2012 Golf Cabriolet will have its official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
Golf VI Cabriolet features including a new rear end styling, a more sloped front windshield and a lower profile roof line. Actually, it looks awesome compared to the standard 5-door model.

The newest A6 is officially unveiled by Audi. The car is much similar than the previous model except it proportions. 2012 Audi A6 is slightly shorter, but it has stretched wheelbase – 2910mm long for better comfort.
The new car boasts 16″ alloy wheels, LED taillights, trunk-lid spoiler, a dual exhaust system, and optional LED headlights. However, the S-Line package adds modified bumpers, a sport suspension, a faux rear diffuser, and 19″ alloys.
The interior is practically the same as A7 – an automatic climate control, MMI, a 6.5″ monitor, and “micrometallic platinum” trim – aluminum and wood are optional.
Bang & Olufsen offer a 1 300 watt sound system, internet connectivity, MMI navigation plus – 8″ monitor and MMI touch, and individual rear seats.
The technologies are superb in the 2012 A6. The safety is at extremely high level and features adaptive cruise control, active lane assist, parking assist, side assist, and night vision assist
with pedestrian detection.
There will be five engines at launch of the car.
First is 2.0 TDI with 177PS (130 kW) and 380Nm (280 lb-ft), which averages 4.9L/100km (48mpg) and 129 g/km of CO2. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and tops 228 km/h (142 mph).
The second is 3.0 TDI V6 with 204PS (150 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and the top speed is 240km/h (149 mph). However, the fuel consumption is just 5.2L/100km and CO2 emissions are 137 g/km.
There is more powerful version of the 3.0TDI with 245PS (180 kW) and 500Nm (369 lb-ft) – 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and the top speed is is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The fuel consumption is extremely low for such mighty engine – 6.0L/100km and CO2 emissions are 158 g/km.
The petrol range features 2.8 FSI V6 with 204PS (150 kW) and 280Nm (207 lb-ft). The gearbox is a multitronic transmission and allows the A6 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). It consumptions 7.4L/100 km (32 mpg) and emits 172g/km of CO2.
The 3.0 TFSI V6 delivers whopping 300PS (220 kW) and 440Nm (325 lb-ft). The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is covered in 5.5 seconds and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). It needs 8.2 L/100 km (27 US mpg) and emits 190 g/km of CO2.
The transmission choices are: 6-speed manual, multitronic CVT, and the 7-speed S tronic.
2012 Audi A6 will be available to buy in the beginning of next year for €38 500 in Germany.
The TDI engines of VAG are famous with their efficiency. They offer both good performance characteristics and low fuel consumption, but the best-selling A4 model from Audi stunned everybody by achieving just 4.4 liters of diesel per 100km, which is more than 53mpg. The emissions are superbly low too – 115g/km of CO2. Furthermore, the A4 avant with the same engine returns over 51mpg and 120g/km of CO2.
The engine is 2.0 liter TDI with 136hp (100 kW) and 320Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, which is available between 1750 nd 2500RPM. The massive torque is the key to the low fuel consumption. (more…)
ABT now offers a new package of performance upgrades for the 1.2TSI, 1.4TSI and 1.6TDI engines.
The 1.2 liter TSI with 105PS (77kW), which powers VW Polo, Golf and Scirocco models, and Seat Ibiza, too. The performance package adds 35PS (26kW).
The more powerful 1.4 liter TSI with 122PS (90kW) can be boosted to 160PS (118kW), which is an improvement of 38PS (28kW). This engine can be found in A3 and Jetta. (more…)
Great news from Volkswagen! The company has introduced the European edition of 2011 Jetta, which was launched earlier this year in the USA. The European edition boats better interior trim options and some additional engine choices.
The entry level of 2011 Jetta EU comes with 1.2 liter TSI with 105PS (77kW), followed by 1.4TSI with either 122PS (90 kW) or 160PS (118kW). The top-of-range 2.0 liter TSI version delivers 200PS (147kW).
The diesel variants are a 1.6 liter TDI with 105 PS (77 kW) and a 2.0 liter TDI with 140 PS (103 kW). (more…)

Seat Ibiza ST is now available to order in the UK. The car is priced at £12 070 RRP for the entry-level 1.4-litre 16V S A/C. The diesel version ST 1.2 TDI CR Ecomotive in SE spec is priced a bit higher – £14 910.
The new Ibiza offers very good advantages like boot decent boot capacity, exceptional low fuel consumption – 80.7mpg and emissions of just 92 g/km. Also the vehicle is offered with seven-speed DSG gearbox.

Further details about 2011 CrossPolo are now reveled. The first pictures of the vehicle emerged several months ago with scant information, now we can have a closer look to the five-door hatch with SUV looks.

Top-of-range Polo is GTI model. It is powered by twin-charged 1.4-litre TSI engine developing 180 PS with amazing fuel consumption – 47 mpg on the combined cycle and emitting just 139 g/km of CO2. Volkswagen Golf VI Match is the latest to join the wide range of available models. The special Match name replaces existing SE trim level and adds over £1,600 worth of extra equipment while costing just £300 more than the outgoing car. The Match comes with 40 PS BlueMotion Technology model for extra economy and performance.
Among the standard equipment are ABS, ESP, seven airbags, Climatic air conditioning, alarm, cruise control and multi-device interface for connectivity to iPod or MP3 player. Match model adds 16” Croft alloys, a leather multifunction steering wheel, DAB digital radio receiver, Bluetooth system, front and rear parking sensors and an RCD 510 touchscreen stereo with six-disc CD autochanger.
The engine range for Match model includes 1.4 litre TSI with 122 PS, a 1.6 litre TDI with 105 PS or a 2.0 litre TDI with 140 PS. Both small engines are available with seven-speed DSG gearbox, while the big 2.0 litre TDI can be specified with the six-speed DSG option.
The BlueMotion Technology delivers 68.9mpg for the 1.6 litre TDI engine. The technology is also available for the popular 2.0 litre TDI engine and the combined fuel economy is 65.7 mpg. The BlueMotion Technology models’ enhanced economy comes as a result of a Start/Stop system and battery regeneration.
The start price for Golf VI Match is £17,730 RRP OTR for the 1.4-litre TSI three-door. The first deliveries will start at the end of June.
