  • Hennessey Supercharges 2015 Ford Mustang GT with 717 HP

2015-Hennessey-Ford-Mustang-GT-THUMBHennessey Performance has made an HPE700 Supercharged Upgrade for the 2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8. Only 500 units will be built for the model year 2015, making the vehicle a limited Edition. What is more, thanks to the refinement, the Mustang is now capable of delivering 717 horsepower, meaning that it can finally battle Chevy’s Corvette Z06 and Dodge’s SRT Hellcat. In fact, with this project, the tuners are offering a 2015 Mustang that will outperform some of the fastest cars currently offered, but at a lower price point.

Key to that 717 hp (527 kW) and the 856 Nm (632 lb-ft) of torque at 4400 rpm is the Roots-type high-helix supercharger packing 7.25 psi of boost. Helping the V8 breathe more deeply is a high-flow throttle body and stainless-steel exhaust system. Upgraded injectors and fuel pump feed the V8, managed by Hennessey’s proprietary engine management calibration.

The increase in horsepower also results in astonishing acceleration time, which in this case in only 3.6 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 60 mph. The tuning company is also offering for this Ford model customization options such as CarbonAero carbon-fiber bodywork that includes front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser and rear lip spoiler. There are also available 20-in. Hennessey H10 wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 2 tires and a Brembo brake package with 15.1-in front rotors.

2015 Hennessey Ford Mustang GT has a pricing which starts at $59,500 USD.

  • Hennessey Venom F5 – Top Speed 467 km/h [290 mph]

Building a 290mph-car is not a great success, but creating a road-legal one is an act of heroism. Hennessey has already topped 270 mph (435 km/h) with the Lotus Exige-based Venom GT back in February, this year. Now, he announced the Venom F5 (named after the most powerful tornado on the Fujita scale) which will eventually do over 290 mph (466.71 km/h).

John Hennessey commented for Top Gear: “I think something in the 290 mph range will be possible”, when he referred to the upcoming model. It will come with improved aerodynamics and updated technologies. The 7.0 liter twin-turbo V8 will be boosted to over 1,400HP (1,044 kW), so the car will be more powerful than Koenigsegg One:1. The Venom F5 is expected to weigh less than 1,300 kg (2,866 lbs), so the power-to-weight ratio will be 1.07 HP / kg. 0-300 km/h in less than 13.5 seconds.

The engine will be connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox sending the power to the rear wheels. There will be also a GPS-based traction control system offering calibration for specific race tracks. This is a unique feature which will help the driver to improve its racing times drastically.

The hyper-car will be limited to just 30 units, each priced at $1,200,000 before taxes, which is not bad at all compared to Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport.

HPE-cadillac-escalade-THUMB2015 Cadillac Escalade has just been released for sale across the United States. The tuners at Hennessey Performance have been taking advantage of this fact and are currently offering an engine upgrade for the 6.2L V8 engine of the model. The developed supercharger upgrade for the new unit offers the perfect balance of attitude, performance and luxury. It is called HPE550 package and delivers up to 557 hp (410 kW) and 735 Nm (542 lb-ft) of torque from the belt-driven supercharger.

The additional power of this Cadillac however is nothing without reliability, so the tuners have added an air-to-water intercooler system that keeps charge temperatures low. In addition, Hennessey’s recalibrated engine management computer optimizes the air/fuel ratio throughout the rev range.

Another upgrade included in this project is the addition of a set of lightweight Hennessey H10 forged monoblock wheels in the size of 20”. The H10 wheels have reduced rotating mass, which allows even more power to reach the tires. In this way less energy is spent.

The good news here is that the HPE550 upgrade will be also available for other vehicles with GM’s 6.2-liter DI V8 powertrain. These include the 2015 GMC Yukon Denali, 2014-2015 GMC Sierra trucks and 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado trucks.

  • Hennessey Builds World’s Fastest Venom GT Edition

Hennessey_VenomGT_WorldsFastestEdition-THUMBTexas based Hennessey Performance (HPE) has just released that it is building a limited run of World’s Fastest Edition Venom GTs. The reason for this celebration is HPE’s recent top speed run-record of 270.4 mph. What is more, the World’s Fastest Edition also alludes to the Venom’s 0-300 km/h Guinness World Record.

Furthermore, the company has announced that this special edition Venom will be dressed in unique livery package in the colors of the U.S. flag: white with red and blue stripes. But why the Venom GT achieved such success. The answer lies behind a simple formula: huge power plus minimal weight.

In addition, the supercar is driven by its 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine which generates makes 1244 hp (915 kW). It holds the Guinness World Record for standing-start acceleration, rocketing from rest to 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 13.63 seconds. • 2014 Hennessey Chevrolet Corvette Stingray HPE700 Twin Turbo To Debut At Boca Raton Concours

2014 Hennessey Chevrolet Corvette Stingray HPE700 Twin Turbo is least to say exclusive. It is the most powerful HPE Stingray ever and even more – it will be built in only 24 examples. This limited edition Chevrolet will be unveiled on 21st of February at the Boca Raton Concours in south Florida.

This Stingray is powered by a twin turbo system that utilizes a pair of precision ball bearing 62-mm turbochargers. The HPE system has been handcrafted and uses mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, dual turbo wastegates, and twin blow-off valves on the intercooler’s TIG-welded aluminum plenum.

To be more precise, due to the tuning this Chevy is capable of generating 707 hp (520 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 895 Nm (661 lb-ft) of torque. The powertrain is coupled with either a 7-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

The result of all this power is stunning. In details, when the car is equipped with 20-inch drag radial tires, it reaches 100 km/h from standstill in just 2.9 seconds, securing its way to the top speed of 210 mph.

More control for the additional power has been ensured by the HPE CarbonAero package which comprises of a carbon-fiber front spoiler, side sills and rear lip spoiler. They provide additional overall downforce.

The visual stance of the vehicle is rounded off by the 10-spoke Hennessey H10 forged monoblock wheels coupled with factory Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Due to the lightweight of these wheels, the car becomes over19 lb lighter. This results in the minimization of both rotational mass and unsprung weight.

  • Hennessey Stick An HPE500 On A Lexus LX 570 [VIDEO]

Hennessey-Lexus-LX-570-HPE500-shadowHennessey-Lexus-LX-570-HPE500-medium-1Remember last week’s Corvette C7? Well, here is another Hennessey brainchild. An HPE500 upgrade once again but this time on a Lexus LX 570 SUV. Better hide the kids because this one’s a bit of a brute.

Let’s cut to the chase: 500 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque. How have they done that? With a big TVS supercharger of course. Clear out the airways with a high-flow air filter, tweak the fuel injectors, calibrate the engine ECU and you’ve got yourself a first-class gas guzzler. The time it now takes to do a 0 to 60 mph sprint in it is 6.6 seconds That’s almost a whole 1 second faster. There are also complementary HPE500 badges here and there which, arguably, don’t make the LX 570 go faster, but they do add some clout.

If you want the full package, opt for some of the wheels and tires on offer. Beef up the suspension and add even more power with a new set of exhaust manifolds (because, obviously, the stock are just not good neough).

    Check it out:

  • 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 With HPE500 Upgrade

hennessey-hpe500-corvette-shadowhennessey-hpe500-corvette-01Hennessey do not fool around when it comes to sheer engine power. Take the 2014 Corvette C7 for example. With an added punch from the company’s HPE kits, these Stingrays vary in power to up to 1000 hp. A total number of 500 units is planned

This one here has an HPE500 kit which means it is as true to the original as it can be. Still, Hennessey’s work is evident when we look at the stainless steel long-tube exhaust manifolds, and the stainless steel midpipes, the installed high flow catalytic converters, and the engine management system tweak. Thus, the Corvette’s 6.2 L LT1 engine develops 507 hp which is a surplus of 50 hp when compared to outgoing models. Torque stands at 518 lb-ft @ 3,800 rpm. Everything has been trialled and tested by Hennessey themselves (see dyno video bellow).

A few bonus features that come with the HPE500 upgrade are the designating exterior badges, the carbon fiber door sills, premium floormats and serial-numbered dash and engine plaques. Optionally, you can also add some visuals. Fancy a CarbonAero rear lip spoiler? Throw in four H10 Monoblock wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on them, carbon-ceramic brakes, a Penske adjustable suspension upgrade, custom leather seats and you’ve got yourself a real eye-catcher.
