Almost as a Batmobile: check Inden Design’s Mercedes-AMG interpretation!

2017 Inden Design Mercedes-AMG SLS - Front Angle We haven’t published much about Inden Design. So, in order to fix our mistake, we will tell you about team’s latest tuning project. Тhis is a pretty special one – not only it showcases numerous unique features, but also fulfills the dream of Joe Inden himself – the mastermind behind Inden Design.

And here it is: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG machine that now proudly takes its place among its sibling in the Black Series. As one might have expected, the vehicle has undergone some comprehensive tuning and upgrade program. First of all, the whole body was dismantled. This means that numerous Mercedes-AMG original parts were taken down, reshaped, coated and reassembled. These include the front and rear apron, hood, and fenders.

Furthermore, some of the side components were further tailored to match the overall bodywork concept and of course, to contribute to the sporty spirit of the vehicle. Overall, the design of this machine resembles all these well-known and beloved Mercedes-AMG features: neat curves, elegant lines, expressive front face, tight and sporty rear and overall confident and masculine stance. The magic of Inden Design work is hidden in the small details. All of these components add to the original appearance of the vehicle and do not try to change the nature of the vehicle. Definitely a precise and dedicated work, isn’t it?

But even these modifications were not that refined to satisfy the taste of Mr. Inden himself. And this is why he ordered some more goodies to be installed: laminated drivetrain parts, exclusive KW suspension coil springs and stainless steel exhaust. And the best of all? Kickass wheels. These are exclusive BBS-F1 with special dimensions: 10,0Jx20 with 265/30R20 on the front axle and 12,5Jx21 with 325/25R21 on the rear axle. Cool!

The only thing I personally do not like about the styling concept is the one-tone black body finish. Designers could have used some lighter patterns in order to make these sexy details stand out. However, Sexy is still sexy. Even in black coating.

And the best news is that there are even more upgrades done onto the drivetrain system. More precisely, on the power unit: the refined Mercedes-AMG now produces a total of 635hp (467kW). A neat upgrade from the original 571hp (420kW). Sweet.

Getting even better: DTE Systems team takes a closer look at a Mercedes-AMG G-Class monster!

2017 DTE Systems Mercedes-AMG G-Class 500 As it seems, the G-Class marks a new rise: Mercedes-Benz team claims that the last year was the most successful for the whole series. There were more units sold than the historical 1979 – the year that production of the masculine machine was unleashed.

And with this massively risen popularity, tuners and engineering enthusiasts decided to take a closer look at the latest G-Class releases. One such tuner is DTE Systems. As you might know, these are the specialists that have earned critic’s and audience’s applauses for their numerous bold and high-quality tuning projects. And as many other people, we are eager to know what this latest project has to demonstrate! So, let’s waste no more time and take a look at this lucky G-Class vehicle.

The notable features

2017 DTE Systems Mercedes-AMG G-Class 500

This is a G 500 unit that features a powerful V8 power unit with a total of 422hp (314kW) and 610Nm of torque. There are also some upgrades and fine tunings personally made by AMG crew. However, after DTE Systems have tweaked and changed some things here and there, now the G-Class monster provides additional 70hp and 98Nm, thanks to the added PowerControl chip tuning box. Also, DTE team has made it possible for the vehicle to accelerate from 100-200km/h by 1 second quicker. Neat! In fact, this bad boy is a fast sprinter: the 0-100km/h (62mph) run ends in mere 6 seconds!

All this is due to the installment of a PedalBox system: this thing contributes to quicker throttle response and more linear acceleration. Also, there are installed numerous smaller units and components that altogether do make a difference! We also like the electric light-green body finish. Neat!

Wimmer Takes a Closer Look at a Mercedes-AMG Machine: The Result is Simply Imressive

2017 Wimmer Mercedes-Benz C 63 Wimmer. It almost sounds as a Winner. And behaves like one! Wimmer Rennsporttechnik in Solingen has proven itself as one of the best and most comprehensive tuners for the past 25 years. And even after a quarter of decade of dominating, the team does not stop impressing the audience: whether clients want a complex compressor upgrade, comprehensive exhaust system or chip tuning, Wimmer will have the job done.

And now the crew proudly showcases it’s latest project: a fine-tuned and optimized Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG S. This machine has undergone some comprehensive revision procedure and numerous alterations. Let’s start with the drivetrain system, shall we? The original Mercedes-AMG system delivers a total of 510hp (375kW) and 700Nm, which was simply considered as simply not enough. Now, the revised drivetrain system is capable of delivering a total of 801hp (589kW) and the massive 900Nm of torque. Impressive, isn’t it?

Further improvements include revised turbo charger, nozzles and fuel pump. There was a new water pomp installed and an exclusive stainless steel exhaust system. Of course, muscular system as this one is nothing without some stability and handling upgrades. Drivers will benefit from a revised KW coilover suspension version 3, wheel-tire-combination of BBS rims in 9×20 with 245/30-20 tires on the front axle and 10×20 with 265/20-30 on the rear axle and a Y-pipe with sporty catalystic features. Neat.

Of course, there are also some neat stylish changes: the vehicle showcases a neat green finish, with a large WIMMER banner on both sides. Also notable is the black/green race flag that adds a kick to that overall sporty appearance of the vehicle.

At the end, we do like this project. The thing that we loved the most is that Wimmer team did not hide these classic and notable Mercedes-AMG features. It only made them more expressive and decided to contribute with its own signature in such a delicate way that it is almost impossible to say that this particular Mercedes-AMG vehicle is complete without the Wimmer touch.

Elegant, Clean and Menacing Machine: this is what CHROMETEC Team has Brought Us!

2017 CHROMETEC Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe There is one special tuning studio in Kleinrinderfeld near Würzburg that is famous for two things: incredible hi-end tuning projects and meticulous precision and attention to detail. Indeed, we are talking about CHROMETEC. As you might know, these guys are also famous for their Mercedes-Benz tuning programs. And here they are presenting their latest project: their own depiction of a Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe model.

As you will see from the official photos, this revised machine impresses with style and simplicity. We see clean exterior lines, colors and super elegant additions that contribute to the overall stealthy and menacing stance. The vehicle benefits from numerous exclusive parts and systems. For example, the grille screen that is created from carbon-fiber, the front spoiler lip Edition1, and these new sexy spoiler flaps. In fact, we are impressed by the carbon-finish side mirrors. It’s not that we haven’t already seen such idea, but what caught our eye is how well this styling fits the overall expression of the vehicle.

The rear-end has also deserved some special attention: there are exclusive carbon-fiber diffuser, spoiler lip and neat glossy black detailings. Sweet. Furthermore, the C 63 AMG rear lip is also reshaped and resembles more the styling concept of CHROMETEC, instead of the conventional AMG ideology.

And all this is topped by a neat tire-wheel combination. The exclusive Concave 20-inch wheels not only impress with style, but also contribute to more stable and confident road behavior. These are accompanied by exclusive height-adjustable coilover suspension system. And the power unit? Well, the engine has also undergone some comprehensive revisions and tweaks and now produces a total of 612hp (450kW), due to the addition of a high-performance tuning module. Sweet.

Power and precision in blue: this is one lucky Mercedes-AMG vehicle!

2017 Best-Cars-and-Bikes Mercedes-AMG C 63 There is a crew in Viersen at the Lower Rhine that is famous for its exclusive and high-quality automobile tuning and upgrades. Its name is Best-Cars-and-Bikes and what these people do is simply outstanding. Having been famous for a long time now, the team strikes one more time with a rather neat project.

This time the lucky vehicle is a Mercedes-AMG C 63 machine that benefits from tons of drivetrain system upgrades. First of all, an exclusive power unit revision has been done that results on boosting the total output with additional 80Nm of torque and 94hp for a total of 580hp (426kW). Neat, isn’t it?

We will be honest here: there are numerous drivetrain upgrades done, but what we liked the most are the wheels and tires combination. Some things never change. These include our passion for neatly-looking wheels. This fine vehicle proudly showcases sweet three-piece rotation forged rims, crafted by Volker SCHMIDT, wrapped by Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in 245/30-20 on the front axle and 285/25-20 on the rear axle. AMG team celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special concept vehicle!

2017 Mercedes-AMG GT Concept As a part of the 50th anniversary Mercedes-AMG celebrations, the well-known premium tuner presents something special: a neatly done Mercedes-AMG GT Concept machine. Needless to say, this thing incorporates all the experience and passion that has been gathered throughout these five decades.

This four-door sports vehicle is designed to meet the needs of everyday life, but at the same time it will also meet the requirements and needs of all these who seek some adrenaline rush. So, let’s check out what this beauty has to show!

Of course, we do see a 100% Mercedes-Benz vehicle and at the same time an 100% AMG monster. The design stands out with super massive proportions, confident stance and super elegant lines and curves. In fact, even watching this machine is super satisfactory. And there is a fine reason behind this.

Let’s start with the front-end. The Panamericana grille, along with the slim headlamps draw the main lines of the mean-looking face. It is further characterized by a massive bonnet and of course, by the super passionate red paint finish.

At the rear, the design team has kept the design super simple, but it is yet super effective and makes this neat visual impact. The back-end features the same style of ultra-thin lamps, all along with modest lines and details. However, the one-pipe exhaust, mounted at the middle is the main feature that enhances the sporty and elegant appearance of the car. Neat!

The sides of the special Mercedes-AMG vehicles share this very same concept idea of dramatic impact via simplicity. All you see is a thin line and empty space filled with that superior red paint. And it is enhanced by exclusive and super stylish large wheels. In other words, it is beautiful!

Based on its experience that was gathered for half a century, AMG GT Concept proudly demonstrates a powerful system that combines the output of a massive 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine and an electric machine that is tuned to deliver immediate response and super-agile reaction in harmony with driver’s mood and intention.

G-POWER reveals a super-sexy Mercedes-AMG tweaked machine! Check it out!

2016 G-POWER Mercedes-AMG GTS Tuning magicians at G-POWER have gained knowledge and experience for more than 35 years and now they feel ready to add some kick to the already super-hot AMG GT machine. We all know that there are some incredibly powerful vehicles. And we also know that there are some incredibly ambitious people that push the boundaries even further. And here it is: the latest G-POWER creation!

Basically, the vehicle features all the neat stuff that are capable of making it a soft of a king of the racetrack. These include massive 610hp (448kW) and 755Nm output, 21-inch exclusive HURRICANE RR forged alloys, external power module Bi-Tronik and more. Sounds good, does not it?

But let’s get more into details, shall we? One of the most notable features in this project is the G-POWER Bi-Tronik 5 power module. Its purpose is to raise the overall power output of the vehicle and in the same way to deliver some more agility in corners. Gipsy King by Vilner: brand’s latest styling project is here!

2016 Vilner Mercedes-AMG S 63 Gipsy King Art Studio Vilner presents its latest creation: The Gipsy King. The super exclusive project that takes the S-Class even further in luxury and refinement. And it definitely catches the eye. Both with refinement and quality. So, let’s see what Vilner clients want to drive, shall we?

First of all, the fine gentleman and Vilner client has chosen a rather powerful base model: a 585hp S-Class with all that Mercedes-Benz has to offer as additional equipment. However, even this is not enough for him and there is just one thing to do: as Vilner engineers and designers for some help with tuning and improvements.

And as always, our friends and master of luxury has done what must be done: a masterpiece. There is fine black leather and Alcantara wrapping, white and contrasting stitching, Alcantara dominated central console are just some of the refinements in the cabin.

Further improvements include Alcantara and Nappa covers for the steering wheel, top and even the back of the rearview mirror. How cool is that? Other super-stylish improvements include black-covered metal buttons, black piano finish for the wooden components in the cabin. In fact, the idea of the customer was to create a small kingdom of black and leather. And as we see, the design team has done the job perfectly. As always.

In fact, pretty normal for Vilner, the drivetrain system remains untouched and with the same settings as it left the Mercedes-Benz building plant. The original vehicle is a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG that delivers a total of 585hp (436kW) and 900Nm of torque. This engine system is paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

A Mercedes sedan touched by AMG: brutally powerful and sexy

2016 Mercede-AMG E 63 4MATIC+ And here it is: the latest AMG project is brought to life. Yes, we are talking about the fresh Mercedes-AMG E 63 4MATIC+ and the E 63 S 4MATIC+ babes. Aren’t they sweet? Along with the super-mega-titanic power output and the exceptional Mercedes-Benz and AMG quality that we are all aware of, these two vehicles will try to be different in a particular way.

Of course, one of the many ways of maintaining interesting is refreshment of the exterior styling. Definitely appealing and sexy, these two bad boys feature sporty front face with distinctive A-pillar and for the first time AMG team gears a Mercedes-Benz saloon vehicle with a bonnet that is inset between the wings and bumper, just like a coupe model. Another way of expressing sexiness is by adding wide front apron, inspired by the design of a jet wing and a large front splitter.

The sides catch the eye with numerous elemets. However, one super distinctive is the arrow-shaped wing signet, covered in silver chrome. Also, the side sill panels make the vehicle look even lower than it actually is and contribute to the aggressive and sporty appearance. And all this is topped with exclusive 10-spoke light-alloy wheels in titanium grey with high-sheen finish. Sweet.

And last, but not least, the rear showcases muscles and confidence, expressed by the defined spoiler lip in body color, rear apron with diffuser-look inser and two chrome-plated twin tailpipes. S 63 S 4MATIC+ also features a trim strip on the rear apron.

The muscular rear end provides the finishing touch in conjunction with the clearly defined spoiler lip in the colour of the vehicle on the boot lid, the rear apron with diffuser-look insert, and the two bright chrome-plated twin tailpipe trim elements on the selectable sports exhaust system. The E 63 S 4MATIC+ also features a trim strip in silver chrome on the rear apron.

And what about the interior styling?

As you might have expected, the cabin is super elegant, comfortably-looing and functional. Featuring exclusive AMG performance steering wheel and nappa leather, the interior definitely makes that critical difference, compared to other premium brands and models.

Driver and front passenger will be pleased to know that they will be sitting in sporty seats, while additional highlights include nappa leather, AMG crest, crytal grey seat piping, IWC-designed analogue clock and special seat belts also in crystal grey. Not bad. However, there are far more interesting features about these bad boys. Stick with us!

Drivetrain system

Long story short: 4.0-liter twin turbo V8, mated to a MCT 9-speed sports gearbox. But let’s see the long story, shall we? Along with the extremely high power output, measured at 612hp (450kW) and 850Nm of torque, the powertrain has some more neat tricks. For example, the cylinder deactivation system and two twin-scroll turbochargers, applied for the first time in Mercedes-AMG vehicle.

The gearbox is also worth mentioning. This is a super-fast and exclusively fine-tuned system, especially developed for th E 63 4MATIC+ and the E 63 S 4MATIC+. It comes with special software that allows super short shift times and super fast multiple downshifts. Furthermore, it also comes with a wet start-off clutch that replaces the torque converter. In this way AMG engineers reduce the overall weigth of the vehicle and optimize the acceleration responsiveness. Cool.

Other notable drivetrain features include variabl all-wheel drive system, AMG Dynamic Select driving modes, fine-tuned suspension, four-link front axle design, independent wheel control, AMG-specific rear axle carrier and numerous more.

And by far the most important information: the two vehicles will be officially on sale on 16 January 2017.

Mercedes-AMG and the three GT3 race-ready beauties

2017 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Racecars For 2017 race season, Mercedes-AMG team will be racing in the most important and prestigious North-American race series for the first time. The chosen vehicle? GT3. The championships? IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Riley Motorsports and other.

So far the Mercede-AMG racing team has decided that one of the competing vehicle will run as “AMG-Team Riley Motorsports” and the other as WeatherTech Racing with sponsorship from series’ main sponsor. Sweet, isn’t it? Also, with SunEnergy1 Racing, one more custom vehicle from Affalterbach is already confirmed.

It appears as Mercedes-AMG prepares confidently for the next milestone and passionately continues development of the Customer Sports Programme. And with the entering of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the IMSA championship the team shows its determination for achieving victory, or at least honorable performance. As you might know, so far the manufacturer was presented with the SLS AMG GT3 that did good, but apparently, there is still to be wanted.

And this is why for this upcoming presence in IMSA, Mercedes-Benz works together with Riley Motorsports. This means that there will be a car that would be especially represented by the team’s patronage of the series’ sponsor. Also, there are plans that include a Mercedes-AMG GT3 machine to take place in the GTD class.
