The two companies succeeded in crafting a one – off vehicle that very impressively manages to display a person’s heartbeat integrated in its bodywork.

The unique Lexus RC F V8 coupe has adopted a number of innovative technologies in order to showcase something that we have never seen before. The human-machine connection is materialized literally. But how exactly does this happen? The first stage of the system functions by transporting the heartbeat of a connected person from a heart rate monitor to a customized electrical system featuring in the RC F.

After that, the system catches the received information, processes it and then sends an electric charge across the car’s body panels. The latter are colored in electroluminescent paint finish which is created by US-based expert Lumilor. Finally, when the electric charge moves through the original paint, it glows and shows the driver’s heartbeat via a real-time animation sequence.

Is Infiniti Q30 Premium Active Compact better than 2013 Infiniti Q30 Concept?

Infiniti Q30 Premium Active Compact There is good news for Infiniti fans as the automaker is taking down the camouflage of their unique Q30 Premium Active Compact ahead of its premiere. The Hong Kong-established luxury division of Nissan unveiled just one image, but it says enough. At least exteriorly.

The luxury hatchback arrives with an acute style, a pinch of exclusivity and a lot of driving dynamics. Despite the fact that it is envisioned as a model that somewhat “times” the swoopy lines of its predecessor, precisely Infiniti Q30 Concept, the new model still exhibits an ostensible level of edginess. And it is exactly these design cues that really distinguish the car from the crowd.

Technical data and specifics about this category-breaking vehicle are still missing. However, it won’t be a surprise if the engine of the new Infiniti will be presented in the form of a hybrid. Conventional four-cylinder powertrain is likely to be adopted too. We will wait and see.

Bentley “Blue Train” still enjoys winning competition and different events, even after 85 years since the famous victory, that created a name-legend. And now the veteran vehicle took another four prestigious awards at the Schloss Benshberg Classics event in Germany.

Now owned by Mr. Bruce McCaw, the Speed Six “Blue Train” coupe was the big star at the event, which is, in fact, one of Europe’s most prestigious classic concours shows. It was named “Best in Class: The Style of Speed”, “Best of Show: Public Vote”, “Best of Show: Jury Vote” and “Best in Special Category: Pre-War Closed Models”. But this is not the only Bentley, that participated. The Bentley S1 Continental Flying Spur (1958) took the “Driving out in Style: Four-door Luxury Sports Saloons (Post-War)”.

85 years ago, Capitain Woolf Barnato, Chairman of Bentley Motors was staying in Cannes, when he accepted a wager not only he will beat the Calais-Mediterranée Express (so called “Blue Train”) back to Calais, but he will also be the at his club in London before the train even reached the English Channel. That’s how good stories start. And, as you have already got it, the vehicle was victorious and has resonated among all Bentley enthusiasts ever since. Even the fact, that in recent years there were even some evidences to suggest, that Barnato drove his Mulliner sallon-bodied Speed 6, but what is important is that the coupe will be forever known as the Blue Train vehicle.

And to remember this historic event, Bentley Motors produced a special Limited Edition series: the Mulsanne Speed “Blue Train”. As expected, the limited vehicles are produced by skilled craftsmen at the Mulliner division. Each vehicle includes numerous historical references, but also and some modern interpretations of design.

For example, the well-known fluting pattern in the door panels and the rear quarter inserts echo the interior of the original vehicle. Furthermore, the dashboarad facia comes with nicely crafted veneer image of the original Bentley “Blue Train” Speed Six. The treadplate also had its attention. Now it bears the wording “Blue Train 85 Years” and the front grille also received some slight changes.

Beautiful car, legendary brand and a story, that created a legend. What more could we say?

Alfa Romeo 1900 Sport Spider Will Compete at the Dolomites Gold Cup

Alfa Romeo 1900 Sport Spider You might know, that Dolomites Gold Cup back in 1947 was won by Salvatore Ammendola behind the wheel of Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS. This year’s edition, staged from 23 to 27 July will witness the same vehicles, that were competing between 1947 and 1956. And of course Alfa Romeo team will also make appearance. Something more, the Italian brand will be a protagonist of the 2015 edition with the superb “1900 Sport Spider” from 1954.

To be admitted to the event, all vehicles must have been constructed between 1919 and 1961. But there are some exceptional vehicles in certain categories, constructed between 1962 and 1965. Why? Because they will have something special in their construction or because they possess particular historic interest. Just imagine the sight. The mountain roads of Dolomites, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, along with some of the most famous and beloved retro vehicles. How cool is that? In fact, the area is included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. It will surely be a magical sight to see such vehicles on such a track.

Now, let’s see what makes 1900 Sport Spider so special. The vehicle comes from the renovated Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese and recently won the “Best Car in Show” prize in the “Experience” dynamic competition. This was during the trials for the “XXIV Cesana-Sestriere Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Trophy”. The vehicle itself comes with a “1900” dry sump DOHC 4-cylinder engine, that produces a total of 138 hp (101 kW) and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h (122 mph). Its weight is just 800 kg and comes with nicely done aerodynamic body. The 1900 SS’s engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission and a De Dion rear axle: this helps the vehicle to demonstrate some wonderful performance, along with incredible flexibility.

But along with the historic Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS, there will be and another eye-catchers, that are indeed the latest Giulietta and the 4C Spider. The first one, the Giulietta is a compact sedan, that proudly demonstrates the well-known Italian elegance, while the second vehicle is brand’s ultimate expression of style and motor excellence.

2016 Buick Encore Sport Touring: Is This the Better Version?

2016 Buick Encore front Distinguishing. Attractive. Sexy. These are just some of the superlatives which can be used to describe the 2016 Buick Encore Sport Touring. Mentioning the fact that it is super comfortable just metamorphoses the SUV into a top of the range model! It is truly a car for people with character. And that includes men as well.

The new Encore Sport Touring had quite successful year in 2015 and from what we can see it seems like 2016 is going to be promising as well. Hopefully the car will exceed last year’s number of sales which went up by 29 percent for the first six months. Well done Buick!

Bentley Team M-Sport Prepares for a Touch Race

Bentley Team M-Sport is impatient and confident for the race

Bentley Team M-Sport is heading to Belgium with a single idea in mind: to win the tough challenge of 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series: the TOTAL 24 Hours of Spa. Bad for the competitors, in this case Spa doesn’t mean a hot room for relaxation, but a tough and hostile track and a 24-hours marathon. But the competitors not only will have to be as fast as possible, but also will have to get a large volume of points, given in special occasions. And this year’s event is a special for Bentley team, because they will try to be better than in the 2014 race, where the two vehicles suffered misfortune, but still managed to finish. This means, that it is time for motivation, passion and desire to win.

For the 2015 season Bentley Team M-Sport will race with four Continental GT3 vehicles: two from Bentley Team M-Sport and two by the Bentley Team HTP customer outfit. Furthermore, Bentley Team M-Sport will include drivers Guy Smith, Andy Meyric and Stevben Kane in vehicle #7, while #8 will be piloted by Maxi Buhk, Andy Soucek and Maxime Soulet.

And while the team confidently prepares for the event, there is a sold-out program to Bentley customers, that includes an on-track parade of Bentley vehicles, including the Continental GT3-R just before the start of the tough 24-hour race.

So, what’s the plan? On Thursday, 23rd of July Bentley team will have to do four sessions, that include a Free Practice, Pre-Qualifying, Qualifying and Night Qualifying. The duration of all four activities is between 1 and 1:30 hours. On the next day, the 24th of July the Bentley team will compete for the Super Pole and the race itself starts on 26th, Sunday in 16:30.

SEAT Engineers Give Tips for the Hot Weather

SEAT engineer Ángel Suárez talks about the danger of hot vehicle and how to prevent accidents

SEAT‘s engineer Ángel Suárez at the SEAT Technical Centre warns us, that it is already hot outside and it is good to follow some good examples for refreshment. He also says, that, sadly, there are just a few people out there, who follow the important tips to stay fresh and energetic in the hot days. In fact, in 9 o’clock in the morning it is already 30 degrees in Barcelona. Furthermore, meteorologists inform us, that Spain and some European countries are suffering the longest heatwave of the last 40 years! The thermometers in Zaragoza showed already 44 degrees, while the temperatures at London’s Heathrow hit the 36 degree bar. So, what are the advices of SEAT team? Let’s find out.

In fact, the high temperatures will not only damage our bodies, but it is generally dangerous for drivers. The SEAT specialists say, that when the interior temperature of a car is 35 degrees, the driver’s reaction time is 20% slower than when it is 25 degrees. This is calculated to be as dangerous as driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.5 gram per liter of blood. Imagine how dangerous the heat can be.

Furthermore, the SEAT engineer recommends “keeping the car hydrated”, as he calls it. This means to regularly check the oil levels and the coolant levels. It is a sort of keeping yourself hydrated, but applying it to your car. And Suárez continues with some tips, that you can use to prevent damage to the car or someone else. He recommends to open the window for 30 seconds before turning on the air conditioning. This will dissipate the initial blast by itself. Other advice is to put the air conditioning on the “auto” mode, so it will get evenly distributed in the passenger compartment. Other tip is not to set the temperature below 21 degrees. This will help the fuel consumption to stay low.

Along with these, the SEAT engineer also gives another types of advice. You should plan your trip and take rests regularly. At least two breaks at every two hours and of course drink a lot of liquids. You should also avoid heavy meals and some heavy clothing.

Audi Sport TT Cup Will Come With a Touch of Winter

Audi Sport TT Cup and especially its third race weekend will come with fresh winter touch. No, the event will not take place at some special mountain place. The ski superstars Felix Neureuthor (D), Marcel Hirscher (A) and Aksel Lund Svindal (N) will be on the grid at Spielberg, Austria on August 1 and 2. So, who are the winter champions and is the ski challenge the only one in their sport life. Let’s check out.

As you may know, Hirscher is currently the world’s best ski racer. For the last four years the Australian won the overall World Cup and numerous victories in the giant slalom and other slalom events. But the young champion, who is only 26 years old is also a big fan of the motor race world. He even contested a regularity race at the Red Bull Ring with Audi RS 5. At this event Hirscher had to chase a time, set in advance.

On the other hand, Neureuther has impatiently awaited the del with Hirsher for a long time now. Since the beginning of 2015, the son of ski legends Rosi Mittermaier and Christian Neureuther decided to try out some motorsport experiences.
