2017 Vilner Brabus MINI Vilner team does not stop to impress us. Even the teasers and the announcements drive us crazy! Definitely one of the most prominent, if not the most prominent Bulgarian tuner, the team showcases a bit of the upcoming tuning project: a special SMART vehicle that has first undergone a comprehensive tuning program by BRABUS and then Vilner team decided to build on that already impressive base.

There is a single video that demonstrates what the project would look like: a passionate blend between white and light green, all along with innovative and definitely impressive additions. Along with the beautiful lady, we can see a bit of the interior: as it seems, there are numerous green inserts that not only resemble the exterior styling, but also add some kind of sporty, yet stylish and comfortable ambience. We definitely have noticed these neat sport seats, redesigned wheel and tons of utility gadgets. It would be a pleasure even to look at a picture of an interior as this one.

We definitely like the overall styling idea: the green stripes on the exterior, enhanced by square graphics, the two-tone wheels that contribute to the sporty appearance and of course, the enhancement of the cabin. And of course, we would be pleased to see more of the lady herself.

Wimmer Takes a Closer Look at a Mercedes-AMG Machine: The Result is Simply Imressive

2017 Wimmer Mercedes-Benz C 63 Wimmer. It almost sounds as a Winner. And behaves like one! Wimmer Rennsporttechnik in Solingen has proven itself as one of the best and most comprehensive tuners for the past 25 years. And even after a quarter of decade of dominating, the team does not stop impressing the audience: whether clients want a complex compressor upgrade, comprehensive exhaust system or chip tuning, Wimmer will have the job done.

And now the crew proudly showcases it’s latest project: a fine-tuned and optimized Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG S. This machine has undergone some comprehensive revision procedure and numerous alterations. Let’s start with the drivetrain system, shall we? The original Mercedes-AMG system delivers a total of 510hp (375kW) and 700Nm, which was simply considered as simply not enough. Now, the revised drivetrain system is capable of delivering a total of 801hp (589kW) and the massive 900Nm of torque. Impressive, isn’t it?

Further improvements include revised turbo charger, nozzles and fuel pump. There was a new water pomp installed and an exclusive stainless steel exhaust system. Of course, muscular system as this one is nothing without some stability and handling upgrades. Drivers will benefit from a revised KW coilover suspension version 3, wheel-tire-combination of BBS rims in 9×20 with 245/30-20 tires on the front axle and 10×20 with 265/20-30 on the rear axle and a Y-pipe with sporty catalystic features. Neat.

Of course, there are also some neat stylish changes: the vehicle showcases a neat green finish, with a large WIMMER banner on both sides. Also notable is the black/green race flag that adds a kick to that overall sporty appearance of the vehicle.

At the end, we do like this project. The thing that we loved the most is that Wimmer team did not hide these classic and notable Mercedes-AMG features. It only made them more expressive and decided to contribute with its own signature in such a delicate way that it is almost impossible to say that this particular Mercedes-AMG vehicle is complete without the Wimmer touch.

How it’s done: luxurious and elegant interior. By Vilner

2017 Vilner Lamborghini Huracan Not once or twice have we admitted that Italians have neat taste about things. Food, fashion, cars. You name it! Of course, Italian vehicles are in leading position, as it come to styling: they are sexy! Even the names that they give sound super cool! As our friends from Vilner have noticed: even something like “a four-wheel-vehicle” sounds neat – Quattroporte.

However, there are some who want even more. A guy bought himself a neat 2016 Huracan machine and not long after he realized that the interior is simply boring. And the most disappointing thing was that a revision and upgrade by Lamborghini team is super expensive and many find it not worthy. Luckily, Vilner crew is always here for you!

As always, they have done some magnificent interior work: all the details in the cockpit fully resemble the exterior baldness and elegance. The most notable thing about this project is that designers have chosen the “stitching-less” approach.

The second notable feature is the “double contrast”: it is achieved by adding the same Verde Mantis color in the cabin and combining it once with the black covers and second time with the organic appearance of these inserts on the exterior. Sweet. There are also some features that are not only style-oriented, but also bring a pinch of utility. Such are the new Vilner paddles that contribute to the overall luxury feel, but also prevent driver’s knees from injuries, due to making them super soft.

In fact, the steering wheel has received some notable update: it features carbon components, perforated high-quality leather and of a pinch of green. Of course, all is done with a razor-sharp precision. Lucky is the one, who will spend time in this cabin.

Ferrari Unveil Their Most Powerful Supercar to Date

2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast Ferrari has never failed to impress over the years, but the new 812 Superfast could have just set the bar even higher. The new 12-cyclinder engine is able to produce an output of 800 CV (8,500 RPM) which exceeds what the original F12 Berlinetta was capable of.

To achieve this, engineers at Ferrari had to work on increasing the amount of air that could be drawn into the engine and this has helped build a much more efficient engine. Aerodynamics was also a major focus when designing the 812 Superfast. Without question, these changes have clearly paid off in terms of the car’s performance statistics. With a top speed of 340kph and the ability to reach 0-100kph in only 2.9 seconds, this is quite unbelievable considering that the 812 Superfast does not look like some ‘zooped up’ racing car. Just making a machine of this nature road legal is an achievement in itself.

One of the more interesting features, in fact, is the new electric powered steering system which has again, helped to improve the overall driving experience. More specifically, the new steering system allows for greater agility on the road and a quicker response time to steering wheel movements.

In terms of exterior design, the 812 Superfast looks simply magnificent. Ferrari has been able create a more elegant shape but at the same time has been successful in retaining that imposing look which Ferrari has always had. With the V12 engine positioned at the front, this has given the car a beautifully elongated bonnet, much like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Ferrari California. The extra focus on aerodynamics has also created more muscular wheel arches, only adding to its dominating presence on the road.

The 812 superfast made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland and is said to have stolen the show at this year’s event. There have been, however, a few comments about the name of the model with some people saying the name sounds slightly childish, but this is unlikely to stop the 812 Superfast from being another success story in Ferrari’s books. Already, the car is in high demand from those who can afford the hefty price tag of £241,000.

Here we go again: Lotus presents “The Best Elise So Far!” Check it out!

2017 Lotus Elise Cup 250 And here we are starting all over again: we are presenting the so-called “best Elise so-far”. Now, where have we heard that before? Ah, yes, with the revealing of the last 3-4 Lotus vehicles. However, this latest machine has a lot to demonstrate, and being completely honest here, it is impressive. The thing is that we have had enough of dealing with “the best so-far” slogan every single time.

So, what do we have here? A sweetie called Lotus Elise Cup 250 that offers rather comprehensive performance rates: it develops a total of 243hp (181kW), super-responsive handling and incredible aerodynamics. All these improvements and additions contribute to a total of 125 kilos of downforce and a top speed of 252 km/h (140mph). We have definitely seen far more powerful and faster vehicles, but this one has also a lot to demonstrate. So, let’s waste no more time and see what makes this vehicle “the best Elise so far”!

As any other Lotus vehicle, this one is pure eye candy. It looks sexy, confident and muscular at the same time. While being somehow compact, this machine gives off masculinity: all these sporty features do make the difference. And not only, as it comes to incredible performance rates, but also purely visually. However, the most notable additions and changes are the redesigned lightweight front panel that features radiator apertures and mesh pattern grille, refreshed rear-end that now proudly shows only two light clusters, instead of the usual four and somehow cleaner, yet appealing design.

There is also a touch of luxury all along the sporty features. The Elise Cup 250 features elegant handcrafted cabin that features in-house created carbon race seats, covered in fine Alcantara, a steering wheel also covered in Alcantara, numerous small components that not only contribute to utility and driver convenience, but also add a bit of stylish kick. Long story short, Lotus designers have managed to combine all these useful and elegant goodies with sporty-oriented gadgets in a simply perfect manner. Sweet.

Drivetrain system

Now we are talking! This time the engineering team has focused on delivering race capabilities via dramatically reducing body weight and boosting performance as much as possible. The result is quite impressive: the dry weight is reduced to 884kg. Credit should take all the lightweight carbon-fiber, titanium and aluminum components.

All these 243hp are generated via an all-alloy 1.8-liter power unit that also allow the vehicle to reach 0-100km/h (0-62mph) acceleration in mere 3.9 seconds. Neat! Of course, there are numerous more systems that also contribute to this impressive final result: heavily revised six-speed manual gearbox, lithium-ion battery, carbon-fiber race seats, ultra-lightweight alloy wheels and more.

All buyers will be pleased to know that there are some sweet personalization options: for example, they can order the Carbon Aero Pack that ads composite front splitter, rear wing and side boards that not only contribute to the overall sexy styling, but also save a total of 3.7 kilos of the overall body weight.

Developed by Lotus Design team, the programme has one goal: to inspire customers to tailor their own vehicle in such a way that is most conventional to them and add to the uniqueness of the vehicle itself. Let’s check out what so special with Corvette’s aerodynamic features, shall we?

C7 Corvette to Use Active Aerodynamic System

In the early half of the year, General Motors has filed an application to patent the new innovative active aerodynamics system, which will be found in the next generation of C7 Corvette. Though pictures of prototypes have been leaked by various spy photographs, it is still unsure whether or not the system will arrive with the C7 Corvette ZR1 in 2018.

What does the active aerodynamics system patent entail?

Patents need a detailed account of the innovation. Thus, we already have details of the C7 Corvette active aerodynamics. Insiders say that aside from submitting the basic layout, General Motors has also tested some prototypes.

The patent, filed on the 23rd of March 2017, states that it is for a “vehicle ride-height determination” to control the vehicle’s aerodynamics. The system will adjust the active aerodynamic components of the vehicle according to the changes of the body in relation to the wheels’ center.

Elements involved in this technology include an adjustable spoiler, splitter, air dam, shutter, and diffuser. These elements will adjust according to what data is fed into the system. However, it is not yet clear whether all of these pieces will be used in the production application of the active aerodynamic system, or they will simply cover the bases with the patent.

The patent further specifies that the controller has a look-up table that can establish a correlation between the tire deflection and road wheel, and the body height of the vehicle. The height of the vehicle is cross-checked against its reference frame. The look-up table is used to determine the tire deflection.

Moreover, the system features a program that can vary the adjustable aerodynamic-aid component’s position. In other words, it can control the movement of the airflow in accordance with the vehicle’s body.

How different is the new active aerodynamics system?

From the looks of the basic layout, it’s clear that Corvette is taking the game to the next level. In contrast to regular active aerodynamics, GM’s system attempts to compensate performance that is upset by suspension or overloaded tires. Regular active aero only adjusts the shutter and wing’s position in accordance with the vehicle’s speed or the brake and throttle. However, GM’s system is a more sophisticated version of it.

What evidence do we have of the new active aerodynamics system?

A C7 Corvette ZR1 prototype has been spotted in Michigan. This prototype has smaller wings and a spoiler that’s detached from the rear deck and is mounted on the top of the hatch’s opening instead. However, previous prototypes, like the one spotted in Nurburgring, presented different designs, so it is unsure which one of them is closest to the final active aerodynamics system.

Final Thoughts

There are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding C7 Corvette’s active aerodynamics system. What’s clear as of the moment is that General Motors is planning to launch the new model with the new system in 2018. Since GM is extra careful with information about the patented system, it seems like we have to wait until then.

DTE Tuning Enhances the Already Mighty 2016 BMW 750d xDrive Machine!

This time the skillful engineers have chosen the powerful BMW 750d xDrive for their latest upgrade project. In fact, this is the most powerful six-cylinder diesel machine in the world. So, what do we have here?

he already super-powerful 400hp (298kW) and 760Nm BMW now features a neat DTE Plug&Play performance chip that adds additional 47hp and 123Nm of torque. Of course, pure power was not the only desired final result. This installation has tons of features: for example, the throttle response is optimized, a neat PedalBox+ is installed and the overall acceleration rates are improved with a total of 10%. Sweet.

Furthermore, the vehicle receives all other advantages that DTE Systems offer: incredible balance between driving dynamics and reliability, maintained safety features, unaffected main control systems, supplied cables and connectors in OEM quality and this overall guarantee for a high-quality tuning.

Maybe this is why we see stock BMW looks: with all the clean lines, slight curves, menacing stance and overall super badass appearance. Audi TT Roadster by Vilner. Astonishing.

2017 Vilner Audi TT Roadste There was this special guy who wanted to attract the attention of Vilner team. Long story short, he succeeded. Short story long, here’s what happened. The owner of this particular 1998 Audi TT considers the vehicle a special one in his life and therefore he wanted to grant it with something unique. His idea was to tune and tweak the design of the Audi in such a way that the original appearance is still present, but enhanced in a certain way.

And here’s where the challenge laid: the comparison of the interior and the exterior styling of a cabrio machine is inevitable. After all, one can easily notice all the details from the outside and inside the vehicle in a matter of a second. So, how did Vilner team solvethis issue? Let’s find out!

The design team applied a blue theme in the cockpit. There is fine Alcantara that covers the seats and doors, that perfectly fit the blue seatbelts and all this contrast stitching. In fact, the steering wheel has received some special attention: it was not only covered in this very same Alcantara fabric, but also it was heavily revised: it is smaller and more ergonomic.

Furthermore, the central console is covered in soft brown, while the space between the two seats is covered in fine leather also in brown. The thing that caught our attention is this TT badging on the seats: these details are discrete and super stylish. Just in the style of Vilner. And in order to enhance the already luxurious atmosphere, all plastic covers and details are covered in fine leather. Sweet.

Also, there are some exterior tweaks that Vilner team decided to add: new LED headlights, black Vilner signature on the left side of the vehicle and some color tweaks on the back-end.

Definitely sexy. And definitely appealing.

Wheelsandmore reveals the heavily revised McLaren 570 GT

2017 Wheelsandmore McLaren 570 GT So, Wheelsandmore team manage to refine one more McLaren machine. You do remember the P1, MP4-12C and the 675LT? Of course you do. And here we are reviewing one more of these beauties. Personally tweaked by the skilled hands of Wheelsandmore engineers.

This McLaren 570GT is a powerful and confident vehicle by itself. However, there are people who do want even more. And these people have brought us a fine and extremely advanced sports car that impresses both with character and performance capabilities. The stock V8 with a total of 650hp and 700Nm has been heavily revised in order to deliver the final 650hp (485kW) and 700Nm. This notable result is achieved by installing sporty catalytic converters and adding a special, exclusive low-pressure exhaust system. Of course, these additions requre a dedicated software. One such was delivered and contributes to a super-fast sprint of 3.1 seconds for reaching 0-100km/h. Sweet.

Also worth mentioning is the suspension system. The advansed springs not only contribute for more stable and confident track behavior, but also show off with special lift function. This makes it possible for the vehicle to avoid damage to the front spoiler and underbody. Handy, isn’t it?

Of course, this is an eye-catcher. All McLaren vehicles strike with extremely sexy design and this one is not excluded from the list. The cool thing is that Wheelsandmore team have managed to tweak the looks in a pretty elegant way: they have kept the stock design and have added just a bit of exclusive features in order to enhance the original appearance. As you might have noticed already, the most prominent addition are the handmade forged rims. These are lightweight forged goodies that are wrapped by 235/30/20 and 295/30/21 ContiSportContact 6 tires. Sweet.

2017 G-POWER BMW M3 GT2 S HURRICANE And here we are reviewing one more badass mahine. Bold, menacing and beautiful, this G-POWER M3 GT2 S HURRICANE model is ready for some track action. Of course, the engineering team has included tons of features and upgrades, so we would waste no more time and start exploring the lucky M3 vehicle.

Exterior design

This vehicle is beautiful, no doubt in that. We see all these classic BMW lines and curves that are blended with some exclusive G-POWER features. The first thing that one notices about the vehicle is its color: a vivid orange body finish that enhances the sporty nature and also contributes to this aggressive and unique styling.

The second thing that people would instantly recognize is the wide carbon-fiber wide body kit. This one is not just stylish and sexy: it also reduces the overall vehicle weight and provides it with large air intakers. Furthermore, this addition also contributes to improved downforce and therefore driving stability.

There are also lightweight forged 19-inch competition grade alloy wheels, wrapped by 295/30ZR19 and 325/30ZR19 trackday Cup tyres. Right next to them there is a special braking system installed: ceramic brake discs, along with six and four-pot callipers ensure tight and stable decelerating force. Sweet.

The cockpit is pretty straigthforward. You would’t expect something different form a race-focused machine, would you? It is clean and super driver-oriented. There is a full rollover cage, sound insulation material and of course all these well-known features: sporty seats, dedicated dashboard and special wheel. In fact, the most interesting part about the interior is that it is entirely dominated by special Alcantara leather. It is literally everywhere: on the roof, dashboard, steering wheel. Nice, isn’t it?

Now we are talking! The heart of the beast is a mighty V8 engine that was further heavily revised. In fact, it was completely disassembled and enforced with lightwegit forged components that not only reduce the overall wegith, but also contribute to even more power and better performance ratings. It generates a total of 720hp (529kW) and 650Nm of torque. Or, in other words, this machine is capable of finishing a 0-200km/h sprint in mere 9.8 seconds and develop a top speed of 330km/h. Neat!

There is also a dedicated supercharger system installation, revised shock absorber system and tons of small improvements and upgrades that altogether make big difference.

And for the last 15-20 years all SUV manufacturers have proven that this segment is not only appealing, but has also stood the test of time. We won’t be telling you one more time how cool this machine is. What we will do instead is tell you a story of a tuning studio that was not impressed with the stock model and dared to ask for more. From itself. Indeed, we are talking about SPEED-BUSTER team and their latest tuning project. This time the lucky vehicle is a mid-2015 SQ7 vehicle with a bi-turbo 4.0-liter diesel power unit with 435hp/320kW and 900Nm of torque.

What this sweetie has undergone is just astonishing: SPEED-BUSTER team has the opportunity to add more power and increase the overall road performance, stability and vehicle confidence. The final projects adds a kick of 84hp and 138Nm of power that altogether result in a total of 519hp/1,038Nm. Massive, isn’t it?

Also, there is an exclusive Multi-Channel Chiptuning-Box Plus thing that gets the data of all the sensors, proceeds the information in real-time and forwards it towards the ECU. This, in other words, means 15 per cent improved fuel efficiency. Sweet.
