Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Package for Europe

Jeep is going to offer a 2014 Wrangler Rubicon X Package Special Edition at the European market.

It is based on the Rubicon trim level and comes with a 7-slot black front grille and a dual-intake Power Dome hood. There are also tinted windows, body-colored spare tire cover, black fuel-filler and a set of 17” black alloy wheels.

The interior boasts black or red leather seats (front are heated), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, silver accents and Mopar’s tread-pattern slush floor mats. Other extras include a 6.5” touchscreen display and a 40GB HDD.

2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Package is powered by a 2.8 liter turbodiesl – 200HP (149 kW) and 460Nm (339 lb-ft) or a 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar gasoline with 284HP (212 kW) and 347Nm (256 lb-ft) of torque. Both are mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Abarth Introduces 695 biposto

Abarth 695 biposto is definitely a very special car. And note that it is not a “Limited Edition”, but comes to offer exhilarating performance blended with unique style. The car weighs just 997 kg and is driven by the 1.4 T-Jet engine. The unit is capable of generating 190 hp (140 kW), thus helping the biposto cover the 0-100 km/h acceleration sprint in only 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 143 mph.

Furthermore, the unit is coupled with a gearbox that features dog rings with controls and disc and clutch self-locking differential that were straightly derived from racing. In addition, driver’s interface includes an all-aluminium turret with H-configuration gear selection.

In other words, Abarth 695 biposto is all about racing. Street legal racing. An intercooler is positioned at the front with specific pipes inspired by race cars. Next, dynamic aspiration filter casing with carbon finish by BMC were also added, as well as air intake devices and dual-stage exhaust system with titanium tail pipes by Akrapovic. In particular, when the driver presses the SPORT button on the dashboard, the exhaust valve completely opens and this contributes to improved performance.

The reliability and safety of the car is ensured by the ABS, ESP and TTC, disc and clutch self-locking differential and the racing-derived Brembo braking system with front floating, ventilated and perforated discs (305×28 mm) and four-piston one-piece calipers (4×38 mm). In addition, the model is also equipped with shock absorbers with hydraulic and height adjustment by Extreme Shox.

For perfect driving, Abarth also gave this exclusive sports car front fixed windows with polycarbonate sliding panels and, lightened 18-inch rims by OZ fitted with 215/35 R18 tyres. To make it even more “racing-real”, there’s the data logger from MLX included.

In terms of exterior, we can’t miss the exclusive front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wheel arches and spoiler that are more pronounced and muscular, and are enhanced by carbon inserts. The exterior color of this model sports brand-new textured-effect Matt Grey paint finish.

Additional accents are provided by the titanium finishes for the front bonnet trim, door handles and tailgate and rear handle. The titanium is also visible at the hub caps, wheel bolts and water, oil and fuel caps. The bonnet has a specific design with two bumps and is made of aluminium, while the mirror and post covers are made of carbon.

The carbon material makes the link between exterior and interior. Inside it is to be found on the dashboard fascia inserts, rearview mirror, and handbrake. The racing spirit of the 695 biposto is also visible in the rear titanium roll bar by Poggipolini.

At the rear there are no seats. An ‘anti intrusion’ net for securing luggage and the four-point seat belts are also attached to the roll bar. The upholstery comprises of electro-welded Alcantara and titanium-coloured leather with new colours and finishes. The door handles and oddment net enhance the front door panel.

WALD Shows Mercedes-Benz M-Class Black Bison

After the reveal of the WALD Mercedes-Benz E-Class Black Bison Edition last month, the tuners obviously like the styling and branding and now are offering the Black Bison treatment to an M-Class Mercedes-Benz, thanks to which the vehicle shows unique credentials and stands out.

Not much information has been disclosed on this project and only two low-res images were published. This left us with now choice, but judging from previous Black Bison tunings and photos what this car is all about.

This WALD Mercedes-Benz M-Class W166 Sports Line Black Bison Edition obviously stands lower to the ground and features a lowered sports suspension. At the front, a new front bumper can be seen which in addition includes new LEDs and large air ducts.

Furthermore, the fender arches have been widened and extended towards the rear bumper. At the rear, the revised rear bumper features new diffuser and quad-tailpipe exhausts system. Trunk-mounted lip spoiler and a roof spoiler were also added there.

At last, we can’t miss the wheels which sport new design and are decided in black-and-white theme. It is also visible that they are fitted with large and low-profile tyres.

Land Rover Teases New Discovery Family [VIDEOS]

This will celebrate the 25 years anniversary of the model line-up. Land Rover Discovery was first introduced in 1989 and since then has become the vehicle of choice for those who share its spirit of adventure.

It became so popular due to its renowned all-terrain capability and extreme versatility. It became also an emblematic vehicle in races such as the Paris-Dakar Rally and the off-road Camel Trophy. And now the model is going to enter a new chapter in its history. This new chapter will see the vehicle build upon its foundations of capability, versatility and exceptional design.

The family of Discovery vehicles remains so far a mystery, and we are really eager to see it. The good new is that Land Rover has disclosed two videos in order to tease the upcoming models, which you can view below.

2014 Nissan NV Passenger And Cargo Van Go On Sale

2014 Nissan NV Cargo Van and 2014 Nissan NV Passenger Van are both going on sale around the United States, specifically prepared for the new model year and offering convenience. The new NV Cargo will be offered in three models: NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD. In addition to this the vehicle will have two options for roof configurations – namely, Standard Roof and High Roof.

For this vehicle Nissan offers two powerful and at the same time efficient engines, which power the rear-wheels: the 4.0-liter V6 and 5.6-liter V8 one. Both are coupled with a standard 5-speed automatic transmission.

What is new for the MY2014 here? Well, the brand has prepared enhancements only for S and SV trim levels. In addition, there are also available optional equipment packages. All 5.6-liter V8 vehicles now have the former Tow Package content as standard equipment.

Next, the NV Passenger vehicle is a 4-row/12-passenger Van which is offered in three well-equipped models: NV3500 HD S, NV3500 HD SV and NV3500 HD SL. All of them come equipped with a V8 engine only again mated as a standard to a 5-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of safety, 2014 NV Passenger is equipped with eight standard air bags (including roof-mounted), curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for 2nd through 4th row outboard occupant head protection and standard head restraints and integrated seat belts for all rear seating positions. It is interesting that the model offers 324 seating configurations and a total of six independent rear seats.

The available technology offered here features 5.0-inch touch-screen navigation system, AM/FM/CD/MP3 and Aux-In, SiriusXM Satellite Radio with NavTraffic, USB input, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System and RearView Monitor.

Vorsteiner Introduces V-GT Edition 991 Porsche Carrera S

Vorsteiner is a tuning company which works with no compromise when it comes to the materials it uses or even the cars it tunes. We have seen so far from the designers, breath-taking project done with an effortless touch.

Their take on the 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S dubbed as V-GT Edition is another example of the craftsmanship they can do. TO be more precise, this Porsche 911 has been fitted with Vorsteiner’s Flow Forged V-FF 101 in Matte Textured Gunmetal that adds a striking contrast to the red exterior paint finish.

The wheels come in sizes of 20×8.5J at the front and 20x11J at the rear. Of course, they were later perfectly coupled with Pirelli P Zero tyres that come in sizes 245/35/20 and 295/30/20 for the front and rear, respectively.

Then the tuners added their Carbon Fiber Aerodynamic Package that comprises of our Carbon Fiber V-GT Front Spoiler, Side Skirts and Rear Diffuser. Vorsteiner’s Autoclaved Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber gives the parts superior stiffness, aerospace strength and durability in comparison to the traditional hand laid carbon fiber composites. 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty – 2nd Generation Power Stroke Turbodiesel

Ford will going to install a 2^nd generation 6.7 liter Power Stroke V8 Turbodiesel engine in the 2015 F-Series Super Duty models. The new engine offers best-in-class horsepower, torque and towing capacity.

As we talking about “best-in-class”, this means 440HP (328 kW) and 1,164Nm (860 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 40HP and 81Nm compared to the previous version of the power unit. Thanks to all this power, the F-350’s maximum towing capacity has also been increased to 12 tons (26,500 lbs), while the larger F-450 can tow up to 14.1 tons (31,200 lbs).

Other modifications include a new rear leaf springs, beefier stabilizer bars, upgraded shocks and a stronger steering system. The model also gains larger brakes and a retuned antilock braking system delivering better performance.

“We’re the only manufacturer that develops and builds our own powertrains in this class and when you combine that with a chassis that’s purpose-built for best-in-class power and torque, you can feel the result in the way it drives, especially when towing big loads.” He went on to say “Our chassis people work in unison with our powertrain people to develop more than a great truck, it’s a machine engineered for work”, commented Doug Scott – Ford Truck Group Marketing Manager.

Geneva Motor Show: 2015 Nissan Juke [VIDEO]

As announced earlier, the 2015 Nissan Juke was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. The emblematic model has refined front and rear design that contributes towards sportier appearance. In addition, at the front, the upper lamps have been redesigned and now feature bi-intensity LED daytime running lamps while the headlamps have Xenon bulbs and new lens covers.

Door mirrors integrate LED side turn strip repeaters and cameras for the Around View Monitor. At the rear the bumper has a more aggressive shape and features boomerang tail lamps with LED light guide technology. The exterior paint finishes now extends to ten, including three new shades: Sunlight Yellow metallic, Ink Blue metallic and solid Red.

What completes the exterior revisions are the 16-inch steel and alloy wheels as a standard, or the optional 17-inch alloys on Acenta and Tekna variants. A band new 18-inch alloy wheel will be available with colored inserts.

The interior of the new Juke was refined as well. The distinctive features included here are the centre console inspired by a motorbike, interior in a sophisticated grey theme or in red, white, black or even bright yellow themes. Nissan offers two styles of fabric for the seat upholstery – comfort and sport.

The brand didn’t stop with the revisions here but focused on the luggage area which now has an increased space by 40 per cent of up to 354L. The flat folding rear seat on the other hand make it easier to load large objects, while the inclusion of a two-stage floor in the luggage area makes the space even more flexible.

In addition, what’s new for the MY2015i s the downsized 1.2-litre turbocharged engine which offers greater performance, economy and lower emissions as well as the revised 1.6-litre DIG-T unit. The existing and acclaimed 1.5 dCi diesel with 110 hp (81 kW) continues unchanged.

Precisely, the 1.2-litre DIG-T petrol engine delivers 115 hp (85kW) and generates 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque, while emitting only 126g/km of CO2 and having a fuel consumption figure of 5.5l/100km.

Next, the revised 1.6 DIG-T petrol unit now delivers lower end torque below 2,000rpm and produces 190 hp (140kW). This engine emits 139g/km of CO2. Both powertrains are coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, while only the 1.6 DIG-T can be optionally matched with Xtronic transmission gearbox.

Continuing with the changes, Nissan has also improved the four-wheel drive with Torque Vectoring System, added new alloy wheels and a wide range of advanced equipment such as new audio system, the latest generation NissanConnect driver-vehicle interface, Nissan Safety Shield, Nissan’s Dynamic Control system, and an optional opening glass roof.

All models come equipped as a standard with LED daytime running lamps, CD radio with an AUX-In socket, gear-shift indicator to promote a more efficient driving style and tyre pressure monitor. The Visia 1.5 dCi and 1.6 Pack versions add alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, drive computer and driver seat height adjustment.

Next, the Acenta models come equipped with front fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, remote audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio streaming, cruise control and limiter, Nissan Dynamic Control System and chrome interior touches.

At last, the Tekna models add power folding door mirrors, light and rain sensors, i-Key with Start/Stop and the latest NissanConnect with rear-view parking/reversing camera, Around View Monitor and Safety Shield.

2015 Nissan Juke will go on sale across Europe this summer.

B&B Volkswagen Golf VII R – 420HP and 530Nm

B&B Automobiltechnik has presented their latest project based on the all-new hot hatchback – Volkswagen Golf VII R. It comes with styling and performance upgrades as well. There are three performance packages for the 2.0 liter TFSI engine.

Stage I boosts the engine to 360HP (265 kW) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft) – an increase of 60HP and 80Nm. The price is €1,298 and the performance package includes an ECU re-map.

Stage II includes a bigger downpipe as well as a sports catalyst. The price is €3,950 and the result – 385HP (283 kW) and 480Nm (354 lb-ft) – an increase of 85HP and 110Nm.

Stage III comes with a bigger turbocharger and complete sports exhaust system as well as a new induction system. The price is €9,850 and the power is increased to 420HP (309 kW) and 530Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque, which is spectacular result – 210HP / liter displacement.

0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 17.5 seconds. The top speed is over 300 km/h (186 mph).

Other upgrades include an oil-cooling system – €985, a set of performance springs to improve the stance and handling – from €298, a pair of bigger stabilizers – from €498 and a set of big 8.5J x 20” alloy wheels with 235/30 R20 tires along with 4 or 6-piston calipers.

2015 BMW ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe To Debut In New York

2015 BMW ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe will make an official debut at the New York International Auto Show in April, going immediately thereafter on sale. The car has been launched today and the brand has also disclosed some information around it.

This BMW ALPINA is exceptional. First of all it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds. This is due to the he 4.4-liter ALPINA Bi-Turbo V8 unit which delivers 540 horsepower (397 kW) and 732 Nm (540 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is matched with an 8 speed Sport Automatic Transmission with ALPINA Switch-Tronic and BMW’s xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system. The top speed here is 198 mph.

Other highlights here include the tuned high performance stainless steel ALPINA exhaust system with twin elliptical tailpipes, the Electronic Damping Control and Active Roll Stabilization technology that work in combination in order to distribute the torque of the xDrive intelligent AWD.

ALPINA has masterfully crafted the design of this BMW with elegant lines that emphasize its dynamic and powerful appearance. Adding to this are the refined 20” ALPINA CLASSIC 21-spoke wheels. In addition, the front apron with integrated splitter elements directs airflow over and around the body. This results in an enhanced high speed aerodynamic stability.

ALPINA exterior colors available for this B6 Gran Coupe feature ALPINA Blue and ALPINA Green. Inside, one can see the ALPINA LAVALINA leather that wraps the hand stitched steering wheel, as well as door sill trims with an illuminated ALPINA logo and ALPINA Myrtle wood or Piano Black trim finishes.

2015 BMW X4 – Sports Activity Coupe for Women

The official revealing of the all-new 2014 BMW X4 matches to International Women’s Day. There is no doubt that the X6 is one of the most muscular and aggressive vehicles currently available on the market and if you match it with a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine, it becomes a real beast, which is certainly not suitable for girls. That’s why, the German manufacturer has created the X4, which turns to be a women’s SAC.

Do not mistake the new X4 with soft and shy car, which you can see on the road. It has a really strong presence thanks to the wide stance and the aggressive front. This SAC is designed for strong and independent women, who want to declare their presence on the road.

The exterior of 2015 BMW X4 boasts a prominent grille flanked by twin headlights and distinctive fog lights. The sloping roofline and the four doors without frames are classic for the sports coupe design. At the rear, we can see L-shaped LED taillights and a big diffuser. The X4 is based on the current X3, but it is 14mm longer and 36mm lower, which means more interior space even for up to five people.

Talking about interior, it is classical for the current BMWs – a semi-driver oriented dashboard with a lot of switches and buttons. The i-Drive console is placed on more intuitive place and features touch function. There is a lot of high quality materials used in the cabin as well as aluminum trim, electroplated accents and gloss black control panel surrounds. There is also a 40:20:40 split rear seat which folds down to expand the luggage compartment to whopping 1,400 liters.

The engine range includes three diesel and three gasoline engines at the beginning. The diesels are a 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder with 190 HP (140 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft); a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder with 258 HP (190 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) and a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder with 313 HP (230 kW) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft). In conclusion, the 2015 X4 is a real BMW coming with aggressive exterior, ergonomic interior and powerful engines. It is a perfect choice for those who don’t want a vehicle as big as X6, but they want to be noticed.

Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport Offers Hands-Free Tailgate [VIDEO]

Ford’s Titanium X Sport Series are the latest addition to the new range of the Kuga model. The new series add luxury and technology features as standard. First to mention are the 19in 5×2-spoke alloy wheels; next come the body styling kit which comprises of body color front, side and rear skirts, spoiler, wheel arches and door claddings. In addition, the kit also includes lower centre silver skid plate and rear diffuser.

Furthermore, the Titanium X Sport adds the following technologies: Sony DAB audio with satellite navigation, rear view camera and Active Park Assist for semi-automated parallel parking. Silver roof rails, privacy glass, power fold mirrors, opening panorama roof, heated front Torino leather seats and 10-way powered driver’s seat.

This Ford SUV is driven by the 1.6 EcoBoost petrol (150/182hp) or 2.0 TDCi petrol (140/163hp) engines. In addition the hands-free tailgate (see the video below) is the first to be offered on a medium-sized SUV in Europe.

The system uses two sensors in the rear bumper that register the driver’s leg and respond to the kicking motion. The keyless opening comes for the Kuga as an optional feature. Also available are the Active City Stop and AWD technologies.
