  • HAMANN launching beautiful Evoque Convertible tuning pack

HAMANN Range Rover Evoque Convertible front view

Tuners customizes thoroughly the challenging SUV

Range Rover Evoque Convertible was initially rather a suspicious project. However, the SUV looks strangely charming and waves at those of you who are not afraid to express their individuality. HAMANN Motorsport has actually worked on this arty vehicle and has recently released a refinement package worth ones attention. The result, the Evoque Convertible becomes immediate eye-catcher.

Being the world’s first open SUV, this is kind of tempting project to work on. The refinement pack made by the tuner enhances the stylish character of the vehicle and makes it even more inviting. Basically, it comprises of brand-new aerodynamics components, which also offers wide body option, high-quality wheel/tyre combinations, fine accessories, and power enhancement.

SEE ALSO: HAMANN Releases Special Aero & Performance Packs for X4 and X6 [w/videos]

HAMANN’s alternative to the standard versions is least to say attractive. Replacing the good by the better, the experts added new front skirt for the Evoque Convertible, two-part grille, new and more sophisticated air intakes on both sides, and fibre-optic daytime running lights. At the rear, there is an entirely new rear skirt that features black or silver anodized HAMANN tailpieces of the sports exhaust system.

HAMANN Range Rover Evoque Convertible side view

The engine tuning supports the strong appearance. With the help of an ignition map optimization, the ED4 diesel receives considerable extra power: precisely, it jumps from 150 hp to 181 hp (110 kW to 135 kW), while the torque – from 380 Nm to 460 Nm. After the uprating, the Si4 petrol engine boasts a power advancement of 20 hp, making it to a total of 260 hp (177 kW to 191 kW) and 480 Nm instead of 420 Nm.

Well, that’s kind of nice conversion of Evoque’s little brother, isn’t it? Below, you can watch a video with the HAMANN’s project, and see for yourself how perfectly it fits on the road.

  • Kahn transforms Range Rover Evoque to unparalleled levels

Kahn Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Luxury Edition front view

Project Kahn Evoque mixes dynamism and luxury

We have not one, but two important news to announce about our favorite British tuner Kahn Group. Almost every Friday the designers release a brand new project, and today is no exception. We have received the first pictures of the breath-taking Project Kahn Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Luxury Edition, which has been styled in the ways and manners of Afzal Kahn. In other words, it looks amazing and those who will be sitting inside will enjoy wide range of luxury.

Dressed in Santorini Black Metallic livery and fitted with various add-ons, the vehicles looks dramatic and powerful on the road. But besides the exterior paint scheme, there are other reasons for that. Take for instance the stunning front bumper with integrated vents or the LED daytime running lights and 3D mesh inserts that adorn the front.

SEE ALSO: Afzal Kahn does his magic on a Wrangler Sahara to create something spectacular

As for the rear part of the Evoque, there is a rear bumper replacement as well as rear diffuser, lower boot lid spoiler and a sump guard in matt black. Not forgetting the central twin cross-hair exhaust system and the 25mm sports lowered suspension, which give the vehicle a more menacing and tough stance. We can not skip the set of 22-inch RS wheels, nor the colored brake callipers.

Kahn Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Luxury Edition interior

On the inside, the new upholstery is Black Herringbone leather but there are details in Alcantara. The dark theme is contrasted by stitching and additional offset is made by the Piano Black gear selector surround, aluminium vented foot pedals and stainless steel door entry sill plates.

Going to the next news, we have received the information that Kahn Group is starting partnership with Millennium Automotive Group. The latter is appointed as the sole Kahn distributor for Sri Lanka, so have that in mind if you are somewhere in the vicinity and are kind of impatient of buying Kahn vehicle.

Dubbed as Kahn Design Sri Lanka, this appointment will actually feature the entire range of products offered by the tuning masters at Kahn Group, including our favorite Chelsea Truck Company, Kahn Design and Project Kahn.

As for the Range Rover Evoque that we have just covered, if you find it interesting enough it could be yours for as low as £56,999.

  • This Evoque Black Label Edition by Kahn is One-Off Bijou You Must See

Kahn Range Rover Evoque Black Label Edition Front ViewRange Rover Evoque is one of the most beautiful cars on the market nowadays, and the talented tuners at Kahn Design discovered a way to make it even more desirable and hot-looking. Called Black Label Edition for a reason, this one-off Evoque is based on the five door Range Rover Evoque 2.0 TD4 SE Tech model from 2016 model year.

    All-Black Exterior

The design philosophy behind Black Label Edition is to make the Evoque… all-black. For this reason the customization experts have painted the vehicle in Santorini Black and have equipped it with matching styling pack. At the back of the car, there is a rear bumper diffuser, side sill trim, and tailgate trim that have been painted in Satin Black. The Kahn branding rounds-out the exterior modifications if we have to exclude the wheels.

In fact, the factory alloys have been too changed with new in-house made Matte Black RS600 ones. They measure 20-inch and are fitted with 275x40x20″ tires at all four corners. Behind them we see brake calipers finished in heat resistant paint.

    Little Contrast Inside

Kahn Range Rover Evoque Black Label Edition Interior

The interior contrasts a little bit from the general design idea of the exterior and this is because of the seats that have been wrapped in two opposite colors. Other changes inside include stainless steel door entry sill plates, high-quality carpeted floor mats, diamond gear selector and machined and ventilated aluminium foot pedals. They contribute for the luxurious feeling that only Kahn’s experts can add to a vehicle’s interior.

  • Kahn Range Rover Evoque RS Sport Shines Bright in Orkney Grey

Kahn Range Rover Evoque RS Sport Front ViewKahn Range Rover Evoque RS Sport comes in this beautiful grey exterior color. It also features a lot of styling upgrades for its exterior and interior. As a matter of fact, we seen this model being updated so many times, but it is never late for a better version. Even more, since it is one of the most cherished vehicles, it is always nice to see a custom-made individual variant. And here is what this one-off Evoque is about.

    Exterior

Important to mention is that the exterior paint scheme of this Kahn Range Rover Evoque RS Sport is called Orkney Grey. It looks magical because it was made of highly reflective particles inside a transparent layer. As a result, this combination creates a glistening effect.

SEE ALSO: Kahn Reveals Land Rover Defender XS 110 Pick Up in Corris Grey

As cool as it might be, one-color for the outer shell always seems monotone and sometimes boring. This is why, the experts at Kahn Design decided to contrast the grey exterior with black elements. Precisely, the darker color has been chosen for the floating black roof stripe and mirrors. They even added several Vesuvius Orange colored components.

This Range Rover Evoque, fitted with Tech Pack, has new front and rear bumper set to show-off with. The front also gets black and silver mesh, 3-D mesh inserts and LED daytime running lights. The specialists also added 3-D mesh grille.

At the sides, the vehicle is defined by side vents, stainless steel door entry sill plates, side sill trims as well as new “shoes”. To go into details, Kahn Design fitted onto this Range Rover 20-inch Matte Gun Metal grey wheels. Behind them we see contrasting brake callipers.

At last, the new appearance of the rear is characterized by new exhaust diffuser and the sporty rear bumper. New lower trunk spoiler and classic twin cross-hair exhaust have been also installed.

    Interior

Kahn Range Rover Evoque RS Sport Interior

Sitting behind a privacy tinted glass, the occupants will enjoy lavish leather upholstery. Precisely, the front and rear seats as well as the dashboard and transmission are covered with black leather. As a contrast, the designers used quilted stitching.

Below the waistline there are vented foot pedals in machined aluminium, diamond gear selector, stainless steel door entry sill plates and high-quality carpet floor mats.

  • Kahn Releases Tech Pack for the Range Rover Evoque RS Sport

After the latest projects we have seen from Kahn Design, it is now time to show you something “more ordinary”. Of course, I am not talking about the exclusivity of the vehicle here, but about the fact that it isn’t that ambitious as the Vengeance Project or the Flying Huntsman. Instead, this Range Rover Evoque has received a thorough treatment.

    Exterior

Equipped with the Tech Pack, the RS Sport version of the Evoque carries a wide range of exterior styling upgrades. First I should mention the striking exterior color, which is slick Santorini Black Metallic. See how dramatic it looks?

SEE ALSO: Kahn Reveals the Defender Based Flying Huntsman Pick Up

Next, at the front there is a matte black centre bumper section accompanied by a grille with 3-D mesh and a bumper mesh in matte black and silver. The side sills are contrasted by side vent inserts and integrated vents and LED daytime running lights.

At the sides we see new Matt Gun Metal multispoke RS600 wheels that come in the dimensions of 20-inches. They have been fitted with 275x40x20 tires, behind which hide a set of brake callipers. At last, rounding out the exterior of this car is the stainless steel cross-hair exhaust system, which gives the SUV even further muscular presence.

    Interior

When one steps inside the RS Sport, he or she finds out an interior dressed in quilted and perforated black leather highlighted by the contrast stitching along. Other cool elements inside are the diamond gear selector, aluminium vented foot pedals, the stainless steel door entry sill plates and the carpet floor mats.

  • How About an Extra Tuning for the Evoque? Yes, please!

Kahn Range Rover Evoque RS250Range Rover Evoque is one of the most wanted vehicles around the world. After the Type R, this is probably my second “dream-about” model. What makes it so attractive? It is probably up to one’s taste, but for sure when an Evoque gets a proper tuning, things really go out of control. This week, the specialists at Kahn Design have been working on this exclusive car and it now looks amazing.

Dubbed Kahn Range Rover Evoque RS250 Edition, the vehicle has been equipped with Tech Pack, but the first thing that one sees is the vibrant Volcanic Rock Satin paint. To make a contrast, the designers have made the roof black.

At the front, the Tech Pack has contributed for the new 3-D mesh grille, the inner grille with vents, headlight details, new bumper with running lights, integrated LEDs and “KAHN” lettering. The sides of the vehicle are dominated by the new sills, painted brake callipers and vents, while at the rear we see new bumper with integrated vents and a lower boot lid spoiler.

Rounding out the exterior tuning are the lowered sports suspension system, the stainless steel twin crosshair exhaust system and the 22-inch Kahn RS wheels fitted with 265x35x22″ tyres.

The interior of the vehicle is characterized by Oxblood Red Leather upholstery for the front and rear seats, centre glove box, transmission tunnel, and door arm rests. There is also a new speedometer, diamond gear selector, aluminium vented foot pedals, stainless steel door entry sill plates and heavy duty carpets.

Only those inside will benefit seeing the inner beauty of the Range Rover, since Kahn has added a privacy-tinted glass.

  • It’s Official: Range Rover Evoque Convertible Coming in 2016 [VIDEO]

It’s very exciting news today, since Land Rover has confirmed that it is going to introduce to the market a Range Rover Evoque Convertible. In fact, the vehicle has already been put under some serious testing at Crossrail, which is Europe’s largest construction project comprised of 26 miles of tunnels. In addition, the tests have been filmed and the result is a stunning film, which can be viewed below.

After we have seen the 2016 Evoque at the Geneva Motor Show, the company could not hide a little more from us that a cabrio version of the model is coming in 2016, too. And this is when both will go on sale. As you can see the open-top SUV has the new design cues that were incorporated in the new model year Evoque.

There are no details regarding any specification, but there probably won’t be any surprises. We expect the same gasoline engine, which produces 240 horsepower (176 kW) and accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 7.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 135mph (217km/h).

Bringing some attention to the video, it happens forty meters below the streets of London. This is where the first prototype was tested on the 26-mile network of Crossrail tunnels. The short film begins with the introduction of the convertible into the tunnel via a crane. Then it proceeds to the real testing where it meets a lot of various obstacles. And this is where the things get a little bit hotter. Check out and see for yourself.

Later this year, the company will release other details about the strongly demanded Evoque Convertible. What we are left until then is this beautiful video and the hope to get soon any news.

  • Is 2016 Range Rover Evoque a Disappointment?

It is totally British, it is beautiful, it is 2016 model year and it is here! If you have read the last publication, then you’ll already know that I am talking about the brand new 2016 Range Rover Evoque. This amazing vehicle is going to have its official premiere at the Geneva Motor Show and is set to have a market launch in the US this fall. The car has kept its distinctive appeal, powerful on road presence and captivating design, which in my opinion expresses true beauty.

Well, let’s see what’s new in the Evoque. Land Rover said that it has further refined the exterior in order to give it even more unique presence. In addition, absolutely new are the headlamps featuring LED adaptive technology. Other revisions include upgrades on the front bumper, grille, bigger alloys and more.

The new LEDs and wider tow-eye cover is a significant update to the design of the front and so are the two versions of the grille. The standard one is characterized by two horizontal bars and a new pattern. The second design includes hexagonal shape and more impressive mesh.

Only the five-door HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trims get the new hood vents. At the back, we see refined tailgate spoiler which adds wider, but at the same time slimmer LED rear brake lights.

Changes can be also seen inside and they include new seats and door casings, the infotainment system is fitted with the eight-inch touchscreen and there are some changes to the materials used for the interior elements. As a standard the vehicles will come with leather Ebony seats, while the top-of-the-range trim will feature massage function for the front seats.

Unfortunately, the 2016 Evoque will be offered with only one gazoline unit, which produces 240 horsepower (176 kW).

The engine can accelerate the car from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 7.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 135mph (217km/h). If you wonder about the fuel economy – it is 30mpg/highway.

Going next to the technology additions, the new Evoque features eight-inch InControl Touch touchscreen infotainment system, eight-speaker stereo system and optional rear-seat entertainment system coming with two eight-inch video screens and wireless digital headphones. Convenience is further enhanced by the Gesture Tailgate function, which allows owners to automatically manage the tailgate by pointing a foot beneath the rear bumper.

The new SUV will be offered in four trim levels including the SE, HSE, HSE Dynamic and the flagship Autobiography. We are not sure about the precise release price of the vehicle but it is said to be announced near launch and to be comparable with the model currently on sale.

So in other words there aren’t big changes to the model, despite my expectations and wishes. This is rather a facelift than a true new dramatic design. Just remember how the Civic hatch was changed in 2006 and you’ll know what I am talking about. Land Rover is obviously playing it safe and keeping what’s trendy. I love how the Evoque looks, but next time the ultimate British brand must do something that would really impress us!

  • What Eyes! What a Silhouette! What a Range Rover Evoque!

Land Rover has revealed the first teaser image of the 2016 Range Rover Evoque. The facelifted Evoque is heading to Geneva Motor Show early next month for its official premiere and it promises to deliver unmatched characteristics which will set a new benchmark for optimized driving exhilaration. This is expected to be the most successful Land Rover ever produced!

Nothing much can be really seen from the depicted picture but at least it opens a preview of an impressive “eyes” signature. The 2016 model year Range Rover is said to be the first model that arrives with full LED adaptive headlamps. With such strikingly powerful technological equipment, the car will be able to offer “superior illumination in dark conditions, following the curves of the road, and is identifiable by the distinctive headlamp graphic.”

Commenting on the enhanced presence of the car, Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, said that: “Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design. The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world.”

The automaker has been somewhat too coy and still hasn’t shared enough specific information regarding the performance of the new Evoque. What we know for sure, though, is that it will be fitted with a new engine line-up, new safety and convenience features, and interior improvements all wrapped in the trademark exterior design.

More details will follow on 23 February 2015.
