This M3 runs on 19-inch alloys shod with 265/35R19 and 305/35R19 Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires. There is also a fully adjustable coil-over suspension set-up, which allows for adjustable ride height.

    The Engine Change

     Alpha-N Performance BMW M3 BT92 V10 Front View

Originally, the M3 Coupe comes from the factory equipped with the 4.0-liter V8 unit. However, the Alpha-N Performance tuners decided to give it more sporting spirit, thus substituting the original engine with a V10 unit from the big brother M5. But the changes do not end here. The 5.0 liters engine has been boosted and optimized via ECU mapping, allowing the big V10 to produce 640hp (471 kW).

In order to be in concert with the enhanced power, Brembo brakes were a must. They feautres 6-piston callipers on 380mm vented discs clamped by six-pot callipers at the front, and 355mm vented discs with four-pot callipers at the rear.

    The Interior

     Alpha-N Performance BMW M3 BT92 V10 Interior

We rarely see that much effort put on a project, but this BMW M3 also has its interior enhanced. The cabin was covered in the finest leather, features Recaro sports seats, BMW Performance steering wheel, dashboard, centre console, door panels and headlining, including pillar trim pieces.

Now that’s a nice way to start the day-off, isn’t it? Looks like Alpha-N Performance will catch today’s Oscar for best and most thorough custom BMW…

P.S. Look out for AC Schnitzer’s BMW that comes up next.

  • B&B Automobiltechnik Shows How to Boost Performance of BMW M4/M3

B&B Automobiltechnik BMW M4 F82 Front ViewB&B Automobiltechnik has created a special comprehensive performance package not for one but two models of the BMW M family. We are talking about the M3 (F80) and M4 (F82), and the particular illustrated example is BMW M4 Convertible. The pack is broad and features a lot of tweaks for the engine and the handing. The main goal is to boost as much as possible the performance and driving capabilities of the car.

    How to Boost Performance?

If you have ever wondered about the ways to boost the performance of your car, here are some ideas that might be useful to you. In terms of software, B&B is offering a three-staged program, which uplifst dramatically the power and torque of the BMW TwinPower Turbo straight-six engine. As a standard the unit produces 431 hp (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.

SEE ALSO: Power Boosts Define B&B Jeep Grand Cherokee

The intermediate Stages 1 and 2 uprate these numbers to 490 hp (360 kW) and 540 hp (397 kW), respectively, while the highest one uplifts the horses to 580 hp (426 kW) and the torque to 750 Nm (555 lb-ft). All three stages feature software adaptation for the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and removal of the top speed limiter.

    B&B Automobiltechnik BMW M4 F82 Engine

Next, additional performance boosts were achieved with modified turbochargers, higher-flow intake tract, larger exhaust downpipes, more efficient charge air cooler, and an ECU remap with revised fuel, spark and boost parameters.

But let me impress you with more details. In Stage 3, the M3 and M4 can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, in comparison to the standard 4.6 seconds. The 0-200-km/h time is reduced from 13.4 to 11.2 seconds, while the Vmax goes over 330 km/h.

Something you need if you add all of this inside your M4 is B&B’s thermostatically-controlled supplementary oil cooler system. It is recommended for all three engine upgrade stages, because it lowers thermal stress on the motor by reducing oil temperatures by up to 25°C.

    Handling And More…

    B&B Automobiltechnik BMW M4 F82 Front End

Boosts in performance require optimized handling. B&B offers various ways of doing it: a threaded height adjustable sport suspension kit (lowering up to 25 mm), set of sport springs (lowering up to 30 mm) and the super cool KW coil-over suspension. The latter offers ride height and damper bounce, thus substantially enhances chassis performance.

High performance brake system was added and it comprises of 396 mm and 380 mm vented discs. At last, rounding out this tuning are the B&B 9.0 and 11.0×20-inch alloy wheels shod with 255/30R20 and 305/25R20 tires.

    Software Optimization

After the software changes done to the engine, the result is 450 HP (331 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. The tops speed was also boosted and now reaches above 300 km/h (180 mph). In addition, the installed Evo exhaust system has significant part of the fulminate Performance of this M3. The new exhaust and all of the “surgical” changes on this BMW are all work of the Clubsport team.

    Exterior Changes

And have you spotted the huge 19-inch black rims, which were coated with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires in 245/35-19 on front and 265/35-19 on the rear axle. The tuners also installed spacer plates of 10 mm on the front and 15 mm on rear axle, KW Clubsport variant 2 coilovers with camber regulation combined with H&R stabilizer kit, and the yellow painted Stoptech braking system.

    Sportier Interior

  • PP Exclusive and Liberty Walk Unite for Monstrous BMW M3-Based Tuning

PP Exclusive BMW M3 E92 Liberty Walk Front ViewLast time we have heard about a project by PP Exclusive was nearly 3 years ago. Now I am very glad to introduce you to their latest tuning, which is based on the BMW M3 E92 model and on top of that features Liberty Walk widebody kit. Take a look at the pictures an you’ll see how menacing this beast-like machine looks. Right? The details here aren’t many but they are definitely worthy of telling.

So how were those two tuning worlds involved in the same project? Basically, PP Excluive decided to give the car more masculine and aggressive appearance and needed the help of the experts from Japan. So they made sure to receive the widebody kit by LB Performance. The so called Liberty Walk pack features visibly bolted wings, besides the broadened appeal.

In addition, the perfect appearance of the car was further accomplished via the KW Clubsport coilovers that are so cool that they can be adjusted multiple times. Next, the four tailpipes of the Akrapovič exhaust system with X-Pipe and black anodized tailpipes were added into the beamy rear diffuser.

PP Exclusive then stepped in and added their pimp-styled “Deep Concave”. The three-piece forged wheels have an anodized aluminum outer rim and five wide spokes… and are gold-plated. By the way, the rims are exclusively finished with special carbon inlays.

Regarding the size of the alloys, the front received 11×20 inches, which are rotating with tires sized 285.  The rear got slightly bigger ones: 13×20 inches and run with tires sized 325. Tell us what you think!

  • Contrast is Everywhere. Including Vorsteiner BMW M3 E92

Vorsteiner BMW M3 E92 Front ViewVorsteiner decided to make some magic to the BMW M3 E92 model. The particular car they have worked with comes in the classic Alpine White exterior color, so they had the opportunity to create a stunning contrast with a few additional details and parts. And it seems that although each of these elements individually stands out, when brought together they create a result that is just right as if it was always meant to be.

    Vorsteiner Body Kit

‘Contrast’ could be a synonym to Vorsteiner’s body kit for the white M3. The opposite colors contribute for even more aggressive look of the vehicle. Precisely, it comprises of an in-house made boot lid as well as GTS7 front bumper and GTS-V rear diffuser. In this way, the sporty appearance is ensured as is the better aerodynamics.

SEE ALSO: Vorsteiner BMW M4 Gets EVO Aero Kit

Vorsteiner BMW M3 E92 Front and Side View

Vorsteiner is also famous for its one-off design for the wheels it produces. Of course, they also come in black (Mystic Black to be more precise) and measure 19×9.5 and 19×10.5 inches. Under the name VFF-103, they play their role wrapped in 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 tires. It seems that opposites really do attract.

    Power and Torque

Unfortunately, as much as we like this E92, Vorsteiner did not enhance the power of the mighty V8 under its hood. But if you take a deep thought then you would definitely wonder why is the uprating necessary? It isn’t of course, because the high-revving 4.0 litre V8 engine produces 420 hp (309 kW) at 8300 rpm and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) at 3900 rpm! This helps the car accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Without the limiter, E92 M3 can easily go beyond the 300 km/h (186 mph).

  • KBR Motorsport and the Fierce BMW M3 Clubsport

KBR Motorsport BMW E92 M3 Clubsport Front ViewKBR Motorsport is a name we do not hear very often. This time the tuner is related with BMW and specifically with the M3 Clubsport model. The car was subject to a total transformation: starting with the interior, continuing to the external appearance and ending with the engine boost. As a result, KBR made an entirely sports car, full of thirst for motorsport experiences.

    Weight Loss?

KBR Motorsport BMW E92 M3 Clubsport Interior

The interior of the 2013 M3 Coupe was entirely stripped down. And therefore the most logical thing to do was to remove all unnecessary parts like the seats, trim and cladding and sound insulation, which were all taken from both the cabin and the boot.

SEE ALSO: Volkswagen Passat CC by KBR Motorsport

But to make things look pretty, KBR then painted the interior in body colour and bolted in a full white roll cage. The doors and rear trim panels are also new and are made from carbon-fibre. The removed seats were substituted with Recaro Profi SPG motorsport ones by 4-point Schroth race harnesses.

Visually, the M3 looks fairly close to the production variant. However, there are some additional elements like the carbon-fibre parts front splitter, mirrors and Clubsport rear wing.

    Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tires

KBR Motorsport BMW E92 M3 Clubsport Rear View

KW delivered the Clubsport coil-over suspension system for this unique project. By the way, the suspension features adjustable top mounts. BBS Competition wheels were the next logical choice of the tuner. The alloys come in size of 9.5×19-inches and they were shod with 265/30ZR19 Pirelli Trofeo rubbers. Behind the wheels there is an uprated brake system, which uses Endless discs and brake pads.

    Engine Boost

The consequence of the weight loss is the higher speed and better acceleration. But KBR also increased the output of the M3’s 4.0-litre V8 engine. They have done this via re-mapping the unit’s ECU. The result is 450 hp (331 kW) with 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque.

The transmission software was also updated, thus improving the shifting with the customized engine. They also installed a device, which enhances e-gas throttle response. A GT4-spec oil cooler system and additional reservoir were added, too.

The backpressure of the exhaust system was lowered due to the removal of the primary catalytic converters and the modified rear silencer. In addition, the exhaust uses an in-house developed X-Pipe. But there is more to come, although KBR Motorsport didn’t announce what they will add to the M3.

  • RevoZport BMW M4 Exemplifies the Best Way to Boost Your M-Series

RevoZport BMW M4BMW M3 and M4 are probably examples of the most praised German cars around the world. And when it comes to M series, BMW enthusiasts always go crazy, don’t they? This is beneficial especially for tuning companies, because they always offer help when it comes to making the most individual, the best looking and most performance-capable car.

The same counts for the enhancement program that just has been released by RevoZport. The experts have created a special RZ-Performance aerokit for the BMW M3 and M4 models. In the gallery below, you will find pictures of the M4 series only, which has been equipped with the special pack.

BMW M3 has always been one of the most praised models and now it gets the most practical aerokit.

SEE ALSO: R-Zentric is the new “Black” for Tesla Model S [VIDEO]

Basically, the aero kit offers a little bit more aggressive interpretation of the M3 and M4. And please note, that it has been specifically created for the models equipped BMW Performance Package, meaning that they will already have an extra exhaust, intake or whatsoever. By the way, this is probably the best way to improve your Bavarian’s performance.

This is why RevoZport’s M aerokit steps on the BMW Performance products and adds a list of additional enhancements.

    RZ-Performance Aerokit for BMW M3 & M4

    RevoZport BMW M4 Rear View

As you can see, the front of this M4 is characterized by add-on lip extension and side fender spoiler. And if you wonder how these extras affect the car, well they give it more aggressive look and also improve its down force.

Furthermore, the brakes here received cooling duct, which comes with high temperature hose, air ducts and brakets. This helps in cooling the temperature of the front brakes, thus improving stopping performance.

Some people say that the “devil is in the details”, and this is why we have probably missed the new side skirts at first glance. However, what helps in our “discovery” is the RevoZport-made BMW front fender spoiler. Combined with the new rear fender spoiler, this makes a harmonious finish to the overall design of the car.

Cool new GT wing is visible within an instance.

At last, rounding out the new visual effect is a special treatment to the rear end. Unlike the details, the GT wing is clearly visible within an instance. It is complemented by a two-element rear diffuser featuring a bumper skirts.

Although RevoZport offers only an aero kit, and no improvement to the exhaust or engine’s performance, I believe that most BMW enthusiasts will be very keen on this project here. Basically, the pack has boosted the looks, aerodynamics and braking performance of the M4, and this makes it one of the most practical aerokits currently on the market.

  • G-POWER BMW M3 Comes with Tremendous Torque Results!

G-Power BMW M3 Engine 2015 G-POWER BMW M3 F80 can pump out 560 horsepower and 720 Newton meters of torque. The reason for this is that the famous M3 series have received in-house developed Bi-Tronik 2 V2 remap. The difference here is that unlike generic remaps, this one is customized for the original control unit in the particular vehicle on the pictures below.

    Bi-Tronik 2 V2 Package for the G-POWER BMW M3

What does this mean? The BMW M3 can now actually achieve maximum all-round performance enhancement. As a matter of fact, this is the hardest way to implement such upgrade. The reason for this is that one has to crack the factory 128-bit encryption first.

SEE ALSO: G-Power Releases the Ultimate BMW M6 Capable of 1001 Horses!

The experts at G-POWER had obviously no hindrances in applying this method, because they have achieved great results. In addition, to prove that everything runs smoothly, they have made extensive test runs on the dyno and real world testing on the autobahns and country roads. The end effect is visible via the improved performance and outstanding drivability of the Bi-Tronik 2 V2 conversion.

    G-POWER BMW M3 Exterior Tuning

    G-Power BMW M3 Exterior

Furthermore this G-POWEER BMW M3 also received some additional tuning improvements which support the Bi-Tronik 2 V2 package and perfectly complement it. Precisely, the tuners installed downpipes that substantially reduce the exhaust back pressure.

In fact, the in-house made titanium exhaust system features four 90-millimeter tailpipes, but future customers can opt for titanium or carbon ones. It also includes a sound flap in the rear silencer with remote control regulation. Because of the lightweight materials, car’s weight dropped by up to 7.1 kg.

Having a reduced unsprung mass means only a need of handling improvement. Hence, G-POWER added to this BMW M3 21-inch HURRICANE RR alloys and fitted them with 245/30ZR21 and 295/25ZR21 Michelin tires.

The wheels are actually made of ultra-light aircraft-grade aluminium. They are available in Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey and Stardust Silver, and in this case come in the aforementioned grey color.

    G-POWER BMW M3 Performance Figures

    G-Power BMW M3 Performance Figures

The output of this car is now 560 hp (412 Nm) strong at 6,500 rpm and can generate 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of optimum torque at 4,500 rpm. This means additional 129 hp (95 kW) and 170 Nm (125 lb-ft).

This enhancement catapults the Bavarian super car to 100km/h from a standing start in just 3.8 seconds. The Vmax have been released from its factory limitation and now reaches 310km/h.

  • BMW 3 Series Family Gets Minor Updates for 2016 Model Year

The updated BMW 3 Series cars are here. There are minor updates throughout the range, but still the emblematic car family look stunning. The 3 Series has been an icon for over 40 year and in its sixth generation it continues to set standards for design, dynamic excellence and efficiency. New for the 2016 model year are some changes in the design, the advanced technologies featured and some engine range. Available in sedan and touring forms, I must admit that the 3 Series are more attractive than ever before.

    Exterior

In terms of exterior changes, the updated model range receives various improvements. At the front, we see new aprons with redesigned air intakes. As an option, the car gets the Active Cruise Control (ACC), which has sensors integrated into the central air intake. The most prominent features here are the refreshed headlights and the LED daytime driving lights, while the full-LED headlights come as an option.

At the back, the new thing is the design of the rear apron, which features Line-specific trim element. Just like at the front, the car gets standard LED rear lights, further highlighting the sporting nature of the 3 Series.

    Interior

The interior is updated via chrome highlights for the controls, air vents and central control panel. In fact, the centre console is entirely new and features sliding cover for the cupholders. Of course, BMW is offering a wide range of options, which can make the car as individual as one wishes.

    Engine Range

There are exactly four petrol and seven diesel units available. They develop range from 116 hp (85 kW) to 326 hp (240 kW) and can be coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox and an eight-speed Steptronic transmission. The latter comes as a standard on the BMW 330d, BMW 335d and BMW 340i Touring. In addition, the customer can choose whether to drive a rear-wheel drive or xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive BMW.

Precisely, the three-, four- and six-cylinder petrol engines are now sourced from the BMW EfficientDynamics engine family. The four-cylinder diesel engines include revised turbochargers, while the three-cylinder petrol engine is an entirely new option for the 3 Series.

SEE ALSO: BMW M6 Awaits its Owner From MotoGP Event!

The four-cylinder petrol engine makes a debut in the BMW 320i Sedan and 320i Touring,  offering a combined fuel consumption starting at 5.3 liters per 100 km and emitting CO2 as little as 124 g/kg.

Another premiere is making the four-cylinder unit in the BMW 330i Sedan and 330i Touring with a fuel consumption of 5.5 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 129 g/km, as well as the six-cylinder petrol unit in the BMW 340i Sedan and 340i Touring. The latter has a combined fuel consumption rating, starting at 6.5 l/100 km and CO2 emissions beginning at 152 g/km.

Impressive are the figures of the 320d EfficientDynamics Edition Sedan, which has a fuel consumption of 3.8 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km, and which develops 163 hp (120 kW).

    Technology

Navigation system Professional and LTE mobile technology are the features that are entirely new for the 3 Series. The full-color BMW Head-Up Display shows all information in the driver’s field of vision. In addition, the new BMW 3 Series is the first model to support the fastest current mobile technology standard (LTE). What is more, Parking Assistant feature will help drivers to make automatic parallel parking.

BMW 3 Series family includes the Sedan, M Sport Sedan, M3, 320d Touring and its EfficientDynamics Edition. The models will go on sale in July, while pricing will be announced at a later date.

  • G-Power BMW M3 Gains More Horses

G-Power specialists are mostly known for their exceptional BMW tunings and it is not a secret that they prefer to work on the M series. But who wouldn’t? The buzz around them is that they have revised their supercharger program for the V8-powered M3 model, thus making it gain 20 horses. But there is more to that. This new program also counts those who have already added a supercharger system. The benefits for them are the biggest, since they can enhance the power output of their BMW to 630 hp.

The additional power is delivered via new software for the electronic engine control. As a matter of fact, the tuners developed it from the beginning and created an entirely new set of maps for the fuelling, ignition, variable-valve-timing and boost control. Due to the new configurations they also had to mind the fuel efficiency and emissions.

The complete development process for the software took about one year to be completed. But this did not include only in-house testing, but also many kilometers on the racetrack in real driving.

The result is a powerful and dynamic engine, which puts emphasis on supreme performance. Precisely, we must take into account that the standard M3 produces only 420 horsepower (309 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. The G-Power conversion system makes the 630 horses (463 kW) and the 590 Nm of torque a reality, as well as the spectacular 4.0 seconds 0-100 km/h sprint. The top speed is up to 330 km/h.

The new 20 hp can not go without new alloys. More power just needs new wheels to run on. In this case, the BMW is fitted with Diamond-Cut double spoke Hurricane RR forged alloys that are 20 inches of size. They are shod with 245/30ZR20 and 295/25ZR20 Michelins at the front and rear, respectively.

Every BMW fan would agree that if there is so much horsepower, there should be appropriate ride height modifications. The case here is no different and we have received an M3 which is 30 mm lower to the ground. The ceramic brake system is responsible for the stopping power of the car. It has 396 mm vented discs with six-pot calipers on the front axle, and 380 mm vented discs with four-pot calipers brake at the rear. Good job guys!

  • This is Carlex Design BMW M3 the Black Spinell!

Carlex Design could be understood as a signifier for some of the finest interiors ever made. Cars which have gone under the hands of the Carlex experts arrive with fancy, elegant and stylish looks which can outshine any other in market. The most recent project of the tuner is a BMW M3 model which is called the Black Spinell.

The choice of name is rather intriguing because the black spinel, in particular, represents a gemstone and is one of the rarest spinels in the world. An interesting fact is that gemstones of this type adorn the crown of the Queen of England. So why the name then? A simple answer would be that Carlex Design have tried to craft out something unique, something rare, something that will turn the BMW M3 into an automotive jewel which everyone would like the own.

Initially, the white color on the outside and black interior were found by the owner “rather dull, lacking dynamics and rebellious feel to it.” Looking for a more sophisticated appeal, he obviously went to the right people for this job.

Carlex Design BMW M3 Black Spinell then received an ink-black interior made from a range of different materials. There is “Bentley nappa” leather which is accompanied by “braided” cowhide leather. In order to create more masculine and mature-looking environment, the skillful experts used carbon optic leather and schwartz (black again) Alcantara. In their attempts to top everything off, the guys from Carlex Design crafted out a steering wheel made of a healthy dose of carbon fiber, Alcantara and Nubuck leather.

With such dark powers, the redesigned BMW M3 becomes a real catch, don’t you think?
