Chevrolet to Show Unique Red Line Series Concept Vehicles at SEMA

Chevrolet Camaro Red Line Series Concept Side View Chevrolet is obviously getting ready for the SEMA show, since it has just released six of the vehicles it is going to exhibit at the show. The themed collection highlights production and concept components, blending equal parts style and functionality. The so called Chevrolet Red Line Series concept vehicles show unique level of lifestyle and personalization options.

The Red Line team of cars is joined by the Six Gen Camaro, Trax, Malibu, Camaro, Colorado and Silverado 1500 models. They will all have a public debut at the SEMA Show, on November 3.

All of the Red Line Series concepts have in common the enhanced Silver Metallic exteriors and the custom Charcoal roof panel and Satin Graphite and red accents. Below, you will find more details about each of the models and its personalized characteristics.

Chevrolet Camaro Red Line Series Concept Details

At the event, the company will be also previewing the athletic Spark RS concept. To go directly into details, theSpark RS features a concept carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker extensions and a carbon-fiber rear-lower extension. In addition, it rides on seventeen-inch wheels, which were inspired by the Corvette Z0. The lowered suspension gives the car an aggressive stance, which perfectly complements the Dark Liquid Switchblade Silver exterior and the custom graphic accents.

Volvo Brand is About to Unveil the Time Machine Concept Car

Volvo Time Machine Concept Volvo Cars plans to announce the concept of “Time Machine” on November 18, 2015 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This machine will be compatitble with brand’s latest technology of Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) that will be part of the standard equipment for the 2016 Volvo XC90 and numerous future brand models.

Furthermore, the concept has been tweaked and restyled over the past several years at the Volvo Monitoring and Concept Center in Camarillo, California. The team has widely searched for a proper “time” concept and it looks like they have finally found it. The machine will feature next-gen hardware and software tweaks, all result of intensive and profound research on the future of automobile world.

Furthermore, Volvo will show a total of 14 new models over the next three years which are based on the recently created Scalable Product Architecture and Compact Modular Architecture. All these vehicles and the incorporated technologies will adapt more easily to individual, market and societal situations and needs. And as you might already know, Volvo brand has already showed three distinctive concept vehicles and different variations to the SPA technology based on XC90 earlier this year.

It looks like Volvo team stays strongly motivated to bring numerous and distinctive new models, contemporary solutions and next-gen technologies. And it seems that the brand confidently walks towards the target to reduce death and injuries, caused by car accidents to 0%.

Caravelle Generation Six: a Legend Reborn

2015 Caravelle Generation Six Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched a unique edition of the well-known Caravelle people carrier to honor its iconic predecessor. The modern vehicle comes with red and white two-tone exterior color scheme and has that visual stand-out, while the inside is geared with numerous inserts on the dashboard and distinctive interior components. The Caravelle Generation Six is already available to order from the Volkswagen Van Centres.

The contemporary design is inspired by the well-known two-tone pattern from the iconic 1960’s model and along it the special edition offers and some modern driving experience. The Special Edition features and 18-inch DISC alloy wheels, LED head- and taillights, front fog lights and chrome details. 2016 Honda Civic Sedan Begins its Production Today!

Honda announced the global start of mass produciton of the latest 2016 Honda Civic Sedan at Honda of Canada Mfg. Scheduled to go on sale across US and Canada in November, this 10th generation Civic Sedan is by far the most ambitious remake of the lineup for the last 40 years. Or at least, it is believed so. And considering the fact that this is Honda’s best-selling vehicle, this latest Civic model deserves some attention.

Today’s ceremony will also follow Honda’s announcement of the vast investment of $857 million over three years to boost the innovative features of production facilities in Alliston. The new Civic will be created at the Honda plant in Greensburh Indiana and will feature the latest turbo engine which is exclusively created at Anna plant, Ohio.

In fact, there are more than 9 million Civic models produced in North America since 1986, which includes 4.5 million in Canada and almost 4.5 in US. As you might know, back in 1973, the brand launched about 12 million units, 10.2 of which were sold in US and 1.9 in Canada.

Furthermore, the 10th generation Civic will include a sedan, coupe, high-performance Si model and a 5-door hatchback. And let’s not forget the Civic Type-R for the North American market. And this time, the dramatic looks will be backed up by two all-new engines, one of which is the latest Honda Turbo Engine. Sweet, right?

Alpha-N Performance and the BMW M2 Project

Alpha-N Performance BMW M2-RS Clubsport Side View Alpha-N Performance is happy to introduce not one but two BMW M2 customized cars, both sharing the RS designation. And although we didn’t receive as big pictures as we wanted, those featured in the article give rather good impression of what the highly-performance coupe might look like after the customization. The tuners thought about everything: from the external appearance and aerodynamic updates to the uprating for the engine.

Starting with the aerodynamics, the cars are more efficient than you can imagine and also feature more purposeful and athletic appearance. To achieve this result, the Alpha-N specialists have equipped the nose of the M2 with aggressively looking carbon fibre front spoiler, which includes an adjustable air splitter and updated brake-cooling vents. The lightweight material has been used for sculpted elements on the front bumper and side sills as well.

But this isn’t everything. Please do not forget the rear where we see four-position adjustable carbon-fibre rear wing, which develops varying degrees of positive downforce over the rear axle according to the chosen angle of attack. The roof is also made of carbon, and its purpose is not only aesthetical but also mass-reducing one.

At the four corners of the BMW M2 we see brand new 19-inch OZ Superforgiata wheels shod with 245/35R19 and 265/35R19 tyres at the front and rear, respectively. And if you have carefully looked at the pictures then you’ll definitely spot the lowering. It has been made possible with the help of fully adjustable coil-over suspension.

Under the hood sleep the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, that produces nothing less than 370 hp (275 kW) as a standard. But thanks to the Alpha-N Performance EVOX Multi-channel Chip-tuning Box and the water-injection kit, the output has been raised to 480 hp (353 kW)!

The green variant of the M2 is actually Alpha-N Performance Clubsport version of the M2-RS. If you ask about the differences from the “civilian”, they include the fitment of lightweight race seats, and either a half or full roll cage. So, which one would you chose?

Performmaster Mercedes-AMG C63 (S) Receives Significant Power Uprating

Performmaster Mercedes-AMG C63 is the second tuning that we have chosen for you today. It again features the famed German brand, but this time under the spotlight is the sportier AMG C63 model. The main changes here have been done with the aim to achieve more power for the athlete.

To be more precise, Performmaster has created a PEC tuning module for the C63 and C63 S AMG models. After the tuning, these cars show significant power update of up to 612 hp (450 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) of torque. Of course, this helps shorten the acceleration time from 0 to 100 kph from 4.1 seconds to 3.8 and from 0 to 200 kph from 12.7 to 11.4.

If you take a look of the standard numbers, where the AMG C 63 scores 476 hp (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft), and the AMG C63 S (510 hp (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), this means that the uprating is more than additional 28% hp and 29% Newton meters.

In addition, the serial top speed of both models with included Driver’s Package only reaches between 280 and 290 kph. Performmaster has ensured that the Vmax reaches 310 kph.

And if you liked what you have just read, but you have only the AMG GT (S), you needn’t worry, because the tuning company has a special PEC tuning module for this model. Precisely, it helps the Mercedes produce 612 hp (450 kW).

VÄTH Creates More Powerful Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG

VÄTH Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG Side View VÄTH has chosen the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG for their new project. The experts have basically uprated the engine of the Mercedes and given it some new tweaks regarding aerodynamics and exterior. And everything has been done for the sake of faster speed, more qualitative ride and better driving dynamics. Here are the details:

Engine Uprating

Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG’s 1,991 cm³engine produces 360 HP (265 kW) as a standard. After the tuning it can proudly show-off with 395 HP (290 kW) of power and 485 Nm (358 lb-ft) of torque. The top speed has been raised to 280 kmph (174 mph).

So far so good, but if you are not satisfied with these numbers, then you should also know that the tuning company is offering power uprating kit called V45RS. If you buy it, then your GLA will generate no less than 446 HP (328 kW) of power and 539 Nm (398 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

Exhaust and More

Additional power is delivered by the VA stainless steel down pipe device 270 EVO with 200 cells trimetal cat as well as the VA stainless steel made valve controlled axle back exhaust system. Furthermore, the GLA 45 AMG also received lowering by 30 mm thanks to the addition of sportive lowering springs.

The brakes were optimized with steel flex tubes, SRF racing brake fluid and the obligatory vehicle type. Of course, more the power better the wheels. Precisely, the standard ones were substituted with 20-inch VÄTH black, high gloss alloys.

VÄTH also offers a gearbox oil cooler set for automatic gearboxes, while for the exterior the tuners have prepared carbon made front spoiler lip, rear diffusor and trunk spoiler lip. For the cabin, there is optionally available sports steering wheel in leather design, aluminum pedals, and set of black velvet foot mats with silver colored VÄTH logo.

In other words, this is a very nice project with simple modifications, but very effective.

BMW M2 Coupe has Begun Its Production Today!

BMW plant in Leipzig today launched the production of the latest and greatest 2016 BMW M2 Coupe. The production covers both BMW 2 Series Coupe and Converible, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the BMW 1 Series 5-door. And thanks to the intensive and flexible hard work, the latest M2 coupe will be integrated in existing plat ideal structure. The total production in Leipzig plant is currently about 750 vehicles per day. This number includes the added i8 daily over 100 BMW i3 and BMW over 20.

In fact, the BMW Group plant blends the importance of flexible production of new vehicles with the start of the production the latest M2 Coupe series. Furthermore, Leipzig plant is the only production plant of BMW Group that manufactures vehicles the core brand BMW, BMW i and BMW M models. And now, the new BMW M2 Coupe will replace the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, which was also built back in 2011 and 2012 in this very same plant.

As we have told you, the latest M2 Coupe model catches the eye with the latest M TwinPower Turbo technology, the recently developed three-liter straight six-cylinder engine that produces a total of 370 hp (272 kW) and 465 Nm that can be overboosted up to 500 Nm. And adding the dual-clutch transmission, this sweetie really deserves its attention.

Lexus has launched the marketing campaign for the restyled 2016 Lexus LX 570, the sport utility vehicle that blends luxury with off-road flexibility.

The LX will go head-to-head in a friendly competition with Lexus’ flagship vehicle, the LS Sedan and will climb a mountain in the Austrian Alps. And while the LS will demonstrate flexibility and precision, the LX, on the other hand, will use its off-road capabilities to climb straight up the mountain. In fact, both vehicles finish the race simultaneously, but have dramatically different approach. We leave it for you to witness them. In fact, it is interesting that both vehicles arrive at the destination at the same time. This also demonstrates their capabilities and character.

The whole campaign will be integrated into broadcast, digital, print and out-of-home media. Meet 669 HP Porsche 911 Turbo S Powered by O.CT Tuning

2015 O.CT Porsche 911 Turbo S Front View O.CT Tuning’s Porsche 911 Turbo S is stronger, faster and more devious than it has ever been. The reason: the forceful Stage 2 power uprating, delivered by the customizer. The impressive performance graphics show a significant gain in terms of power and torque. It is now 669 hp (492 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque.

Compared to the serial numbers, which are 520 hp (382 kW) HP and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft), the new addition of force has been measured on the company own high tech test stand.

Furthermore, there are also other technical details, besides software uprating. These include adaptation of the gearbox control software, two exhaust gas turbo chargers with variable geometry turbo charger (VGT), two modified air suction systems, a couple of charge air coolers, a sports filter and an exhaust system which produces audible sound.

Of course, after the power improvement, we also expect better Vmax, which is now 335 kmph/208 mph. The new exceptional driving values are also something O.CT specialists should be proud of: 2.77 seconds (0 up to 100 kmph/60 mph), 9,32 seconds (0 up to 200 kmph/120 mph).

You should also note that these particular numbers have been achieved over a Stage 1 power uprating for the 911 Turbo S, which brings It closer to the 603 hp (443 kW) with 830 Nm (613 lb-ft).
