    KW-Clubsport-BMW-M4-tKW-Clubsport-BMW-M4-651

If you are one of those adrenaline rush drivers who want to improve and get hit the maximum potential their BMW M4 Coupé and M3 sedan both on the streets and the track, there is nothing better than the KW Clubsport coil overs. They have been designed at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and they allow different adjustments and compression. There are a lot of options to adjust the coilovers and additional upgrades such as increased engine power, modified type of the brakes and semi-click tyres. When driving fast the steering precision and comfort are going to be improved by the increased rebound force and the availability of rebound adjustment on the upper end of the piston rod.

All of the adjustments can be achieve with a low number of clicks, starting from the damping force in KW V3 and Clubsport 2-way whith 12 clicks and ending with the high-speed adjustment, with only 14 steps.  However, there are no top mounts available for Variant 3 coilovers. A sporty, extreme driving is best achieved from Clubsport designs and technology, which suit perfectly the BMW M4 and M3.

Providing excellent safety, control and high-end technology, you can easily hit the track or the road with your BMW M4 or M3, with the option of comfortably choosing ride settings of sporty or comfortable. The KW adjustable lowering springs can be lowered to about 5 to 25 mm.

  • Vorsteiner Introduces BMW F82 M4 GTS Edition

Vorsteiner-BMW-F82-M4-GTS-Edition-THUMBVorsteiner BMW F82 M4 GTS Edition is another example that for decades the iconic BMW M-Series is the driving force of automotive fascination – both in terms of design and performance.  The specialists at Vorsteiner decided to do an expansion program which will fit both the M3 and M4. Under their expertise were the latest generation F80 M3 and F82 M4. And as you can judge by the pictures below – the result is stunning.

The experts in lightweight construction and strength optimization have specifically developed parts that keep their principles: forward thinking, evolution of automobiles, and value of personal diversity. In particular, the new F8x carbon fiber rear diffuser is a particularly complex feature of ingenuity.  The reason for this lies in the fact that it is very difficult to manufacture such slender fins, rarely seen in a single monocoque construction carbon diffuser.

In fact, all of the aerodynamic components were engineered and designed with the help of 3D alias software in conjunction with the blue light laser scanning technology and 5 axis CNC milling machines for rapid prototyping.

The chassis for the F8x M3 and M4 chassis includes matte black Sport Challenge Forged VSC-101 Monoblock Wheels that come in size 20×10 inches at the front, and 20×11 inches at the rear. The alloys come coupled with Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the dimensions of 275/30/20 and 295/30/20 at the front and rear respectively.

This Vorsteiner GTS Edition also got carbon add-on front spoiler, custom livery foil kit, embroidered velour floor mats for the interior as well as exclusive stainless dual walled exhaust tips in brushed or diamond black finish.

  • ///M Initiation – BMW M4 Coupe Drifts at a Special Course

BMW has published a new spectacular promotional video featuring M4 Coupe and 52 other ///M models. The Yellow sports car drifts around a specially prepared course of fan-owned BMW M cars.

The manufacturer didn’t name every single model taking part in the video, but we suggest that almost all available ///M models are covered including 4 race cars.

2014 BMW M4 Coupe is powered by a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo Inline six-cylinder – 431HP (317 kW) at 5,500RPM and 550Nm (406 lb-ft) at 1,850RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) or an optional 280 km/h (174 mph). The acceleration is even better, when fitted with the optional 7-speed ///M DCT – 4.1 seconds to 100 km/h. The new M4 is able to cover 100 km with just 8.8 liters of fuel in the combined cycle with the manual transmission and 8.3 liter with the DCT. The BMW M4 Coupe will start with an MSRP of $65,125.

Recently, we found out that the new M4 is even more powerful than stated and it has at least 480HP (353 kW). So, don’t mind why it drifts so easily through the impressive course.

    The final is epic! Enjoy!

  • 2014 BMW M3 Sedan – 424 WHP [video]

It appears that the all-new 2014 BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe are a lot underrated in terms of performance figures. Although BMW says that the new performance engine (S55B30) produces 431HP (317 kW) and 550Nm (406 lb-fT), the dyno runs prove something else.

2014 BMW M3 Sedan made several runs – 424HP (312 kW) and 574Nm (425 lb-ft), 422HP (310 kW) and 573Nm (424 lb-ft) and 419HP (308 kW)and 562Nm (416 lb-ft). On the first sight, everything looks good, but these measurements actually show the wheel-horsepower. Usually the RWD (rear-wheel drive cars) lose around 15 % of engine power, when its transmitted through gearbox, driveshaft and differential. In other words, the new M3 produces around 480HP (353 kW) and 648Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque, which is 50HP and nearly 100Nm more than the stated numbers.

We suspected that the new generation of M3 and M4 will be more powerful, but not that much. The original time for 0-100 km/h is just 4.3 seconds, which seems quite fast for a sports car with 431HP. BMW also said that the M5 F10 produces 560HP (412 kW), but according to a number of dyno tests, it develops a lot more.

Now the acceleration figures of the latest generation M3 make sense. Enjoy the video!
