Bugatti has announced a special edition Grand Sport Vitesse designed to celebrate a concert by world renowned pianist Lang Lang in Molsheim, France.The Grand Sport Vitesse Lang Lang Special Edition is inspired by a concert grand piano and the Type 57 Atalante. The one-off model boasts black-tinted carbon fiber and Blanc Atalante paint finish.The interior also feature two-tone styling. There are white leather door panels with black contrast stitching. There are also piano black trim elements and gold-plated accents on the steering wheel.Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse is powered by an 8.0 liter W16 quad-turbo engin – 1200HP (883 kW) and 1500Nm (1106 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 7.1 seconds, 0-300 km/h in 16 seconds dead. The top speed is 410 km/h (254 mph). ¼ mile is covered in 10.0 seconds flat and 1 mile in just 25.0 seconds. Other interesting disciplines like 0-100-0 km/h take 5.9 seconds and 0-200-0 take 12.9 seconds. The interesting 0-300-0, which is brutal for the brakes take 23.9 seconds.

2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid Goes On Sale

2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid was unveiled in March this year during the New York International Auto Show. Now Subaru is announcing that the vehicle will go on sale and will be available in dealerships by the end of 2013. The Hybrid is based on the successful XV Crosstrek crossover model and keeps its all-terrain capabilities, but delivers better fuel economy ena enhanced driving dynamics.

The starting price of this model begins at $25 995. It will offer to its customers a roomy, versatile, fun-to-drive experience thanks to its refined chassis and comfort. All XV Crosstrek Hybrids are going to be equipped with the 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder BOXER engine and will feature brand’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. In addition, the models will also sport a 13.4 hp/48 lb. –ft. electric drive motor integrated into the Lineartronic continuously variable transmission.

2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is based on the gas model, but also offer improved handling. It utilizes the same Active Torque Split version of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, which sends torque to the four wheels all the time and adjusts the torque distribution in response to acceleration, cornering and road conditions.

The ground clearance of the Hybrid is 8.7-inch and the 4-wheel independent suspension of other XV Crosstrek models and adds special chassis tuning for more agile handling. Furthermore, the cargo area includes a removable cover and waterproof cargo tray, tie-down hooks and grocery bag hooks.

Many versatile design features are also include here. For instance, there are included rear light clusters and the stop lamps with LED technology, high-grade color multi-function, 4.3-inch LCD screen, which combines driving operation information, entertainment content and a standard rear camera.

A highlight here is the navigation system that utilizes a 6.1-inch touch screen LCD display and voice control, iTunes tagging, SMS text messaging capability, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, SiriusXM NavTraffic and Aha Infotainment smartphone integration.

2014 Hyundai Tucson Gets Refreshed

2014 Hyundai Tucson is now even more stylish and functional, and now it is equipped with performance-enhancing technology and advanced 2.0-liter Nu and 2.4-liter Theta II Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine.

To be more precise, the GDI engines are complemented with SACHS Amplitude Selective Damping (ASD) for optimum ride, handling and driving comfort. In the MY2014 are also featured many optional refinements such as Hyundai’s Blue Link safety, service and infotainment telematics system, two-stage reclining rear seats and third-generation navigation with a larger seven-inch touchscreen display and HD Radio technology.

To go even further into details, the improvements here, next to the new engines, include the following: available AWD, Standard Blue Link and Hyundai Assurance Connected Care, third generation navigation with larger seven-inch touchscreen and HD Radio technology, Standard Bluetooth hands-free phone system, 4.3-inch color LCD touchscreen audio with rearview camera.

The exterior enhancements include new projector headlights with LED accents, LED taillights, Shark-fin antenna on Limited trim, roof side rails with panoramic sunroof, standard 17-inch or optionally available 18-inch alloy wheels.

Throughout the interior are also present many new additions: two-stage reclining 60/40 split rear seats, standard tilt and telescopic steering wheel, floor console mounted rear vents, standard-steering-wheel mounted audio and cruise controls, cupholder illumination, new interior colors -beige and brown.

The engine the vehicle is equipped is the 2.0-liter Nu GDI engine which generates 164 horsepower (120 kW) at 6,200 rpm and 205 Nm (151 lb.-ft.) of torque at 4,000 rpm. The Nu four-cylinder engine with GDI delivers a good balance between performance and fuel economy. For the first time, the entry level 2014 Tucson GLS with the 2.0-liter Nu engine will be available with AWD.

If one looks for more horsepower, then there is available the 2.4-liter Theta II GDI unit, which has the ability to tow up to 2,000 pounds. It is capable of generating 182 horsepower (134 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft.) of torque, and can deliver an estimated fuel economy of 24 mpg combined.

Regardless the engine, all Tucson models use a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® manual control. In addition, 2014 Tucson’s athletic shape is complemented with agile handling – it utilizes MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension systems for more precise wheel control and a smoother ride.

On the other hand, the DBC switch, the Hydro-Electronic Control unit manages the wheel speed sensors, steering angle sensor and acceleration sensor in order to operate the control and speed on steep declines without having to use the brake.

2014 Hyundai Tucson will be available at dealerships in the autumn of 2013.

2014 Skoda Rapid Spaceback – Price £14,340

Skoda has announced the pricing of the all-new 2014 Rapid Spaceback. The affordable car will be available in showrooms in January, next year. The pricing starts from £14,340 for the S model with 1.2 TSI 86HP and goes up to £18,900 for the Elegance powered by a 1.6 liter TDI CR 90HP equipped with DSG gearbox.

The new Rapid Spaceback introduces a dynamic new dimension to the ŠKODA range. The second model in the Rapid range sets sector standards for interior space and offers exceptional practicality thanks to its 415-litre boot.

Specification levels across the range are generous, with all three Spaceback models fitted with additional equipment over the Rapid. AC is standard across the line-up, along with curtain airbags, front electric windows and a height and reach adjustable steering column. SE models feature alloy wheels, acoustic rear parking sensors, cruise control and a Bluetooth telephone connection, while Elegance models add, among other items, climate control, height-adjustable passenger seat and cornering front fog lights.

Peugeot has announced the full details and pricing for the new MY2014 308 model, which is now available to order. 2014 Peugeot 308 boasts a stylish design, impressive driving experience, class-leading efficiency and built to high-standards with high-quality materials, but does so in ways that also enhance the delights of ownership and the stress-free driving experience.

There are four trim levels: Access, Active, Allure and Feline, each one with compelling features and competitively priced.

Brabus B63S Mercedes-Benz G-Class 6×6

Brabus has exhibited their B63S Mercedes-Benz G-Class 6×6 at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The special 6-wheel SUV boasts incredible performance and unique off-road capabilities.

The exterior features a complete aerodynamics package including a new front spoiler, a carbon fiber hood scoop and carbon fiber wheel arches. There are also tinted xenon headlights, underbody protection and LED daytime running lights.

The interior boasts premium leather upholstery, Alcantara trim and a bespoke headliner. Other highlights include illuminated sill plates and alloy pedals.

The 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 is boosted to 700HP (515 kW) and 960Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 156HP and 200Nm. 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph) – electronically limited.

2014 Subaru Outback 2.0D SX Lineartronic

2014 Subaru Outback comes with enhanced handling characteristics, revised suspension components and the latest incarnation of Subaru’s Vehicle Dynamics Control. The model also features a revised design for both the interior and exterior.

The most significant change is the new powertrain pairing. A world first, Subaru engineers have combined the popular 2.0-litre Boxer diesel engine with a Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) – bringing improvements in driveability, fuel economy and emissions while also widening the car’s appeal immensely.

The 2014 MY Subaru Outback 2.0D Lineartronic variant will feature a new trim level, the SX. High levels of standard equipment are featured inside and out.

The exterior comes with new 17” gunmetal alloy wheels, along with body-coloured bumpers, body-coloured power folding door mirrors (with integrated LED indicator repeaters), and matching colour-coded door handles. Silver roof rails and a roof spoiler are other exterior accents, while a power-sliding glass sunroof (with sunshade) and UV protected front, side and rear glass also feature. Self-levelling automatic HID headlamps and rain sensing wipers add convenience for the driver.

2014 Toyota Land Cruiser – Price £34,995

Toyota has introduced the all-new 2014 Land Cruiser expected to hit the market on 1^st December. The model benefits from a refreshed exterior design, improvements to the interior, new entertainment features and advanced off-road technologies. The entry-level model is priced from £34,995, while the top-of-range Invincible 3.0D A/T 7-seat costs £52,495.

There are three trim levels: Active, Icon and Invincible. The SUV benefits from significant enhanced specification on Icon and Invincible grades, while retaining the pricing levels of the corresponding outgoing grades.

There are also different packages, which can be ordered to improve safety, off-road capabilities or interior.

Safety Pack

In addition to the comprehensive range of safety features available as standard on 2014 Land Cruiser, customers can specify an additional safety pack. This includes adaptive cruise control with pre-crash system, designed to minimise the chances of injury in the event of a collision. This pack is priced at £1,360.

Off-road Pack

The Icon grade can be specified with all the off-road driver assistance technology available as standard on Invincible grade. This pack is priced from £1,650.

Two-tone leather

CDC Performance Range Rover Sport [video]

CDC Performance has announced their latest project based on the first generation Range Rover Sport. The name of the project is Nighthawk and it includes both styling and performance upgrades.

The exterior has a wide body kit including new front and rear bumpers, a pair of extended side skirts as well as widened wheel arches. There is also a set of 23” alloy wheels fitted with ultra-low profile 315/25 R23 tires. For improved stance, the big SUV is fitted with an electronic module for the air suspension, which can reduce the ride height by 70 mm.

Other upgrades include a dual sports exhaust system, new brakes with 6-piston calipers (front and rear).

The interior boasts Alcantara and leather surfaces, a lot of carbon fiber elements and new steering wheel.

The 5.0 liter supercharged V8 is boosted to 580HP (426 kW) and 695Nm (512 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 70HP and 70Nm.

Prior Design Gives Porsche Panamera New Aerodynamic-Kit

Porsche is one of the most luxurious brands in the automotive industry nowadays. It produces nothing but exclusive and stunning new vehicles among which is the new Panamera. The car entered production in 2010, and ever since it has achieved a high status among the customers.

To add even more excellence to the Panamera model, the tuners at Prior Design have developed a special aerodynamic kit, called PRIOR600. Originally the car is powered by a 4.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine which is capable of delivering 520 hp (388 kW) at 6,000RPM and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque at 2,250 RPM.

Now changes to the engine have been made, but the exterior has undergone some significant transformations. All parts used in the kit are made from Dura-Flex Fiber Reinforced Plastic, which is characterized by an excellent surface finish which provides sufficient flexibility combined with high stability.

To be more precise, the package consists of the following: PRIOR600 front bumper, PRIOR600 rear bumper, PRIOR600 side skirts, PRIOR600 front bonnet, PRIOR600 rear trunk spoiler, as well as mounting material.

Ford Introduces New EcoBoost Race Engine at 24 Hours of Daytona

Ford Motor Company will bring its 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost racing engine to the 2014 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship series. The new unit will debut at the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona in January next year.

In addition, it will run the entire 12-race season and will power a new-look Daytona Prototype car. The vehicle will be driven by Michael Shank Racing, which will be the first team to put EcoBoost power behind its DP car.

Ford EcoBoost engine provides both performance and fuel economy, on and off the track. The powerplant includes all the newest technologies – direct injection, turbocharging and high efficiency. Moreover, the engine will power a new Ford-inspired Riley Technologies Daytona Prototype car.

The body of the vehicle includes improved design cues created by the lead Ford production designer Garen Nicoghosian with aerodynamic support from Ford Racing chief aerodynamicist Bernie Marcus. The car is perfectly adapted obviously adapted for racing applications with racing controls.

The new engine will make its competitive racing debut at the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona. However, it will hit the Daytona track for the first time much sooner – on 9th of October.

What is more, Michael Shank Racing, Ford Racing and Continental Tire team up in order to set a new track record at the “World Center of Speed” by eclipsing the 210.364 mph lap laid down on 9th of February 1987 by NASCAR champion Bill Elliott. For this reason – to prepare for the record run, the EcoBoost engine has undergone endurance testing at Ford’s Dynamometer Lab.
