  • SR Auto Ford Mustang – the American Dream

SR-Auto-Ford-Mustang-THUMBSR Auto Ford Mustang just came out of the dark. Being a Ford Mustang, the car is firstly a true symbol of America’s contribution to the evolution of the automotive world.

The modification performed by SR Auto began with the wheels and suspension. To match Mustangs extraordinary power, they decided to equip the car with set of 18 inch wheels. Thanks to them, the tuners increased the profile of the tire to provide more traction.

Furthermore, they have also installed on this emblematic Ford model a set of H&R lowering springs to lower the Mustang’s center of gravity. This of course resulted in a more responsive and direct due to the drop handling.

In terms of performance, the tuners chose the simple Magnaflow catback exhaust system. In short, what basically this system did is to free up the airflow while giving this Mustang a nice growl.

In addition the throttle response was also improved via a sprint booster. This significantly increased the throttle response giving the person behind the wheel more control over the machine.

  • Formula Ford laps Nurburgring in 7:22 minutes [HD video]

A specially prepared race car by Ford called “Formulla” managed to lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 22 seconds. Another spectacular thing about the vehicle is its engine with only 1.0 liter of displacement.

The one-of a-kind, road-legal version of the latest Formula Ford single-seat racer completed the lap in 7 minutes, 22 seconds to register the 11th fastest time ever on the circuit – a performance that puts it ahead of a host of supercars including the 600+ horsepower Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari Enzo and Pagani Zonda.

“This little engine has people rubbing their eyes in disbelief,” commented racing driver and course specialist Nick Tandy, 28, who completed the drive.

“It’s simply astonishing that a 3-cylinder, one-litre engine can deliver that kind of performance.”, he added.

The 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine produces 205HP (151 kW), which is enough for top speed of over 255 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in less than 4 seconds. The car is fitted with a 6-speed manual gearbox and was driven on road-legal tyres.

The vehicle completed the 20.832 km (12.94 mile) Nordschleife circuit at an average speed of 169 km/h (105 mph).

In-house testing also showed the 1.0-litre EcoBoost-powered Formula Ford is capable of extremely frugal fuel economy, delivering 2.4 l/100 km (118 mpg) at 56 km/h (35 mph), and 5 l/100 km (57 mpg) at 120 km/h (75 mph).

  • SR Auto Ford Raptor – Unstoppable!

SR-Auto-Ford-Raptor-THUMBSR Auto Ford Raptor has no boundaries! This tuned Ford can withstand any driving condition, and it is literally unstoppable. SR Auto Group has made this Raptor triumph even more, equipping it with the necessary parts for this purpose.

Firstly, they improved the visibility of the vehicle during its long treks. In order to achieve this they have worked closely with Alumina Xenon company, which engineered a HID bi-xenon conversion system.

This kit they provided is with a straight plug and play system, which allowed the install to happen with complete ease. Next, the tuners paid attention to the performance part of this car.

They selected a short ram intake system made by AirAid, which includes an oil based filter and upgrades the power the vehicle generates. Moving towards the back end, a full stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust system was installed.

The exhaust includes immaculate welds with precise bends. This led to a side exit behind the rear wheel. In addition, the tips have a rolled angled edge to match the leading curve of the rear bumper. The result is that the exhaust now has a stunning deep tone which rises in pitch after 5000rpm.
