Senner Audi S5 Sportback

Senner tuning has announced their tuning program for Audi S5 Sportback. It includes a set of new wheels, lowered suspension, carbon fiber interior elements and some performance modifications.

First, the tuning specialists fitted the stylish S5 Sportback with huge SENNER-Elegant TS-7 wheels in sizes 9.5J x 20” up front and 11J x 20” at the rear fitted with Conti Sport Contact 5P tires in dimensions 255/30 R20 and 295/25 R20, respectively.

The car is finished in black mettalic paint with matt black gitter with bright borders, as well as moldings and racks for windows, including a fog-light frame in the same “color”.

The suspension received adjustable screw thread B16 PSS10 from Bilstein with the possibility of height, pull rate and pressure adjustment in “Senner-tuning”, which is responsible for the low suspension: about 40 mm on the front axle and 35 mm on the rear axle.

The engine is boosted to whopping 445PS (327 kW) and 530Nm (393 lb-ft) of torque, instead of the factory’s 333PS (245 kW) and 440Nm. The results are thanks to a complete Performance Kit air filter, sport exhaust system including an additional muffler and X-Pipe of stainless steel with the enlarged pipe diameter to 63.5 mm and 4 exhaust pipes of 90×70 mm, and of course an ECU re-map.

Together with the carbon-fiber interior the tachometer of this material, as well as the Power Converter – the tuning for the electric foot-throttle can be ordered.

The total cost of the upgrades is 15 000 EURO.

2012 Audi A5/S5 Facelift – Sportback, Coupe, Cabriolet

Audi has unveiled the new 2012 A5/S5 model range. A lot of advanced technologies are being added to the Sportback, Coupe, Cabriolet and S5 models. Almost every single detail is improved – the engine, quattro drive and infotainment systems are better now. Audi took care about more efficiency, sportiness and intelligence.

However, the new exterior includes restyled front and rear lights and slightly bigger dimensions. Exactly, the new A5/S5 has grown bigger with a millimeter (0.04 inch). The A5 Sportback is 4.71 meters (15.45 ft) long; the Coupé and the Cabriolet 4.63 meters (15.19 ft). The range of colors has been reshuffled and now includes 16 colors.

The interior features fine materials and top-quality fit and finish. It is now more elegant than ever – with new steering wheels, including an option for a flattened ring, new steering column stalks and with narrow chrome clasps framing the control elements.

The engine range has been revised and now includes a 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 with 272PS (200 kW) for the A5 and 333PS (245 kW) for the S5. The well-known 1.8 liter TFSI power unit with 170PS (125 kW) now have extraordinary fuel economy – 5.7 liters per 100km (41+ mpg). The output of the 2.0 TFSI remains unchanged at 211PS (155 kW).

The 2.0 liter TDI delivers 177PS (130 kW) and achieves 4.7 liters per 100 km on average. The CO2 emissions are cut to 122 g/km. The 3.0 TDI has 204PS (150 kW) and is the most fuel-efficient six-cylinder unit in its class worldwide. In the A5 Coupé with multitronic, it consumes on average 4.9 liters (48 US mpg) of fuel and emits just 129 g/km of CO2.

2012 Audi A5 Sportback 1.8 TFSI is priced at €33 350 in Germany.

It is available as Sportback, Coupe and Cabriolet. The engine is 3.0 liter TFSI with 333PS (245 kW) with average fuel consumption of just 8.1 liters per 100 km. 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 and top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – electronically limited.

Visual cues to the updated S models include new lights, modified body details and new crystal-effect paint finishes. Subtle changes can also be found in the interior. The most important technical updates for the Audi S5 are quattro drive with the crown-gear center differential and electromechanical power steering. The special S sport suspension and the standard 18” wheels deliver the power to the road.

Project Kahn 2011 Audi A5 S-Line Cabrio

Project Kahn has already introduced Audi A5 Coupe and now it is turn to the convertible version – A5 S-Line Cabrio.

The aerodynamics package includes new front bumper, a new rear bumper, a rear spoiler and a stainless-steel quad sports exhaust system. The car also comes with 21” RSX matte black alloy wheels fitted with low profile tires.

The interior boasts perforated Nappa leather upholstery, aluminum pedals, revised instrument cluster and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

There is no information about performance packages, but probably the turbocharged power units will be able to get more HP with an ECU re-map.

STaSIS S5 Cabriolet Challenge Edition

STaSIS has unveiled another staggering tuning program, but this time for Audi S5 Cabriolet. The name of the project is Challenge Edition and it is now available for British customers for the first time.

S5 Cabriolet Challenge Edition features full performance package as well as sports exhaust system, Ohlins race suspension and enormous monobloc brake calipers for brutal stopping power. Last, but not least, there is a road-gripping differential for perfect traction.

The 3.0 litre turbocharged engine now delivers whopping 410BHP, instead of the factory’s 333BHP. 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds, which is 0.7 seconds improvement.

STaSIS S5 Cabriolet Challenge Edition stands on enormous 10.5J x 20” ultra-lightweight forged aluminium wheels with high-performance tires.

2011 Audi S1 will make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show

This year’s Paris Motor Show will introduce a lot of interesting cars and one of them is the Audi S1, which will make its official debut.

The car will be practically the same like the A1 with S-line package, but with lowered suspension and bigger 17” alloys.

Audi S1 is powered by the famous 1.4 liter TSI with 180PS. An innovation is that the S1 wont be equipped with quattro as standard. Instead, the small will be front wheel drive. (more…)

Audi A5 Cabrio refined by Senner Tuning – Gorgeous!

MTM Audi RS5 – Simply stunning

Can Audi RS5 become more staggering than it is? Yes! MTM created tuning package for the brutal sports car.

The tuning company offers performance package, which consist of MTM V-Cantronic and sports exhaust system. The result is a top speed of 303 km/h and deeper aggressive sound.

Audi S5 3.0 TFSI with more power than the V8

Stage One upgrade from Sportec for Audi S5 (3.0 TFSI version) includes sport air filter and ECU remap. The car is powered by 3.0 liter turbocharged petrol TFSI engine with 328 bhp. After the upgrade, the power plant develops whopping 425bhp at 6640RPM. This means an improvement of 97bhp, not bad at all.

The torque improvement is also significant – 80Nm. Audi S5 now produces 520Nm (379 lb-ft) at 4250RPM, compared to 440 Nm Nm (325 lb-ft). (more…)

Senner Tuning’s all-new Audi S5 Sportsback conversion

The German-based Audi cars enhancement expert Senner Tuning has unveiled its latest program, which lends the 2009 Audi S5 Sportback more athletic stance and styling as well as boosted output figures.

Although the S5 Sportback represents a premium, all-rounded mid-size vehicle with sufficient performance, the guys at Senner have decided to give the ride an extra kick. Thanks to the optimization of the ECU and a new sport air filter, the S5’s 3.0-litre TFSI engine is now capable to deliver the staggering 375 horsepower and 495 Nm instead of the factory 333 horses and 440 Nm of peak torque. In addition to the new output level, Senner has also mounted the ride with a brand-new in-house exhaust unit with catalytic converter and four end-pipes.

For the sportier stance, the Senner S5 Sportback benefits from a 35/40 mm lowering springs and a gorgeous 20-inch set of two-piece alloys in T1S Work VARA Diamont black design. The new rims are fitted with high-performance tires in the dimensions 245/30 R20 at the front and 295/25 R20 at the rear axle.

Upon a customer demand, the interior of the Senner S5 can be further reinforced with carbon fiber accents and gadgets.
