Chevrolet has released another teaser for the 2012 Malibu. This time the picture is from the interior and it was posted on Facebook.There is no further information about the extras, but 2012 Malibu will feature a nice infotainment system, high quality material, a start button and the steering wheel from the Cruze.The new Malibu is an addition to the global lineup and will join the Volt, Cruze, Aveo and Spark models.2012 Chevrolet Malibu is expected to be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 19th. 6 Bertone concept cars will be auctioned
Six iconic concept cars by Bertone will be sold at the RM Auctions, which specializes in rare classics. The reason is the bankruptcy of the Italian design house.The vehicles are just amazing – a 1963 Chevrolet Testudo, a 1967 Lamborghini Marzal, a 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero, a 1974 Lamborghini Bravo, a 1978 Lancia Sibilo and 1980 Lamborghini Athon.
The Lamborghini Marzal and the Lancia Stratos HF Zero are expected to sell for between €1 000 000 and €1 800 000.
1963 Chevrolet Testudo boasts 2.7 litre six-cylinder engine with 142BHP (106 kW).
1967 Lamborghini Marzal is powered by a 2.0 litre 175BHP (130 kW) in-line six-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero has a a 1.6 litre V4 engine with 132BHP (98 kW).
1978 Lancia Sibilo, there is no information about the car.
1980 Lamborghini Athon is powered by 3.0 litre V8 with 260BHP (194 kW). The car was never intended to be put into production, because of Lamborghini’s financial troubles at the time sealing its fate.
The auction will take place at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Como, Italy, on May 21.

Lupini Power is introducing Chevrolet SuperUte, which woulb be a real rival to BMW M3 Pickup.“As huge BMW M fans, we’d love to see an M3 Pickup as our SuperUte’s only real market rival,” commented Michele Lupini
“It is hugely gratifying to note that M has taken note of a need for such top-end pick-up vehicles, although we do also need to point out that SuperUte is certainly no joke – our development cycle is now close to being completed and we’ll soon be ready to deliver.”, he added.
Chevrolet SuperUte is powered by a 6.0 liter supercharged V8 with brutal 535BHP and 800Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The acceleration to 60mph is under 5 seconds and to 100mph in 9.9 seconds. The Pick-up does ¼ mile in 12.7 seconds at 113mph. The top speed is 175mph (281 km/h).
The car from LupiniPower also features upgraded brake system, more effective suspension and some other very important styling modifications.
SuperUte stands on enormous 20” wheels with 8.5J at the front and 10J at the rear fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE050 ultra-high performance tyres. The options list includes full Bilstein suspension and a limited-slip differential. The Pick-up will be produced in limited series.

Chevrolet Miray concept
General Motors Korea has unveiled Chevrolet Miray concept at the 2011 Seoul Motor Show.Miray is powered by two front-mounted electric motors with 20PS (15 kW) of power each coupled with a 1.5 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine mounted mid-rear which drives the rear wheels. The battery pack is lithium-ion and has a capacity of 1.6 kWh. It can be recharged through regenerative braking. The engine is mated to a dual-clutch gearbox.
Miray can go only on electricity, but Chevrolet didn’t provide any information about the range or performance characteristics.
Chevrolet Miray stands on enormous 20” wheels at the front and 21” at the rear. The sports car features future design, but it is inspired by the 1963 Monza SS and the 1962 Corvair Super Spyder. However, the car looks really gorgeous.
The interior includes start button, ambient lighting and dual-cockpit design for both the driver and passenger area.

Chevrolet Colorado Concept
Colorado Concept will be exhibited by Chevrolet at the Bangkok International Motor Show. One thing is for sure – the truck looks gorgeous!Chevrolet Colorado Concept features big grille, polished aluminum accents and LED headlights. The concept also has an extended-cab, a body-color tonneau cover and 20” alloy wheels with Cooper Zeon off-road tires.
The interior boasts a motorcycle-inspired instrument cluster, leather seats, dark wood trim, and chrome accents. There are also a dual-zone climate control system and a multimedia system with a 7” touchscreen display.
Chevrolet Colorado is powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which is very strange, because the trucks usually come with automatic. The power is put on the road through AWD system.
Chevy will launch the production model in Thailand later this year.

Chevrolet will offer Captiva Sport in the United States. Variants of the compact crossover are sold in more than 50 markets across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, the Middle East and South America.“It says a lot about our ability to draw on international programs and proven, quality crossovers that we were able to identify and federalize a strong new entrant such as Captiva Sport for the U.S. market,” commented Alan Batey, US vice president, Chevrolet Sales and Service.
“We turned to our global network for a solution to quickly meet the rising demand from local fleet customers and continue to meet strong retail demand for the Equinox.”, he added.
Chevy Captiva Sport will be available for delivery in the end of 2011, as a 2012 model.
The standard equipment boasts air conditioning, power locks and windows, a six-speaker audio system and 17” aluminum wheels.
There are two engines available – 2.4 liter Ecotec with 185PS (136 kW) and 233Nm (172 lb-ft) and 3.0 liter V6 with 268PS (197 kW) and 301Nm (222 lb-ft). Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and AWD system is optional.
“The range of features offered by the Captiva Sport is as rich as any Chevrolet vehicle,” said Batey.
“Our fleet customers will find it to be a versatile vehicle that gives them the cargo capacity they need, in a fuel efficient package that will help keep their ownership costs in check.”, he finished.

WTCC 2011 Chevrolet Cruze 1.6 turbo
Chevrolet had an awesome racing year and now it is time for 2011 WTCC Cruze to be taken on another season after its victorious run. The brand won both the Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ cups in the 2010 WTCC with the Cruze.For this season, Chevrolet has unveiled the 2011 spec version, which meets FIA’s regulations.
The most important is the switching from naturally aspirated 2.0 liter engines to turbocharged 1.6 liter units.
So, the 2011 WTCC Chevrolet Cruze now comes with a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol with 310PS (228 kW) and 335Nm (247 lb-ft) of torque. The car is completely redesigned to put in order the new cooling and ancillary engine systems, front suspension, brakes, aerodynamics and weight distribution.
The driver lineup includes world champion Yvan Muller and Rob Huff.
The 2011 WTCC Chevrolet Cruze will make its debut next weekend in Brazil at the Curitiba race.
