Mitsubishi Motors Corporation MMC will unveil the MITSUBISHI eX1 Concept Compact SUV concept vehicle that will incorporate the latest EV system at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015. Nissan Finally Shows Extended List of Goodies for the 2016 Versa Note

Nissan announced details for the 2016 Nissan Versa Note hatchback model, which is already on sale at Nissan dealers worldwide.

As you might know, this vehicle shares many features with the well-known Versa Sedan model, but at the same time proudly demonstrates its own distinctive look, feel and overall appearance. The vehicle even includes widened cargo space with optional Divide-N-Hide Adjustable Floor. And now in its third year of production, the model is offered in S, S Plus, SV, SR and SL trims.

So, what does the 2016 Versa have to offer? To be honest, it is a long list, but here are some of the most interesting features: the car is equipped with NissanConnectSM with Mobile Apps, 5.0-inch color display, Streaming audio, Bluetooth connectivity, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant and SiriusXM Satellite Radio, RearView Monitor. Oh, and I almost forgot. There are also two additional exterior colors: Cayenne Red and Gun Metallic.

And let us remind you what the vehicle hides under the hood. 2016 Versa Note offers a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylincer unit, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Porsche Team Gears 911 Carrera and Targa Models With New Goodies

2017 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S 2017 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Targa 4 models will benefit with the advantage of enhanced AWD system that is paired with special and innovative turbocharged engines, which are more powerful and more efficient than their predecessors. And with the standard adaptive Porsche Active Suspension Management with its 10 millimeter reduced ride height the vehicles will contribute to a better handling and more pleasurable ride.

The AWD models will also offer and some more visual refinements for the 911 Carrera models, including fresh headlights with four-point daytime running lights, door handles without recess covers, reshaped rear decklid with vertical louvers and sweet new rear lights with four-point brake lights. Cool, right? Cool, but this is not all. Additionaly, Carrera 4 and Targa 4 will grant customers with neat light strip between the rear lights that is distinctive, thanks to its three-dimensional design. After four decades of research and experiments the result is here: a new 3.0-liter, flat six twin-turbo unit that sets new benchmark for performance, driving comfort and efficiency. And a sweet boost of 20 hp increase. So, the result now is stunning: the latest powerplant delivers a total of 370 hp (272 kW) and 331 lb.-ft. of torque, while the 4S models deliver a total of 420 hp (308 kW) and 368 lb.-ft.

And thanks to the new electro-hydraulically controlled all-wheel drive, the 911 Carrera 4 has even better acceleration and ends the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. This makes a difference with a total of 0.3 seconds. The top speed ranges from 178 to 189 mph (320 to 340 km/h). And all this thanks to the new powerplants that are now paired to a special seven-speed manual transmission that comes as a standard feature.

BMW Releases M4 GTS High Performance Special Edition for the First Time in the US

2016 BMW M4 GTS

2016 BMW M4 GTS is the most agile, radical and powerful M4 ever created! It has motorsport-inspired looks and is driven by high-performance technology. It is also the first production road car with Water Injection System, which helps it receive a power boost of up to 493 HP (363 kW).

In other words, the M4 GTS is more than impressive. And here is another reason to support this: riding on a track ready chassis, this Special Edition M vehicle achieved a lap time of 7 minutes 28 seconds around the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife. This allowed BMW to highlight the innovative flair of the M engineers in developing M technologies on the powertrain, chassis and lightweight construction fronts.

2016 BMW M4 GTS Engine

In details, this BMW is powered by the M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder in-line engine from the BMW M4. As mentioned, it produces 493 hp (363 kW) at 7,600 rpm thanks to the additional innovative water injection technology.

As a matter of fact, this system is used for the first time in a road car. It takes the 6-cylinder in-line turbocharged unit to new performance heights by relaxing the thermal constraints on power and torque.

The horsepower this engine develops show an increase of 16 percent over the BMW M4 – at 6,250 rpm. In addition, there is also a boost in the peak torque, which has been increased by 10 percent to 599 Nm (442 lb-ft) from 4,000 rpm to 5,500 rpm.

These numbers help the BMW accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.7 seconds. The top speed is limited at 189.5 mph. Despite the significant extra power, the engine also excels on fuel efficiency. Rates are similar to those of the BMW M4 Coupe.

2016 BMW M4 GTS special edition is limited to 700 units worldwide. 300 units will be available for the first time in the US market.

VIZIV Concept: Would It Predict The Future?

Subaru VIZIV Future Concept Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. will unveil two concept vehicles at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015. The brand also has planned to demonstrate and new production models that would eventually be announced on October 28 for a total of ten new models of being shown.

In fact, among the concept vehicles there will be the Subaru BIZIV Future Concept that will demonstrate the direction that the brand will go by incorporating automatic driving functions and next-gen safety features. The other unique car on display will be the Impreza 5-Door Concept. It’s main purpose is to demonstrate the next-gen appearance of the Impreza lineup. But let’s see what has the VIZIV Concept has to offer.

This Concept is a SUV machine that demonstrates a future vision over the Subaru styling. Along with the incredible features, the VIZIV also gives a glimpse of the next-gen technologies that would be incorporated in future Subaru vehicles. Only some of them are the automatic driving technology that is the result from ongoing evolution of the EyeSight and also the engine that combines a downsized turbo unit and a hybrid system.

When it comes to design, Subaru went for a slightly different approach with the VIZIV. The team decided to go for the Subaru Dynamic & Solid design theme that embodies the idea for “enjoyment and peace of mind”.

The body demonstrates clear and polished surface that enhances the impression of swiftness and elegance. Furthermore, the design also brings that muscular stance, thanks to the extended bumpers. And staying true to its SUV nature, there are strong motifs like the hexagonal grill and the ascending rear pillar and a dynamic and wide rear bumper that altogether contribute to the unique style of the vehicle.

The interior on the other hand comes with symmetric lines and cutting-edge interface technology incorporated in the central power frame. The idea for active lifestyle is also incorporated by the beige and black contrast along with the use of orange as a dynamic addition and accent

Subaru team also made improvements to the EyeSight stereo camera technology and enhances the quality of communications and telematics. And along with this technology, the vehicle will demonstrate high-accuaracy GPS system, collision avoidance systems and of course, the automatic drive technology.

This next-gen hybrid is of course geared with next-gen advanced drivetrain system. The combination between downsized turbo unit and hybrid system improves the overall fuel efficiency, while the driver will enjoy a smooth, linear and pleasurable ride.

Honda Introduces 2016 CR-V Special Edition (SE)

2016 Honda CR-V is getting a new trim level positioned over the well-known LX but below the EX. It is called Special Edition or simply SE and adds extra features such as bigger 17-inch bi-colored alloys, second row, rear privacy glass and security system.

The SE grade will be offered both in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variant. If you count the top-of-the-line Touring version, which was introduced last year and that includes the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistive technologies, the CR-V is now available in 12 trim/wheel drive versions!

Just like the standard 2016 CR-V, the SE is powered by an Earth Dreams Technology 2.4-liter direct-injected DOHC i-VTEC inline 4-cylinder engine. It generates 185 horsepower (136 kW) and 245 Nm (181 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Thanks to this combination, the CR-V seems to provide smooth, seamless ratio changes and EPA fuel economy ratings of 26/33/29 mpg (city/highway/combined) for front-wheel-drive and 25/31/27 mpg for the Real Time AWD.

OnStar Calls John Hennessey while he Tests 650+ HP Z/28 Camaro [VIDEO]

Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 HPE 650 Front and Side View Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is one of the best cars to drive nowadays. But what happens when it is equipped with Hennessey Performance HPE650 Upgrade? Unexpectedly OnStar calls you. Or at least this has happened to tuning company’s owner John Hennessey, while he was testing the uprated Z/28 Camaro.

The people at OnStar gave him a call to make sure that everything was alright and he was safe. And he describes the experience: “No, I didn’t crash while testing the car but I was pulling around 1.1 g’s going around the sweeper turn at the end of our test track at Lonestar Motorsports Park. I guess they just wanted to check on me and make sure I was alright”.

By the way, this doesn’t happen for the first time, but he has already experience the same thing a few years ago. The difference was that he was test-driving the 700 HP Cadillac.

Now that’s a very persuasive method to consider the HPE650 upgrade for the 2014/2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, isn’t it? If you have already decided that you want it then you should know that it will give your Camaro an output of 667 bhp (490 lb-ft) at 7,000 rpm!

Porsche Cayman GT4 WIll Be Unveiled At Los Angeles Motor Show

Porsche Cayman GT4 Using the lightweight of Cayman GT4 as a base, Porsche Motorsport created a near-standard race model. It is called Cayman GT4 Clubsport and will be globally unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show on 18 November. The 385 hp (283 kW) beast for motorsport newcomers will also start on this date.

And like its race-worthy production brother, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport is geared with a 3.8-liter flat-six unit that is further paired to a double clutch gearbox with shift paddles on the steering wheel. Furthermore, the lightweight suspension strut front axle is taken from the 911 GT3 Cup sibling. And the nicely built brake system is geared with steel brake discs that measure 380-millimetre in diameter. It weights just 1,300 kg and offers the best of safety systems.

Callaway Corvette GT3-R Is Ready To Rule Over The Tracks

2016 Callaway Corvette GT3-R This weekend’s ADAC GT Masters Season Finale had something incredible to demonstrate. Indeed the unveiling of Callaway Competition’s latest Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R. The global debut was followed by a brief presentation and media feedback. As you might know, the successor of the C6-based Callaway Z06.R GT3 was first demonstrated to public back in October 3, 2015 at the Hockenheimring in Germany.

As you might know, creators of GT race vehicles, Callaway Competition, are based in Leingarten, Germany and do have that vast technical know-how experience of technology and broad network of partners. And maybe these are the elements needed to create such incredible machines. And now, after almost two years of elaborate planning and intensive development, Callaway Competition completed the first C7 GT3-R a week ago.

The stunning and bold visuals are a result of the collaboration between the well-known Canadian designer Paul Deutchman and the owners Giovanni Ciccone and Ernest Wöhr. Other designers and engineers devoted to the project are Mike Gramke, Uwe Hoffmann, Florian Möhring and Andre Zanke. And thanks to these and some other gentlemen, we now can relish the stylish and powerful machine.

And the result of the collaborative work is obvious: the GT3 racer is especially created to meet all FIA rules and regulations. The heart of the beast is a Chevy-based 6.2-liter V8 unit that produces a total of 600 hp (441 kW) that works in perfect harmony with a special X-Track 6-speed sequential transmission with paddle-shift technology. The developing team is also proud to say that this is one of the most flexible and responsive drivetrain systems that they have ever created.

Land Rover Convertible Demonstrates Its Capabilities [VIDEO]

This footage was released earlier today and demonstrates how world’s first luxury compact SUV convertible machine completes the final phase of the testing in the well-known Eastnor Castle estate, Herefrdshire, UK. The short video shows how Land Rover’s design and engineer teams have made test and experiments on the four-wheel Convertible. It is expected that along with the luxury and comfort, this vehicle will deliver such flexibility that it will conquer every terrain.

Ford Focus ST Receives Engine Uprating by Mountune Performance

2015 Ford Focus ST by Mountune Performance Front and Side View Ford Focus ST has received an engine upgrade by the tuning specialists at Mountune Performance. As a result, the car produces additional horses and Newton meters. It is not the first time, Ford’s official engine tuner is releasing and uprating kit, but by far, this one seems more attractive than the others. Precisely, Mountune’s kit boosts the power output of the Focus ST’s 2.0 EcoBoost unit from 250 to 275PS (184 kW to 202 kW). Its fitment not only generates an extra of 10 per cent to the maximum power output at 5,500rpm, but also an increases the torque from 345Nm to 400Nm (255 lb-ft to 295 lb-ft) at 2,750rpm.
