Abundant Range of Features Added to Jaguar XE [VIDEO]

The release of abundant variety of accessories has been just announced for the Jaguar XE model. There are a lot of carbon fiber performance parts and features that are to support the wishes even of the most capricious occupant. The first thing that the customers should decide on is the engine and suspension. In addition, there are a total of seven derivatives and three suspension settings. In terms of exterior colors the one must decide among eighteen exterior paint finishes and twenty-four styling options. And so the list continues.

In terms of smart technologies, Jaguar really knows what’s trendy, since it has equipped the car with the optional Head-Up Display (HUD) and InControl infotainment suite. And for those who are keen on outdoor activities, they should consider equipping the XE with roof bars, folding bike rack being, the aero 430-litre Sports Roof Box, Central Armrest Chiller and cooled stowage for bottled water.

The designers have also thought about the personality of the car, mainly expressed by subtle changes throughout the interior. The practical options inside comprise of Premium Seat Back Stowage, the flexible 40, 20, 40 split seating arrangement and special utilities such as range of towing systems, machined aluminium Rechargeable Torch and Dock.

Oh, not to mention the optional Snow Sock Traction System, which is useful in extreme weather conditions. Other features and systems that improve safety include the Child Safety Seats, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and 360° Parking Sensors.

I remember talking about a lot of carbon fiber. Well, it can be seen on the mirror covers and side power vents for instance. Other styling enhancements are the Luxury Load space Carpet Mat with Jaguar logos, personalized and illuminated sill tread plates or the R-sport-branded multi-function steering wheel. And at last, you can see how to match your car to the lifestyle you are bound to, of course with the help of Jaguar XE and its features rich equipment.

Morgan’s Turbocharged Sports Car Has Sleek Looks

The final teaser image showing the sleek profile of the future turbocharged Morgan. Morgan is probably releasing the final teaser image of its new sports model that will be revealed in just a week at the Geneva Motor Show. As we can see from the picture the profile of the car is sleek, expresses dynamism and has this typical for Morgan design which we all love. It will be rather a coupe than a roadster. And unfortunately all of this shows nothing new so far.

What is more, judging by the last teaser, it will also carry the same old face with the big grille and round headlights. This isn’t as amusing as it might seem, since we are big fans of Morgan, and we do want to see more.

However, what keeps us still hanging is the video shown a few days ago which displayed the interior and, most importantly, let us hear the roar of this beautiful beast. The mighty cry of the engine appears like Morgan is going turbo and this is what really excites each and every one of us!

What we already know is that the new model is going to be based on the Aero Coupe and Aero Supersports models. Since there is no information regarding the engine, except for the turbo sound, we expect to see a turbocharged version of the 4.8-liter V8 unit, meaning around 400+ hp and 450+ Nm of torque. R-Zentric is the new “Black” for Tesla Model S [VIDEO]

RevoZport has sent us new pictures of their exclusive Tesla Model S P85D fitted with the R-Zentric aerokit. Even without the tuning the car is exceptional and there is no second though on this. Still, the urge to always want more lies hidden in our subconscious. What the tuners have done is to further boost this unique vehicle. Model S P85D is capable as a standard with horsepower that kicks 692 hp (509 kW). In addition, the 0-60mph acceleration happens in only 3.2 seconds and the top speed is of 250km/h.

With nearly 700 hp and these envious figures, RevoZport made the car literally jump to the next level. Precisely, the R-Zentric kit is created with the aim to deliver more downforce and grip to the car.

To go into details, the aim of the tuners was to optimize the handling performance and rear entertainment. So they designed the R-Zentric aerokit. It comprises of a lot of carbon fiber elements including the front splitter, fender flares, side skirts, fender flares, diffuser and trunk spoiler.

The aero kit does not only reduce the 2100 kg kerb weight of the Tesla, but also enables a performance that corresponds to the power of the car. The new Klassen ID forged alloys were the next step in this tuning, being huge and measuring 22 inches. At the front two corners they were fitted with rubbers in the size of 9.5J/255, while at the back – with 11J/295. This also resulted in expanding the track width of the car by 40mm.

The next step in this project was concentrated in the interior, where we see the standard 17” touch control panel. However, if we look at the back of the car, there we will find the new rear entertainment console that offers support for smart devices. There have been also added cup-holders as well as two additional USB plugs. It is also evident that the designers have used a lot of carbon fibre and fine leather for the coupe.

GTA Spano Teased Once Again

Is it the day of the holy teasers today? Because so far teaser images of soon–to–be–officially–introduced vehicles have been rolling around like money on Wall Street! Another company that decided to tease its awaiting fans is GTA Motor that has just released a picture of its newest Spania GTA Spano. Showcasing a sophisticated front fascia and promising to dazzle us with the most advanced technology and exotic material known as “graphene,” this model is ready for its debut during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March.

Quoting the officially revealed specifics not too long ago, the GTA Spano will feature a brand new V10 twin Turbo engine with 7,990 cm3 displacement. It will be capable of boosting out the screaming 925 HP (680 kW) with a peak torque of 1220 Nm (990 Nm). These figures will allow the car to speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of more than 370 km/h. Impressive, isn’t it?

The chassis and bodywork are examples of a revolutionary and ground-breaking approach when it comes to the construction of the car. Precisely, the model is composed of carbon fiber, titanium, Kevlar and graphene which really depict what true craftsmanship stands for.

There is going to be a limited production of just 99 vehicles.

2015 Subaru Forester Gets Engine and Interior Updates

Subaru has revealed further details of the upgraded 2015 Subaru Forester which is going on sale in the UK on 1 April. The car arrives with a new powertrain and enhanced cabin. The decision to pair the well-known 2.0-litre horizontally-opposed ‘Boxer’ diesel engine with a diesel-Lineartronic CVT (continuously-variable transmission) powertrain turns out to be more than just a useful idea because this way the car receives boosted off-road capabilities and can offer smoother and more relaxing drive.

Matched to the standard All-Wheel Drive drivetrain, the Lineartronic also brings the prominent Subaru’s Hill Descent Control (HDC) and the X-Mode system. They help the car deal with extremely slippery roads and manage the Forester’s brakes, torque and drivetrain. But exactly how powerful is the Boxer diesel engine? It delivers precisely 148 hp (109 kW) with 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.

The Lineartronic transmission fitted to the 2015 Forester’s 2.0-litre diesel engine is the same high-capacity CVT found on the powerful 240 PS XT Turbo model, and is engineered to manage the diesel engine’s high 350 Nm torque output. Thanks to the new unit-gearbox combination, the updated Subaru Forester will return 46.3 mpg and 158 g/km CO2 on the combined cycle. Moreover, the vehicle is able to accelerate from 0 62 mph in 9.6 seconds. Models fitted with a diesel engine mated to a standard six-speed manual can return 49.6 mpg and 148 g/km CO2 on the combined cycle. The 0-62 mph run is covered in 9.8 seconds.

While the exterior of the Subaru Forester is pretty much unchanged, the interior gains some notable alterations. It features 7.0-inch touchscreen, fitted as standard to all XC, AC Premium and XT trims. The automobile takes advantage of factory-fit touchscreen infotainment and a new navigation system. Finally, there are innovative pioneer dealer-fit options as well. The starting price of the 2.0D X Lineartronic is that of £26,495.

Aston Martin Vulcan Breathes Out Fire and Power [VIDEO]

Earlier this month Aston Martin shared that the world is going to see something outstanding, something special, something that will melt the air and will urge time to stop just so people can take a long breath while looking in amazement at the new automotive beast. Releasing a new teaser video, the automaker showed us what kind of an aggressiveness to expect soon. Of course, the debut of the vehicle will take place during the 2015 Geneva Auto Show next week.

Determined to conquer the world, the new Aston Martin Vulcan is going to be track only, which will turn it into a potential competitor for the McLaren P1 GTR and Ferrari FXX K. According to the British sports car builder, this hypercar is expected to be the most extreme model in the 102-year history of the brand. And after viewing the video it is hard to disagree with this statement.

Showing off with a massive racing rear wing as well as beefed up and the more masculine body, the new Vulcan revs the engines while its side exhausts breathe out flames which can burn the senses of every adrenaline-lover.

Other details about this powerful Aston Martin reveal that the car is expected to be produced in less than 30 units. More information is yet to come meanwhile enjoy the craziness of the Vulcan in the video bellow.

Is Nissan Sway Concept as Good as the Qashqai?

During the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Nissan is going to introduce its Sway concept vehicle which is the next addition to the other automobiles in the small segment. It is envisioned as a model which has the right place next to cars such as Volkswagen Polo or Ford Fiesta. Nissan Sway concept is said to be a representation of what the future models of the small Nissan family might look like. The implementation of a striking new design language will help the company craft out an exemplary of compactness and comfort which come together and serve to offer exclusive driving experience.

Observing the revealed teaser image, we do suspect that the next gen Micra is not going to inherit the same design as its predecessor that received a facelift in 2013. Instead, the real and proper version will adopt plainer, simpler, less dramatic and more convenience-oriented structure which still will be able to exhibit plenty of improvements.

Finally, designed for Europe, the new small hatchback will convey pretty much the same “radical thinking and quality standards” which were possessed by Qashqai and Juke. And if it absorbs those quality characteristics in the same way, Nissan Sway is going to be just as successful as the previously mentioned models.

ED Design Torq Concept: Autonomous and with no Windows?

The Italian sports car design house ED Design has released the first teaser image of its Torq concept which is scheduled to make its first global appearance at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The company is known for its for conceptual vehicles created for brands such as Alfa Romeo, Maserati and even Ferrari! This time around, we are presented with ED Design newest project which is thought to be a two-seat racer.

The vague image doesn’t depict much but at least we have managed to gather some data. Believed to be fitted with an electric drivetrain, the racer is further considered to deliver something new to the automotive world. Interestingly enough, being as optimistic as possible, the creators of the car hope that some day in the future ED Design Torq Concept will see the bright light of its construction and will take part in one-make series. Whether or not this is possible, no one can predict from now.

Details are scarce but there is another strange fact known for sure. The supercar will be an autonomous vehicle, meaning that there won’t be the need of a driver. Additionally, the innovatively dynamic design becomes even more mysterious because of the lack of any windows… or at least this is what we can judge from the teaser.

No further details have been shared so far but to us the car seems to be just… simply… not promising enough. What is your opinion?

“La Finale” for Bugatti: Last Veyron is Already Sold!

There is no more Veyron. Unfortunately it is true, since Bugatti has just announced that it has sold the last example of world’s most powerful production supercar. It is exactly the 450^th example of the model, which is equipped with the engine famous for its 1,200 horses. The model has been one of the most wished and dreamt-of cars since its introduction ten years ago. The company had goals and they definitely achieved them, aiming high at an output of more than a thousand horsepower.

The biggest challenge for Bugatti however, wasn’t the top speed of more than 400 km/h, but the acceleration time which had to be less than three seconds. The dreams did come true for the French automaker: in 2005 it presented the Veyron 16.4, then – in 2008 the roadster Grand Sport version was introduced followed by the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport that got even more horses at hand. The last modification of the car was announced in 2012, being the open-top version of the previous and dubbed Grand Sport Vitesse.

Sixteen cylinders and exactly 1,200 hp (882 kW) next to mind-blowing torque of 1,500 Nm (1107 lb-ft) and 2.5 seconds acceleration time, point out that all goals were met. Even more, the car made a world record, achieving speed of 431.072 km/h!

All good things come to an end eventually and now the time for the closure of the last chapter in Veyron’s history has come. The 450^th example, a roadster one, has already been sold. And it is no surprise that a customer from the Middle East has bought it.

Fortunately for the fans, Bugatti will display the car (called with the dramatic name “La Finale”) at the Geneva Motor Show. As a tribute to this amazing part the model has played in automotive history, the company will also show the Veyron with chassis number 1. Both vehicles do represent collector’s items and their value will definitely exceed the average price of a Veyron, which is estimated around 2.3 million euros.

G-Power BMW M3 Gains More Horses

G-Power specialists are mostly known for their exceptional BMW tunings and it is not a secret that they prefer to work on the M series. But who wouldn’t? The buzz around them is that they have revised their supercharger program for the V8-powered M3 model, thus making it gain 20 horses. But there is more to that. This new program also counts those who have already added a supercharger system. The benefits for them are the biggest, since they can enhance the power output of their BMW to 630 hp.

The additional power is delivered via new software for the electronic engine control. As a matter of fact, the tuners developed it from the beginning and created an entirely new set of maps for the fuelling, ignition, variable-valve-timing and boost control. Due to the new configurations they also had to mind the fuel efficiency and emissions.

The complete development process for the software took about one year to be completed. But this did not include only in-house testing, but also many kilometers on the racetrack in real driving.

The result is a powerful and dynamic engine, which puts emphasis on supreme performance. Precisely, we must take into account that the standard M3 produces only 420 horsepower (309 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. The G-Power conversion system makes the 630 horses (463 kW) and the 590 Nm of torque a reality, as well as the spectacular 4.0 seconds 0-100 km/h sprint. The top speed is up to 330 km/h.

The new 20 hp can not go without new alloys. More power just needs new wheels to run on. In this case, the BMW is fitted with Diamond-Cut double spoke Hurricane RR forged alloys that are 20 inches of size. They are shod with 245/30ZR20 and 295/25ZR20 Michelins at the front and rear, respectively.

Every BMW fan would agree that if there is so much horsepower, there should be appropriate ride height modifications. The case here is no different and we have received an M3 which is 30 mm lower to the ground. The ceramic brake system is responsible for the stopping power of the car. It has 396 mm vented discs with six-pot calipers on the front axle, and 380 mm vented discs with four-pot calipers brake at the rear. Good job guys!

Only G-Class Can Beat a G-Class!

Mercedes-Benz revealed more details about the G 500 4×4² which is a model brother of the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6. Suitable for extreme condition terrains, the concept vehicle looks so powerful and domineering that even the Apocalypse wouldn’t be able to stop its march! In terms of power, it is provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that stands out with extreme delivery of horses! The unit is capable of generating 422 hp (310 kW). Mercedes stayed tight-lipped regarding any performance specifications but mentioned that the new engine would meet the Euro 6 emission standards.

Nevertheless, what we know is that the G 500 4×4² benefits from an all-wheel drive with portal axles and a returned suspension with two spring/damper struts on every wheel. The off-road capabilities are perfected thanks to the 450mm of ground clearance, a fording depth of 1000 mm and 52° and 54° angle of approach and departure.

Following the path of its sibling, Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4² receives an AMG front bumper, carbon fiber flares, a roof-mounted LED light bar, stainless steel underbody guards and an impressive side exhaust. Moreover, the aggressive look of the vehicle is further characterized by a 22-inch 325/55 R 22-sized wheels fitted with off-road tires. For those who want to use the G 500 4×4² off the beaten track, there are off-road 37×12.5×18-inch MT tires available as an option too.

Mercedes hasn’t released any images of the interior but said that the striking G 500 4×4² will impress with attractive leather seats adorned with DYNAMICA diamond-designed quilting. Additionally, there is DINAMICA trim for the roof liner and the body pillars.

According to the company, a production variant might or might not be taken into consideration, depending on the reaction which show car will receive.

Is 2016 Range Rover Evoque a Disappointment?

It is totally British, it is beautiful, it is 2016 model year and it is here! If you have read the last publication, then you’ll already know that I am talking about the brand new 2016 Range Rover Evoque. This amazing vehicle is going to have its official premiere at the Geneva Motor Show and is set to have a market launch in the US this fall. The car has kept its distinctive appeal, powerful on road presence and captivating design, which in my opinion expresses true beauty.

Well, let’s see what’s new in the Evoque. Land Rover said that it has further refined the exterior in order to give it even more unique presence. In addition, absolutely new are the headlamps featuring LED adaptive technology. Other revisions include upgrades on the front bumper, grille, bigger alloys and more.

The new LEDs and wider tow-eye cover is a significant update to the design of the front and so are the two versions of the grille. The standard one is characterized by two horizontal bars and a new pattern. The second design includes hexagonal shape and more impressive mesh.

Only the five-door HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trims get the new hood vents. At the back, we see refined tailgate spoiler which adds wider, but at the same time slimmer LED rear brake lights.

Changes can be also seen inside and they include new seats and door casings, the infotainment system is fitted with the eight-inch touchscreen and there are some changes to the materials used for the interior elements. As a standard the vehicles will come with leather Ebony seats, while the top-of-the-range trim will feature massage function for the front seats.

Unfortunately, the 2016 Evoque will be offered with only one gazoline unit, which produces 240 horsepower (176 kW).

The engine can accelerate the car from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 7.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 135mph (217km/h). If you wonder about the fuel economy – it is 30mpg/highway.

Going next to the technology additions, the new Evoque features eight-inch InControl Touch touchscreen infotainment system, eight-speaker stereo system and optional rear-seat entertainment system coming with two eight-inch video screens and wireless digital headphones. Convenience is further enhanced by the Gesture Tailgate function, which allows owners to automatically manage the tailgate by pointing a foot beneath the rear bumper.

The new SUV will be offered in four trim levels including the SE, HSE, HSE Dynamic and the flagship Autobiography. We are not sure about the precise release price of the vehicle but it is said to be announced near launch and to be comparable with the model currently on sale.

So in other words there aren’t big changes to the model, despite my expectations and wishes. This is rather a facelift than a true new dramatic design. Just remember how the Civic hatch was changed in 2006 and you’ll know what I am talking about. Land Rover is obviously playing it safe and keeping what’s trendy. I love how the Evoque looks, but next time the ultimate British brand must do something that would really impress us!
