Audi Unwraps The Christmas Presents: A3 and A4 Special Editions

2016 Audi A3 Special Edition The annual Season of Audi year-end sales event begins on November the 4th and will continue until January 8, 2016. And this time Audi will celebrate the Christmas Eve with two special edition A3 and A4 models and a special TOMS eyewear promotion. How cool is that?

The first one, the A3 sedan has brought to sight premium and innovative technologies, along with detailed craftsmanship found in flagship Audi sedans. The A3 Special Edition also comes with improved black optic pack that includes high gloss black exterior components and a special S line exterior features, along with sporty suspension and 18-inch 5-arm rotor wheels in matte black or 19-inch 5-arm wing design wheels and further enhanced sporty exterior design. And let’s not forget the Audi music interface, advanced key and heated seats. Sweet, huh?

2016 Audi A4 Special Edition

And just like the A3, A4 Special Edition sedan offers numerous premium features. For example, power sunroof, leather seating, Sirius XM Satellite Radio trial and unique xenon headlights. The A4 Special Edition pack also includes comfort and advanced heated front seats, rear camera with sensors, MMI navigation pus, Audi connect and Audi Advanced Key. The A4 Special Edition will demonstrate and slightly restyled exterior: there are black optic details, special 18-inch Audi Sport 5 double-spoke wheels or the optional 19-inch Audi Sport 5 V-spoke wheels in titanium to enhance the sporty S line exterior looks.

And just in time for the holidays, customers who ordered new or Certified pre-owned vehicle during the Season of Audi Sales Event will also be offered a pair of TRAVELLER by TOMS sunglasses, exclusively created for Audi. As a result of this campaign, it is expected that 50,000 people in need will receive help with medical treatments and sight-saving surgery or prescription glasses. How cool is that?

Limited to 50 Units 2016 Cobra Jet Mustang Debuts at SEMA Show [VIDEO]

2016 Cobra Jet Mustang Front View 2016 Cobra Jet Mustang prepared by Ford Performance has been just revealed at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Basically, the latest Cobra Jet is a limited-edition turnkey race car. The important ‘thing’ that differentiates it from any other cars is that the snake is absolutely legal for National Hot Rod Association Stock and Super Stock drag racing, as well as several other classes in the International Hot Rod Association, National Mustang Racers Association and National Muscle Car Association.

The saddest fact is that just like the previous generation, this one is limited to 50 units and they all will be colored in either Oxford White or Deep Impact Blue. Of course, from each shade there will be 25 units.

What’s the deal with the Cobra Jet? Well, 75 percent of it is based on the production Mustang GT and includes the same components topped by a front inlet Whipple supercharger. This makes it capable of eight-second quarter-mile times.

Furthermore, the 2016 edition of the series uses drag race-specific coil-over shocks and springs as well as lightweight racing brakes delivered by Strange Engineering. For enhanced safety, the driver and passenger will be protected by 8.50-certified roll cage. Other enhancements include Aeromotive fuel system with trunk-mounted fuel cell, Corbeau FIA seats, five-point race harnesses and race-prepped automatic transmission.

The exquisite work of the experts at Ford Performance included adding technology from other parts of the company and adapting it for racing. Therefore it is not a surprise that the Cobra Jet engine utilizes an electric water pump from Ford C-MAX Hybrid that allows cool-down without the engine running. As a result the car has more consistent racing as well as improved management of engine temperature. And to prove out powertrain’s capability, dyno cells were calibrated to simulate drag strip burnouts and quarter-mile runs.

2016 Cobra Jet Mustang will be dedicated for North America only. It will be produced at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan with production start on the way. The first deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 2016. Pricing starts at $99,990 USD.

Toyota Back to the Future Mirai Concept or Who Brought the Outdated Gullwings Back?

Toyota Back to the Future Mirai is one of the cars exhibited at Toyota’s booth at the SEMA Show this week. Surprisingly enough, the car is called “Back to the Future” as a part of the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy, and this obviously equals removing the four doors and adding gullwings. Considering they are definitely out of date, as modern and cool as they might look to some, this car (in my opinion) will never see anything but the red carpet on special events like this… No, not even in the near future.

In fact, this vehicle ‘looks ready for the fourth dimension’, but if we were still living in the 80s. But if you are fan of the series (not like me unfortunately), then you should definitely go and see the Back to the Future-inspired Mirai.

Despite the outdated and erroneous gullwings, this redesigned SEMA-bound Mirai has some advantageous features. First, I have to mention that the car is reworked by the specialists at MV Designz, who helped Toyota re-desing Doc Brown’s time machine.

So what’s in this Mirai “time machine”? It includes a list of modifications that need to be addressed. Besides the conversion of the body style (from four-door to two-door), the car is defined by 19-inch custom “Infinity” LED wheels and tires, that look pretty good in the dark. By the way, there is a blue LED lightning added throughout the entire vehicle.

What is more, MV Designz decided to equip the hybrid with custom air-ride suspension and applied brushed-aluminum paint scheme to the exterior. Other cool things about this Mirai concept feature heads-up destination clock display, integrated tablet replacing original equipment head unit as well as flux capacitor housed in a custom center console.

Well, it seems not that bad after all… Or wait a minute! Aren’t these gullwings entirely inappropriate?

Ludacris Legend WOWs at #2015SEMA Show

Ludacris Legend and Acura ILX What’s common between Ludacris, Acura and SEMA? You have probably already heard the news that one of the most exciting brands has exhibited at the #2015SEMA show four special cars, one of which is 1993 “Ludacris Legend”! The other thee also impress, because they are namely the sport-modified 2016 Acura ILX Sports Sedan made by Galpin Auto Sports and 2016 ILX with Acura Genuine Accessory package in Slate Silver Metallic as well as the debuting-next-spring Acura NSX supercar.

The GRAMMY award-winning artist and actor, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges is an owner of uniquely customized and restored1993 Acura “Ludacris Legend.” And if you are fan you’d probably know that the sedan has been featured on his ninth studio album, LUDAVERSAL. However, the car has undergone a complete ground-up restoration led by company’s creative director, Dave Marek.

The process of restoring the Legend took around two months. What has been achieved? The Acura Legend sedan has received its original factory luster, inside and out, but also includes minor modifications like the upsized, 18-inch Rays wheels wrapped around Bridgestone Potenza High-Performance 215/40R/18 tires or the 6-piston front caliper and 4-piston rear caliper brakes.

The original paint scheme of the car was also changed and it is now custom-made Warm Cashmere with Ice Pearl paint scheme. Ludacris has already installed a great sound system, the Pioneer AVIC 8/ONEX, but it was improved with the addition of a couple of Alpine Type-12 subwoofer speakers in the luggage department.

The Legend was also lowered by two-inches, because the Marek envisioned the extra H&R springs and Eibach camber kit. Frame, body and chassis work was made better in order to round out the new appearance of the car.

GAS experts have done a great work on a sports sedan variant of the latest ILX. Just to remind you, the refreshed version of the sedan is powered by a new 200-horsepower, 2.4-liter direct-injected i-VTEC unit connected to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).

‘Why not modifying the ILX?’ thought Galpin Auto Sports, thus their custom ILX was born. The modifications include new front bumper with accent front splitter, custom rear diffuser with JDM Fog Light plus custom exhaust exit with rear spoiler. Furthermore, the suspension was improved with RS-R Sports coilovers and a Borla exhaust with custom dual tips.

Other details here include 19-inch AVI wheels in a Matte Brushed Smoked finished wrapped around Pirelli 245/30/19P Zero Run Flat Tires accentuated with black brakes. They make the perfect contrast to the exterior color of the car, called Sunburst Yellow. Shark Gray accents are also visible. The same color scheme has been applied to the interior, which gold contrast stitching throughout along with Katzkin perforated Barracuda leather inserts.

The other ILX you will see at SEMA if you visit it is the equipped with the Acura Genuine Accessory package. It differentiates from the other ILX drastically due to its exterior paint scheme which is Slate Silver Metallic. The pack is exhibited at the show to show customers some of the options for customizing their own ILX.

Precisely, Acura Genuine Accessory package comprises of an aero kit including front, rear and side spoilers, decklid spoiler, 18-inch alloys in Diamond-Cut finish, floor mats, chrome elements for the door, LED fog lights, rear bumper appliqué and the remote engine Starter.

At last but not least, if you go to Las Vegas, you will have the opportunity of meeting the latest Acura NSX, dressed in beautiful Nouvelle Blue Pearl. At the heart of the next-gen supercar capabilities is the NSX’s Sport Hybrid power unit. It features three electric motors and a bespoke twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter DOHC V-6 engine. Jeep And Mopar Unveil the Wrangler Red Rock Concept

Jeep/Mopar Wrangler Red Rock Concept Jeep and Mopar brands teamed up only to create the stunning Wrangler Red Rock Concept car, which will be demonstrated at this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas. In fact, the whole creation of Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Concept pays tribute to the well-known Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club which hosts the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab , Utah. And now, for 2016, Red Rock 4-Wheelers celebrates the 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari. The event started back in 1967 with a special off-road driving, along with “Behind the Rocks Trail”.

And now, in celebration of the upcoming 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari, Jeep brand will create only 50 of the Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Special Edition models for 2016. Furthermore, these machines are influenced by Red Rock Concept that will make its world debut at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas.

As you can see, the Wrangler Red Rock Concept vehicle is pure example of the potential of customizing a production Jeep Wrangler vehicle with aftermarket Performance Parts personally provided by the well-known Mopar brand. And after being produced next year, Wrangler Red Rock special edition, the model will include some of the content of the Red Rock Concept itself. There will be some features that will be showcased on the Concept and later will be available to order from Mopar dealers.

Dodge/SRT Offers Incredible Driving Experience for Customers

Dodge/SRT alliance Dodge/SRT buyers will be definitely impressed by the alliance between Dodge and Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in order to create “The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT.”

It Appears As Ford is This Year’s Star at SEMA 2015

Ford Mustang Good news for all Ford lovers out there! Mustang, Focus and F-Series are now officially Hottest Car, Hottest Sport-Compact and Hottest Truck of this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA). This year’s event recognizes the most popular and most appealing vehicles appearing at the show. And 2015 marks the first time any OEM has won three prizes. So, let’s check out what is going on here.

This year’s show officials walked the notorious floor of the gigantic aftermarket expo and chose the vehicles that were worthy for the prizes. And this year’s audience witnessed that these are indeed Ford Mustang, Ford Focus and Ford F-Series.

Also, this year’s edition witnessed Ford Focus winning the Hottest Sport-Compact segment, while Mustang and F-Series achieved victory in not just one field: both models appeared to be a sort of testament to the popularity and appeal of the whole Ford brand.

But this is not the only time Ford has taken the central stage of the SEMA event. The largest OEM presence took part at the show with 28 incredible vehicles that include Ford as a stand alone and nearly 50 more automobiles on display between the stand and the well-known Ford Out Front demo track. There were also custom builds that included six Ford Focus and Fiesta ST vehicles, seven Ford SUV models, ranging from Edge Sport to Explorer Sport, a total of eight Mustang beasts and seven of the well-known F-150 concept vehicles.

1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS is Supercharging SEMA with its Crate LT4 Engine

1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS an Gen Six Camaro RS 1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS with Supercharged LT4 engine is one of the 20 concepts and production vehicles shown by Chevy at the SEMA Show. Luckily, this means that you will be hearing a lot about Chevrolet this week. This particular Camaro showcases company’s growing range of vehicle accessories, performance parts, crate engines and transmissions. Precisely, the 1970 model uses Corvette Z06s crate engine and it definitely feels very comfortable with it.

The supercharged 6.2L heart of the car is very powerful, since it pumps out 650 horsepower (478 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. These numbers show that the engine is the most powerful one released by General Motors so far. The company is offering it in dry-sump and wet-sump variants.

This particular Camaro concept utilizes wet-sump kit, along with air conditioning and front-end accessory drive kits. In addition, its L4 is mated with a T-56 Super Magnum six-speed manual transmission.

But as the power output grows, this leads to necessary changes regarding the car’s chassis and suspension. They have all been upgraded with an independent front suspension with coilovers and a rack-and-pinion steering system, as well as a four-link rear suspension, also with coilovers.

SEMA-Bound Mazda MX-5 Concepts are Centered on Lightweight Design

Mazda MX-5 Concepts for SEMA What’s better than a Mazda MX-5? Two Mazda MX-5s! Yes, the Japanese company is revealing not one but two lightweight concepts at the SEMA Show. The first one is a Spyder, while the second is Speedster and both are based on the latest variant of the MX-5. What is so special about these two?

The first thing we have to mention is that these MX-5s has less weight than the standard variant. Therefore, they are fun-to-drive and more dynamic. The second thing is that they are based around the concept of accentuating the open-air driving. Third, for the creation of these concepts, the designers drew inspiration from vintage roadsters.

Painted in Mercury Silver, this MX-5 features bikini top, carbon fibre aero kit, grille intake, lightweight 17-inch Yokohama ADVAN Racing RS II wheels and a Spinneybeck PRIMA natural full-grain leather interior. The wheels are equipped with front Brembo four-piston calipers with vented rotors. As a result of many weight saving measures, the car weighs only 1,043 kg.

This one has Blue Ether exterior color, but the most attractive thing about it is that it features deflector in the place of the windscreen. The weight-cutting approach is visible through the carbon fibre doors and seats as well as custom 16-inch RAYS 57 Extreme Gram Lights wheels. The Speedster tips the scales at only 943kg, and is also 30mm lower than the production MX-5 due to the addition of an adjustable coilover suspension. The seats inside are lightweight carbon fibre and were developed by Mu-Len Delta Seat. They have been trimmed in black Alcantara.

Both cars are powered by Mazda’s SKYACTIV-G 2.0 DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with VVT. You can fid those two beauties at company’s stand in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre. SEMA will run until the 6th November, so hurry up!

Vorsteiner Novara Huracan Promises to Bring the New Era of Tuning

The car looks simply amazing with its royal color, aero components and unique wheels. By the way, Vorsteiner said that this car will mark the beginning of a new era.

Controlled Design vs Balanced Aerodynamics

The Novara is based on the Lamborghini Huracan, which is already a spectacular car. And the best thing about this project is that it has the exquisite design as well as the balanced aerodynamics. How was this achieved?

To answer this question we have to get introduced to what the aero program comprises of. Precisely, the kit includes front fascia with integrated front spoiler, ventilated front fenders, side sill extension blades, rear bumper with an integrated rear diffuser and fixed rear wing. All components are made of carbon fiber. But let’s look in details.

We can undoubtedly say that the front of the Novara Huracan is absolutely distinctive an aggressive. Fluid Side Architecture

The inlet openings in the front fenders are part of an aero package which is specifically designed for downforce. Due to the addition of air flow created by the spinning wheels, the ventilated front fenders exit air out and push down on the vehicle, thus allowing better aerodynamics and performance.

Furthermore, the side sill blades have other function than just visual. They cut and direct the air flow from the front towards the rear of the vehicle. This also ensures the stability of the vehicle.

The Devil is in the Details

One very cool detail is the bespoke steering wheel, made of carbon fiber with customized leather materials. The other is the in-house made stainless steel exhaust system, which provides additional improved throttle response, increased power and torque, as well as better sound note from the V10.

Rear End

The rear end of the car is all about supreme aerodynamics and… art. Just take a look at the motorsport inspired rear bumper made of carbon fiber and exuding aggressiveness. In addition, the tail of the car includes three trapezoidal openings on the top for improved heat dissipation and better engine cooling for the powertrain and exhaust. In addition, the rear openings are protected by a honeycomb mesh carried over from the front end.

Probably the most gorgeous part of this tuning is the rear wing. It is an integral part of the Novara aerodynamic package and air flow dynamics. Of course, it is also made out of pure carbon fiber.

The Vorsteiner Novara Huracan runs on nothing less than a 20-inch Vorsteiner V-FF 105 Flow Forged wheels. Lightweight and strong, these wheels are matched with Pirelli tires in two colors and hide red Brembo brakes.

Chevy Unveils the Silverado Bone Collector Concept!

2015 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Bone Collector Concept 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Bone Collector comes with enhanced strength, versatility and personalization options: this concept was just introduced at the SEMA Show, where it joined other modified Chevrolet concept vehicles that are especially designed to demonstrate brand’s latest and greatest plans for the future.

The “Collector” is based on the Silverado 1500 High Country crew cab with 4WD system and features incredible modern design and numerous hi-tech gadgets, only some of which are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This time Chevrolet crew went for that aggressive approach: the vehicle is geared with larger and more massive off-road tires, 22-inch black aluminum wheels, front push bar, assist steps and sport bar.

Furthermore, there is a special LED off-road light bar, mounted to the sport bar. There is also a special drawer system in the cargo bed for safer and more secure stowage.

The eye-catching camo color scheme is further enhanced by the Realtre Bone Collector green graphics, while the six-piston disc brake calipers include 16,1-inch diameter disc rotors. You will see for yourself how the green theme goes down to the tie-down rings and bungee cords in the bed.

The inside of the vehicle features special instrument cluster display with Bone Collector green-tinted lens, leather trimmed steering wheel and custom-embroidered front-seat headrests. Also, the Chevrolet Accessories’ floor liners protect the carpet beneath them. The interior also includes Silverado-logo door sill plates, ambient lightning package and under-seat storage feature. How cool is that?

And just like the 2016 Silverado 1500 models, the Bone Collector concept delivers that high-strength steel construction, while the monstrous 420-hp (308 kW) ensures that the vehicle will deal with any challenge on the road.

Chevrolet Unveils the Silverado Special Ops Concept

2015 Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops Concept Chevy’s 2016 Silverado Special Ops concept is especially created to aim rescue teams in the special operations forces. Based on the Silverado 1500 Z71, the concept offers a restyled front-end design, advanced technologies, high-strength body structure and fully boxed frame.
