace is a daring crossover, which has stance, charms and luxuries inside and out. It is kind of unimaginable that such perfectly built vehicle might be subjugated to any sort of tuning. However, specialists that are brave enough to take such a tough task, do this regularly. In the case of this F-Pace 20d full responsibility for the power uprating take the experts at CPA Performance.

Originally the big cat is powered by a 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that generates 180 hp (132 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. Being a quite heavy machine and weighing 1,700 kg, the Jaguar seemed to need a little bit more power.

And this is how the tuners at CPA Performance were led to the idea to introduce to the SUV their in house made PowerBox and PedalBox upgrades, in order to deliver matching performance and response. So, there are three levels of PowerBox available: Pro, Ultra and Nitro.

The first one adds more power and torque by 20-percent, making it a total of 215 hp and 515 Nm. The intermediate PowerBox Ultra boosts the power to 223 hp and 533 Nm, and also incorporates the Engine Safe System. At last, the at top of the CPA Performance diesel performance kits for the F-Pace 20d is the PowerBox Nitro. It gives the SUV the capability of delivering 228 hp and 547 Nm torque. The kit comes with remote control activation.

What is more, CPA Performance has also developed PedalBox, multi-processor system, which delivers improved throttle response. Another highlight in this tuning here is the Connective System, which combines the Nitro and the PedalBox in a perfectly matched pairing. This also gives the option of tailoring the power and response to any road situation.

A 1973 Jaguar F-Type vehicle with exciting story is offered on sale at the Silverstone Auctions!

1973 Jaguar F-Type Series III Roadster A special Jaguar E-Type that starred in BBC’s Only Fools and Horses, will be offered for sale at Silverstone Auction’s Salon Privé Sale on 3rd of September at the Blenheim Palace.

This unique 1973 Series III Roadster was delivered untouched to Henlys of London back on 11th October 1973 and was quickly purchased by its first and only owner, a successful Swansea businessman, who has relished a fine drive along the Welsh Riviera with top down for the past 40 years. Apparently, this gentleman knows how to relax.

Some years later, in 1981 the vehicle was starring in the second ever episode of Only Fools and Horses, titled Go West Young Man. We’d rather not reveal the plot, but know that you will miss a whole lotta laugh if you decide not to watch.

Single malt Jaguar XJ by Vilner is infused with aristocratism and individuality

Vilner makes substantial interior changes to the 2005 Jaguar XJ

This Jaguar XJ by Vilner has rather strange nick name, “single malt”, which as many of you might now is a type of alcohol. But there is a good reason for that, and it is the aristocratic club atmosphere of this XJ. If it is true that the car actually resembles the owner, then the driver of this Jag XJ has high noble traits. But could a car, an object, really say something about its possessor? Let’s find out.

The basis of this project is the beautiful 2005 Jaguar XJ with 300 hp (221 kW) and 420 Newton meters (310 lb-ft) of torque. The car has extremely sentimental value for its owner, who not only keeps it in perfect condition, but also takes care for it as a part of the family. At one point however, this wasn’t enough and the aristocratic owner wanted to do something more for his Jaguar-jewel. Therefore he contacted the luxury Bulgarian based Art Studio Vilner for help. And he obviously came to the right place.

What he wanted was a fine combination of vintage shades, warmth and a hint of the atmosphere of whiskey and cigars club. The aim was achieved with materials of the highest quality: white-striped beige Alcantara as well as soft brown vintage leather.

Besides the central parts of the seats and doors, the striped Alcantara upholstery has been given to the transmission tunnel and sun visors. Traditionally, the steering console is made of hard plastic, but now it is reinforced with brown Alcantara. On the other hand, the design theme of the steering wheel, dashboard and almost the entire interior is made of vintage brown leather, stitched with contrasting white thread. Even the plastic mechanisms of the seat belts have been wrapped with the same material.

The owner wanted to preserve all wooden elements, so Vilner incorporated them in their design vision for the XJ. At last, on the headrests you see the embroidery of the family crest, which somehow seems to add uniformity and completeness of this important Jaguar. As a compliment, the studio has created a special bag made entirely in the style of the car, and this tradition seems to become a trademark of Vilner’s.

The conclusion: a car can really say a lot about its owner as it has been exemplified with this project. And this is because he has treated the Jaguar not as a useful object, but as a substantial part of the family that has own personality. By the way, the fact that this XJ is in the family for more than ten years speaks a lot.

Jaguar Land Rover showcases a rather special system. Check it out!

2016 Jaguar Land Rover DSRC System Jaguar Land Rover shows a range of some badass technologies that will aid future self-driven vehicles through any surface and terrain. It is a multi-million dollar research project that aims to make the autonomous driving as flexible and as confident as possible.

And in order to enable this next-gen of technology, Jaguar Land Rover team has developed some sweet technologies: there are some sensors, surface identification tweak and a 3D path sensing. All of them incorporate the use of a camera, radar and sensors to deliver detailed 360 degree view of the world around the vehicle. Of course, buyers will have the chance to get their path planned, and see some potential dangers and road situations. Sweet.

One more key element is the ability for vehicles to “talk” to each other: the machines can communicate with by sending data and prepare for any off-road obstacles and road challenges.

In fact, Jaguar and Land Rover have already made an off-road demonstration with two Range Rover Sports that use the DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communications) technology in order to create an Off-Road Connected Convoy. The wireless vehicle-to-vehicle communication system shares data for vehicle’s location, wheel-slip, suspension activity, wheel articulation and All-Terrain Progress Control information.

A legendary Jaguar E-Type has returned to us! Check the story here!

1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster Chassis 62 A missing Jaguar E-Type vehicle, considered to be one of the most sought-after early examples of the model has been discovered in the depths of Scotland. It will be offered at auction by Silverstone Auctions at the Silverstone Classic on the 30th and 31st of July.

This 1961 Series 1 Roadster, Chassis #62 has a rather interesting story. It is one of the first 92 hand-crafted models and had mysteriously disappeared at a certain time. Historians and experts were trying to know more about this Jaguar’s whereabouts for decades, but without any feasible result. Also, the first 20 units of this particular lineup have been fine-tuned to offer some sporty character and were believed to be the “Holy Grail” of E-Types and unarguably, for vehicle collectors.

And this particular, Chassis #62, was dispatched to Scotland in July 1961 via Henleys of London for use as a demonstrator vehicle in the whole Edinburgh area. Funny thing is that, it was expressly forbidden for the car be sold until September of the same year, but was purchased by its first owner right in the beginning of September.

Through the years the Jaguar vehicle was passed from owner to owner within Edinburgh area and back in 2013 it has passed in the dominion of its fifth and current owner who was completely unaware of the fact that he possesses a sort of the “Holy Grail” of vintage sports cars. I can imagine the excitement the felt.

And with this interesting story to be told for generations, the E-Type will be offered at the auction with its original Jaguar Heritage Certificate with a starting price between $180,000 and 220,000 USD.

Luckily, the car is still in impeccable visual and performance condition, thanks to the meticulous cares of its last owner. Finished in Carmen Red with black-dominated interior, the vehicle still has some original features and this so-called “fat floor”, split-link throttle linkage, thicker screen chrome mouldings and smooth cut-away groove at the top of the A-post capping.

Jaguar revives nine mythical vintage vehicles! Check them out!

2016 Jaguar XKSS Jaguar Classic announced that the Jaguar XKSS will make its global debut in November this year in California, North America. We believe that this will happen at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

This ultra-exclusive lineup consists only 9 units that are hand-crafted by Jaguar Classic experts and all of them were produced in the same way and with the exact same specifications as the original vehicles from 1957. Cool.

As you might know, XKSS is believed to be world’s first supercar. Jaguar team has created this model as a road-legal version of the Le-Mans winner D-type and all of the units that were built in ’57 were to be exported to the US, but after a disaster, many of the vehicles were severely damaged and lost to the Browns Lane fire. And 59 years later, Jaguar team decided to revive the nine lost XKSS sports cars specially for established collectors and customers.

The vehicles have been created to be fully compliant with FIA homologation for historic motorsport purposes and all of the “missing” units are created to period-exact dimensions and specification that ensure a 100% authenticity and highest standards in terms of quality and craftsmanship.

Lister Motor Company launches a limited and exclusive run of Jaguar vehicles

2017 Lister Knobby Jaguar Stirling Moss Lister Motor Company proudly announces the launch of limited run of only 10 special vehicles, Lister Knobby Jaguar Stirling Moss with handmade magnesium body and unique lightweight specifications. The idea is to resemble the type of engineering technology that was popular back in the 1950s.

Already sold, the special vehicles are part of the celebration event of Moss’s races for Brian Lister in the 1950s. Each one of the ten comes with original techniques from that era, blended with Lister Motor Company’s precise attention to detail.

What is interesting about this lineup is the magnesium material: incredibly lightweight, but it is also incredibly difficult to source. And provided that it takes time to be bent under engineers’ will, skill and craftsmanship, it remains one of the most expensive and difficult to work with materials in the motorsport industry.

As you might have expected, all of the Lister Jaguar Knobby Stirling Moss vehicles come with the same specifications that aided Moss in the battle for Silverstone back in 1958. Some of vehicle’s key features include special bodyshell, also created by lightweight magnesium with special aerodynamic low-drag Long Wing Design front wings, magnesium components for the power unit, Clutch and differential also created from magnesium, lightweight tubular steel chassis, classic and distinctive green and yellow exterior paintwork that completely resembles the 1950s one.

Furthermore, every single vehicle will be built at the very same factory as the original one in George Lister Engineering facility in Cambridge. Chassis and bodies will be shaped by using the same jig and formulas that were used for the original vehicle. Cool, right?

Some personal specification options will also be included, like choosing fully type-approved road car or fully-race tunings. Buyers can also specify the interior having tons of choice for the combination of materials, colors and styles.

Of course, each of the 10 owners will receive a handover from Sir Stirling Moss and a personal welcome letter from the legendary driver. Each vehicle costs one million. Deliveries will start in the autumn of 2017.

2017 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR Jaguar launches the “Jaguar Co-Pilot Nordschleife” program in order to allow customers to try brand’s latest supercar on one of world’s most popular race circuits, indeed the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Jaguar’s most aggressive sports car, the F-TYPE SVR delivers 575hp (429kW) and 700Nm of torque via the titanic 5.0-liter V8 power unit and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (62mph). Sporty enough, this is considered as brand’s most capable of tackling down the “Green Hell” challenge.

In fact, the customers who booked a ride with the car will be also the first to experience its power and driving character throughout the 20-kilometer long track.

Of course, before each passenger’s ride begins, all the Co-Pilots will be taught to use a HANS (Head and Neck Support System) in order to ensure maximum safety and maximum pleasure of driving. Jaguar and Piecha team up for the release of very special F-Type Cabrio

Piecha Jaguar F-Type Cabrio side and front view Jaguar F-Type Cabrio is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful roadsters out there. As are Jaguar cars in general. And this is probably the reason why we are not seeing many tunings on it, because to change its shape would be equal to sacrilege. However, accentuating it through stylish elements might be a great idea if one wants a little more individuality to their Jag.

For this purpose there are tuning brands like Piecha design, which have specialized not only on making the Jaguar F-Type more attractive and at the same time not doing the aforementioned sacrilege.

A Modular Styling Package is Born

The modular styling pack that Piecha have developed does exactly this. But what does it feature? For the front, the tuners have developed front cup wings that are larger than the production ones. They are available in glossy exposed carbon or painted. The same applies to the aggressive side skirts.

The rear on the other hand includes more than enough, because it harmoniously combines vision, through the discreet rear spoiler, and sound. The latter comes from the growling exhaust system with 90 mm stainless-steel tailpipes at its ends. And by the way, the tailpipes’ finish is available in two styles: high-gloss or semi-gloss chrome-plated.

The individually adjustable suspension added here offers 30mm or 40mm wheel spacers and it also helps the production wheels stand out.
