2013 Dodge Dart Aero: Fuel-Efficient and Powerful

2013 Dodge Dart Aero is the newest, most fuel-efficient Dart model in the line-up. This Dodge comes equipped with advanced 1.4-liter MultiAir intercooled turbo engine combined with several aerodynamic enhancements.

Some of the latter include lightweight aluminum chassis components, active grille shutters, underbody aero kit, a lowered profile and low-rolling resistance tires. Thanks to all of the improvements added, the Aero model achieves an impressive 41 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway when mated to a six-speed manual. Superchips Volkswagen Golf MK6 Bluemotion

Superchips Volkswagen Golf MK6 Bluemotion is the latest tuning the Buckingham based firm has been dealing with. This Mk6 Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDi 103 hp (75 kW) has boosted levels and fuelling settings to safely and reliably extract the remarkable increase in terms of power.

2013 Volkswagen Touareg Edition X is the newest special edition model which is marking Touareg’s 10th anniversary. Yes, a decade ago this successful Volkswagen model was revealed for the first time to the public.

Since then it has been providing off-road competence of the highest level. Edition X will continue this tradition and will add numerous exclusive features.

Kahn Range Rover Sport RS300 Vesuvius Edition is definitely going to be a style icon one day. The seductive proportions of this santorini black metallic combined with the Vesuvius orange beauty effect in an elegant vehicle which screams for attention.

Of course, this Rover couldn’t go without the necessary interior enhancements, which are another unique feature of this model. In details, it has been upgraded to a magnificent level with a RS Vesuvius style diamond quilted and perforated black leather interior with Vesuvius orange trim, diamond gear selector, interior facia trim pieces, Kahn Vesuvius speedo, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium, centre glove box – diamond quilt with carbon stripe, Kahn illuminated door entry sill plates in stainless steel, Kahn Vesuvius orange time clock, privacy tinted glass, seat logos, clock bezel surround finished with Swarovski diamonds, door panel tops in quilted and perforated leather with orange stitching, Kahn Vesuvius orange rev counter, Leather quilted binnacle and rear tailgate centre trim 3D carbon finish.

What is left is the wheel-tyre combination. The vehicle runs on Kahn’s RS Black wheels with orange pinstripe in sizes 9.5 x 22 inches at the front and 10.5 x 22 inches at the rear. Thanks to their simple and clean lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke and a purposeful mechanical centre, the RS600 wheels are synonymous with elegance and innovation.

DMC Maserati Gran Turismo Sovrano Delivers Luxury and Power

DMC Maserati Gran Turismo Sovrano is one of the best looking tunings I’ve seen recently. The reason for this is not only its goldish exterior color, but because the German tuner DMC included in it an engine and suspension upgrade, new rims and several carbon fiber exterior parts.

But let’s go further into details a see what exactly has been done on this Maserati. On the front fascia, the newly designed front bumper gives and the new spoiler lip enhance the appearance as well as the aerodynamics of the GT, increasing downforce on the front axle.

Additional air inlets and outlets were added to the new light-construction bonnet. In addition, interesting facts are that the wide body side skirts have zig-zag end-panels, while the trunk spoiler and a new rear diffuser round-off the back of the car.

It’s not a contemporary tuning, if it doesn’t include carbon fibre. All add-on parts were made from this material and were manufactured by DMC using autoclave prepreg vacuum processing.

The optical appearance also includes a sport suspension for the front and rear axles, which lowers the vehicle’s center of gravity by around 30 millimetres. The Gran Tourismo runs on 255/30 R 20 front tyres and 305/30 R 21 wheels at the back.

More importantly, some modifications have been done under the hood. The 4.7 liter V8 engine is now more potent thanks to a supercharger that is driven using a cogged-tooth belt. This means that the vehicle adds an additional 150 hp (110 kW) and 82 Nm (61 lb-ft), resulting in a total of 590 hp (434 kW) at 7,300rpm and 472Nm (348 lb-ft) of torque at 5,400rpm.

The tuners didn’t forget the interior. There, they have used leather with a chequered stitch and plenty of Carbon Fiber. The aluminium pedals and new ergonomically designed sporty steering wheel are parts added to the setup.

2013 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line – Pricing Announced

2013 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line is the new trim level which joins the Tiguan line-up with unique features and sportier styling. The new model is based on the SE modification bud adds some significant features.

For instance, such are the bi-xenon headlights, 18-inch ‘Mallory’ alloy wheels, painted in Sterling Silver with black wheelarch extensions, body-coloured unique front and rear ‘R’ design bumpers and rear spoiler, an R-Line logo on the front grille and aluminium front door sills with R-Line logo.

Furthermore, the new Volkswagen model has an improved interior environment. Inside, the front sport seats are in two-tone upholstery. In addition, there can also be seen the R-Line logo on the front head restraints, leather multifunction steering wheel with aluminium inlay and R-Line logo and stainless steel pedals.

More importantly, the R-Line is available with Tiguan’s three most powerful engines: the 2.0-litre TSI with 210 hp (155 kW) and 4MOTION four-wheel drive, the 2.0-litre common rail TDI engine with either 140 hp (103 kW) or 170 hp (125 kW) and 4MOTION.

No matter the engine choice, the vehicle is fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as a standard. Carbon dioxide emissions for all models are under 200 g/km.

Cam Shaft Renault Clio RS as Ringtool

Renault Clio RS has just been chosen by the foiling company Cam Shaft as a ringtool. And if you aren’t aware what this term means – this is a vehicle which is taken just for fun of driving on racing circuits.

In this case the surface of the Renault has been foiled in matt Graphite Metallic, and the exterior mirrors are in green paintwork. Here the motor hood is very interesting, because when you look at it, it seems like that a can with green paint has accidentally fallen over it. As the slice wedge, an incitement MOVE RIGHT is affixed, but in green mirror writing.

The Clio RS originally comes with 17 inch RS rims. However, they have been powder-coated in green and covered with semi-slick tires from Kumho in 215/45. In combination with a coil-over suspension by H&R with Nurburgring North Loop tuning, a special kind of driving dynamics is achieved.

Another important highlight here is the modification done on the driving dynamics. The power has been enhanced to 225 hp (165 kW) and 250 Nm (185 lb-ft) of torque. In addition, there has been also installed a sports air filter by K&N. In fact the entire exhaust system has been modified with ingredients from Supersprint: bends, 100-cell sport catalysts and both the middle and the rear muffler are from Mantova.

The front part of the brake system has been replaced with the one from Renault Megane II. Combined with the stainless steel brake lines at the front and the rear it delivers optimum deceleration.

At last what is left to be said is that there is a Clubsport cage by Sahler Motorsport which is powder-coated in green, as well as the discreet Stickerbombing in the interior.

Fostla Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG Lquid Gold with 548 Horsepower

Fostla Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG Lquid Gold is a modification of the iconic model with premium foils and an extensive conversion to MOPF II. The refinement has been made by Fostla, a tuning company the Lower Saxony Hannover, which is proficient in vehicle foiling.

What else has been used in order to transform this Mercedes-Benz is a wide body aerodynamic kit delivered by PRIOR-Design (from their PD-Series named Widebody). In fact you can literally witness how this ingenious system of flowing lines and expressive curves boasts with an roadworthy tuning.

In addition, a great combination of wheels and tires has been implemented on this SL 55 AMG. Rotiform rims has been utilized, whose inner star was first powder coated in gloss black and then foiled in body color. Their dimensions are 10.5×20 inch at the front axle and 12.5×20 inch at the rear axle.

The latter have been fitted with appropriate tires with the dimensions of 265/30-20 and 325/25-20. Furthermore, what brings the SL closer to the asphalt is the lowering kit. The round-made window tinting received a humble 5% headlight tint.

An enhancement of the power has been performed as well. The V8 engine, which originally produces 500 hp (368 kW) is now further software optimized and generates 548 hp (403 kW). Another highlight here is the new exhaust system including black glossy powder coated exhaust tips.

Petrolicious: Man of Morgan

A new exciting project has just gone live and its name is Petrolicious. The web platform will focus on high quality content for vintage cars and the people working behind the project are promising some great stuff coming down the line.

A new video will air once a week starting with the one below named “Man of Morgan”. The story it tells is about Derek Wilburn of Long Beach, California, who is a collector of many things and of Morgan’s history.

In fact you will see in the footage that his house and garage hold enough intriguing items. Definitely this is the vintage shopper’s paradise, filled with antiques, bicycles, and other. However the true passion of Wilburn is the Morgans (I can relate to this pretty well).

Building and restoring the automobiles has been something which happened in his everyday life since childhood. You can literally see Derek’s joy when he talks about Morgans!

2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Blends Luxury and Efficiency

CLP Performance BMW 6 Series Equipped with new Aerodynamics Kit

CLP Performance BMW 6 Series can now show-off even more power and endurance thanks to a body kit of exceptional elegance. The creator is the tuning company CLP Performance, which has designed new aerodynamics kit for both cabriolet and the coupe.

Now the emblematic BMW models can radiate more sportiness and individuality. The specialists have redesigned the sills and added an air intake in front of the rear wheel arch. The front skirt has been given much lower slung air intakes and the designers have added a diffusor high up on the rear skirt.

Nevertheless, what grabs the attention the most on this 6 Series is the new tailgate. It picks up the sleek line of the vehicle and continues this edge in a broad sweep towards the rear. We must admit that now the BMW has more elegant appearance.

MOV’IT Steel Brake Systems for Hamann Range Rover Evoque

MOV’IT has just released a new stopper for the the iconic Range Rover Evoque which in the current case is transformed by the tuning company Hamann. We have already seen this inspiring modification but without the Steel Brake System enhancement.

We must admit that the stylish Evoque is one of the most beautiful cars in the SUV class. And now it is getting even prettier, thanks to the MOV’IT brake specialists from Ottersweier. What they offer is two 6-piston steel brake systems.

The first one are 370×35 mm steel brake discs and the second – 380×32 mm. The serial device is 300×29 millimetres large.

MOV’IT steel disc brakes are running-direction bound and equipped with the MOV’IT-DDE™ venting system. The latter provides the high fading stability. The two-part design with aluminium pot is reduces the weight significantly. All this results in better response of the suspension and improves the steering behaviour.

As a result, the Range Rover becomes more agile. In addition, this specific system is even cost-neutral after compensation for running output as compared to use of the OE-device! All components here: calipers, pot, lining and attachment, are designed and enhanced in order to match perfectly to the respective brake disc material (steel or ceramic).

The MOV’IT-brake calipers are made of a highly-resilient aluminium alloy. This means basically that they are restistant to distortion and may be charged with a pressure of up to 250 bar.

Furthermore, their open caliper design improves ventilation. Additionally this means that the caliper can be replaced in installed condition. Next to be highlighted is that the MOV’IT-CROWN system is located on the vehicle side. An edge milled to a crown shape permits fastening the steel brake lines in a certain angle.

MOV’IT-brake pots improve the brake disc venting with their running-direction-bound, turbine-like design. A specially constructed attachment system of highly resilient tool steel ensures ideal connection.
