  • DMC Ferrari F12 SPIA Middle East Special Edition

DMC-Ferrari-F12-SPIA-Middle-East-Special-Edition-THUMBNew exciting project of the luxury tuners at DMC has just shown up. This time they have worked not on a Lamborghini but instead on Ferrari. The project is called DMC Ferrari F12 SPIA Middle East Special Edition.

The production Berlinetta generates 740 hp (544 kW), but this wasn’t enough for the professionals from Duesseldorf. This was the reason of the development of a performance package that enhances the power output of the sportscar up to 766 hp (563 kW) mark. The top speed after the tuning is nearly 354 km/h.

This new power is mainly achieved thanks to the new Titanium Exhaust System. An ECU refinement added also additional power for F12.

Of course, DMC couldn’t resist not improving the exterior stance of the car. They have equipped it with new set of forged Rims and Sport Springs. A combination of 21″ at the front and 22″ at the rear was used.

An effect of this step is that the overall handling of the vehicle was improved,. The sport springs on the other hand round-off the new appearance by supporting the new weight-ratio and handling. The new wheels were matched with Pirelli Sport Tyres in dimensions of 255/30 for the front and 335/25 for the rear.

In addition, DMC stayed true to its tradition and gave a carbon fiber body kit to this Ferrari, which adds aggressive new look and improved aerodynamics. To be more precise, the front diffuser is substituted with a prominent new lip splitter. The latter extends the car and includes own centric sword, which enhances the road stability.

Furthermore, the front hood is also replaced this time with a carbon fiber version. There is also an optional roof scoop. The extended side skirts use a pair of diffuser plates and stand out with flaps that match the ones that are also found on the front diffuser. Next, the trunk now has 599XX esque spoiler wing, which goes well along with the newly designed rear diffuser.

At last, what finalize the package are the interior refinements included. For example, inside the car there is an extensive use of Italian fine leathers and carbon fiber. In addition, there are also plenty of new buttons and trims and redesigned steering wheel.

  • Ferrari F12 Berlinetta – Options List

Ferrari cars are not for everyone, because they are too expensive to buy and to maintain. This is especially true for the F12 Berlinetta, which is the newest and most powerful Ferrari, ever. The starting price is $315,888, but the optional extras are insanely expensive.

This particular order form for such car shows, how the price easily increase to over $380k just for several additional extras. As the author of the picture showed one of the most ridiculous options is the carbon fiber cup holder for whopping $3,533 – this is too much even for billionaires. There are also other unnecessary extras like carbon fiber dash inserts for $7,227, carbon fiber bridge for $3,051  and grey-painted brake calipers for $1,445.

Everybody admits that the F12 Berlinetta is one of the best sports cars in the world, but these prices just can ruin the whole idea!

  • DMC Transforms Ferrari 458 Italia Spider

DMC-Ferrari-458-Italia-Spider-THUMBDMC are known for their tunings on Lamborghini. We have seen recently however, that they had a great success on their modification on the F12 Ferrari. Now, their latest work is on the 458 Italia Spider which includes a DMC 458 Performance Package and Forged Rims.

The standard power that this Ferrari model produces is estimated at 570 hp (420 kW). This wasn;t enough for the tuners from the German brand, hence they have developed a performance package that makes the car generate 608 hp (447) and 568 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. The newly gained power is mainly due to the remapped engine management system for maximized ignition and injection, and the Stainless Steel Exhaust.

Adding to this is the new set of forged Rims and Sport Springs. They were created in order to enhance the OEM wheels. Having this in mind DMC decided to give the supercar a combination of 21″ wheels at the front and 22″ ones at the rear. This results not only in the better on-road presence of the car, but also enhances the overall handling.

Furthermore, the sport springs finalize the new appearance of the Ferrari in terms of supporting the new weight-ratio and handling. The rims were matched with Pirelli Sport Tyres in size of 255/30 for the front, and 335/25 for the rear.

At last, the interior has received treatment as well. Throughout the cabin were utilized the finest leathers and carbon fiber. Plenty of buttons and trims are available as well as a redesigned steering wheel.

  • Eleven Supercars Auctioned for €3.1 million

A really lucky buyer got eleven supercars for only €3,100,000 (around $4 million) from an auction. The fleet includes two Bugatti Veyrons, a Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT, Maserati MC12, Ferrari 599GTO, a Rolls-Royce, an Aston Martin, a Maybach and two Bentleys.

All these cars were owned by Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue who is the son of Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

During an investigation back in 2011, the vehicles were seized by French authorities after an alleged theft of public funds at home in the African nation. All eleven supercars were seized at the president’s incredible 101-room mansion, which is located near Champs Elysees.

Some of the supercars were barely driven or not at all, so the value is several times that buyer paid. A second hand Veyron starts from €800,000, an Enzo costs at least €1 million and the Carrera GT is around €300,000, if the buyer decides to sell all of them he will make fast several million €.

The 11 vehicles were part of a more extensive 26-supercar fleet which was shipped from United States to France in 2009. We wonder what happened to other 15?
