Edo Competition Enhances Porsche 991 Turbo S

Edo Competition Porsche 991 Turbo S is simply exceptional! It combines the highest functional quality, perfect craftsmanship and an accomplished design in one form. For the new 2014 Porsche 991 Turbo and the Turbo S models, Edo Competition has developed an exclusive tuning programme. The result is a more individual car that has enhancements regarding the exterior, interior, chassis and engine. Edo Competition has developed sports shocks provide for even more sporty driving pleasure. They can also enable a lowering of the chassis by up to 30 millimetres.

Furthermore, a completely redeveloped, one-piece and ultra-light forged wheel set delivers both functionality and sporty elegance. Of course these numbers can speak of a stunning acceleration time. The modified Porsche covers the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.8 seconds. In comparison, the production model covers it for just 3.2 seconds. The top speed has been raised from 318 km/h to 327 km/h.

This car has a brute sound, which is being developed through the newly designed sports silencers with tri-alloy catalyst converters. They are made completely from stainless steel. Other design enhancements feature new grille sets, enameled brake calipers and individualized interior.

Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI SW 90 Chelsea Wide Track

Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI SW 90 Chelsea Wide Track Edition is a project we are familiar with. It captured our hearts in March when it was revealed for the first times. What makes us reviewing this excellently looking Land Rover is that previously we didn’t have that much information about it. Now the tuners at A. Kahn Design are disclosing more detailed information on this stylish Defender as well as some additional images.

When one looks at this vehicle, it undoubtedly creates a lasting and enduring impression. It has been colored in volcanic black satin paint finish and has as a contrast the stylish nara bronze roof. This means that it combines its elegant performance with rugged practicality.

Exteriorwise, the eye-catching styling package includes a set of 9×20″ Mondial wheels that were finished in nara bronze, front and rear wide wings with integrated vents and bolt apertures. The front bumper has been replaced with stainless steel one which includes lights.

Also at the front are present the aluminium front bumper sump guard, tron lighting, bonnet vents in matt black, side vents in matt black, bonnet vents with mesh stainless steel, LED diamond bright headlights, Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover, crystal LED lights, side repeaters and twin crosshair exhaust system in stainless steel with exhaust shields and Kahn bonnet lettering. The striking new front X-Lander grille slots in perfectly with the factory mounting points.

Inside, the generous interior features front and rear sports GTB seats in quilted and perforated nappa leather with silver stitching, rev counter facia in red, sun visors and B pillar and side panels in alcantara, billet and leather steering wheel, roof grab handles with leather covers, and instrument binnacle in leather.

The door cards and passenger dashboard top, grab handle and rear passenger knee protectors are decided in black leather, while the centre glovebox is in quilted and perforated leather. The roof headlining is in alcantara. The floor carpet is fitted throughout.

The interior also includes hard wearing front and rear cabin floor mats, rear cabin access LED lights, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium, Churchill time clock facia in insert red, rear door panel and handle in black leather, alpine satellite navigation system, Chelsea Truck Company Door entry sill plates and Kahn branding.

2014 Skoda Octavia Laurin & Klement Goes On Sale

2014 Skoda Octavia Laurin & Klement (L&K) is a premium flagship version of the new Octavia. The model was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show this March and is now ready to go on sale. L&K brings Skoda’s most sophisticated levels of comfort and technology to the Octavia range. The model will be offered in two body styles – hatch or estate, accompanied by two engine choices.

Precisely, they are the 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine, which produces 180 horsepower (132 kW), and the 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit generating 150 hp (110 kW). The powerplants can be either specified with a slick-shifting six-speed manual transmission or DSG automatic one. A 4×4 diesel manual option is also available on the estate body style.

Lamborghini Hulk Aventador-V LP-740 By Vorsteiner

Lamborghini Aventador-V LP-740 By Vorsteiner is also called the Hulk Aventador-V because of its toxic green paint finish combined with black accents. It roams the streets of Miami, Florida, exuding its powerful potential of nearly 700 horsepower (515 kW). In fact, this LP700-4 is powered by a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. The latter produces the aforementioned horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 690 Nm (511 lb-ft) of maximum torque at 5,500 rpm.

The unit is coupled with a seven-speed ISR transmission sending the power to an AWD system. To go further into details, this Lambo can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds, while the 0-200 km/h acceleration time is estimated at 8.6 seconds and the 0-300 km/h at 24.5 seconds. The top speed here is 350 km/h (218 mph).

To become “The Hulk”, this Lamborghini is suited in the complete Aventador-V aerodynamics package and fitted with ADV.1’s Reventador M.V1 wheels in Gloss Black and in the size of 20×9 and 21×12.5. Mercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG Black Series Powered-Up By Mcchip-dkr

Mcchip-dkr Mercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG Black Series is here to show us what it has got. Originally, the gull-wing supercar is crammed with power. However, when someone hears the name Mcchip-dkr, he or she immediately thinks about high developed made in Germany chip tuning or ECO-optimization. The software experts help vehicles deliver more power, less consumption, and of course- more of driving fun.

This time, under their attention is the iconic Mercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG Black Series that comes from the recent production. Its serial performance has been optimized via an engine map optimization motor tuning.

The result is 654 horsepower (481 kW) and 649 Newton meters (479 lb-ft) of maximum torque. To compare it with the production numbers – they are estimated at 622 hp (457 kW) and 634 Nm (468 lb-ft). What’s more, these interventions not only increase the engine power but also contribute for fuel savings.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a front-engine 2-seater developed by Mercedes-AMG, and in fact it is the first Mercedes-Benz designed in-house by AMG. The car with the emblematic gull-wing doors is a successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and is powered by a 6.3 L V8 DOHG unit coupled with a seven speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Ford Supports MS Society With One-Off 2015 Mustang Convertible

2015 Ford Mustang 50 Years Convertible in one example will be produced for raffle. The proceeds will go for the support of multiple sclerosis research. What is unique about this vehicle is that it is the single Mustang GT convertible that is to be built with a performance pack and select content from the 50 Year Limited Edition fastback. Ford continues its longstanding support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and to bring about more awareness to the problem.

As a matter of fact, the vehicle will be among the first regular production 2015 Mustang GT convertibles that are going to be built this autumn. The muscle car will be powered by its 5.0-liter V8 engine. The latter produces more than 420 horsepower (309 kW) and more than 529 Nm (390 lb.-ft.) of torque; and is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission.

Another interesting fact is that this Mustang convertible will be the only one built with a special performance pack that includes 19-inch Pirelli P-Zero summer tires, Brembo six-piston painted front brake calipers and a limited-slip differential. In addition, the convertible features a number of unique elements that distinguish it from other 2015 Mustangs.

Some of them include Wimbledon White exterior paint finish, chrome-accented grille with corralled pony emblem, chrome accents around the tri-bar taillamp lenses, axle spin-finish aluminum instrument panel trim, rear decklid badge with “GT 50 Years” identification, two-tone cashmere and black leather seats, contrasting cashmere stitching on instrument panel, steering wheel, shift boot, door inserts and seats, loop-carpet floor mats with cashmere stitching and suede binding, and 19-inch Y-spoke wheels inspired by the chrome steel wheels offered on original Mustang.

This special car also features a badge on the instrument panel, engraved with the signature of Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford, and serial number 0001 of 0001.

Peugeot RCZ Red Carbon Comes As Limited Edition

Peugeot RCZ Red Carbon LE is a bespoke, high-specification of the sports coupe. The car is exclusively available in a choice of Moroccan Red or Nera Black colors. It includes key features such as red-stitched interior, bespoke badging, high specification and power unit choice. The new RCZ trim is currently available on the market in a limited series run.

The ‘Red Carbon’ models are true limited editions and they are produced in the number of 300. The cars have been derived from the Sport model but are distinguished by their unique badging. As a standard every model comes equipped with the ‘Vision Pack’.

The latter adds Xenon, directional and self-levelling headlamps, 19” ‘Solstice’ alloy wheels in onyx black matt paintwork finish, exterior in metallic Moroccan Red or Nera Black.In addition, this pack is complemented by the ‘Black Pack’ that features matt black roof arches, brilliant black front grill, door mirror covers and brake callipers.

The interior of the car is distinguished by the unique ‘Red Carbon’ black style sports front seats trimmed in ‘Simple Leather’. They also include red stitching, as do the ‘Red Carbon’ style dashboard, sports steering wheel and short shift gear lever.

The technologies that are given to the car and serve as entertainment for the passengers are the Peugeot Connect Navigation (RT6), Audio, CD and satellite navigation system and Connect USB Box with Bluetooth connectivity. All models are equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition Shows Pure Italian Style

Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition was introduced a month ago at the New York International Auto Show. With it the company adds to its unique high quality product range. Maserati is currently reaching into new high-potential markets because of the great demand for Italian style and performance. The new GranTurismo models are an embodiment of this technological and design philosophy.

GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition is powered by the revered 454 horsepower (334 kW), 4.7 liter V8 engine. The car is being offered in Coupe and Convertible derivatives. What immediately catch the eye are the new three special ‘three-layer’ color schemes that were added to the four already available for the GranTurismo MC.

In addition, there is a wide choice of wheels, with four special finishes for the MC and Trofeo designs. At the center of the wheels appears the medal-shaped centenary logo. The latter is available in two finishes: matte Smoke grey and Charcoal grey.

For the interior of the cars is used black leather for the seats, dashboard and steering wheel. They are also strikingly offset by the red, white and blue of the full-length seat profiles and also include stitching in a color that mimics that of the laser engraved details on the wheels.

Of course, carbon fiber can also be seen inside. It was utilized for the fittings on the dashboard, seat surrounds and a kick panel where the centenary logo takes place. GranTurismo MC Centennial Editon range will be available alongside the current line-up. Sales are scheduled to start in July 2014.

Kahn Range Rover Vesuvius Evoque RS250 is undoubtedly attractive and distinctive. Not only because it is an Evoque, but also because it was for a period of time it was in the hands of the talented British tuners at A. Kahn Design. Basically, company’s philosophy is to always give customers what they want. Therefore, this was the case with this vehicle. And we must confirm that it looks simply luscious from every single angle.

First of all we see that it was completed with Kahn lettering on the bonnet’s leading edge. As a true Evoque, this vehicle has distinct and seductive proportions, complemented by the brand new wheels and bright exterior color.

The range of enhancements at the front includes a front grille with 3D mesh, front grille vents, front bumper grille inner, LED daytime running lights for the front bumper vents, front headlight detail, brake calipers, front bumper centre section graphic and front bumper replacement with integrated vents which includes 3D mesh inserts.

At the sides, the designers have added side sill trim and door entry sill plates in stainless steel, while at the rear we see lower boot lid spoiler, rear bumper replacement with integrated vents, rear boot lid trim.

Kahn’s work is also recognizable inside, where the front and rear seats were completed with a desirable trim. There is also included diamond/quilted centre glove box with contrast stitching, transmission tunnel in leather with contrast stitching, speedo & rev counter dials, diamond/quilted four door armrests with stitching, centre console in carbon fibre, high quality heavy duty carpet floor mats, diamond gear selector and vented foot pedals in machined aluminum.

2015 Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel CNG Goes On Sale

2015 Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel CNG is going on sale this summer as promised. The car was introduced last year and is the industry’s only manufacturer-produced full-size sedan in North America that can run on both compressed natural gas (CNG) and gasoline. The car is offered in either an LS base trim or a higher-equipped LT trim. This Chevrolet was created in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the OPEC Oil Embargo – The National Summit on Energy Security.

The vehicle is available only with a 3.6L hardened engine with hardened valves and valve seats. This will deliver more wear resistance and durability with the CNG fuel system. The CNG tank is mounted in the trunk. It has an equivalent capacity of 7.8 gallons of gasoline, which means that it is expected to offer approximately 150 city miles of range on compressed natural gas. Gasoline and compressed natural gas combined will offer an expected range of 500 city miles.

Natural gas is one of the cleanest-burning fuels currently available. The vehicles that run on CNG produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline-powered cars. In addition, it will also help customers reduce fuel costs next to the reduction of the greenhouse gas emissions.

Primarily, the Impala runs on CNG. When the fuel tank is depleted, the system automatically and seamlessly switches to run on gasoline. Those who want to change fuels while driving can do so by simply pushing a button on the dashboard. This button utilizes LED light to indicate when CNG is being used.

Fiat Releases Punto Jet Black 2 Limited Edition

2014 Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 is the latest limited-edition model of the brand. It offers unique and instantly recognizable looks, rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with sports suspension. The interior of the car is also different from those of the production one – it includes refinements such as climate control, cruise control and Blue&Me connectivity as standard. Jet Black 2 is powered by a 77 hp 1.4-litre petrol engine.

This new limited-edition Punto features distinctive looks and also offers high level of standard specifications. The car is available as a three-door only and is finished in Crossover Black metallic paint.

Furthermore, the black theme continues through the dark tinted rear privacy glass and smoked, 12-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels that come as a standard. In addition, also in body-color are the side skirts and the matching rear spoiler. The sports suspension, front fog lights, special side stripes and a tailgate logo complete the bespoke look.

Inside, the car also benefits from additional equipment. For instance there is a new leather steering wheel and gear knob. Also added for more convenience are the automatic climate control and cruise control.

On the other hand the standard safety features include rear parking sensors, adaptive cornering fog lights; five airbags and voice-controlled, Blue&Me Bluetooth multimedia connectivity. At last but not least, this Fiat is driven by the 77 hp (57 kW) 1.4-litre petrol engine fitted with Start&Stop as standard.

BMW Shows Six Public Service Vehicles At RETTmobil

BMW X3 Paramedic Vehicle is to be presented at the RETTmobil show. The latter is the leading European trade fair for emergency services and mobility. It delivers a great informational platform for paramedics, rescue services and firefighters, as well as public services. Of course, as one of the leading manufacturers, BMW has also prepared an extensive range of special special-purpose vehicles. They are practical and purposefully designed and meet the highest standards in terms of performance, practicality, safety, cost efficiency and fuel economy.

The highlight of the show is the BMW X3 Paramedic Vehicle, which is based on the BMW X3 xDrive20d. It will offer the medical services its iconic credentials of robust agility, dynamic performance and extensive interior adaptability.

Two powerful and fuel-efficient two-liter turbodiesel engines come as a choice: They develop 190 horsepower (140 kW) and deliver and average fuel consumption of just 5.4–5.0 l/100 km (52.3–56.5 mpg).

The next highlight is the BMW X5 high-performance emergency vehicle, based on the BMW X5 xDrive30d. It is equipped with intelligent all-wheel-drive system and 8-speed Steptronic transmission, and is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line diesel engine.

The powertrain is rated at 258 hp (190 kW) and torque of 560 Nm (413 lb-ft). This ensures that this paramedic vehicle wastes no time getting to the scene of an emergency. Other special highlights here include the high seating position and precise, light-action steering, outstanding spaciousness, extensive interior adaptability and an automatic tailgate.

The other four vehicles that are to be introduced at RETTmobil, are the BMW M235i paramedic vehicle, BMW X1 xDrive20d fire command vehicle, BMW 325d Gran Turismo covert emergency vehicle and at last, but not least- the new BMW R 1200 RT motorcycle.
