Audi e-tron and Q3 SUVs receive prestigious recognition!

2019 Audi Q3 Audi e-tron midsize SUV, the first fully-electric Audi vehicle, along with its Q3 compact-premium SUV sibling earned ALG Residual Value awards for 2020. ALG’s Residual Value Awards recognize vehicles in 27 segments that are forecasted to retain a high price after a three-year period. The e-tron has managed to earn the designation for the electric category, while Q3 has won the Premium Subcompact Utility segment.

For more than 50 years, ALG has used its market insights, industry expertise ad leading analytics in order to become one of the most prominent brand in the segment. Back in 2000, ALG has managed to launch its first program that recognizes the automotive brands and products that provide the best-in-class value to consumers.

Audi e-tron and Q3 were selected through an analysis of used vehicle performance, brand outlook and product competitiveness. In order to qualify for the recognition, a manufacturer should make entries in at least four different segments. In order to account for differences across trim levels, model averages are weighted based on percentage share relative to the entire model lineup.

Additionally, Audi will be among the winning automakers honored during the Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 20, 2019, in Los Angeles.

Audi team announces first details about the upcoming RS 6 Avant!

2020 Audi RS 6 Avant The new Audi RS 6 Avant makes its US debut on Sunday, November 10^th in Malibu, California, at the bi-weekly Cars & Coffee event. Featuring top performance rates, refined Quattro all-wheel drive and sexy design, the new family member will finally become a reality in the US.

The vehicle itself comes with visceral design, and exhilarating dynamics: the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 power unit is capable of generating a total of 600hp (441kW) and 800Nm of torque. There’s also a standard eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox with sport program and launch control function. It transmits the power the wheels with a dedicated sport differential.

Additionally, the RS 6 Avant features a new design language. There’s a new three-dimensional RS-specific honeycomb structure within the revised Singleframe grille in glossy black finish, all along with flat D-pillars and long and straight roofline. The rear-end of the machine consists of a roof-edge spoiler and RS-specific bumper with rear diffuser and design components also in glossy black finish. Sweet!

In terms of interior, the RS 6 Avant includes neat accents and driver-focused technologies. There’s new MMI touch response system with black-panel design and an entire new interior architecture and user interface.

The highly anticipated vehicle will arrive in the US in 2020 and will be available for customer orders after a later announcement. Additional performance specs will also be revealed closer to market introduction.

Audi reveals new 2020 A6 allroad machine! Check it out!

2020 Audi A6 Allroad Following the success and fanfare of previous models, new Audi A6 confidently makes its debut and proudly showcases a fine-tuned adaptive suspension system, revised 3.0-liter V6 TFSI engine and tons of advanced technologies. Especially designed for long-distance adventures and enhanced interior comfort, the latest family member surely has a lot to demonstrate. Let’s find out!

Exterior and interior design

An instantly recognizable Audi vehicle, the new A6 lineup is geared with Scandium gray matte wheel arches and panels, a wide allroad-specific grille with chrome vertical slats and 20-inch exclusive wheels. There’s also alu-optic finish on the roof rails, front blade and underbody protection, and the allroad-specific diffuser in the rear in order to complement the Avant design cues of the sexy machine.

The inside of the new A6 ensures a pretty premium experience with extensive infotainment range and driver assistance systems. There’s panoramic sunroof, ambient LED interior lightning package and premium Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system.

Drivetrain system

2020 Audi A6’s drivetrain system is characterized by an exclusively fine-tuned adaptive air suspension with controlled damping, which allows the vehicle to switch between on- and off-road driving models. This also means that the ride height can be adjusted, depending on the road surface and condition.

There are also additional standard comfort features that include standard hill descent control, tilt angle assist and dynamic all-wheel steering.

The new A6 model is geared is a turbocharged 3.0-liter TFSI power unit and Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology, which ensures 335hp and 369lb-ft of torque. The allroad also uses a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a standard Quattro system with Ultra technology.

The already available Anniversary Edition, Audi has ensured an exclusive Gavial Green color and Sarder brown Valcona leather with fine Nappa accents. This special green color pays homage to the Highland Green finish that the original A6 allroad model debuted back in 2000. The Anniversary Edition also includes Fine Grain Ash Natural Noble Wood inlays, pedals and footrest in stainless steel, a leather seat base and leather airbag cab with contrast stitching.

Audi presents plans for a greener and more efficient future

2019 Audi Q4 e-tron Audi and VW Group are one of the first manufacturers to commit to the Paris Climate Agreement. The Audi brand has set itself the ambitious goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 30 percent by 2025 – compared to the reference of 2015. In the long term, Audi pursues the vision of CO2-neutral mobility and aims towards climate-neutral portfolio until 2050.

Furthermore, the brand focuses its potential and energy towards the electric car segment, which has the best carbon footprint of all drive systems. The first step was done with the Audi e-tron lineup, which has been available since March this year. Additionally, Audi is ready to present a new Q4 e-tron lineup, based on the Q4 e-tron concept, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

Since the end of 2018, the company has been conducting numerous CO2 workshops alongside with its partners in order to find and execute some effective measures, concerning reducing the carbon footprint that Audi leaves behind. The brand with four rings also focuses on the manufacturing process of its products. In the future, the brand intends to create some CO2-neutral basis on balance in order to achieve the 2025 goal. In fact, the Brussels plant is playing a key role in the project. It has been CO2 neutral since the start of the production of the Audi e-tron in 2018. The biggest levers are the changeover to green electricity and the supply of heat from renewable energy sources.

Additionally, the next step will be the conversion of the vehicle and engine plant int the Hungarian town of Győr. This year, the largest European solar-roof system with a peak output of 12 megawatts will be created on the roofs of Audi Hungaria’s two logistic centers, covering an area of 160,000 square meters. The generation of renewable energy starts in 2020 with the solar-energy park production of more than 9.5 gigawatt-hours of energy annually. This is the equivalent to the energy for 5,000 households!

Audi announces details about new RS 6 Avant model

2019 Audi RS 6 Avant Audi of America announced details about the upcoming RS 6 Avant. Representing a new chapter in the Audi Sport segment, the new family member offers visceral design, exhilarating driving dynamics and neat tweaks and gadgets. Let’s check out more, shall we?

Exterior design

The design of the new RS 6 Avant is made solely of RS-exclusive parts. The body, which is wider than the predecessor features broad flared wheel arches, while the three-dimensional RS-specific honeycomb is finished with glossy black.

The characteristics of the Avant feature elongated front section, straight and long roofline, and flat D pillars. The fenders are dramatically flared, while the rear of the vehicle consists of roof edge and RS-specific bumper with rear diffuser and components in glossy black. And, of course, in pure RS style, the exhaust system flows on both sides into oval chrome-colored tailpipes.

Interior design

The new family member comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 power unit and delivers a total of 600hp and 800Nm of torque. This massive output ensures a rather fast sprint and 0-100km/h run in a mere 3.6-seconds. The top speed is 250km/h.

What makes this configuration special is the standard eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox and the new launch control function, which transmits the massive engine power output to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive.

Badassery overload: LUMMA Design upgrades a lucky Audi Q8!

2019 LUMMA Design Audi Q8 About a year ago, Q8 has proven that Audi still deserves to be on the leaderboard position in the world of automobiles. Although the market has been previously dominated by different machines and models in the segment, new Q8 has proven worthy in any way possible.

However, LUMMA Design team, based in Winterlingen in Swabia, decided to take a closer look at the premium SUV and make some tweaks here and there. The result is simply amazing – with the exclusive aerodynamic package the lucky machine now showcases the best of the two worlds – the stock high quality of Audi and the exclusive and dedicated goodies from a world-renowned tuner.

LUMMA CLR 8S features a notable exterior design work, which includes new front and rear axles, front spoiler extension and engine hood attachment. There are also exclusive side rocker panels and a new bumper apron with new diffuser at the rear, which neatly fits vehicle’s muscular and aggressive expression.

Audi reveals details about new 2019 Q7

2019 Audi Q7 Audi Q7 makes its debut and makes a big technological leap forward by presenting us tons of engineering solutions and technologies. Exterior

New Q7 comes with a choice between two diesel engines that are already available for purchase. These will be followed by a petrol model and a plug-in hybrid system that will join the lineup in the near future.

What catches the eye is this upcoming hybrid unit. It is expected to reduce consumption to up to 0.7 liter per 100km/h. Its central component, the belt alternator starter powers a 48-volt main electric system in which the lithium-ion battery stores the gathered energy. During brakes, the system can recover up to 8kW of power and feed it into the battery. This means that the whole vehicle can feed off renewable energy for a rather long period of time.

Furthermore, Audi has enhanced the dynamic character of new Q7 by incorporating an agile an advanced all-wheel-steering as standard. It also benefits from adaptive air suspension and selectable driving modes. Sweet!

JMS team tweaks a lucku Audi A6. Check it out!

2019 JMS Audi A6 The current generation of Audi A6, the C8 series, came to the market a year ago and since then it remains one of the most advanced and popular machines in its class. However, engineers at JMS Fahrzeugteile have proven one more time that even the most advanced machines can udergo a notable upgrade procedure.

The upgrade includes an exclusive line spoiler lip, fitted beneath the front spoiler. Especially created to be used with this particular Audi model, the wing is fitted beneath the front spoiler and contributes to this sexy and aggressive appearance. Of course, it does contribute to the overall aerodynamic and stability features of the vehicle – more confident cornering and high-speed handling is guaranteed!

And in order to complete the overall sexy appearance, JMS team has included a set of Tzunamee EVO wheels. These are 9×20-inch rims with dark gunmetal brushed finish and are accompanied by a fine-tuned KW Variant 3 coilover suspension system.

It is definitely a cool thing to see how a tuning studio precisely knows how to make an outstanding machine even more appealing. What is cool about this project is that it simply builds upon the strong original foundation and doesn’t change what is already achieved – the Audi machine is super sexy by itself and it would be a waste to modify it in such a way that it no longer features these notable and expresJMsive lines and curves.

2020 RS features a naturally aspirated V10 engine, Quattro AWD system and a functional and technologically advanced cabin controls. New for the model is the carbon-fiber front sway bar and the fine-tuned seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox. In fact, this transmission system ensures even faster gearshifts, compared to predecessor models and contributes to the super-quick 0-100km/h sprint in mere 3.4 seconds!

However, the true star of the show is the new Decennium engine. Generating a total of 602hp and 413lb-ft of torque, this naturally aspirated 5.2 FSI power unit is the most powerful system ever equipped in an R8 model.
