2018 Nissan Armada Nissan announces details and pricing for the 2019 Armada full-size 8-passenger SUV that is already on sale. For 2019 model year, Armada brings tons of additional features and improves the already known ones. For example, the vehicle includes one of the best-in-class 390hp power unit and neat choice of equipment goodies.

In fact, all 2019 Armada models feature Standard Rear Door Alert, Standard Intelligent Cruise Control, Standard Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning systems. Furthermore, all models can be specified in SV, SL Platinum and Platinum Reserve trim levels, which offer different level of utility gadgets and yet the same level of refinement and luxury.

What is also special about this particular 2019 model is the standard Rear Door Alert system that reminds customers that certain items may be forgotten in the rear seat – pets, valuables, dry cleaning, groceries, gadgets and similar. 2019 Nissan Versa Sedan Nissan announces details about the new 2019 Versa Sedan and Versa S with 5-speed manual gearbox. With a starting price of $12,360USD, the new guy in the family has a lot to showcase. Geared with tons of features and refined drivetrain system, the latest family member has a lot to demonstrate – and we are eager to review it, so let’s waste no more time and see what this bad boy has for us!

Furthermore, every vehicle in the lineup features the already mentioned 17-inch 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, lower body sill extensions, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake lights, fog lights and chrome exhaust tip finisher. Exclusively for NISMO trim level, engineers have included signature “layered double wing” design treatment in the front, side and rear lower body panels, while the interior features NISMO front seats with logo and additional side bolstering.

Nissan reshapes a Rogue into the Millennium Falcon

Nissan team showcases a Star-Wars themed custom vehicle at the Hollywood red carpet at the premiere of the latest movie in the series “Solo: A Star Wars Story”. Based on the award-winning 2018 Nissan Rogue, the revised vehicle has taken inspiration form the most famous ship in the galaxy, the iconic Millennium Falcon and also features components form other ships from the series.

In Nissan team’s own words, combining both concept ideas, the Rogue and the Falcon has actually ended up as a natural fit. And something more, not only in terms of styling and visuals, but also in character and technologies: the Rogue can maintain high speed and neat agility, while the Falcon is notorious for finding ways out of trouble.

Fans and enthusiasts of both Nissan and Star Wars will enjoy the craftsmanship and the meticulous attention to details. And not only the exterior represents a machine from the well-known series, but also the interior is based on the Falcon: there are numerous buttons, lights, sound effects and similar. In fact, there are also seats that resemble these seen inside the Millennium Falcon. Sweet!

Nissan showcases more details for Rogue Hybrid SUV

Nissan has recently revealed details for the 2018 Nissan Rogue Hybrid machine. It utilizes manufacturer’s advanced Intelligent Dual Clutch system and lithium-ion battery in order to provide smooth and pleasurable driving experience.

The Rogue delivers a total of 176hp and 175Nm of torque through the 2.5-liter internal combustion engine. Both units are mated to Xtronic gearbox that features two driving modes: Sport and Eco. Furthermore, the vehicle is geared with Vehicle Dynamic Control and 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System for enhanced safety while on the road.

Is Brexit the Biggest Threat to the UK Car Industry? [Infographic]

The truth is that car industry has voiced their concerns over Brexit, stating that an introduction of tariffs after the UK leaves the EU is an issue that could potentially result in job losses. In fact, phenomena as Brexit is purely new and all that is to come of such activity is yet to be discovered. Countries such as Germany have warned that a ‘hard’ Brexit will damage Britain’s automotive industry. They say they are likely to move production to Eastern Europe, where there are low-cost EU countries. This is because an exit from the EU single market will mean tariff costs and an increase in prices. However, we all wonder whether Britain will choose this particular area for future automobile manufacturing. After all, there are numerous countries and areas that offer such low-cost labour force.

Although the likes of Nissan are claiming they wish to continue building models in UK factories, and therefore safeguarding jobs, there are fears that Brexit will damage Britain’s economy overall. The UK manufactures 1.7 million cars a year, over half of which are shipped to the EU. As it seems, both sides benefit from such situation. However, a radical change in politics, as Brexit suggests, would definitely change the course of economy and force countries to find new ways of collaborating with each other. We do live in strange times. And we all wonder who would benefit from such a situation.

2017 Nissan NV200 Van Nissan team has announced more details for the 2017 Compact Cargo that is already on sale at select Nissan Commercial Vehicles dealers all around the globe.

2017 will meet NV200 with numerous fresh additions: Hill Start Assist, body-colored front and rear bumpers, outside mirrors and rear license plate, chrome grille design and full wheel covers. Also, the Sliding Door Glass Package is refreshed and adds a wire mesh to the passenger side sliding door glass and back door glass. There are also a rear window defroster and interior rearview mirror.

As you might know, the NV200 Compact Cargo tries to become the favorite van in the whole segment. It features car-like handling, small turning radius, fold-down feature to the seats, integrated mounting points and third party upfitting of racks and bins.

The new Nissan Rogue: what’s special about this one? [VIDEO]

2017 Nissan Rogue Nissan team has finally announced details for the latest 2017 Rogue crossover machine. And what we hear is quite satisfactory. The latest family member has undergone some comprehensive changes and features revised exterior and interior styling, additional safety features and revised drivetrain system. So, let’s check out what is going on here!

One of the most notable and important changes is the addition of electric hybrid drivetrain system. Available in two grade levels with either front-and all-wheel-drive function, the new Rogue is both efficient and agile. And just as previous editions, this one offers optional 3-row/7-passenger seating, larger cargo capacity and all this topped with EX Flex Seating System. Sweet.

2017 Micra Gen5: agile and appealing. We like it!

2017 Nissan Micra Gen5 With intention to become Europe’s favorite /or one of its favorite/ hatchbacks, Migra Gen5 will try to do it with confidence, style and convenience. So, let’s dive in vehicle’s features and find out why Nissan team is so confident about the success of this one.

Exteriors styling

Sharp lines, neat curves, some “plot twists” here and there and incredibly ugly front end. This is our first impression after seeing this one. We have to admit that the styling language is expressive and bold, but this face is just… not in place. Features eye-catching V-motion grille, sharp-edged lines, boomerang-shaped lights and floating roof. Sexy. If you don’t look it from the front.

There are a total of 10 body colors, including the new Energy Orange. Of course, Nissan has included numerous more customizable tweaks: there are a total of 125 different goodies to bend to your style. Sweet.

Interior tweaks

Nissan team has paid much attention to the interior comfort and convenience features. The design team has lowered the driving position and added some more seat adjustments. Also, the fully adjustable steering wheel and the special positioning of the pedals contribute to that overall great feeling of comfort and relaxation while driving.

Technologies and goodies

Micra Gen5 will feature some technologies that are usually not present in the whole B-segment. These include Lane Departure Prevention, Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Recognition, Intelligent Around View Monitor, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist and Blind Spot Warning systems. Cool.

Driver and passengers will be pleased to know that there is a premium six-speaker Bose audio system, a special 7-inch color display that provides satellite navigation, mobile phone incorporation and of course, tons of entertainment features.

Drivetrain system

In terms of convenience there are Active Ride Control and Active Trace Control that will look after your ride and will take care for smooth and pleasurable ride. However, the engine system is not that impressive: there is a choice between a 0.9-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol unit and a 1.5-liter diesel unit, both offering the aid of 90 horses (67kW).

Much attention has been paid to reducing noise in the cabin. Improvements include outstanding noise insulation and optimisation of the car’s aerodynamic performance. Exceptional aero efficiency has been achieved thanks to the combined roof and side spoiler. As a result, the new Micra has achieved a Cd of 0.29 – top level for a hatchback. And at some point in the future, there will be available and a bit more agile 73hp 1.0-liter power unit.

In fact, we like the vehicle. It looks incredible, incorporates numerous handy technologies and systems and we presume that many people will be happy with the drivetrain setup. However, I still recommend you not looking the car from the front.

2017 Sentra ST Turbo: modest in features, unappealing in design

2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo The 2017 Sentra SE Turbo has already showed its features at this year’s Miami International Auto Show. Joining and enriching the well-known Sentra lineup, the SE Turbo will be available for order later this fall all over the world. So, what did Miami Show’s audience witness?

Sentra Turbo features new 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline turbocharged power unit that delivers 188hp (140kW) and 177lb-ft of torque. This means that the 1.8-engine delivers a total of 64hp and 52lb-ft of torque more output, compared to the non-turbo 2017 Sentra model.

Of course, engine power output is not enough to make a certain sporty vehicle appealing, right? Nissan team has also enhanced the body structure, improved the steering system and braking system, included new 6-speed manual or the special Xtronic gearbox with manual mode and has done some sweet fine-tuning on the suspension system.

Exterior design

In terms of exterior styling, the refreshed Sentra comes with LED low beam projector headlights with LED accents, lower side sills, new rear spoiler and redesigned LED brake lights. The sporty feeling is enhanced with sweet 17-inch aluminum alloys.

But let’s be honest here: This vehicle comes with not well-proportioned body. Yes, we got the clean and straight lines, but they are just not enough to hide the fat-looking body and not-sporty-at-all appearance.

Interior styling

Nothing that interesting. Functional and simple, the cabin incorporates sporty seats, seatback pocket, heated front seats, 5.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display and Siri Eyes Free Voice Recognition. That’s it.

Additional equipment

Offered in four trim levels, S, SV, SR and SL, the Sentra Turbo includes power sliding moonroof as a standard feature for all trim levels, numerous Turbo badges and… this is it. Yep, nothing else. What makes exception is the optional Premium Package, available with all trims. It adds Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, leather-dominated interior and sweet Bose Premium audio system. Sweet.

Final words

We believe that this one stays true to Nissan’s politics to deliver us high-quality and reliable vehicles. However, we should mention one more time Sentra’s unsexy looks, poor standard equipment and overall unappealing pack of goodies.
