2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Special Service Vehicle

2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Special Service Vehicle (SSV) is joining company’s police vehicle line-up. It will go on sale this summer and will offer the same capabilities, efficiency and durability which are attributed to the award-winning Silverado 1500. However it will be equipped with special features designed for police use. The SSV package is to be offered in two trims: 1WT and 1LS. As a basis, Chevrolet has used the Silverado 1500 Crew Cab.

The truck is equipped with the 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8, which produces at 355 horsepower (260 kW) and delivers EPA-rated fuel economy of 23 mpg highway. The engine is available with E85 capability. There is also a choice of 2WD or 4WD models with the standard 6’6” pickup box or a shorter 5’8” box.

In addition, the Silverado SSV comes equipped with a standard 170-amp high-output alternator and 730-CCA auxiliary battery. This will allow officers to operate lights, radios, computers, cameras and other equipment while parked with the engine turned off.

Furthermore, SSV also sports 110-volt outlet for equipment, and comes standard with electrical power supply for four upfitter switches located on the center stack. Daytime running lamps delete, wiring for grille, lamp and sirens, flasher system for headlamps and taillamps and the rear-vision camera are offered as an option.

Inside, the crew cab is fitted with a vinyl rear seat along with large rear doors. Other available interior options comprise of front center seat delete, an auxiliary dome lamp and an electronic four-wheel drive switch located on the dash. Chevrolet will also offer ship-through options for the upfit of light bars, sirens, partitions and additional aftermarket equipment.

2014 Mansory Range Rover Sport Gets Full Carbon Fiber Treatment

2014 Mansory Range Rover Sport is a very special vehicle, which due to carbon fiber optimizations has been made lighter than ever. As a matter of fact, the tuners at the design studio Mansory have developed an entire kit modeled from this light-weight material. And we must confirm that it also adds more sophisticated look to this iconic Land Rover model. In addition, the vehicle has been enhanced from the inside as well. And this includes both the interior and engine.

First of all, the aero kit comprises of fender extensions, which add a total of 30mm to each corner. This allows the mounting of much wider wheel and tire combination. As a result, this refined Range Rover Sport runs on diamond polished 22 inch alloy wheels. They were coupled with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tyres in the dimension of 305/35 ZR22.

The second element is the brand new front spoiler, which includes a LED DRL system. Next come the carbon fiber radiator grille, sideskirts, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber rear spoiler, and a carbon fiber roof spoiler.

Vorsteiner Is Working On Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG

Vorsteiner Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is a pure muscular off-roader. It is equipped with the monstrous 5,461 ccm V12 biturbo unit beneath the massive engine hood. The power of the engine is rated at 612 hp (450 kW) and draws from a maximum torque of 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft). G63 AMG is the perfect example of how an antiquated German cross country vehicle can still look modern in today’s evolving automotive design. And Vorsteiner has definitely contributed towards that.

The vehicle still carries its authentic 35 year old styling. However, this G-wagon has been refreshed with Vorsteiner’s 22” VSR-163 Forged Monoblock wheels in Matte Brushed Shadow finish. They have been used for both front and rear.

The wheels have been fitted with a set of Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires in the appropriate dimension of 305/35/22. Vorsteiner still continues working on the vehicle and promises to add to it an aero kit.

The design studio has announced “behind the scenes” that this breathtaking G-wagon will be fitted with a carbon fiber front lip and rear spoiler. This of course will further reinforce the militaristic appearance of the G-Class. So we are expecting more info and images from the working process!

Audi S5 Sportback By Senner Tuning

Senner Tuning Audi S5 Sportback is more than a high-performance coupé limousine. It carries a sportive gene and is craftily packaged in gorgeously formed bodywork. One can see that Senner Tuning endowed the S5 Sportback with an interesting optical and technical package. Firstly, the tuners added exclusive Work Schwert SC1 rims in chromium-silver finish as well as high-gloss anodized outer rims. The rims in front are in the size of 9×20 inches and include 91 millimeter-wide outer rims. They were fitted with with Continental Sport Contact 5P tires of the dimension 245/30R20.

Next, a specially manufactured valve-type sports exhaust system with a control system of the exhaust valves is regulated on the basis of load status-dynamic pressure. It also takes charge of processing the high-grade exhaust gases.

Senner Tuning has also supplied the vehicle with a radio remote control system. The latter facilitates the individual switching of the valve control system between three different modes: travel, sports, race. This basically means that driver is able to adjust the volume of the system individually.

MTM Refines Volkswagen Golf 7 R 4Motion

MTM Volkswagen Golf 7 R 4Motion delivers much more than the standard for the Golf 7 R Motion 300 hp horsepower. The production model is fitted with a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system and has a towing capacity of up to 2,000 kg. In other word the Golf 7R 4Motion is the perfect vehicle for high standards. After MTM has worked its magic, the car effortlessly operates on a different plane. The tuners have enhanced the engine and it now produces 360 hp (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

On its way to the top speed of 250 km/h it covers the acceleration sprint from 0 to 100 km/h for only 4.2 seconds. The modified powerplant owes this power to MTM’s M-Cantronic module, fitted in only 90 minutes.

In addition, the front wheels are held in check by company’s 380×34 mm eight-piston brakes. The rear axle is served by the ideally sized standard brake system.

The power is transmitted onto the road via Nardo wheels in the dimension of 8.5 x 19s. They are shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres in size 235/35 ZR 19, that also provide great road grip.

At the rear, four tailpipes have been mounted. They also show that MTM’s ideally matched exhaust system doesn’t just look good but also exudes the good taste cultivated among Golf fans.

McLaren Special Operations Previews MSO 650S Coupe Concept

McLaren MSO 650S Coupe Concept is a unique design concept vehicle which is destined to go on to a China tour. McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has developed bespoke upgrades for it, thus making it with optimised aerodynamic performance and more dramatic appearance. The range of the new styling options are not only available for the McLaren 650S Coupe and 650S Spider, but many of them can also be fitted to the previous 12C models.

McLaren 650S Coupe and 650S Spider are the latest models to join to McLaren’s range. The pictures of the concept are previewing the model ahead its tour throughout China over the coming weeks. This supercar includes an array of bespoke MSO features, such as newly designed carbon fibre rear diffuser and MSO-branded carbon fibre side blades.

The stealth-like appearance of the car is achieved through upgrades made to the exterior bodywork and within the driver-focused cabin. MSO 650S Coupe Concept is finished in ‘Agrigan Black’. The latter is a metallic black paint that was specifically developed in-house and features a deep ruby red metallic flake.

This paint effect contrasts with the extensive use of satin-finished carbon fibre elements. From this material are made the front splitter and air intakes, side blades and the unique MSO ear diffuser. In fact, the side blades are more aggressive, full length, interpretation of the door blades seen on the 650S Coupe and Spider models.

In addtition, they also offer increased improvements to the airflow along the edges of the bodywork. This of course optimizes the aerodynamic efficiency. At the rear, we can see a GT3-inspired rear bumper, which features a carbon fibre centre section. This material carries through to the carbon fibre airbrake and unique MSO rear diffuser.

Furthermore, the engine bay has been further improved with satin black engine covers and a satin finish to all carbon fibre parts. MSO 650S Coupe Concept runs on satin black finished lightweight ‘650S’ alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres.

The interior enhancements include fixed-back carbon fibre racing seats, which are based on the lightweight design found in the McLaren P1. They are finished in carbon black leather. In addition, satin carbon fibre can be seen extensively throughout the cabin, while the switchgear and bezels are finished in contrasting gloss black.

McLaren MSO 650S Coupe Concept is a one-off design study. MSO is monitoring reaction regarding any potential production examples.

Three Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3s Prepared For Nurburgring

Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is returning to its home to follow up volume production lap record. Three cars have been prepared for this year’s Nurburgring 24 Hours race. The event will happen on 21st and 22nd of June and is considered one of the toughest endurance races in the world. Top racers will be contributing towards the success of Nissan at the race. Leading the charge will be a two-car entry from Nissan GT Academy Team RJN and a further GT-R entered by Schulze Motorsport.

Precisely, GT Academy Germany Judge, Nick Heidfeld, will race the No.80 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. The car has been numbered in order to celebrate Nissan’s 80th anniversary. He will team up with the most recent GT Academy Germany winner, Florian Strauss. Nick and Florian will be joined by Lucas Ordonez, and Alex Buncombe.

The No.30 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 is the other car featured at the event, and it carries this number in order to celebrate the 30 years of NISMO. This car will be engineered predominately by a team from NISMO.

Nissan Super GT racers, Michael Krumm and Kazuki Hoshino, will team up with Katsumasa Chiyo and ‘Ring regular Tetsuya Tanaka in this car. At last, The third Schulze GT-R will be driven by the creator of Gran Turismo, Kazanori Yamauchi and the 2009 winner of GT Academy, Jordan Tresson.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe Pacific And Atlantic Convertible

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is getting new design packages, called Atlantic luxury, prepared for the convertible, and the Pacific performance, created for the coupe. The concept versions of the vehicle were introduces at the last SEMA show in November. And since then, there is a strong response from enthusiasts, which lead to the eventual production.

The luxury GT-focused Atlantic Convertible is inspired by the luxury and performance of private jets. It is to be offered on Z51-equipped convertibles, and will be available in the 2LT or 3LT trims. The package comprises of front Z06-style splitter; Shark Gray exterior vents, hood “stinger” graphic and tonneau inserts; Chrome Torque wheels with Stingray center caps; Stingray underhood liner and floor mats; custom splash guards, rear license plate frame and logo valve stem caps as well as custom luggage.

On the other hand, the track-focused Pacific Coupe is offered again on the Z51-equipped coupe, in 2LT and 3LT trims. It features the following unique content: color choices of Torch Red, Black, Arctic White, Blade Silver and Shark Gray; satin black full-length racing stripes; satin black Z51 wheels with red stripe and Stingray center caps; “CFZ” carbon fiber ground effects package and visible carbon fiber roof panel; Carbon Flash rear spoiler, outside mirrors and exterior badges; Red brake calipers; Competition Sport Seats in red or black; carbon fiber interior trim, Stingray sill plates and Stingray floor mats; custom splash guards and rear license plate frame and indoor gray car cover.

As an option, both vehicles can be equipped with Chevrolet’s Performance Data Recorder as well as the new eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. Here as a standard, the cars are equipped with the seven-speed manual transmission.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Atlantic Convertible and Pacific Coupe will go on sale later this year along with the rest of the Stingray lineup.

MINI Makes One-off Paceman Adventure

MINI Paceman Adventure is a concept project that resulted from the joint work of the young apprentices and their instructors at the BMWs plant in Munich. This Paceman has completely one-off vision. As a basis the students have used the current MINI Cooper S Paceman. They have transformed it into a two-seater with a pickup style cargo area. This MINI pick-up features all necessary off-road characteristicis, including a powerful engine, all-wheel drive, big tyres, modified suspension and much more.

To go further into details, this Paceman Adventure is powered by the Cooper S Paceman’s engine which produces 184 horsepower (135 kW). In addition, it is equipped with MINI’s ALL4. The passenger compartment features only two front seats. Behind them is positioned the cargo area that is suitable for luggage, tools and equipment begins. A solid roof rack can accommodate a spare wheel.

Furthermore, the pickup has the typically MINI short overhangs, but includes a modified chassis with extended ground clearance and higher front and rear clearance ramps. This MINI concept also features a snorkel-like roof level air intake, thus meaning that it could tackle a river crossing.

On the front cross member of the roof rack are mounted additional lights. The car has been fitted with off-road tyres, which prepare the concept for the perfect off-road experience.At last, the exterior paint finish is Jungle Green metallic. Unfortunately, MINI has no plans for a production version of the Paceman Adventure.

Buick Enters LaCrosse Ultra Luxury Interior Package

2014 Buick LaCrosse Ultra Luxury Interior Package has been added to enhance the interior credentials of the LaCrosse range. The unique package adorns the cabin of the vehicle with the outstanding combination of sangria and ebony colors. In fact, this color palette is typical across the luxury cars of higher ranges. This color combination is intense and at the same time calming. In addition, premium materials were used in the making of the new interior.

2014 Ultra Luxury Interior includes front and rear seats upholstered in soft semi-aniline leather. The latter is in the color of deep sangria. In addition, the same material extends to console and door armrests, complemented by ebony-colored accents like the sueded headliner and door pillars.

Furthermore, the luxury interior also features authentic Shadow Tamo Ash wood trim on the doors, dash, and center console. In fact, the deeply grained Tamo Ash offers movement and contrast through its dark veins. Another interesting fact around it is that it varies widely in appearance, which consequently makes every Ultra Luxury Interior unique.

The package is available on the 2014 LaCrosse Leather (1SL), Premium (1SP) and Premium ll (1SR) models. They are equipped with the 3.6L V-6 engine, that produces 304 horsepower (224 kW). The fuel efficiency is estimated at 18 mpg city/28 mpg highway for front-wheel drive models and 17/26 mpg for all-wheel drive models.

Fostla.de Wrapps-Up Porsche 991 GT3

Fostla.de Porsche 991 GT3 delivers new sporty exterior appearance. It was achieved by the full wrapping performed by the tuning specialists at the German company Fostla.de. The foil application is said to have many advantages over the standard painting. First of all, it exudes craftsmanship, secondly – it improves the individual appearance of the car, and at last – it conserves the its value. In particular, this Porsche 991 GT3 has been dressed in glossing white foil, and then its front has been covered with double layer wrapping.

The professionals at Fostla.de say that only after that began the scrupulously precise work in detail. A bilious green design foiling goes around the lower corner of the car body. It can’t be seen however at the rear area.

In addition, the upper edge of the air inlet at the front forms the borderline to the white body area. It manifests itself on the body sides by three black stripes. Behind the doors, the borderline clearly mounts up to the rear wings.

What is more, the bilious green longitudinal stripes have been added to the front bonnet, roof and rear motor bonnet. At the sides, each green line is limited by black stripes. The outer mirrors and the rear wing diffusors have been also wrapped in green. At last, what rounds out this project is the upper front window corner, which has been decorated by a wedge with Porsche logo.

2015 Toyota GT86 Is Here!

2015 Toyota GT86 is here and it is showing-off its perfectly enhanced aerodynamics for the new model year. It will offer even better handling and stability due to the optimization of suspension’s rigidity and shock absorbers. In addition, the changes are also evident in the interior, which now features new instrument panel finish. An entirely new element is the shark-fin type antenna that comes to enhance the aerodynamics and deliver a bolder look.

The GT86 was officially introduced in 2012 and made a big furor. Wisely enough, Toyota is continuing the development of the car. The foundation of the upgrade is the more rigid fixation of the front suspension and the rear shock absorbers.

The rework of shock absorbers provide more stable damping and improved friction control, thus delivering smoother and communicative handling. Body-roll is reduced and the steering feel is sharper than before.

Another exclusive change is featured on the inside of the GT86. It is the new carbon-fibre motif on the dashboard insert. This not only gives more contemporary appearance of the car, but also hints to future utilization of the popular material.

On the outside, another introduction was made. It is the shark-fin antenna, which has been adopted in order to enhance the looks and aerodynamics of the car. The 2015 model year update also features a new pearl-white and silver paint finishes.

2015 Toyota GT86 will be available in dealerships only throughout Europe staring this summer.
