2016 BMW X1 to be Offered with 5 and 7 Seats

The next-generation BMW X1 is close to its completion but all we can see for now is a camouflaged version of it. Judging by the latest spy photos, the new BMW model is going to be introduced in 5- and 7-seat versions. Still, the compact seven-seater will be only offered in USA, Russia and China.

Interestingly enough, the new X1 will adopt a highly evolutionary design while under the hood it will receive a UKL1 platform. The same engine line-up is the heart and the soul of several MINI models and is also fitted in the new 2-Series Active Tourer.

In relation to this, the 2016 BMW X1 lineup will be revealed with three- and four-cylinder engines, in gasoline and diesel variants. The most powerful among these versions is expected to be a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit which will be able to produce about 231 HP. The two 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engines are said to generate 150 and 184 HP respectively.

What is more, there is going to be a standard six-speed manual transmission as well as an eight-speed automatic option with paddle shifters. Front-wheel drive will be standard but some models will be available with an xDrive all-wheel drive system as an option.

O.CT Tuning Updates Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 to 630HP

O.CT Tuning has been focusing recently on the performance optimization of a Chevrolet Stingray and a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. The tuners are specialists in software optimization via the OBD-II interface and they have shown how one can create magic with it. Of course, the case of these two vehicles is no different. They have been individually finely tuned thus delivering maximum performance. The aftermarket power boost for the Corvette is also a result of the joint work of O.CT and Edelbrock. The latter company has provided the Chevy with additional intercooler system for the additional horsepower.

The production top-less Stingray is powered by supercharged LT V8 6.2-liter engine, which (unchanged) delivers more than enough amount of power: 455 hp (339 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of maximum. What is more, it can be ordered with an optional performance exhaust system pushing the output to 460 hp (343 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm).

Stock’s top of the range version, Z06 can show even more: it generates 650 hp (448 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft). But if you don’t want to pay for the range topping model, you can just get the power update offered by O.CT Tuning. The specialists have endowed the Chevy with 630 hp (463 kW) and 810 Nm (598 lb-ft) of torque.

The same thing happened to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 6.4. Its production output was 468 hp (344 kW) and 624 Nm (460 lb-ft) and after the ECU remapping, compressor kit and upgrades to the intercooler, it have grown to 564 hp (414 kW) HP /735 Nm (542 lb-ft). Optionally, there is a stainless steel exhaust systems with valve control, which can be connected both cars by pressing a button. More options are the trolleys and wheels up to dimension of 22 inches.

2015 Toyota RAV4 is Perfect for Business People

The famous SUV family of Toyota has welcomed another member named RAV4 Business Edition. With such specific name, the target customers of the model is pretty much obvious. Mysterious Toyota RND Concept to Debut Next Week

Do you know what will happen next week? We just received the news that Toyota will reveal to the world a mysterious new model called RND Concept. Along with the announcement the company also released the first teaser image and some details. What we know so far that the car will debut in the United Kingdom on 26^th January, instead of at international motor show. The picture does not say much either, but it hints at how the design of RND will mark a radical shift in company’s direction.

Toyota said that the exterior appearance of the car will take the “fun-to-drive” qualities of the cars to a higher level. Although the car will be presented as a concept, it is in a completely production-ready form.

And if we can to trust the official data, the Japanese brand also disclosed that the car is ready for fast-track development and that it will change the face of motoring. Manufacturing and product supply have been secured already, while the on-the-road pricing has been fixed at a level that will make the RND Concept accessible to many people.

Toyota sounds pretty confident that the design of the RND Concept will impact other car ranges. It has the potential to transform the look of every vehicle on the road and to make a valuable contribution to the world we live in.

MINI One First 5 Door Arrives with 75 HP

The world of MINI is enriched by a MINI One First 5 door model with a completely newly developed entry-level engine! Production is set to start on March this year.

Power arrives from a 1.2-liter TwinPower Turbo 3-cylinder engine with variable camshaft control on the intake and exhaust side (double VANOS). It is capable of generating 75 HP (55 kW) and a peak torque of 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) at 1,400 rpm which is enough for the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 13.4 seconds.

The power unit is matched to a newly developed 6-speed manual transmission that delivers reduced weight, better efficiency rates and ultimate shift comfort. The average fuel consumption of the MINI One First 5 door is 5.2 liter per 100 km while CO2 emission level is that of 121 gr/km.

Since MINI is all about practicality and convenience, the feeling of a good driving experience is achieved thanks to the extra doors and the extended by 72 mm wheelbase too. The three seats at the rear and the huge luggage compatibility is a combination which also guarantees comfort while traveling.

Finally, because of the addition of the recently-created 1.2-liter unit, the engine portfolio of MINI is expanded to four petrol and three diesel engines which cover an output range of 75 HP (55 kW) to 192 HP (141 kW).

Jaguar’s Exclusive New Model is Dubbed XF R-Sport Black

Jaguar XF has been extended with the brand new trim level dubbed R-Sport Black. In addition, Jaguar will not disappoint customers because there are a lot of improvements featured in the already known trim packages. All models in the XF saloon and Sportbrake range get the Winter Comfort Pack and Parking Pack as standard, which means nothing else but added comfort of heated seats and windscreen plus front parking sensors and a rear camera. The Portfolio, Diesel S Portfolio, XFR and XFR-S trims benefit from Blind Spot Monitor as standard and some of the models also get updated alloys.

The specifications changes in the Luxury trim level include Gloss Dark Oak veneer and 18” Manra wheels. Next to the same veneer, the R-Sport version gets as a standard the 380w Meridian Audio system. They will be running on 19” Grey Aquila wheels.

The XF R-Sport Black can show-off with wide 20” Black Kalimnos alloys and a brand new 770w Meridian Surround Sound system. This model is powered by the 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which produces 200 hp (147 kW).

Inside, the new trim model benefits from full bond-grain leather upholstery and 18way Sports seats with memory function. Customers can chose from five no-cost paint colours, including the Kyanite Blue (which is limited to just 100 units), Italian Racing Red, Glacier White, Ultimate Black and Stratus Grey.

The luxurious Portfolio spec has added Parking Pack, Blind Spot Monitor, 380w Meridian system and 19” Artura wheels as standard equipment. There is an options list which includes 20” Hydra and Silver Draco alloys. On the other hand, the Diesel S Portfolio benefits from Suedecloth headliner, metallic paint and the 770w Meridian Surround Sound system, full Parking Aid Pack and Blind Spot Monitor.

At the top of the range are the XFR and XFR-S trims, which come as a standard with Rear View Camera and Blind Spot Monitor. The XFR also adds stainless steel pedals, Speed Pack and Red Brake Calipers.

Mitsubishi Introduces Outlander GX5h and GXhs PHEV Models

The most popular SUV in Mitsubishi’s range is undeniably the Outlander. This fact probably stimulates the company to make various versions of it and expand its range. There are two new additions to the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle: the GX5h and GX5hs. Externally the models have some new tweaks that need to be mentioned. Subaru Outback Has ‘Second Pair of Eyes’ for the Driver

There are exactly six model versions offered for the new 2015 Subaro Outback. Each pf them can be equipped with either of one engines coupled with manual or Lineartronic transmission. The fifth-generation model also gets new exterior design tweaks and technologies which care about occupants’ safety. In terms of appearance the new model looks a bit more rugged. At the front the bumper includes an integrated hexagonal grille and hawk-eye headlights.

The interior received the significant changes mainly through the use of new materials of higher quality. The cabin has also been made more spacious and comfortable and now includes more standard infotainment and sat nav systems.

Speaking of the “internals” of the vehicle, the engine range consists of two units. The first one is the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel, which generates 150 hp (110 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The other one is the naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre petrol unit that has power and torque outputs of 165 hp (121 kW) and 235 Nm (173 lb-ft) respectively.

The diesel engine can be coupled with either a six-speed manual transmission or the Lineartronic (CVT) transmission, while the petrol engines are exclusively matched with Lineartronic. Trim levels are two – SE and SE Premium, and when combined with one of the engines and transmission options, the total model variant range expands to six.

The SE models get as a standard automatic LED headlamps and headlamp washers, cruise control, Active Torque Vectoring, 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, electrically-adjustable driver’s seat and privacy glass. The 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also standard and includes satellite navigation, audio, smartphone connectivity and a rear view parking camera.

Those who have chosen SE model with petrol engine will also get emissions-reducing start-stop system and Subaru Intelligent Drive. And for those opting for SE Premium trim, they will get the additional sunroof, keyless entry and push-button start, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather seats and a powered rear tailgate.

Safety systems are now enhanced with the addition of the EyeSight safety assist. This is literally a ‘second pair of eyes’ for the driver. This technology is there to help drivers prevent collisions. It employs two colour camera technology to monitor the road and traffic ahead for potential hazards, and comes as a standard.

2015 Subaru Outback is scheduled to go on sale in the UK from 1^st of April with a starting price of £27,995.

Soon after the dealer premiere of the new Volkswagen Passat B8, Streetec presented their air-ride system for this mid-sized model. The air suspension specialists manage to give the car optimized handling and more ride-advantages.

With the selection of Oxigin Ox18 Concave alloys, Streetec succeeded in inserting a fresh tone into the sturdy but rather boring character of the 2015 Passat B8. And thanks God we have them otherwise looking at the car would be the same as staring at the wall – boring and a waste of time! McLaren 650S Le Mans: When History Cannot Be Forgotten

Quoting McLaren Automotive, “every one of the 106 models of the McLaren F1 built has a story to tell.” A story which often begins with „Do you remember the time when…“ and continues with the reveal of a memory of something that deserves to be fixed and preserved in time.

Twenty years after the the chequered flag was waved at the end of the 1995 race, five McLaren F1 GTR monsters crossed the line, winning 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 13th place. Marking this impressive achievement, five special editions of the McLaren F1, named the McLaren F1 Le Mans, are commissioned. Of course, each one of them is signifying the cars that finished back then.

The special edition of McLaren will be powered by the familiar 3.8-liter twin turbo V8 engine which will still produce unchained 641 HP and 678 Nm (500 lb ft) of peak torque. This run from 0 to 62 mph is achieved in 3 seconds, while the top speed is that of 207 mph.

With a design inspired by the race-winning #59 McLaren F1 GTR, the McLaren 650S Le Mans will inherit many of the iconic race-winner characteristics. For example, the anniversary car will feature the notable roof-mounted ‚‘snorkel‘ air intake and wing louvers. Combining the incredible tone of the 1995 car with a slightly modernized twist, the 650S Le Mans becomes an example of excellence and uniqueness.

Of course, there are updated components which further shape the presence of the limited edition model. Some of the carbon fiber features include: front splitter and rear bumper but there are also MSO-developed extended side blades and the distinctive MSO rear diffuser. The exterior of the F1 Le Mans has metallic Sarthe Grey paint color which is borrowed from the color of the race-winning McLaren F1 GTR. For additional exclusiveness there is a ‘Le Mans’ logo adorning the wheels and the trailing edge of the door blades. What is more, one-of-a-kind ‘Le Mans Edition’ lightweight wheels – 19-inch at the front, 20-inch at the rear – are fitted around the design of the motorsport rims used on the 1995 racers.

Inside, the car has black leather and Alcantara upholstery, with a pair of sports seats in black finish and contrasting McLaren Orange Alcantara in the center. Not betraying its nature, the automaker embosses another ‘Le Mans’ logo on the headrest of each seat, as well as on the floor mats.

Limited to 50 units only, the 2015 McLaren 650S Le Mans is priced at £244,500. Deliveries will begin in mid-2015.

2015 Lexus NX 200t Benefiting From a New 2.0-liter Turbocharged Engine

Lexus is stepping beyond any boundaries and is bravely moving forward like no other crossover until this very day. The new Lexus NX 200t F Sport will be the first lucky one to be equipped with the automaker‘s new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which will allow the vehicle to overcome all kinds of urban challenges that stay between the car and its final destination.

Developed in-house, the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection pushes out 235 HP (175 kW) between 4,800 and 5,600 rpm, with a maximum torque of 350 Nm delivered at 1,650 rpm. Official combined cycle figures for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption are 183 g/km and 35.8 mpg respectively. The 1,998cc unit is bolted to a brand-new six-speed automatic transmission with a Drive Mode Select system. Cornering stability and traction are maximized thanks to the Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel drive system. All of a sudden, it’s got all the drama u need in a car of this type!

The NX 200t F Sport’s exterior puts emphasis on the sporty nature of the crossover due to its well-crafted edgy lines of the body. The large spindle grille with a mesh pattern includes the explicit Lexus F-motif, and a deeper bumper with a metallic-coated lower section. Also, the door mirrors with a black finish and the F Sport 18-inch, 10-spoke alloys which have a two-tone black and machined silver finish contribute to the powerful stance of the new NX. In addition to this, the wheels are shod with 225/60R18 tires. The refined headlights with LED high and low beam functions add a final tone to the Lexus‘ new model.

There are eight different color options, including new Sonic White, plus Sonic Titanium, Mercury Grey, Satin Silver, Celestial Black, Mesa Red, Ultra Blue and Velvet Black.

In terms of the interior, the 200t F Sport features heated electric leather front seats with lumbar support, standard-fit leather upholstery available in black or Dark Rose exclusively. Non-slip aluminium sports pedals, driver’s foot brace, and F-Sport steering wheel wrapped in grippy perforated leather provide with a stylish and luxurious sentiment.

2015 Lexus NX 200t costs £38,095 on the road with first customer deliveries beginning in March.
