Teaser: DMC Lamborghini Aventador Limited Edition

I am always happy to see a new coming project especially from luxury tuners such as DMC. They have just released a teaser image of their new undertake on the Lamborghini Aventador.

Unfortunately no other details have been unveiled yet. They will be disclosed few days before the official launch. In fact, I am sure that we are going to see something profound! Because this is the company which has become famous for their Lamborghini modifications sent.

Furthermore, this Limited Edition project will be probably based on the LP700 or LP900. The teaser doesn’t show a clear picture but focuses on the front bumper, which shows elements of Lamborghini‘s “J” Roadster that was shown in Geneva earlier this year.

The latest modification of DMC was DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP-900 Molto Veloce which is equipped with combination of aerodynamic Carbon Fiber parts including diffusers, lips, and spoilers, exhaust system of Titanium and have received a staggering 900 hp (662 kW) Engine Performance upgrade.

Arden Range Rover AR7 Special Edition

Arden Range Rover AR7 Special Edition is the latest transformation by the Krefeld-based German specialist from Arden. They have put efforts on the premium Range Rover and made it look more individual and sportier than before. For this purpose they have equipped the famous SUV with their AR& Highlander premium kit.

As a matter of fact this is an aerodynamic package, which comprises of entirely redesigned front and rear aprons, side skirts as well as handcrafted stainless steel-grilles with the exclusive Arden mesh design.

Adding to this, the set is completed by the 22” sportline wheels with 295/35R22 tires or alternatively the 22”Dakar II wheel as well as sport mufflers. They ensure optimal handling and are matched with a high-performance brake system and an electronic suspension module.

2012 Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport Realizes Performance Potential

2012 Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport is the high-performance replacement for the 325 hp (240 kW) Insignia VXR model. The new car generates more power and achieves great top speed. It does not include a speed-limiter which means that it car realize its true performance potential.

Some details however, are differentiating the SuperSport model from the VXR. The visual identifiers like blue ‘Brembo’ lettering on its front brake callipers and additional increments on its speedometer offer subtle hints about the car’s giant-slaying intent.

The new performance potential of the Insignia, combined with adaptive’s all-wheel-drive chassis deliver perfect driving enjoyment and haven’t been put to better utilization. In addition, this Vauxhall is fitted with HiPerStrut front suspension, which maintains negative camber, thus enhancing grip levels in wet and dry conditions.

This of course makes the SuperSport’s handling safe and rewarding for all enthusiast drivers. Next, Vauxhall’s adaptive damping system, named FlexRide comes here as a standard, and comes with a VXR setting for enhanced controllability at higher speeds.

More importantly is to mention where this car draws its power from. Well, the engine under the hood is the 2.8-litre V6 Turbo ECOTEC one, with a micro-alloy forged steel crank, classic 60-degree cylinder angle and die-cast alloy sump. In fact, these are the main features, one can find on many race engines.

This powerful unit produces up to 325 hp (240 kW) and uses a single, twin-scroll turbocharger and variable valve control for quick throttle response. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 5.6 seconds.

Distinctive Styling: Oettinger Volkswagen Golf VII

Oettinger Volkswagen Golf VII has been equipped with new aerodynamic package which gives the newly announced Golf VII more sports presence and faster acceleration. The VII version of the iconic car was introduced exactly 2 months ago and it is more than a good surprise to know that the specialist from Oettinger have already done enhancements on it.

The improvement program, named “small solution” comprises of two piece front spoiler with a splitter, side skirts and a rear apron insert with diffuser. In addition, a powerful engine conversion has also been done.

In particular, the range between 260 and 360 hp for the GTI gets an increase of at least 30 hp for the two 2.0 TDI engine. The output of the 1.6 TDI engine can be increased from 90 to 110 hp and from 105 to 125 hp.

Furthermore, the tuning company will offer an explicitly motorsport orientated accessory programme for the Volkswagen. In particular it will include wheel arch extensions, sports exhausts, adjustable suspensions, intercoolers, air intakes with sport filters, limited slip differentials, uprated clutches and brakes.

The last highlight here is that the new ultra light Oettinger 10 spoke sports rim will also be featured in this tuning, however – later in 2013. Although developed especially for competition applications it will be applied to the Golf VII as well.

D2Forged Audi TT-S XL3 Shows More Aggressive Stance

D2Forged Audi TT-S XL3 is another example of how a unique challenge can be conquered. The specialist from D2Forged Wheels had this custom wheel order where they had to bring out the true spirit of the popular Audi model.

The TT-S comes equipped with a powerful 2.0 liter TFSI engine, which helps the vehicle to generate 200 kW (272 hp). This catapults the Coupe with S tronic dual-clutch transmission from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 5.2 seconds and on up to a governed top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The maximum torque here is of 350 Nm (258.15 lb-ft) and it is constantly on tap from 2,500 up to 5,000 rpm.

The huge calipers, high offset, the complex AWD system and dual clutch transmission of this Audi model fit perfectly to the stance and improved dynamic performance, which D2Forged Wheels have additionally given it.

The first challenge here was to match the caliper size and high offset. Here the perfect choice was to give the car a XL Series of D2Forged Wheels as they provide a 1.0″ deeper lip compared to the classic FMS Series profile and also yields increased caliper clearance.

A staggered outer lip and more aggressive stance were achieved via wider rear tires on the AWD system. Final details are: 19×9.0″ – 2.0″ for the front lip and 19×9.0″ – 3.0″ for the rear lip.

Jaguar XJ_e Experimental Plug-in Hybrid

Jaguar XJ_e is an experimental plug-in hybrid which recently was announced to be the “Most Energy Efficient Luxury Car Prototype” and received the “Technical Panel’s Award of Merit”. In fact the vehicle uses only 1.2 liters of petrol and 11 kWh of electricity for over 63 mile course.

Jaguar XJ_e PHEV is a project part of the strategy of both Jaguar and Land Rover to develop best-in-class low-carbon premium products. To be more precise this vehicle utilise a specially developed 2-litre turbocharged engine coupled with a 69kW electric motor and a 12.3kWh lithium-ion battery.

This replaces the 5-litre V8 of the standard XJ. To go even further into details, the Jaguar XJ_e can achieve a range of about 25 miles in all-electric mode and a maximum electric mode top speed of 75mph. Performance estimates for the Jaguar XJ_e are fuel economy of 87 miles per gallon and a top speed of 150mph.

Here the tailpipe emissions are 75g/km and this means that the brand have achieved up to 70 per cent improvement compared to the standard XJ model. As a matter of fact experimental vehicles like the XJ_e Hybrids and electrification technologies are key elements of Jaguar Land Rover’s plan to reduce our carbon footprint.

Lexus LS Campaign: Highest Level of Performance and Luxury [VIDEO]

2015 Lexus LS already has its campaign which exudes nothing less than luxury, performance and the highest lifestyle. The new Lexus model got a new face and more than 3000 new parts.

The promo video follows the day of a couple, showing series of moments – high-end and exclusive experiences. Some of them include front-row seats at a fashion show, a passport stamp leading to an exotic vacation, a modern home in the hills, a swanky jazz club and a glamorous red carpet arrival.

When the flashlight of the camera appears, then a transition happens and the video goes to the next exciting scene. In addition, it captures each photo-worthy experience. 2013 Honda N-One: Variety in Action

2013 Honda N-One is currently being launched on the market, being a third of the new N Series mini-vehicles (including N-Box and N-Box+). The model was created with the help of the motif of the N360 series, which was the first mass-produced Honda mini passenger car introduced to the market in 1967.

With N-One the engineers aimed to make a new basic car which will be a new type of vehicle for the new era in Japan. Key features of the N-One include a spacious cabin for four adults, and an improved acceleration performance.

2013 Nissan GT-R: Elevated Performance

The new 2013 Nissan GT-R now has enhanced response, better stability and sharper handling. The model will go on sale in the spring next year, showing-off its new four-wheel drive and great responsiveness.

In fact, this Nissan model has received a round of improvements, which complement perfectly the “beast” which seeps under its good: the 550 horsepower (405 kW) 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Here the lessons, that the brand have learned after this year’s Nürburgring 24-Hour, are applied by the engineers thus effecting in enhanced response in both the mid- and upper-rpm rev ranges.

Other changes include increased body rigidity and modifications to the dampers, springs and front anti-roll bar. As a consequence, the GT-R is now more responsive, has better high-speed stability and a more refined ride.

Details around this model are still scarce and the brand will reveal full prices and exact performance specifications closer to car’s launch. Nevertheless, some technical changes were disclosed.

The engine for instance has new high-output injectors, which more concisely control fuel injection in order to enhance mid-range and high-rpm response. Furthermore, new relief valve for the turbocharger bypass suppresses the rapid decrease of forced injection pressure, again helping to sustain response. Next, a brand new oil pan baffle helps maintain more stable oil pressure and reduces rotational friction especially during high-performance driving.

The chassis has been updated as well, after measuring the roll centre of the GT-R when cornering and taking deflection of the bushes and tyres into account. The updated suspension includes revised dampers, springs and front anti-roll bar to lower the centre of gravity.

Moreover, new cam bolts have been installed on the front suspension to enhance camber accuracy and stability when cornering. The torque has been increased as well thus carrying capacity of the driveshafts to the hub bearings and improving the reliability in high-stress situations.

At last but not least, some changes have been made to the body as well. Reinforcements have been added to the dash panel bar and instrument panel member effecting in extended body rigidity and better suspension control.

Dunham’s Dodge Challenger SRT8 Project UltraViolet is no Laughing Matter

2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Project UltraViolet has been revealed at SEMA as part of Mopar’s 75th anniversary celebration. The collaboration between Mopar, Street and Racing Technology (SRT) team, and comedian Jeff Dunham resulted in a custom Dodge Challenger SRT8.

Dunham speaks about it honestly: “It’s a major understatement to say that I’ve been looking forward to the SEMA show this year, as we’ve had an awesome time creating this one-of-a-kind Challenger”, who also says that the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda “as my favorite muscle car of all time”.

Project UltraViolet takes its name from the two-tone paint scheme chosen for the Dodge. It combines an ‘ultra’-violet body color with a black upper half. Furthermore, under the hood is the new Mopar 426 crate engine, which is able to generate 515 horsepower (380 kW) and 490 lb.-ft. (665 Nm) of torque. In addition, the project also benefits from the new engine tuning capabilities performed by Arrington Engines.

To go even further into detail, the Dodge is lowered with 1 inch and equipped with 22-inch HRE brand performance wheels sporting a matte and semigloss black finish. The rear end is wider, and larger more dramatic wheels flares are added to both front and rear to widen the body with 4 inches and create a muscular stance.

A lot of hand-made parts were utilized in this project: new rear diffuser, dive-planes, new front splitter, all-new rocker panels, new lower-rear spoilers, new deck-lid spoiler and custom aluminum side sills with the exhaust exiting in front of the rear wheels. Bumpers are changed as well, and the grille is now slightly larger. Headlamp lenses are added along with tinted taillights.

How about the interior? It includes premium materials and craftsmanship: handcrafted full-grain Nappa leather with color-keyed accent panels, premium-grade color-keyed accent stitching, computer-controlled custom embroidery, custom-built seats supplied by Lear, tuned exhaust with stainless steel tips by Palmer, and a Hurst brand short-throw shifter.

All of these elements combined together create an old-school muscle-car look, and contribute to the machine’s more aggressive appearance.
