2014 Chevrolet Camaro – UK Price £35,320

The 2014 Camaro will go on sale across Europe towards the end of this year. The pricing in the UK starts from £35,320 for the coupe with manual gearbox. The convertible with manual transmission is priced from £40,320.

2014 Chevrolet Camaro boasts revised exterior appearance that integrates high-performance aerodynamics, allowing for more efficient cooling and stability at high speeds. The front fascia has a wider lower grille and a narrower upper grille, while the functional hood vent helps reduce heat and aerodynamic lift. At the rear, a sculptural deck lid, horizontal lamps and diffuser complete the facelift.

The powerful 6.2 liter engine has 432HP (318 kW) with manual gearbox and 405HP (298 kW) with the automatic transmission, which has TAP shift functionality.

Remote keyless entry is standard, and customers can opt for remote engine start functionality on the automatic variants.

Chevrolet MyLink technology comes as standard, with a 7” touch-screen, rear-view camera and a voice recognition system that, together with the new colour heads-up display, helps drivers keep their eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel. 2014 Chevrolet SS – US Price $44,470

Chevrolet has announced the pricing of the all-new 2014 SS Sports Sedan. It starts from $44,470 including a $995 destination charge. The car will hit the showrooms in the end of this year.

2014 Chevrolet SS is powered by a LS3 6.2 litre V8 with 415HP (310 kW) and 563Nm (415 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a 6-speed matic transmission that can be shifted manually using TAPshift paddles mounted on the steering wheel. 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds.

Reuss Paced Indy Dual In Detroit In 2014 Corvette Stingray [VIDEO]

The president of General Motors North America himself – Mark Reuss had driven the 2014 Corvette Stingray Pace Car in the Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit this weekend. Being a lifelong racing enthusiast he had the opportunity and experienced the joy of driving this unique automobile.

The Indy Dual in Detroit races are part of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix weekend. It began this Friday on 31st of May, where Reuss participated in both Indy Dual races. He said that the experience was a thrill for him given that it was for him for the first time to drive the model on a greater field.

The audience at the event had the opportunity of seeing the Corvette Pace Car earlier. In fact, the production model that goes on sale later this summer. Corvette Stingray Pace Car is powered by the all-new 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 from the forthcoming production model. It also includes advanced technologies such as direct fuel injection, continuously variable valve timing and Active Fuel Management.

The unit generates 460 horsepower (338 kW) with the available performance exhaust system. The interior on the other hand is made via carbon fiber and aluminum trim, hand-wrapped leather materials, and also features dual eight-inch configurable infotainment screens, and two new seat choices.

2014 Chevrolet Malibu Delivers More Roominess

2014 Chevrolet Malibu has been unveiled and it comes to offer to its customers more space, refinements and efficiency. It includes an updated styling and interior, as well as new 2.5L standard engine and suspension enhancements.

At last, the other optional safety features offered here include the New Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Malibu also comes with 10 standard air bags and an available rearview camera system. 2014 Chevrolet Malibu goes on sale this autumn.

2014 Cevrolet Corvette Stingray Rated At 460 Horsepower

The latest SAE certifications have confirmed that the 2014 Corvette Stingray has the most powerful standard engine ever. Namely, the new LT1 6.2L V-8 engine has been rated officially at 460 horsepower (343 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque (630 Nm) at 4,600 rpm, with the available performance exhaust system.

The Stingray is SAE-certified at 455 horsepower (339 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) with the standard exhaust system. These numbers signify that the particular Corvette model has the highest standard power ratings ever. In addition the efficiency that it shows is expected to exceed 26 mpg on the highway.

Therefore, drivers can expect to experience even greater acceleration because the power and torque of the unit surpass many other engines offered on the market. As a matter of fact, at 74 horsepower per liter, the LT1 offers greater power density than the C6 Corvette’s LS3 6.2L engine and even the C6 Z06’s racing-derived 7.0L LS7.

It is the first-ever application which helps save fuel by shutting down half of the engine’s cylinders in light-load driving. Thirdly, the continuously variable valve timing is now upgraded and it support the LT1 AFM and direct injection systems. The effect is additional enhancement of the performance, efficiency and emissions.

These three technologies on other hand support the new advanced combustion system. The latter includes new cylinder-head and sculpted piston design, which in turn contributes towards high-compression.

It is also important to mention the other engine features include that play their part here. These are the advanced oiling system with oil-spray piston cooling and available dry-sump oiling, engine-mounted camshaft-driven fuel pump, intake manifold with “runners in a box” design, four-into-one exhaust manifolds based on the design of the LS7 engine, Small Block legacy.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe will be available at dealerships this autumn while its Convertible sibling – by the end of the year.

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Concept Debuts At Hot Rod Power Tour

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Concept will lead a caravan of Chevrolet high-performance production and concept vehicles at the beginning of the Hot Rod Power Tour, which is a weeklong road trip. Some of the other models which are going to be included in this event are the Camaro ZL1 Convertible, Camaro Hot Wheels Edition and the Corvette 427 Collector Edition Convertible.

The Power Tour starts on 1st of June in Arlington, Texas and will end in a week later. The Hot Wheels Camaro Concept pays tribute to the Custom Camaro that was part of the original 16 Hot Wheels toys produced in 1968. In addition the model is a true example of Chevrolet Performance’s brand new emissions-compliant LS3 E-ROD Connect and Cruise crate powertrain system.

The latter system features 430 horsepower (316 kW) LS3 engine mated to a 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission. Other engines and components that are going to be on display at the Chevrolet Performance trailer are the LSX454R, ZZ572 and ZZ383 crate engines; a partial chassis with an LS376/575 engine and 4L85E transmission installed; an LSA engine/4L85E transmission Connect & Cruise powertrain package; and a parts board with critical components like engine controllers and vehicle-specific parts.

What is more, at the event, Chevrolet will also drive the one-of-a-kind “Motor Medic” Silverado support vehicle. It is equipped with tools and parts that are designed in order to help Power Tour drivers keep their cars on the road.

2014 Chevrolet Spark EV – Pricing Announced

2014 Chevrolet Spark EV goes officially on sale and in fact is the most affordable EV currently on the automotive market. Its price tag starts at $27 495 and in addition there is an option for low mileage lease for as low as $199 per month.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray To Pace Indy 500

The seventh-generation 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. It will lead the field to green at the start of the 97th running of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,” on May 26, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
