Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition – US Price $124,100

Porsche has published a video clip in Youtube, where the design philosophy behind the 911 50^th Anniversary Edition is explained.

The manufacturer will produce just 1963 units of the 50^th Anniversary Limited Edition model. This is the year when the first 911 was produced.

The RWD model wears the wide body of the Carrera 4 and features retro-inspired 20” alloy wheels, green numbers on the dials, chrome trim strips on the front air inlets, compartment grille and between the taillights, along with a couple of bespoke exterior paint schemes and the compulsory badging.

2012 Porsche 911 50^th Anniversary Edition is currently available on the European market with pricing starting from €121,119, while the US variant will cost significantly less – $124,100.

ABT Volkswagen Golf II – 30th Anniversary

Volkswagen Golf II is an iconic model representing reliability, good performance and extremely robust parts. Even 20 years after production had stopped, no fewer than 450,000 of that model are still registered in Germany. The performance ranges from 55HP (40 kW) in the smallest petrol and diesel variants to up to 210HP (155 kW) with the 1.8 liter supercharged model.

However, ABT has taken the powerful 1.8 liter supercharged G60 model to the next level boosting it to 240HP (177 kW). The tuning specialists has also installed a spoiler across the liftgate’s window, front spoiler, side mouldings with “ABT Power“ lettering and racing-type wheels.

2014 BMW 2-Series Coupe – A New Dimension in Driving Dynamics

BMW has continuing to expand their model range with a sensational 2-Series. After the recent revealing of 4-Series Coupe and Convertible, the manufacturer decided that it will be a good idea to split the 1-Series as well. The result is really spectacular!

The BMW 2-Series Coupe takes the levels of driving pleasure on offer in a compact model to even greater heights. The new two-door cuts a particularly impressive figure with its distinctive body design, a range of extremely powerful engines and specially configured chassis technology.

Initially, the engine range will include only 220i Coupe with 184HP (135 kW) and 270Nm (200 lb-ft) of torque and a powerful M235i Coupe with thrilling 326HP (240 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Of course we also expect the 228i with 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol and 245HP (180 kW) and 350Nm (258 lb-ft) as well as some diesel engines: 220d and 230d.

The dimensions of BMW 2-Series Coupe are: 4,432 mm length; 1,774 mm width; height 1,418 mm and 2,690 mm wheelbase. The boot space is 390 litres, which is 20 litres more than 1-Series Coupe. The BMW 2-Series Coupe also boasts more efficient aerodynamics than both the BMW 1-Series and its predecessor, as reflected in a Cd of 0.29 for the BMW 220i Coupe.

Everything seems to be perfect, but the real hardcore BMW fans won’t be satisfied at all…

A. Kahn Design Tunes Audi Q3 TDI S

A. Kahn Design is ready to announce its next exquisite project, which this time is not on the favorite for the tuning company Land Rover models, but on an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI S. The result is breathtaking – a luxury mini SUV that mixes elegant performance with rugged practicality.

In fact, the vehicle was designed in such way that it deliberately avoids the traditional ‘boxy’ look of a standard SUV. The modifications on this vehicle are minimal, but this does not take away the exclusivity of the project.

First to mention is that this Audi runs on brand new 10×20 inch Kahn RS-XF wheels in silver platinum color. They were coupled with 255x45x20” tyres and also through their spokes one sees the painted brake calipers.

In addition, the professionals at the British luxury tuning company have also added enamel wing shields, Amalfi White silhouette, privacy tinted glass and Kahn enamel tailgate logo. The refined interior of this Q3 speaks at least of luxury and high quality craftsmanship.

To be more precise, when one enters the car, one sees Kahn’s sculpted seats which are wrapped in natural looking quilted and perforated black leather, have customary Kahn investing in British Industry logo and Kahn rev counter facia in red.

2015 Audi A3 Sedan Hits The U.S. Market [VIDEO]

2015 Audi A3 Sedan includes an exclusive compact powerhouse which represents a new entry level for the brand. The vehicle offers a combination of standard features including a panoramic glass sunroof, leather seating surfaces, and bi-xenon headlights.

The new Audi model is currently hitting the U.S. market and will be joined later in 2014 by Audi A3 Cabriolet and A3 TDI clean diesel, and in early 2015 by S3 sedan and A3 Sportback e-tron gasoline electric hybrid (PHEV).

The A3 base model is equipped with standard features that include Audi signature LED DRLs and taillights, Bluetooth technology, Audi pre sensebasic and as mentioned – a panoramic glass sunroof.

What is more, for the first time for a vehicle in this segment, the A3 will include MMI technology, Audi drive select, 4G LTE connectivity and Bang & Olufsen audio. In addition, the interior of the car will also feature standard leather seating surfaces and exceptional ergonomics, which will contribute for the ambient and luxury experience of the occupants.

The engine range in the A3 sedan includes: 1.8 TFSI®, 2.0 TFSI®, 2.0 TDI® clean diesel, and a high-output 2.0 TFSI. An in order for the model to achieve superior traction and handling, it will be available with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive that will distribute power to the wheels that need it most.

All of the aforementioned units will be mated to the standard 6-speed S tronic transmission. The result will be great shifting flexibility and driving pleasure with smooth, dynamic acceleration and no interruption to the power flow.

Moreover, some new design features will be also included exclusively in the 2015 A3. We are speaking about the Singleframe grille and the optional full-LED headlights. 2015 Audi A3 Sedan has a starting price of $29 900 USD.

First Renderings And Details: 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan

The first renderings of the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis Premium Sedan were just revealed at an “All-New Genesis Media Preview” for the Korean media at Hyundai Motor Group’s R&D Center. The model will be launched first in Korea later this year, and then will debut in Detroit in January.

The main strengths of the new rear-wheel drive sedan are exclusive, luxury and distinctive design, best-in-class chassis system, premium level of driving and R&H performance, cutting-edge safety and convenience features.

Hyundai’s design philosophy “Fluidic Sculpture” has evolved in this model and it will be the first one to adopt Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. The latter has some core elements: simple and harmonious design with refined fluidic design elements, modern Hyundai look with a singular hexagonal grille, easy-to-understand and pleasant design and rich visuotactile color, material and finishing of the car.

Furthermore, the car exudes sporty and athletic stance, its single-frame premium hexagonal grille makes a bold front statement, while the fluidic and voluminous surfacing complete the side lines. At the rear we have high-tech, sculptural surface.

The interior of the model complements the premium look of the exterior. It was only disclosed that it will feature premium materials and master craftsmanship-level finish. In addition, the Human Machine Interface (HMI) will be also included. It will let drivers intuitively recognize vehicle functions, allowing for more convenient and effective utilization of functions.

In terms of safety, the 2015 Genesis Sedan has been significantly improved thanks to its new body structure and better rigidity. Its torsional and bending stiffness have been increased by the application of ultra-high-strength steel, hot-stamping and double-section structure on the front, partitioned engine room design as well as improved rear and center floor structures. Moreover, advanced seatbelt functions such as Emergency Fastening Device system (EFD) and Pre-Safe seatbelt contribute towards occupants’ safety.

The performance of the car was also refined through improved suspension and application of various advanced technologies. For instance, the chassis has been improved via the lateral stiffness of the front and rear suspensions and the excellent weight balance.

The use of electronic control suspension such as Advanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) enables greater stability in corners, while the Rack-mounted Motor Driven Electric Power Steering (R-MDPS) provides high-speed stability and direct response at low and medium speeds.

Brand’s ‘HTRAC’ all-wheel drive system will be also offered in the 2015 Genesis Sedan. This system electronically controls torque split between the front and rear axles depending on road and driving conditions. The result is greater stability on slippery roads and in corners.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 – US Price $100,760

Chevrolet is now offering the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 for $100,760. This is a whopping $25,000 mark-up to a Corvette Z51 that would normally cost $75,760. Of course you will wonder why that happened?

Because of a very strong demand for the C7 and GM has announced that they will not increase production of the sports car. So, if you can’t wait several months until production will catch up with demand, you will have to pay considerably more.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine with 455HP (339 kW) and 624Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque. 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.8 seconds and ¼ mile is covered in just 12.0 seconds. The sports coupe can pull 1.03 g on the skid pad and decelerate 60-0 mph in 32.6 meters (107 feet).

Cumulatively, the acceleration, cornering and braking capability of the Corvette Stingray enabled it to lap the Virginia International Raceway’s (VIR) 4.2-mile “Grand Course” in 2:51.78.

GAD Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series – 850HP and 1,350Nm

GAD-Motors has announced their latest project based on the mighty Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series. The tuning company has installed an uprated V8 twin-turbo M157 engine in the sports coupe.

The new 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 has 850HP (625 kW) and whopping 1,350Nm (1,000 lb-ft) of torque. This is an increase of 306HP and 550Nm. In other words the car is extremely fast. 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 8.8 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds.

The power is handled through GAD-Motors revised 4Matic gearbox that can handle 1500NM of torque equipped with a modified MCT (multi-clutch) capable of transferring the power to all wheels plus having a faster shifts between all the gears.

Special adjustable suspension was developed for the 4Matic setup by KW-Suspension making the car capable of achieving good numbers at a race track.

Carbon Ceramics are the choice of breaks used stopping this car from 100KM in 33 meters and 132 meters from 200KM.

The entire upgrade kit (without the car) is available for €180,250.

ABT Audi AS6 at SEMA

ABT Sportsline has will showcase Audi AS6 at the 2013 SEMA Motor Show.

“We look forward to being part of the SEMA’s 50^th anniversary ‘party’. With the ABT AS6, the more than 100,000 trade visitors at one of the globally most successful automotive fairs can see a perfect, detailed and dynamic total package“, commented Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of ABT Sportsline.

The AS6 is based on the Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro, which has been equipped with a new performance package boosting the engine to 286HP (210 kW) and 678Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 41HP and 98Nm.

Other highlights include a styling package – a new front spoiler, revised side skirts and a new rear bumper. There are also carbon fiber mirror caps, a rear spoiler and 20” ABT ER-C alloy wheels.

Last, but not least ABT has installed a set of sport springs and high-performance brake system.

TEASER: Take A Look Under The Cover Of Magnum MK5 [VIDEO]

Exactly a week ago the Canadian manufacturer Magnum Cars has announced that it is going to build a brand new super-light sports-vehicle with the release of a teaser video and some scarce information about the car.

Now, the brand is releasing a new footage which shows how the cover of the Magnum MK5 is being slowly lifted and as a result we get some first impressions of its athletic and rugged forms. Full details and the official unveil of the MK5 will happen on 30th of October, when the veil will be removed once and for all.

The aim of the brand is to deliver to the automotive world an awesome driving experience and innovations in terms of the technologies utilized in the lightweight design. It has also disclosed that it has used in this project new techniques and materials, thanks to which the bold styling and pioneering character of the MK5 were achieved.

Hertz Ford Focus ST-H In Panther Black Body

Hertz Ford Focus ST-H is a spectacular tuning that comes all the way from Amsterdam. The unique vehicle was entirely refined, starting from the exterior and ending up with the interior.

First of all, this spectacular Ford Focus ST-H pays tribute to all of those adorable Mustangs. This is visible to the unique Gold stripes which run from the front till the rear of the car. In addition, the golden theme was continued in the new rims on which now this Focus runs.

Next, the Hertz Ford Focus ST-H had to be powerful enough. This is the reason that motivated the team to equip it with 250 horsepower (184 kW) 2.0 EcoBoost engine. This powertrain is capable of an acceleration time of 6.5 seconds when the car has to cover the 0 – 100 km/h sprint.

In addition, the machine has an electronically limited to 248 km/h. Furthermore, the exterior of this five – door hatchback was additionally improved by the inclusion of new sporty ST bumpers, side skirts and a centrally positioned exhaust ST.

The black color theme of the exterior continues in the interior through the black leather electrically adjustable Recaro Recaro front and rear seats. At last to be mentioned is that this Focus ST has been equipped with many innovative technologies such as Ford’s SYNC connectivity system.
