Cosworth Releases Video Teaser Of Upgraded Subaru BRZ

Cosworth Subaru BRZ is going to be equipped with tuning company latest enhancement package called Cosworth Power Package – FA20. What was revealed about it is that it will include the FA20 engine platform as well as the video below. Company’s ability to engineer and manufacture complete engine systems for our customers is a key capability. What we have also understood is that this will be a complete performance upgrade kit, which has been designed and validated as a system to provide guaranteed levels of power and reliability.

FA-20 name probably refers to Subaru BRZ’s 2.0-liter horizontally-opposed four-cylinder Boxer petrol engine. It delivers 200 hp (147 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft). In addition, it also boasts a low centre of gravity and rear-wheel drive for engaging driving thrills.

Furthermore, from the teaser video we can conclude that in the upgraded version of the BRZ we will probably see an upgraded exhaust system, large rear wing and body stripes both in blue. There is a chance of included supercharger or turbocharger which will enhance horsepower. In the video we also see the Toyota GT86, which means that the FA20 will work flawlessly for this model as well.

2014 Nissan e-NV200 – Price and Specs

Nissan has announced the pricing of the revolutionary e-NV200 – the 100% electric van that will change the LCV market forever. The model combines the exceptional all-round capability and versatility.

It will hit the market in July in both panel van and five-seat combi form, and in two distinct trim levels, the groundbreaking newcomer offers exceptional running cost savings over a conventional diesel van, making it an unbeatable proposition for businesses large and small.

The all-electric e-NV200 van Acenta is priced from just £16,562, while the combi is priced at £22,859. Meanwhile, those choosing the Flex option, with monthly battery rental starting from £61 per month will see their initial outlay (incorporating PiVG/PiCG) on the same Acenta level van and combi fall to just £13,393 and £17,855 respectively.

e-NV200 drivers can expect to benefit from up to £2,500 of fuel savings with the vehicle costing 2 pence per mile, while maintenance costs will be reduced by £575 based on servicing, parts and wear and tear.

2015 Ford Mustang – US Pricing Announced

2015 Ford Mustang is already available to order at Ford dealerships across North America. The car is equipped with a wide range of standard features like the entirely independent suspension and the start push-button. There is a choice of three powerful engines and a 50 Years Appearance Package. 2015 Ford Mustang equipped with 3.7-liter V6 engine delivers more than 300 horsepower (220 kW) and 365 Nm (270 lb.-ft.) of torque.

On the other hand, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine generates up to 305 horsepower (224 kW) and 407 Nm (300 lb.-ft.) of torque, while the upgraded 5.0-liter V8 unit produces more than 420 horsepower (309 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb.-ft.) of torque. Each of engines can be coupled with either an upgraded six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Wide range of standard features will be included in 2015 Mustang. For instance, the fully independent front and rear suspension will ensure improved driving dynamics and ride quality. Eight airbags including front, knee and side-impact deliver protection for driver and front passenger, while the rear view camera system aids difficult driving conditions.

Other standard features are the individual tire pressure monitor readouts for each wheel, high-intensity discharge headlamps with signature lighting, illuminated, locking glove box, leather-wrapped steering wheel with manual tilt and telescope adjustment, intelligent access, enabling the driver to enter without touching the key fob, push-button start and SYNC connectivity system with next-generation AppLink to control smartphone apps with simple voice commands as well as 4.2-inch color display and two USB ports.

The list of available technologies and accessories is long and includes eight-inch, high-resolution touch-screen display and navigation, Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert upgraded with Doppler-effect radar, Adaptive cruise control and collision warning, Track Apps, Selectable drive modes, electronic line lock and a launch control system that manages engine speed and brakes.

In addition, the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will be available for the Mustang EcoBoost Premium and Mustang GT Premium models. The 50 Years appearance package includes a chrome-accented grille, round 50 Years rear badge, 19×8.5-inch alloy wheels mated to 255/40R19 all-season tires, anniversary floor mats and unique seat and door-trim stitching.

The starting price of 2015 Ford Mustang fastback is only $24,425 USD. It will be available in North America this fall.

TOP 10 Fastest Cars 2013 [part 2] – Trap Speed

3^rd place is held by Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.1 Switzer R1K-X Goliath with 1,700 HP (1,250 kW). Oleg B. managed to scoop the bronze with 402.23 km/h (250 mph).

2^nd place is for Leonid V. and his Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera Underground Racing R2 / Altechno with epic 2,005HP (1,474 kW). He crossed the finish line with 402.68 km/h (250 mph).

1^st place is also for Leonid V. with Lamborghini Gallardo Nera Exelixis / GTR RT / ZOD / SPP / GTT / Altechno / Syvecs with 1,850HP (1,360 kW). The record for 2013 is 409.09 km/h (254 mph), which is just insane.

The time, which Leonid V. set with the Gallardo Nera Exelixis is almost unbeatable. He managed to cover 1 mile in 20.845 seconds, which means that the car accelerates 0-409 km/h in that time. The new Koenigsegg Agera One:1 is believed to do 0-400 km/h in 20.0 seconds, but we strongly doubt that. It is quite impossible.

A lot of improvements are expected for Nissan GT-Rs, which are still in it. We also expect to see twin-turbo version of Lamborghini Aventador and other interesting hyper cars.

Jaguar Reveals First Image Of Production 2015 XE

2015 Jaguar XE was revealed at company’s official Facebook page with a first image. The production version of the sedan is going to make a public debut at Paris Motor Show later this year. Jaguar confirmed that the car will be available on the market in mid-2015. In addition, the company is also planning to show more images of the car made in the same manner. The first picture shows how the XE is wrapped with a foil which perfectly displays what is under the bodywork.

In other words, via the “see-through camouflage” we can witness aluminum monocoque and other internal structures. The aluminum structure is called by the luxury company iQ[Al] and will be also utilized for other vehicles.

We can also see from the picture that the XE is similar to the XF and has an aggressive front fascia, rectangular grille with thin headlights as well as large rearview mirrors and wide wheel-arches. The car will be driven by the Ingenium 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel and petrol engines, and by the 3.0-liter supercharged V6.

The powertrains will be installed in transverse or inline configurations. This will depend on the rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive that the car will come with. Although several markets will have the new XE available in mid-2015, North America will receive it in 2016.

Starting with 10^th place for Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.1 GTT 1000 with 1,200HP (882 kW) driven by Georgiy P. – he achieved 368.85 km/h (229 mph).

The 9^th position is held by Porsche 911 Turbo 997 Mk.1 DT 1200R with 1,200HP (882 kW) and speed of 370.75 km/h (230 mph). The driver is Sergey I.

8^th place is for Oleg K. and his Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.1 DT 1200R with 1,400HP (1,029 kW). The speed is 371.90 km/h (231 mph).

7^th place earned Pavel Kh. With Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.1 DT 1200R with 1,200HP (882 kW) and speed of 375.78 km/h (234 mph).

6^th place is for Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.2 AMS Alpha 12+ Turbo Drive with epic 1,700HP (1,250 kW) and Yury M. behind the steering wheel. The speed is 386.68 km/h (240 mph).

5^th place is taken by Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Twin Turbo Total Race with 395.60 km/h (246 mph).

Nissan Teases C-Segment Pulsar

2014 Nissan Pulsar C-segment model is an innovative family which is to go on sale in Europe this autumn. With it the Japanese brand re-enters the core C-segment and builds on the success of Qashqai. The vehicle is set to be revealed later today. It is a spacious five-door hatchback, which has been designed to meet the specific demands and will be built at Nissan’s Barcelona, Spain, factory.

The introduction of Pulsar is an aim of Nissan’s to re-establish its strong link with the C-segment, which is the second largest sector in the European car market. The car has been designed with the same quality and high innovation approach that is typical for all Nissan models.

As a matter of fact, Pulsar name enjoys a rich history in brand’s product timeline. The car with that name has first appeared in 1978. Pulsar badge has been widely used for models in Asian and Australasian markets, and has appeared in certain European markets in the early 1990’s on the N14 model.

Mazda MX-5 To Compete In 24 Hours Nurburgring

Mazda MX-5 is going to compete in the famous 24 Hours Nürburgring Endurance Race, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the model. For the event, JOTA Sport was commissioned to prepare the vehicle and manage the race team. The team will comprise of four drivers who have history of success in versatile races. Nürburgring will take place in Germany on 21st and 22d of June.

To go further into details, the team of four drivers includes Stefan Johansson, Wolfgang Kaufmann, Owen Mildenhall and Teruaki Kato. Johansson is familiar with endurance racing inside out and has an outstanding track record as a driver for Mazdaspeed at 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Kaufmann has known Nürburgring circuit very well. Owen Mildenhall is a journalist, but he has raced the MX-5 in a variety of competitions. And at last, Teruaki Kato is famous for winning the Japan’s Roadster Party Race.

Since the introduction of Mazda MX-5 in 1989, over 940,000 units have been produced. For this reason, the model is recognized by Guinness World Records as world’s best-selling two-seater open-top sports car.

Tushek T600 at Top Marques Monaco

Tushek Supercars has unveiled their new model – the T600 at Top Marques Monaco. The ultra-light convertible comes with insane engine and extreme performance.

The manufacturer didn’t release full information about the new model, but the curb weight is 1,120 kg (2,469 lbs) and the engine – a V8 with 620HP (456 kW). It will be a lot faster than the previous model (T500), which is powered by an Audi-sourced 4.2 liter V8 engine – 450HP (331 kW) and 428Nm (316 lb-ft) of torque.

The T500 accelerates 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 11.5 seconds, the top speed is over 310 km/h (193 mph).

The T600 is expected to do 0-100 km/h in under 3.0 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.0 seconds. The top speed is somewhere beyond 322 km/h (200 mph). The extreme car has a power-to-weight ratio of 554HP per ton, which is more than Bugatti Veyron, which has 530HP per ton.

The car was built from only the most advanced race-specification components. The Tushek’s car-making philosophy aims pure, direct, sensual driving experience and user-friendly performance and handling.

Koenigsegg Agera One:1 at 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The mega car – Koenigsegg Agera One:1 will make its UK debut on the Michelin stand at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed – 26^th to 29^th June. It is the first homologated production car in the world with one Megawatt of power and HP to weight ratio of 1:1.

Some of the highlights include a 5.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 aluminum engine – 1,341 HP (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) at 6,000RPM. The curb weight is exactly 1,341 kg (2,956 lbs).

The power is put on the road through a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox sending it to an electronic differential at the rear wheels. 0-400 km/h in 20.0 seconds. The engine can run not only on regular gasoline, but also with E85 biofuel as well as race fuel.

Other features include carbon ceramic braking system from Agera R, updated rear triplex suspension with active shock absorbers and carbon bevel springs and a set of huge wheels fitted with high performance tires – bespoke Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres from Michelin.

The braking system consists of 397mm front power-assisted ventilated ceramic discs with 6-piston calipers at the front and 380mm with 4-piston calipers at the rear. 100-0 km/h in 28 meters and from 400-0 km/h in less than 10 seconds.

2014 Koenigsegg One:1 will be built in a limited series of just 6 units and all of them have already been sold.

Mansory Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6

Mansory has revealed their latest project based on the huge Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6. The SUV comes with both styling and performance upgrades.

The exterior boasts new headlights as well as a modified front hood and grill. There are also some carbon fiber elements like mirror housings, the engine side ventilators, rear skirt as well as the air guide elements of the front skirt.

Mansory can also fully modify the interior by using uses the best, perfect leather, the highest quality Alcantra, flawless fine woods and of course only perfectly produced carbon. In cooperation with the design department, the in house upholstery shop has implemented a carbon design with contrasting elements, which transfers the concept of the exterior to the interior of the vehicle.

The 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 is completely reworked – new connecting rods, pistons, bearings, cylinder head as well as a new crankshaft and exhaust system. There are also bigger turbochargers and an ECU re-map. The result is decent – 840HP (618 kW) and 1,000Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque – electronically limited. This is an increase of almost 296HP and 242Nm.

Originally, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is priced at €379,000, but there is no information about the price of Mansory’s tuning package.
